I had a great experience at 7th Korean BBQ! We ordered the whole steak, and it was definitely the highlight of the meal. The meat was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The portion was great for sharing, especially with all the different sides that came with it. The banchan selection was excellent, and everything tasted fresh and complemented the steak perfectly. We also tried the pancakes, which were crispy on the outside, flavorful, and great for sharing. We ordered several other dishes as well, and honestly, everything that came to the table was delicious. REVIEW #2100. 7th is my new "go to" AYCE KBBQ! You have a ton of AYCE KBBQ restaurants in K-Town LA, each one is unique and different in their own way. One thing a place needs to compete is good service and good food. 7th Korean is that. I was able to book a reservation (even though we didn't need to book one), and when we arrived we were greeted by a couple of pleasant wait staff. We were sat right away (they weren't busy just yet), and were able to order off their AYCE menu (lowest option). All their meats were fresh and good. Loved their banchans, their steamed egg, onion pancakes, and other dishes. The owner was even around and chatted with us for a few minutes. The vibe is good, a few televisions to watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup on, friendly service, good KBBQ, and a nice dinner experience. Solid for AYCE Korean BBQ. Parking in the shared lot is valet only but is super affordable, the ambiance is decidedly k-town, and the food is pretty much exactly what you'd expect for kbbq. Pork jowl, beef brisket, and beef belly all pretty good this visit, the beef tongue was also good but not quite as generous in cut. Banchan was not the biggest spread but did the job, and the dduk (rice wrap) were available if you asked. They weren't full when we were there, but service, while good, did seem a little harried - guessing like everywhere they are short staffed? 3.5 stars but rounding up seems more fair than rounding down, especially given the price is still reasonable. read more

This was my second time at this restaurant. The last time was 2/5/20! (6 years ago). The gang from work wanted an AYCE Korean BBQ, IN KOREA TOWN, that was reasonably priced with great food and easy parking. So, I recommended going here. THIS IS THE PLACE!!! THE PLACE!!! We were 7 adult women from a top medical practice in Century City ... nurses, managers, one of our practitioners ... two of them brought their daughter (under 5 yo). Our cars were valet parked for $3 each on a Friday night. The owner, herself, greeted us as we arrived (I had called earlier and said there would be 10 total and we'd need one high chair). They were ready! One server (I didn't catch his name) was in super-hustle mode ... bringing food out quickly, getting everyone beverages, apple juice for the kids, he kept replenishing both grill tables we occupued with whatever was needed; more kimchi, more rice, more meats - he was paying attention! Everything was super fresh. No one had even the slightest complaint. Bulgogi, Brisket, Shrimp, Octopus ... you name it! We threw it on the grill. My favorite was the Spicy Bulgogi!! A few extras were ordered ... like the steamed egg for a few people, and a soup for one. Everything was perfect! We made things simple for ourselves and the restaurant and put the entire tab on one credit card. With tax and included 18% gratuity the two kids were $18 each ... and the 7 adults split the remainder equally ($52 each). $398 total for 9 very well-fed people!! I offered an additional cash tip because I felt 18% was too low for the WONDERFUL SERVICE we received. The owner kept insisting it was unnecessary ... I insisted it was. Originally from NYC (I used to love Kang-Suh), I have been living in L.A for 22 years. This restaurant is THE REAL DEAL ... culturally on-point (traditional Korean), Quality foods, SUPER FRIENDLY, hard-working staff. The price is ridiculously unpretentious and reasonable. They can accommodate large groups (reserve first) and are kid-friendly. This really needs to be recognized as a top go-to for great Korean food. STOP YOUR SEARCH AND GO HERE TONIGHT!! This review is about two weeks overdue, but honestly, the whole experience was amazing and went well above my expectations. We loved everything about it. The meat quality is better than most KBBQ spots I've had around Ktown, and I don't say that lightly. For two years straight I tried a new KBBQ every single week, so I know what I'm talking about. This place has officially made my top 4, and I'll happily bring any group here for a great time. The only thing I'd suggest is adding pitcher options for beer. That said, they do have large beers, soju, and wine. Their steamed egg is made traditionally and tastes nothing like the plain, flavorless version most other KBBQs serve. And their rice wine is incredible! We actually received one as a gift from the owner, who took the time to talk with us about the restaurant's history. She was warm, friendly, and made the whole place feel like home. I know Moodaepo is right across the street. I have a few friends and coworkers who used to work at Wii-KBBQ and moved over to Moodaepo a few years ago, and yes, the servers there are nice. The atmosphere at Moodaepo is great for a big group that wants to drink and have fun, but that's really all it has going for it. Take it from someone who has lived in Ktown her whole life and hit up KBBQ spots every week for over two years: 7th Korean KBBQ has better meat quality, better service, and better prices. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even allowed my service dog to come inside and sit right next to us. That level of kindness and accommodation really meant a lot. So glad we ended up here! They accommodated a party of 6 as a walk in and was seated in 5 minutes. The hospitality we received from Jennifer and the rest of the staff was undeniably amazing. There's a ton of other kbbq spots in this area, but come here. You won't regret it! We ordered AYCE at $34.99/per person and while they offer a premium option for a bit more, we really stick to brisket & bulgogi mainly. Sometimes pork belly. We felt adventurous and got an order of octopus and even that was good! Jennifer and a male staff took excellent care of us, laid the meats on the grills for us and instructed to wait a bit longer for the octopus to cook. The banchan variety was excellent with kimchi, salad, radish, pickled bean sprouts, pasta salad, and glass noodles. The steamed egg was yummy, and the dipping sauces went well with the meats. Ask for the spicy sauce! This spot is well lit, inviting, and the ventilation a good. I think the only con is there is only 1 restroom. All you can eat options are good, but we ordered a combo that said it fed 4-5 people, and that combo FILLED US UP! Had to unbuckle and everything, but it was soooo yummy. The meat is good quality, and the banchans were good. They have rice paper, which is a must for me. Yummy mac salad, yummy japchae, and super yummy cucumber kimchi--probably my favorite one. I also found it strange that instead of marinating the spicy meats, they just poured a bit of sauce over the top, and not even enough to cover everything evenly. They take cash and card. No idea if they take tap, but just call or possibly other reviews might mention it. Service is 10/10. They are always friendly and fast. An older Korean lady served us and shared a couple laughs too. The banchan is always yummy and good variety which includes macaroni salad, cucumber kimchi, kimchi, mung bean sprout, pickled radish, and pickled radish with jalapeno (Jangajji), but I might be forgetting something else too. We were also served a salad, soup, dipping sauce and our choice of rice or rice paper. The meats we ordered this time were the basics: beef brisket, beef belly, pork belly, and bulgogi. I enjoy their quality thin cuts and not overly sweet bulgogi. After reading another review, sounds like their meats butcher standard, which makes sense! This is the only KBBQ I have been to that serves you a nice little refresher at the end of your meal; a sweet cinnamon and ginger drink. I love having this every time! Tasty and refreshing. It's my first time here and I will definitely come back. My experience was all sorts of deliciousness. Since it's an ayce kbbq, we all got the cheapest deal but it hits the spot. We all loved the thin and non marinated meats but beef belly is the best. Then the pork jowl is on point too. All the other meats are thick and take a longer time to cook and that's not my style to cook that long. Their sauce pair well with all the meats. The nuna (staffs) there took care of us with our orders then they give us little items here and there to try. They noticed my napkin as a bib so they got an actual bib instead.
