I absolutely loved my experience here, I used to have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist in the past, but from booking to check out I felt like my needs and comfort were always priority with Tend. This location is so convenient, right off of the red line. Big shout out to Jen for making me feel at ease and thoroughly talking through all of my concerns, her kindness and professionalism was the perfect start to my day! I genuinely can't wait to go to the dentist again!

Everything I've been waiting for in a dentist! Tend is the One Medical of dentistry - but even more modern. It felt seamless from making an appointment and understanding what it would cost me (spoiler - nothing!) to checking in, understanding how it works, getting care, and walking through what was next. They've got Warby Parker sunglasses to minimize lighting, dedicated space for your stuff, ceiling TVs, mounted TVs with your personalized information (including the ability to see your tooth pics!), and state of the art technology. Oh, and everyone I interacted with was awesome!

I found out about Tend via TikTok and knew i had to look into it. I've been looking for a new dental experience and this seemed up my alley. The lobby greets you with their friendly staff and amazing decor. My hygienist, Erin, met me in the lobby. She made me feel comfortable and walked me through how things were going to go. She was very kind and overall gentle during the cleaning. They use new technology for X-rays and some new equipment that didn't seem so "archaic" that made I hadn't seen before and was pretty neat. I watched some Netflix while I was lying down (with some Ray Ban-esque sunglasses on). I'm so glad I have a dental office that I look forward to visiting because it feels so "trendy" lol.

I am a college student in Boston. Fortunately, I am still in the 'no cavity' club, but I do need two wisdom teeth removed once I am back home miles from here. However, one of the teeth decided to shift causing me painful fits. I have such a workload these next few weeks to close out the semester and now suddenly this. I did a quick search, found Tend - Kendall. At 8am, I requested an online emergency appt. I was scheduled for 12:50pm same day. Got a text message there's a glitch with my insurance. Called the office. Oops, user entry error. Got that sorted. Tried to arrive 10min early but Boston traffic pushed that a bit. I was given a dental care kit in a nice zipper bag. Nice looking office. The staff was caring about my pain and treated me very well. The amazing doctor took care of me explained my options. On my way to the drugstore for a little Rx and bam just 5 hours later and life is much less painful. Thank you very much, Tend - Kendall. A great outcome for this college student being thrown this adulting experience.

5th phone call. 30 min and no help!

His office is difficult to deal with administratively (at best). Technologically, they're stuck in the 1980's, both in dental equipment and office equipment. His hours are limited, even more so in the summer. And I always walk away from a session with the dental hygienist feeling like my mouth has gone five rounds with Mike Tyson, and with the same condescending, rote lecture about flossing more, every. single. time. When I left I asked for my dental records to show to my new dentist. They emailed them three days later, which was fine, except I asked for them to post my x-rays to me as well and it's been five weeks of me emailing every week and *not once* have they bothered to even respond, let alone post the x-rays. I paid for those x-rays. But no f*cks have been given, as far as I can tell. Probably for the best. My new dentist has uncovered multiple cavities that Dr. Depremio's office completely overlooked, as well as replaced my one silver filling, which was roughly three decades old and should apparently have been replaced after the first decade. Something pretty damn obvious to a competent and engaged dentist - you would think.

After he left, I continued going to Cambridgeside Dental Associates and became a patient of Dr. Khalil. I remained Dr. Khalil's patient for decades and, during that time, had several root canals. I always trusted the practice until I began receiving treatment estimates ranging from $8,000 to $10,000. I complained about a back tooth that had already had a root canal, and Dr. Khalil informed me that I needed another one. For years, I had been saving money to improve the appearance of my front tooth, and once again I was told that I would most likely need root canals on my front teeth as well. At that point, I decided to seek a second opinion from another dentist. I was told there was nothing wrong with my back tooth. I have since had my front teeth treated, and they look great -- without needing any root canals. The cost was about one-third (or less) of the original estimate. Additionally, it was discovered that I had an infection that required surgery and had never been identified. I ultimately had to see an oral surgeon for proper treatment. I would also like to mention that there seems to be frequent turnover among the hygienists and front desk staff. Over the years, I met many different hygienists, and the office staff has changed repeatedly, which I find concerning. I do not typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience so that others will consider seeking a second opinion when presented with treatment plans costing many thousands of dollars.
