Came on a weekday for AYCE KBBQ - was pleasantly surprised that their AYCE menu has a substantial variety of meat offerings. My favorites were probably the bulgogi, rib fingers, and short rib. Some of the meat selections come marinated in honey butter (meh), teriyaki, or spicy sauce. I enjoyed the variety of banchan as well. So, when we got a chance to visit a KBBQ place during our visit to LA, we tried to pick one with good quality and good selection of meats. We decided on Ten and we were happy with our decision. While the selection was OK, the meats available were very good quality with a mix of nicely marbled and soft meats covering beef to pork to chicken to seafood. The sides were nice to have, but to each their own. The restaurant itself is decently sized. Dark interior with some ambient lighting to make me feel like this place becomes popping at night time. We visited during the lunch hours on a Tuesday, so it was not busy at all, which could have explained the epic service. We were well tended to and the servers were incredibly nice. I would warn you that while there is a private lot, there are only like 4 spaces (one of them being designated blue) for Ten and two other stores (although one is a gym and the other seems to be vacant). We used to go to Ten BBQ when it was Tenraku and Nakkji Maeul. Both not AYCE. The best part for me was their kkakdukki fried rice... and feeling nostalgic drove into Ktown for dinner. Non smoky interior, clean and I can tell they changed the decor since the last time I've been... along with the name. I am guessing an owner change. They have reservations which I really love. I hate waiting for dinner. That being said it was pretty quiet for a Saturday night... and I'm not sure why. We usually got either the nakkji (small octopus) stew or a meat combo in the past... but since they changed the combos we decided to do the AYCE. If seems like the menu is larger than it is, with most cuts of meat served plain, with a bulgogi/teriyaki marinade, butter garlic or spicy marinade. The meat quality was actually really good. Loved that they had tortillas on the menu to make kbbq tacos. I really loved that the waiters cooked our food for us! Kimchi fried rice was good just wish they kept the kakkdukki (radish kimchi) fried rice as it was super unique and delicious. All in all, we will definitely be back. Our favorites were the Pork Jowl, Korean Short Rib, and the spicy brisket ramen! Trust me, the Brisket Ramen is a perfect pairing with your bbq! The service was excellent because we didn't have to lift a finger, the server cooked all the meats for us! It's rare for me to go to a non-ayce place (edit: they offer ayce now) but I'm really glad I did! This was definitely worth the price especially given the portion size :) Parking can be a hit or miss tho, as it is K-Town. We got seated right away and the staff were very friendly. They definitely made the experience better. The ambiance was nice too with the dimmed lighting and good music. We were a total of 3 people, and we actually got full with the E Set Combo! The presentation was beautiful, and you can tell the meat was super fresh. They cooked it tenderly. We got it with the Kimchi Fried Rice, which was nothing special, but blended well with all our dishes. I would say tho, they give really tiny portions of rice paper (~ 5 sheets) to where we kept asking for more, and eventually stopped cause we felt bad. We will definitely be back :) read more

I came across this on yelp and am glad we gave it a shot. We don't like in the area but have eaten in the area and have driven by this place many times. It was pretty quiet for a Sunday evening but I think it's because we came before the dinner rush. We had the AYCE option since our 2 older kids love to eat. My son and daughter loved the marinated boneless short ribs. The meat was very juicy and well marinated. All the banchan provided pairs very well with the assorted meat that we ordered. Service was good. Everything came out very quickly and just like in Korea - they handle everything on the grill for you. We didn't have to cook anything(much appreciated). The staff is attentive and doesn't let your meat burn or get too crispy, prompting you to enjoy your slices at the peak moment. Although the portion size was on the smaller size for our group we supplemented our meal with a seafood pancake. This was one of the best pancakes I've had. I really like how the space is not too congested and the air conditioner is well ventilated. The friendly staff here come around to your table frequently to help you cook the meat and suggest cooking time for the meat if you do want to cook it yourself. For the extra side items that are complimentary, the steamed egg and brisket ramen was pretty good as well! Yoooooooooooooooooooooo! Loved how this place was open the latest and accepted us with open arms even when we arrived at like 1:30am. Great quality meat and everything came so fast, right when we seated they provided the sides immediately. From the menu we just liked the pork jowl, brisket, beef belly, pork belly and the beef tongue. We requested for tofu soup not knowing they charged extra for that we ordered 2 of them and they charged us $18 each and they didnt tell us which kinda sucked if we knew we would have just ordered the other soy bean paste soup. But for the beef brisket we didnt enjoy it much but the beef belly is always my favorite and the pork jowl was also amazing. The service was also my favorite with our server they even help cook it for us and checked up on us often. Almost forgot my favorite was also the beef tongue but they give you 4 pieces at a time so we ordered about 16 of it immediately and it came out fast. The ambiance is your normal korean bbq clean and a bit loud and the restroom was clean aswell. I would definitely come back here again and not order the tofu soup lol read more
