Service is the worst. Internet is unreliable. No one answers the phone, keeping me on hold for 30 minutes or more.

My experience with Tengonet is that it has virtually no bandwidth. But then, it was a "free trial".

Tengo Internet is the internet provider for the RV park I live in. My family uses the park wifi with an extension, but even then the quality is abysmal. It is nowhere near reliable, & I can't even use my VPN a lot of the time, because it tends to slow my internet down. We have frequent internet outages that can last for hour on end, as well. Most of the time, my download speed is only a few hundred killabytes per second. And if Im lucky, I get maybe a few megabytes per second. If I a buy a game for myself, it often takes several days just to download & install it. Matiainence at the RV park knows about the frequent internet outages, & a lot of people staying here have complained about the internet quality. Honestly, I'm starting to think the only reason they keep using tengo internet is because they're on a tight budget & stuck with them. read more

Absolute waste of $29.95 for a month of relatively slow internet that drops me sometimes after only a minute, other times works for an hour. It was offered at the RV park we are staying in. I have had to log in up to 30 times a day after being tossed off. I will also be pointing this out in my RV park review. Better than nothing, if you are low on cell data - but don expect much. read more

These guys live up to all of the negative comments in previous posts and then some. Weak signal, constant buffering, constant dropped connections. I some times have to use the tether feature on my I-phone just to establish a connection, switch back to tango. Add to this the rudest customer service I have ever experienced and you have the worst provider in the industry. I don't know why the RV parks will not pay for better service. Whatever this park is paying for this no-service, they are being ripped off. read more

Staying at a RV park and this is the only wifi provided and advertised by the park. Was supposed to be 3 days for free - the length of our stay - but less than 24 hours after signing up and logging on, the network kicked us off and demanded that we sign up again for a paid plan. Bait and switch BS - I'll use my hotspot forever before I'll ever touch TengoInternet again! Buyer beware - run away from these crooks! read more

Tengo provides the internet for the RV park we are in. For $35 a month you can get better, more reliable internet. Nope! I have to sign in multiple times a day. It is hit or miss. Sometimes my download speeds are less than 10kbs. It can take forever to download a book to my Kindle. And it keeps cutting out. Park manager told me that paying the monthly fee meant better service and that visiting medical people use it to do online patient visits. I don't see how that would work if theirs is as bad as mine. Think I will take my chances with the free crappy service and save my money. read more

Horrible internet. Go with T mobile or someone you can contact. Tango can not reset or fix remotely.. everything is done through RV office. If they are closed for weekend or holiday. NO INTERNET. This is our 2nd weekend this month. And streaming is very slow. read more

I mistakenly signed up for 7 days of 'premium' service. I never ever was able to log in. I called the company to get a refund. I got exactly 1/7. The only reason this company got one start is zeros stars is not an option. read more

Works about 50% 0f the time. Seems to work fine early to mid morning then off and on again the rest of the day. When it does work the speed is barely enough to maintain 480dpi movie streaming with regular buffering pauses. read more

We are full-time RVers. Unfortunately TengoInternet is used by a number of RV parks. Wherever we encounter TengoInternet, we know that the internet service will very unreliable. Service outages ranges from hours to multiple days. Of all the parks we visit, and talking with other RVers, this is the number one complaint - "lousy unreliable service from TengoInternet". I understand that they are a real low budget operation, and really don't seem to care about their level of service as long as the bill is paid. In talking with other RVers throughout the US, and reading reviews, this is very common complaint against Tengo. All the reviews here are exactly correct, I agree. Poor service. They will not return your calls, ever. Slow service, with multiple excuses. $39.99 per month wasted. $149 set up fee wasted. This is the worst service I have ever experienced as an end user. Paid for 3 months worth of "high speed" 20 mbp up and 20 mbp down and I get less than 1. Have called now over 15 times to talk to customer support to which nothing ever gets accomplished and nothing gets fixed. They say it's above their pay grade and they will push it to a "supervisor". Weather they do or not, I have no idea because they say they are going to fix the issue, but after 4 months now, nothing is fixed. I can't even surf websites on my laptop. I cannot get my phone to use it, and when I'm streaming on my Apple TV, I get to watch a show for about 4.5 minutes before it buffers for 10. This company is a scam, don't waste your money. If you want higher speed internet, buy a 56kbs modem and use dialup, it's way faster. read more

Tengo net is ridiculously slow. I own a lot in an RV resort. They have basically cut a deal with the owners of the park to throttle our speeds to the equivalent of dial up. The owners get a rebate on the bloated cost we ate charged at year end. Tech support is a 3 star. They answer the calls and have to put up with the complaints. Worst ISP I have ever experienced. They have contracts with several RV parks in Houston area and we unfortunately stayed at a park for a month that used Tengo Internet. The internet in Mexico and Costa Rica is much better. Tengo Internet is not fast enough to even stream video via hbo go or Netflix. It was basically dial up speeds. What a terrible ISP! I cant believe companies have contracts with this business. Must be extremely cheap. read more

I spent weeks trying to work with this company! After hours on the phone and multiple trouble tickets placed I was told there is nothing else they can do. They advertised 20 Mbps but the fastest speed I got was 17 mbps and it lasted 6 minutes. The rest of the time, my speed sat around 2 mbps. When I asked for a refund they said, since I was able to download at any speed, they would only give me a refund for the days unused. Regardless of the fact that the speeds never came anywhere close to the advertised speed besides the 6 minutes I spoke of. Over two months I worked with them to try to get the speed up and I get a few dollars back for the unused days. Unacceptable!!! I went to my cell provider and got a device that delivers the speed Tango advertised without the hassle. It cost a little more than Tango, but it is far more reliable! Not to mention the horrific customer service that I recieved for the weeks I tried to work with Tango. Save yourself the frustration and get a device that will work without the headache. This internet and customer service is not worth the money let alone the time or headache. I recieved better internet and customer service while deployed to a third word country! read more

We have stayed at the Phoenix RV Metro Park for the last four months and the Tengo internet service has been TERRIBLE from day one. We tried the free service at first and well, you can guess the reliability of free service. So, I paid the $30.00 a month hoping to receive better internet service and guess what, it was the same as the free service, ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! For the life of me I cannot comprehend how a business like this, with all the bad reviews and TERRIBLE service, stays in business. Mostly I will blame the owners of the RV parks because they keep them in business. RV parks owners WAKE UP and get internet service providers that provide reliable and good service. We are in the 21st century and the internet is a no longer a new thing, it is an essential portion of everyday life!! Yes, you are going to have to pay more but you will have more satisfied customers!! Also, this park takes absolutely NO ownership for the TERRIBLE SERVICE. You are as much to blame as Tengo! They just refer you to Tengo. Tengo then always makes excuses like having to reboot their routers, yada yada, yada. Service still remains TERRIBLE. RV park owners, you are the customer and you should demand better service you are subscribing to for your customers and hold Tengo accountable. Quit keeping companies like this in business just because you want to save a few dollars and provide terrible service to your customers. I guarantee you do not use Tengo as your internet provider and if you do you are not using the same one as your park customers! If you still wish to continue your subscription to this TERRIBLE COMPANY make demands on them to step up and provide the service expected. RV park owners and Tengo have mutual culpability in this. We travel extensively, both domestic and international, and have found Tengo Internet to be the absolute worse service we have encountered...the first poster, Fred C is spot-on....their systems are poorly designed and badly installed with inadequate equipment....the worse part is that they make no effort to correct these shortcomings as they have a contract in their favor.,.we now inquire, and if a park has Tengo, we prefer to use another, and we inform them why. read more

They are the worse internet provider that I have ever seen. They always say a line is down. And they blame the owners of the rv park for not having enough towers. Really???? We currently live in Biloxi, MS in an RV. We are moving, due to the lies between the park owners and the Tengo Internet company in Texas !!!!!!! Tengo Internet is ironically named since it means "I have internet" in Spanish but more often than not, Yo no tengo internet. It goes down ALL the time. The service is incredibly slow and unreliable, and that's when it's "working." If you own or manage an RV park please, please do not use them for your internet service even if it's cheaper. Their sevice is atrocious and even when it's completely their fault it can take them a couple weeks to fix an outage which means you're paying for a lot of service people can't actually use. You'll just end up with angry campers, especially in a park with monthly spots for fulltimers. read more

Very poor service here in Polson, I called support and they were very distracted and unable to help me. My issue was passed along to a supervisor who never called me back. I purchased the upgraded plan of which we did not come close to receiving the bandwidth they advertised. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Avoid this company if you can. read more

Im giving it 2 Stars because it does "work". I've had better connection service from public libraries and dial up back in the 90's......but Tengo does "work". I would definately NOT use this for important work. If their sales rep came to my door and offered me some great price drop, I would definitely be laughing hysterically while closing the door on the rep. I cannot give them one star because I am staying at an RV campsite in Portland Oregon. I didnt stay here specifically for the Internet, but it was one of the enticing offers among others. There's no way in hell I would consider giving Tengo 4 or 5 stars just because I did get online. You can slowly surf the web, check emails and view some minor stuff, but the inconsistency of the feed makes it impossible to do more. So, in conclusion, Tengo Internet sucks but does work for tiny shit. read more

We used Tengointernet at New Smyrna Beach RV Resort, in New Smyrna, Florida, in January 2016. We were very pleased with how quick the internet was, and that it was free to the residents at this RV Resort. It was a real treat to have fast, efficient internet at our site.
