Great local filipino mini market! Although a small store, this business offers a variety of filipino products from fruits, fresh and cooked seafood, and stored pantry items! The store even had a money transfer section! I am impressed how much they packed in this store! The staff were busy keeping up the store but seemed friendly. That being said, options for pantry items and vegetables were limited because it is a small space so I did not find some of the things I was looking for but I was very impressed with what this store has to offer! This review is based solely on their skewers, which are very good. My wife and I were craving solid Filipino food and heard about these skewers through a friend. Man, this place came through. I was actually planning on getting tacos with a friend but I saw a HUGE crowd of people and I just had to make a stop. What was going on?! Story time: There was a local politician who was hosting an event to promote himself and they told us that the food was on them *gasp*. Your boy doesn't say no to free food so I grabbed $15 worth of meat skewers and when I we said we were with the politician....they said they used up all their funds. I embarrassingly scrambled to try to find $15 worth of cash in my wallet. Empty promising politicians. Typical. But also I probably shouldn't have grabbed $15 worth of stuff. lol. Anyways! I wasn't disappointed about the money that I spent because all the meats were quite good! And they have open grills outside to so you can BBQ your own meat! My friend told me that they have turo turo food here. She said that the fish was so delicious and you just have to heat it up using the microwave. She also told me to get embutido (thanks Fia R). Parking is a bitch at this little plaza. The stores share limited parking spaces and it's frustrating sometimes. The lady asked me why I took pictures and she seemed unhappy. This market is probably not busy because the guys from the meat/seafood departments actually love watching the customers. It's kinda annoying trying to shop when you see they are watching you. Maybe they never saw girls before. Now go back to your department and clean some fish. The fish was just okay to me. Same with my embutido. I also got turon and it was not good. This is a mom & pop corner Filipino grocery with a meat and seafood butcher in house. You can also pick your fish... Have them clean and fry it. Filipinos and Latinos in the neighborhood flock to this joint specially for that... They're not spotless but.... They're convenient, inexpensive, and yummy! 3 solid stars! Ok, why the 4 stars? They now have Filipino street food after grocery hours on weekends! Around 7PM on Fridays and Saturdays... They break out their grill and BBQ and post up in their parking lot. Authentic Pinoy meat on a stick yumminess... And guess what? It's a dollar each!!! :) They have the standard stuff like pork, chicken... But they also have... I've been coming here for many years now. The people there are very chatty and unprofessional. The male manager the name of "Bong" ripped me off. He gave me the wrong change after I spent $20. He told me I should've counted my money.i literally walked out the door and walked right back because I was short of change. He said I "dropped" it. That same moment? That's ridiculous. They are making SO MUCH Money with dollar hits bbq. It would be nice to at least have decent service there. I will not be returning back. read more

100% better under the new ownership! Doesn't smell like fish at all, even with the large selection of fresh fish available, which they will cook for you, if you'd like. They have fresh vegetables, a great selection of cold drinks, fresh hot food and all the canned, frozen and packaged foods and treats from back home. Very happy! read more

Temple Market is a cute mom and pop Filipino market that I would be happy to go to whenever I am in the area. Being Filipino, I appreciate the smell of fish from the fish section, the workers calling out "how much does this cost?" from across the store, and how packed the aisles are with Filipino-loved food and products. It reminds me of my childhood. :) One of the workers was really nice and even suggested which coconut juice to get when I wondered out loud, "Which should I choose? There are so many options!" It was really cheap too! A large can of coconut juice was only $1! Super cheap and great place to get a taste of Filipino food, products, and culture. The chef also has a $1 food truck that is open Thursday-Sundays from 6:30-11pm, right outside the market. Must try! read more

My family and I go here for the following things (probably it): - Phone Cards (old school, can't teach new tricks to ... Lol) - Fried Tilapia, BEST! - Grilled Pork Belly & Squid (call ahead!) - small grocery necessities (bananas, vegetables & drinks) - Plethora of road snackies, from salty to sweet and everything in between. The owner is really chill and while the rather new counter-girl has phone/hearing issues she brings a new and endearing energy to the place. Get a new cordless from Costco. This place holds great memory and will always be the go-to place for call-in Fried Tilapia, Grilled Pork Belly & Squid and of course old school phone cards. FYI, if you can't find parking, don't even have a car. Matter of fact, don't even breathe *noob*. Srsly. Smh. Like omg. T^T Furthermore, if you can't judge something before you buy it, don't buy it (especially if it's food, forgot we have 5+ basic senses - one of which is common sense to smell the bad smell. This place is filthy. I'd chalk it up to it just being an old building, but the smell is so weird inside. Also, the old woman incorrectly rang me up for a bag of pork rinds. That's fine, we all make mistakes, but when I politely asked her about the price that was clearly marked on the bag and the amount she charged me, she just grabbed the bag and threw it to the side. I ordered Grilled Pork Belly and Fried Fish, placed the order a couple of days ago and on the day that I'm about to pick it up, nothing was done .. How can they be so incompetent? I had to wait for an hour to get it all worked up .. The sad part is I have a total of 20 people waiting for their lunch .. Lunch break was over and they still haven't eaten .. They don't deserve a star but there's no option for zero star .. Make sure you give them a call once again just to make sure that your order will be ready .. SMH .. The old cashier lady is very rude and very unprofessional. She has a short temper to serve customers. I will not go back to that market again and not recommend at all. I will not even give it a star...I was there today to get me some embutido. i even asked the cashier if it's still fresh and she said "yes" with giggles. When I got home, I put the embutido in my refrigerator and waited till my husband got home to prepare the embutido for dinner. When I was taking the foil wrap off, I smelled something sour, I thought it was just the wrapper so I put it in the microwave for 4 minutes then I sliced it and took a little piece to taste it and guess what?
