    KBBQ PORK BELLY SPICY SALMON

I've had their onigiri twice now, it's ok... the rice and seasoning is good, they're made fresh and the nori is crispy. There's a lot of filling. My only issue is they need a sauce, sauces cost extra but don't really set it off.

Grab some for late snacks. Parking was abit challenge since it's Sunday and a lot of families are outing. Easy order over kiosks, menu is small with plenty of choices for topping/filling. Cost wise is reasonable and quality is fresh and well seasoned. The place is clean and well organized, plenty of community seatings both indoor and outdoor.

First time trying Tenori, and I'd definitely go back again. It's located within the Hanger food court in LB. I ordered at the little tablets at the counter and my order was ready and called out within 5 minutes. Staff was friendly I picked the KKBQ and Pork Belly Onigiri's which were both yummy, the pork belly had a nice flavor, while was kbbq was more muted in flavor. I bought an eel sauce ($1) to have with them on the side. Rice was soft and the nori was a good texture biting through. Parking: there's parking lots surrounding the Hanger and other adjacent shops, bathrooms near the Kroft food spot, and lots of seating areas inside and out. My only small issue is the price of the Lychee Lemonade at $4.50. Only because at the Rodeo 39 location they sell it for the same price but in a much larger size so it feels like a good deal (I can even split the lemonade in two to share) . I'd be happy to pay $3.50 for a bottled lemonade

You know a place is bomb when they have ONE item! There is different protein options but it still is essential the one thing. Service is very "modern" as in you order on a tablet and interact with no one. You can ask them questions and even possibly pay with them but that is unknown to me seeing as I only used the tablet. The price per ball/triangle? ($4.00) it's wrapped with a sheet of seaweed and has seasoning called furikake on top. The place is located inside an "eatery" called "The LBX Hangar". The area is high volume during peak hours because there are multiple vendors in the same building. I HIGHLY recommend getting at least one of each three sauces. I got SIX of these rice balls because I couldn't decide and man was I FULL when I was done! Probably do 3 for a regular day and 4 if I'm hungry. I got spicy salmon, spicy tuna, tuna with mayo, KBBQ, pork belly and honey shrimp. All were fantastic!!! Definitely coming here again!

Good spot for quick and delicious bites! Originally tried this at Rodeo 39, and I'm so glad there's a location in LBX now. This visit I got the spicy salmon, spicy tuna, regular tuna with mayo, pork belly, and KBBQ. Loved them all but would say my top choices would be the spicy salmon and the tuna options! Even though ordering is through a self-serve kiosk, the worker was still kind enough to ask if i had any questions. Overall, recommend!

First time trying this type of dish. I've always when it in the anime's I watch. The rice was cooked perfectly as well as the meat that they stuffed these in. Overall very tasty. The service was quick! Lady at the front desk was nice. Ambiance is at the lbx eating outside is very relaxing. It's also very clean. Highly recommended this place.

Came here two days previously, and returned. This second time around we got more for others in our party. Everybody enjoyed them. For us it's not a meal on its own but a great appetizer. Can't really go wrong and a nice snack as we waited for our meals from other restaurants in the food hall. Worth pointing out that all three kids in our group ate their onigiri without any trouble. This is despite two of them being notoriously picky eaters.

I was at The Hangar with some relatives and Tenori caught my eye. When I asked my family, they said they definitely recommended it if I wanted to give it a try. At one of the kiosks, I ordered a spicy salmon and a spicy tuna. I waited to the side and after a few short minutes, my order was ready to go. Once I was seated, I dug into my food. It was soooo good! The fillings had a perfect flavor + texture as well as the rice. The food didn't last very long since I ate it all right away. I also bought a side of eel sauce which complimented everything really well. The overall experience of ordering and enjoying the food was very quick and easy! What I expected when I ordered is exactly what I got. If you happen to be around Tenori, I would definitely recommend it!

The Vibe: Fast, easy, and the perfect high-quality "to-go" spot. (touch screen order at the counter) The Order: Spam & KBBQ (It's a best-seller for a reason!) * Lychee Lemonade The Value: About $13-$14 for the pair and the drink. Really fair price for how delicious and filling it is. Pro-Tip: If you're a sauce person, they have a many that look great but I skipped this time around, I'm eyeing the fish caviar and the spicy tuna for my next visit. #LongBeachEats #LBX #Tenori #Onigiri #QuickBite #LBFoodie

Please make sure if you order to go to check your order this is the second time I have items missing from my orders. I called several times to see what can be done about this and it's always "oh the manager is not here" or "we will call you back" and they never do. I placed an order to go on Monday called the same day and was told this then I called Tuesday I get the same answer it's now Wednesday and again I get the same thing repeated. I just want my money back! I'll be attaching pictures for proof.

I have been on an onigiri kick lately. I was having a day date in Long Beach and decided to check this place out. Tenori is located in the Hangar food hall. They do have other locations around the OC area. We were able to get parking rather easily and there are plenty of seats and tables. We went with the 3 pack of onigiri. We ordered two pork belly and one spicy salmon. I really enjoy the pork belly. It had a good amount of pork belly stuff between the rice. The flavors were great. I like the way the rice was cooked and how they added the seasoning and seaweed for the added crunch. We both agree, we would come back for the pork belly. The spicy salmon was okay. It was more fishy but I did enjoy the extra kick of spice. Overall, if you're cravings for onigiri or just a light snack or meal, this is a spot to hit up.

Tenori is the absolute best!! I've tried a handful of different onigiri places and Tenori is hands down my favorite. I first tried Tenori at Rodeo 39 in Stanton and loved it, so I was excited to see that a new location opened inside The Hanger at the Long Beach Exchange. A great thing about these locations is that they're inside a food hall which opens up more options for you to get a variety of food. There's also ample seating and clean bathrooms. I like to get the 3-pack and mix up the proteins. I've tried every protein on the menu and I think my favorites are Tuna Mayo, Spicy Tuna, and Pork Belly. The Mentaiko is very flavorful but also very spicy!! Some of my friends argue it doesn't taste very fresh. They have self-ordering kiosks that make ordering really quick and easy. I've never waited more than 10 minutes for my order! Definitely check this place out at least once if you're a big onigiri fan.

Perfect handheld snacks to bring to the beach. We particularly like the spicy salmon, kbbq, and pork belly. They are $4.50/ea. Wish they have specials - ie. 6 for $24

Its a small place, and it wasn't overly busy. Its likely that it was a slow night and server #2 appeared to be socializing with some friends seated at another table. In other news, I don't understand the hype over the Wagyu. In my opinion, it was oddly greasy but overcooked. No one asked how I like my steak - which is fine if that's customary in Japanese cuisine - but the end result simply missed the mark. However, I want to add that the owner was absolutely lovely! He made me a drink that resembled an Old Fashioned, and it was delicious. I can tell the owner truly cares about his restaurant - and for that reason - I'm willing to come back and try something different.

While curry is their specialty they have other items such as udon, teriyaki, and donburi bowls as well as a few typical appetizers such as tempura and karaage. The restaurant is not very big but has a fair amount of tables. Its style has a mix of modern and traditional Japanese elements with lofi music playing in the background. We were given a friendly welcome upon entering and the service was great. We started with the mixed tempura which was light and crispy - a perfect starter that won't fill you up. For dinner we tried the beef curry and chicken katsu curry. Both were delicious. I had the chicken katsu. I really liked the breading as it was light and crispy - not too thick or greasy. The sauce was also rich and flavorful. I made it a combo which includes miso soup and a salad of choice. I selected the cucumber salad which was a little sweet but refreshing with the meal. I hope to try their donburi next.

I called it in on a lazy Tuesday after hiking. Food didn't take that long but I like that there was a wait because I know it'll be freshly made. When I walked into the restaurant to pick up my order, inside was cozy and I noticed that it was pretty busy for a late Tuesday lunch. A really nice young woman who rang me up and handed me my bag of goods. When I got home, I was pleased to see that they had separated the Katsu from the curry sauce, so my meat didn't end up being soggy. Their curry sauce is different from most curry houses. There are some herbs in it that I can't put my finger on, but I love it because it's not like any of the others. Chicken was juicy and rice was fluffy. I also like their kizami ginger which had a nice solid crunch. Even though it took me a while to pick up my food, it was still nice and warm when I sat down to eat it. Very happy with the presentation and the flavour. We'll try to visit and eat at the restaurant next time. Parking lot is small and can get a little crowded with all the other businesses open. But there is also street parking available. Also, because it's a Japanese restaurant, they are not open on Mondays.
