Stopped by for breakfast recently and loved it!! The staff was so friendly and the coffee and food was delicious. The avocado toast was so filling and a big highlight.

I wanted to support a local coffee shop this morning so I stopped into Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters before work. Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters in located on Folsom Blvd next to Hilltop Tavern, so street parking is only available. We went early this morning so there was no problem finding parking. I like to check and see if coffee shops have specials and they had a Fall menu with a Pumpkin Chai, a Fall Flat White and a few other choices - I went with an Iced Praline Latte. It was pretty good - not too sweet and strong enough to get my morning going. The inside is nice and minimal - I loved watching the employees make their coffee roasts next door and there were some people sitting at tables and enjoying their coffee. It was a very relaxed vibe. Staff were friendly, but they definitely take their time when making drinks. Luckily, I had some extra time to kill this morning so it wasn't too big of a deal. I also paid $8+ for my drink including tip, but that's the going rate nowadays. Support local! I will be back soon! Check them out!

Chocolate Fish is such an odd, but catchy name, so it makes all the more memorable lol! I did a quick stop here and ordered a Matcha Latte. Personally I don't like my lattes too sweet so I thought they did a good job in making my drink! The Matcha quality is good! My husband had a cappuccino and his was WOW. I'd have to grab a coffee for sure next time. The staff were sweet and they took about 5 minutes to make our order. The store was quite spacious and had plenty of seating on a Saturday afternoon.

I had never been here before, but my wife discovered this coffee house while she was on a business trip and asked if I wanted her to bring back some whole beans. I'm glad she did! The beans were absolutely amazing--fresh, flavorful, and some of the best coffee I've had in a long time. Now I definitely want to stop in myself next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates great coffee.

This location is in little Italy of Sacramento. The place itself is pretty small but very welcoming. I ordered one of their seasonal drinks (cannot remember the name) but it was a mocha with yummy chocolate shavings. It's a nice place to stop by for coffee if you are in the area but be weary they do have limited seating.

East sac location of choc fish- favorite iced chai is what I always get here! The staff is so nice! This location was big! A huge area to work or relax inside and a nice outdoor patio! Parking is in the back! They also accept Apple Pay and have a coffee rewards program!

Go here for my weekly treat of the cortado with hint of honey. Now, I get the honeycomb flat white, I love it better than the latte, less milk. I had their matcha, I like their coffee better. The baristas are all kind and welcoming! They always answering our crazy questions. Jas has been making our drinks pretty! There is a dude that does it to but can't remember his name. The place is spacious and has outside seatings.

Great coffee and lots of seating. I ordered the seasonal apple chaider which was a nice warm drink for this Sacramento cold.

I was not overly the top wowed by their drinks. Everyone in our group agreed the drinks all seemed more watery than flavorful. Their food options were great! I love the ambiance of the space. There's so many fun places to sit including outside. Parking was not fun to figure out. This is not really a coffee shop where you want to stay and get a lot to work done. It's good for 1-2 hours at most.

I looked for coffee roasters near my hotel and chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters had what I was looking for. The guidelines I use is someplace that serves white mocha because that's my husband's favorite drink. So looking YELP they listed white mocha and walked over this March morning. They had a selection of muffins, pastries and cookies. Just the ticket! I ordered a monthly special drink, their tiramisu latte iced and a croissant. My drink was exactly what I wanted. There is lots of inside seating and a patio that faces Folsom Blvd. I decided to get coffee beans to take home, and while waiting in line I spotted the menu of foods they can prepare. The inside was what one would expect, with tall seats, cafe seats inside and a large table with benches and a stack of books for kids. Thank you Chocolate Fish Coffee Roasters for providing a pleasant breakfast and coffee. I look forward to brewing the coffee beans when I get back to Tucson, Arizona.

The mocha latte I got yesterday was amazing!! It was smooth, rich, creamy and everything in-between. The toast was amazing as well. Not sure how I've always been next door and never stopped by here. Will I be coming back? Most definitely!

Let me start by saying the avocado toast was the best I ever had . Fresh ingredients for sure . And it was also filling. The tables def needed cleaning, and they were wobbly as well. It looks like they sticked sugar packets under it, so my mom and I didn't really sit comfortably. Service was friendly and coffee was good.

This is my first visit to Chocolate Fish and I have to say, I loved it! Coming from Seattle where there are boutique cafes on every corner, I have a high bar for great coffee. I typically order an Americano or traditional cappuccino but the seasonal offer of a flat white with chai and nutmeg sounded perfect on this autumn day! Im a sucker for latte art and this cute little pumpkin greeting me did not disappoint! The flat white had the perfect hint of chai without overwhelming the coffee and the sprinkle of nutmeg on top added just the right amount of "extra." So happy my brother recommended I stop in while visiting our family here. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Sacramento!

They are secretly hiding a gourmet kitchen in there. I only came for coffee, but the food envy was real the second I saw the dishes on the other tables. I ended up ordering the steak and eggs with an iced herbal tea. And what can I say? SO. GOOD. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the culinary mashup of kimchi and chimichurri was immaculate. I loved it so much I literally couldn't leave without buying a second order to-go for my mom. Yes, THAT good. This is a must-visit if you're in Sacramento. I'm already plotting my return to try their popular Vietnamese coffee.

I didn't want chain coffee today. The Graham coffee w oat milk ... super yummy. The breakfast options were plentiful and creative. After minutes of deliberation... I especially appreciated the smiles of the staff. I was greeted with a smile by who looked like she would be the owner. (Her quirky style and sweet but 'bout it demeanor is why I say that) The chef emerged from behind the half curtain with a smile and a look of pride for the dish he was presenting. Even Door Dash guy was greeted with a smile and told " thank you!" The variety of music was on point. I definitely recommend this spot. I will return when I am in the area again!

The people that work there were so cool! I'm thinking about moving to the area and they were really great about giving me a lot of suggestions of neighborhoods to look at. It seems that they specialize in a lot of iced flavored coffees, as that is what I saw most of the people that were there when I was getting. I just wanted a latte with a little bit of honey and cinnamon. Was kind of surprised that they don't carry cinnamon at their shop, that's a coffee shop staple. I did enjoy the latte, though, the roast on the beans was very nice. The vibe in this old home is so cool, lots of people just chatting and hanging out. Was a really great place to pass a little time in a beautiful neighborhood. I would return to this coffee shop. I didn't try any of the pastries that were available, but I did see a case with a selection.
