When I visited LA with some friends Meat Love was the first spot we checked out after the airport, and it was a fantastic experience besides a few hiccups. There was a cap on the amount of galbi you could order and I accidentally burned my hand cooking the meat. That being said, the galbi was absolutely delicious, juicy, and perfectly marinated. The banchan was also super flavorful and varied and came with free refills! My favorite was the macaroni salad and the spiced vinagrette fish cakes with jalapeños. The MVP of the meal however was the Beef Tongue. It was incredibly juicy and scrumptious, so much so that we ended up ordering it three times! If you're a fan of melt-in-your-mouth meat, this is a must try! What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. They were super attentive throughout our visit, and when I foolishly burned my hand on the grill, they quickly brought out an entire first aid kit and some ice, helping me soak my hand and recover. Came here again for my birthday. We got here early on a Friday so it wasnt too crowded luckily. I decided to get some appetizers this time to try them out and they were ok; the corn cheese wasn't my fav, the lettuce was just fine and the fried chicken was decent. We got the brisket, spicy chicken and marinated bulgogi. I will say their portion sizes for each serving of meat were wildly inconsistent; the brisket was a very small serving while the bulgogi was literally piled high with so much meat it was essentially a mountain. Heads up though, if you wanna park in their parking lot it's $5. They call it "Valet" but you park the car yourself and don't hand your keys over to the person so you're really just paying for the spot. read more

For a Friday night, my group of 2 was seated really quickly. Servers were fast to take our first round of orders and the side dishes were already placed on the table. We got the basic package and ordered 4 rounds of meat. We also got corn cheese and a shake box and veggies. They didn't have the veggies skewered, but it's fine as i was gonna grill it all the same. Servers were quick with retaking orders and changing our grills. For a Friday, the restaurant wasn't busy despite the parking lot being full. The tables around us were chatting quietly, probably because their mouths are stuffed with food. My only critique is that the air vacuums arent strong/not enough air flow inside, I was pelted with oil droplets and grill steam because the air only flowed towards my side of the tables. read more

The place is actually big but for the most part, they only use one section of the restaurant. In turn, sometimes the wait can be long. And, they don't take reservations. Corn cheese being on the menu is a huge plus for me and they have a good amount of beef selection, however I'd stray from anything marinated-- it's on the sweeter side if that's up your alley. This has been my go-to cheaper KBBQ place in Ktown for years. Appetizers such as corn cheese and tofu stew are free, and they have a good deal, even with the premium AYCE menu. My party of 3 opted for the cheaper AYCE menu, and we left so full. My favorite always is the bulgogi -- theirs is well-marinated without being too sweet, and i love it with rice paper and radish. A close second would be the beef finger. Drinks are separate from the AYCE price, but they emphasize on the menu that they only make money from drink sales, so I didn't mind. Servers are fast with getting meat and other orders, and they are on top of it in terms of changing grills when they get too burnt. It gets crowded and noisy because it's so popular, but to me that's the ambiance I want for KBBQ. Definitely come here if you're looking for a standard, cheaper KBBQ experience! read more

Although there were many sides, kimchi wasn't included so had to pay extra for that side. There is valet parking, very affordable and makes coming here even smoother. Meat Love is staple in my friend group known for their outstanding food choices and great vibe. It's can get pretty crowded real quick especially Friday through Sunday. The service is awesome and everything comes out the kitchen pretty quick. My personal favorite and go to is bulgogi. It's nice sweet and savory and it juicy and tender. It's everything anyone could want in meat. After bulgogi the next go to thing is the brisket because it's cut so thin you can eat so much of it and it has tremendous flavor and a lot easier if a texture. The chicken options are also good. I like the spicy chicken personally but they are all pretty well. The fried chicken that comes on the side is kind of like orange chicken that is great as well. The dumplings rule nice and crispy packed with tons of flavor and the corn cheese is rocks too. I love meat love I go a lot and will always recommend this place for KBBQ. 10/5 stars read more

Went here with a large group of 10 (we reserved the day before), the overall service was a little slow but the restaurant was packed (it was on a Thursday near closing time). It took a little while for us to get our meats and longer for any sides The meats were really good! We all collectively decided to just repeatedly order bulgogi, brisket, and belly (the works haha). The banchan was pretty average and I was not a fan of the kimchi fried rice. It was nothing too special compared to other places in KTown. What sets meat love apart is their unlimited egg soup (most places I go to have a minimum) and their corn cheese!! Most places I go to don't really have too good of corn cheese but there was something about Meat Love that was really hitting the spot. I think I took out two egg soups on my own lol. There was just something about it that just amplified the meal! After just how good the corn cheese and egg soup was I took my family here over the weekend (it was Sunday during lunch time, less packed). We usually go to Gangnam station-- a family favorite, but I just could NOT stop thinking about the corn cheese and egg soup. The corn cheese was still just as good but for some reason the egg soup was just not tasting the same?? Not sure if it was just me but it had a stronger taste of tap water I would like to add that despite the fact that there were less people the service was not any faster. The tables weren't too spacious and we did not have room for anything which was not really ideal. My family and I still enjoyed the food tho! Another AYCE Kbbq in the house! It's not a bad place to go for Korean BBQ. But it does feel weird to still eat outside after the pandemic. Basically, the whole parking lot is a large tent erected to serve. To my amazement, the inside was not used, as it shows by its storage and lack of maintenance. I observed a bar with large flat screen televisions hung on the walls, used a quite dirty restroom, and dirty floors. Anyhow, it's more about the food and the service. Aside from the bonchons and the delicious steamed whipped eggs, we ordered beef brisket, Bulgogi, ribeye steak, pork belly, shrimp, chicken, and more marinated beef and pork meat. The meat quality was very good, and the service was superb. Very flavorful marinated meat along with our dipping sauces. I particularly like the steaks. Quite marbled visually to prove its quality. Even though the service was great, we had to cook ourselves. Something I can't get used to nowadays as most kbbq places, the servers help cook. I guess it was fine eating outdoors since the whole area was still smokey, and the outside breeze helped, but it was still quite warm under the tent since it was a hot day. Parking was not easy to find as the establishment obviously does not have a parking lot. Park around the neighborhood, and be sure to read the signs. Overall, it was a good experience. Very reasonable price for kbbq. I think it was about $25. Add beer, and it's around the $40 range. I like this place... but they should think about re-opening the inside. read more

Meat Love only had outdoor dining under a tent, which is great because you don't smell like KBBQ afterwards! Another plus is I can bring my dog while dining! How awesome is that! The banchan are small but you can ask for more, that is if you get the worker's attention. Service is hit or miss here since they are short staff. I saw one waiter, one waitress and one busboy the whole night. Our group ordered various meats, salads, steam eggs, spicy tofu soup, cheese corn, veggies skewers. Surprisingly the kimchi lunch box is very delicious! The secret is to shake it up with the lid on and mix it all up! This is a solid KBBQ spot!! You really can't beat $25 for this quality. Their best cuts were the Beef Belly, Beef Rib Fingers, and Black Pork Belly. The Marinated Pork Spare Ribs get an honorable mention for being so tender! The Beef Brisket was decent, but very lean. They give a few basic banchan with the additions of salt, ssamjang, and a house sauce. I wish they gave sesame oil too, but these did the job. Be sure to ask for some rice paper! KEEP IN MIND: Parking can be a pain, so definitely expect to use valet or circle the neighborhood for parking. read more

This place was worth a try, I probably won't be coming here again unless I'm in the area. Overall the food was good, meats tasted good once cooked, pork belly did throw me off a bit because it looked different from what I'm used to seeing at other kbbq places. Parking is a hassle, though I was lucky to have found parking right in from on the Main Street, just plan ahead knowing that you have to find somewhere to park. One of my favorite items in the menu was the kimchi friend lunchbox rice, I'm pretty sure my friends and I asked for at least 3 + Besides that, it's seems a lot of places in K-town have this tent set up AYCE kbbq. A lot of people were mentioning this place when it comes to korean bbq, and now I understand why. I wish I could gatekeep this place to myself a little more, but I won't. This place was definitely worth the price! Probably one of the best prices in ktown. The regular AYCE menu was definitely good enough for us. Prime brisket, pork bellies, etc. So good! No LA Galbi (I think?) though, if that's something on your must-have list. Steamed egg, corn cheese, etc are all included. The steamed egg was a winner. The corn cheese was good, but felt a little more on the mayo side than the cheese side to me. The ban chans were good! The list: pink radish, bean sprouts, japchae, mac salad, fish cakes, salad! You can ask for kimchi and rice paper rolls, but they won't put them out on the table. Almost like a secret banchan menu. Overall, the meats were great quality, the vibe was fun, and parking was not bad (although we did come on a Monday at 5:30pm). Valet is $3 but there's street meter parking that only goes up until 6pm so we ended up only paying 50cents at our meter. Meat Love, we will definitely be back! read more

I'm glad they took down the tent in the parking lot and is back to being inside the restaurant. This was our 2nd time coming here. You write your name and party size on a clipboard at the front. We waited about 30/40 mins on a Saturday night. The restaurant is decent sized and has plenty of tables/searing. Service is quick, you can let them know which items you want more of. We liked the brisket, bulgogi and kimchi rice lunch box. The side dishes were good too. The price is also good. FYI, they also include 15% gratitude to your bill.
