    Do they have fried rice?

They said that because it is Epcot, they want to be culturally accurate as possible. Since fried rice is a Chinese dish, the China pavilion has it on their menu and Japan specializes in sushi

How long is the dining experience if I have reservation at 7? From sit down to finish. Thanks in advance. Trying to coordinate fast pass plans :)

I would give yourself a good amount of time. I've been eating there for 5 years and they never have my table ready at my reservation time. It may take up to 15min to seat you. I would give it 2hrs to 2 1/2. Remember it's a shared table so it also… Read more

Can you get the kids steak without the teriyaki sauce on it as it states in the menu?

Yes, all meat is cooked without any seasoning and they add or don't as you wish. They cook in front of your eyes

I was very disappointed with our experience at Takumi-Tei. For a dinner costing over $650, I expected a true sushi omakase experience focused on raw fish. Instead, nearly every course was cooked, with only one piece of raw fish served. I consider myself to be an adventurous eater; however, had it been made clear beforehand, I would not have even considered booking this experience. The service also did not match the quality advertised. Our server disappeared for about 45 minutes, and despite asking multiple times, we could not get assistance. There were additional long delays before the final courses and before receiving the check. When the bill arrived, we were charged for something we had been told was included, and the interaction made us feel uncomfortable rather than accommodated. At the end of the evening, we were also stopped from leaving because an introduction was taking place. After spending over three hours there, we simply wanted to leave, especially after such a disappointing experience overall. Overall, the evening felt poorly managed and did not reflect the level of quality or hospitality expected at this price point. After the extended delays throughout the night, being prevented from leaving created an unnecessarily frustrating end to the experience and left us feeling agitated for hours afterward, which should not happen at this level of dining. I would have preferred the fantastic fish and chips in England for under $40 for two people. :)

We got the 7 course dinner with some drinks along side it. The meal was very big! We were expecting it to be normal omakase and not feel full but we were pleasantly pleased to leave stuffed! Our server was wonderful and they made the birthday experience well worth!

This week on my birthday, a friend of mine booked Morimoto's and we went after work. It's near Gideon's and across from the former Sprinkles Cupcakes location. We checked in early and they were able to seat us quickly at a table. The restaurant has an open kitchen concept - the staff explained that the kitchen is split into different stations, which means the food comes out as it's prepared fresh from each station. My friend went with the monthly special dish and cocktail. I chose the tonkotsu ramen and we shared the ribs for the appetizer. Food came out quickly and it was all fresh and delicious. Ribs were tender and well seasoned without being too salty or overpowering in any way. Tonkotsu ramen had good flavor and was on par with other ramens I've had other places. Pricing varies based on the dishes, but it is possible to find something here for everyone. Our waitress was very on top of things and she made sure we had enough water. She even made sure my friend got her credit for the monthly dish, as they have a stamp and passport event going on where trying the monthly dish guarantees you a stamp in their passport thing, which can be redeemed for prizes later on. In terms of parking, you could pick any of the lots of park in. Closest options would be Lime or Orange garage in terms of walking length.

Very good! My…read morehusband and I were in town for a mini vacation to celebrate his birthday and of course while we're on vacation we have to find the most amazing places to dine. I did a quick Google search as well as a Yelp search and this place came up and the reviews were fairly well first of all I love Hibachi so I'm gamed to try every Hibachi place in the world nevertheless I did call to make reservations but I believe during this certain time of the year which was I think it was a Labor Day weekend or the weekend before Labor Day... Nevertheless reservations weren't needed but I did make them just in case. We arrived via Uber which was a quick 10 minute ride from our stay from the Sheraton Vistana. We walked in was greeted immediately and overall everything was a 10 out of 10. I don't think I have any complaints if you love Hibachi and love the family style sit around type thing around the Hibachi Grill definitely check this place out very chic very picturesque. Seems like it's very clean as wel! I highly recommend this spot. If we're ever back in town I think we're going to definitely stop by here again and dine. I almost forgot I told them that we were celebrating my husband's birthday and the chef from our experience ended our night with a fluffy cupcake a one candle lit... Those at our table sung happy birthday to him it was super duper sweet and I love when restaurants do this...such a cherry on top of a great dining experience! Have fun and enjoy life :)

So I've been told for years to come here as it's the best of the best hibachi and now after this…read morevisit I can safely say that the place we had been going to before it closed was just sooo much better! First off I must address the elephant in the room their manager Tony who likes to stand in the archway between the dinning rooms and send text messages like it's going out of style, then after he was done with one of his texting sessions I watched him use not a very nice and kinda demeaning tone to one of the employees to go tell them to do something and let me say I noticed this across the table through a cooking chef so it would seem that he isn't very nice and if that weren't enough at the end of our meal our wonderful server Sammie was talking to us and she totally made our visit and was very friendly mid conversation with her Tony comes up and then she stopped in sentence and like walked away as Tony came up I said that she made our visit and he could clearly careless as he then put this QR code in front of me and told me to do a google review I replied I don't do that I use Yelp and that instantly made him get real short with me and walk away, so needless to say that guy has some serious issues as a manager and I feel bad for his staff because it definitely seems like he's one of those managers you don't wanna have. While I might be totally wrong about this as I don't work here and I've only been here once that's just what I noticed what I saw and the energy that I felt. So our food was good but I must say it was just typical hibachi and let's start with the onion soup it was ok kinda bland and needed more mushroom, the salad was good but they didn't give us very much as the server walked away with a very full bowl from a large table, my fried rice and veggies were good but mostly tasted like garlic butter, my steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and flavorful definitely the better part of the mean but I found it strange that my steak came with a few pieces of potato's I've never seen this before at hibachi and they I had to ask them for ginger sauce for my shrimp as I guess they don't give it out. My hot sake and Kirin were both yummy and I just say the hot sake bottle was on the smaller side but it wasn't over priced so that part definitely added to the night! Our chef was good he didn't do anything out of the normal stuff just the regular the heart beat the egg trick and the volcano but it's all good a basic ambiance is fun sometimes too! Overall food was decent but definitely something that didn't leave an impression on me as other hibachi restaurants have, that mixed with what we noticed go on I wouldn't come back especially with soo much competition in the area I'd rather go there!

One of Epcot's best! Impressive (almost never ending) meal…read moreand beautiful view overlooking the Japan pavilion and fireworks! The menu pricing has incredible value. You can order à la carte or with their $65 prefix menu. Now get this: the prefix meal includes an appetizer, side of sushi, entree, dessert, AND a cocktail/mocktail. The portions are almost ridiculously large. My appetizer (chicken nanban) was so large I had completely forgotten my entree was yet to arrive given how full I was from both the appetizer and sushi. Our server commented that this was a consistent observation with guests who dine there. I went with my family and as a large group we were able to try multiple menu items, all of which were outstandingly delicious. Try the chicken nanban and the violet sake! The kids meals are very picky eater friendly - the cute bento boxes had an assortment of chicken and fruit that the kids loved. You'll enjoy everything here. From the soft buttery sushi to the Japanese pancake (often referred to as Japanese pizza). The environment is collected, calm, and relaxing. The service was genuine and welcoming, and they stay very on top of refilling drinks and clearing used plates. They also have great recommendations if you have a difficult time deciding your meal choices. The environment in Shiki-Sai is a noticeable contrast to the sister restaurant Teppan Edo (which offers hibachi) across the hall. While Shiki-Sai was open, peaceful, and inviting, Teppan Edo was quite noisy, cramped, and the air felt warm. You can notice these differences walking past the restaurant to the shared bathrooms at the end of the building. As the occasion was to celebrate a birthday, we felt we had made the right choice. I have visited nearly all of Epcot's restaurants, and this ranks in my top 3! Will definitely visit again and again.
