This place is a shit hole, literally. Servers are very rude. I brought my own pH balanced water (I don't drink water from restaurant pipes) and asked for a cup of ice. I poured my water out and the bottle was on the table beside me. I kept hearing bickering about me bringing an outside drink into the restaurant but it was just water. One server came up to me asking if my water was alcohol; are you serious? I told her it was just water but if she wants to take the cup and throw it out and could, since it was such a big deal to them. Anywhoo, the food was very cold. Service was horrible. I was not able to even eat at this place. We called ahead since we had a party of 11 and they stated they had seating for all, once we walked through the door we were told to wait for the table to be cleaned. Then this lady who stated she was the manager and refused to give me her name proceeded to tell my father that his service dog could not be in the restaurant and that if she was to allow it he would have to be sitting under the table, my father responded that the dog is VA trained by professionals and that he is aware of what and where his service animal needed to be. She kept on repeating herself loudly and even when I intervened to diffuse the situation, and tried to take her aside she was being rude and clearly didn't want the dog in the restaurant. Another great lunch at this buffet. I can always get those delicious veggies and hubby can get his sushi . My first course was the spicy tofu soup. Yummy to the tummy. Next were those cooked to perfection veggies . The green beans crispy crunchy, veggie rice, marinated mushrooms ,cucumber salad , onion carrot salad , baked potato, sea weed salad, veggie lo mein . I had a little bit of those items and then for desert a slice of water melon and honey dew . Hubby had the spring rolls , sushi and egg drop soup. We ate all of this for under 20 dollars . After running a few errands, I came here for the $7.25 lunch buffet. Teppanyaki is a very large buffet restaurant that caters in Chinese, Japanese, Hibachi, and American cuisine. They also have a wide selection of sushi. The restaurant had a clean, modern oriental décor with plenty of table & booth seating for the customers. Upon entering the restaurant, I was warmly greeted by the hostess who quickly seated me at a booth. As soon as one of the servers brought me my choice of drink, I grabbed a plate and helped myself to the buffet. There was a variety of foods, which are too numerous to mention, to choose from; and it all was neatly displayed & labeled so you knew what you were eating. After 3 plates, I had my fill of chicken & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, roasted potatoes, fried dumplings, teriyaki chicken, honey chicken, barbecue pork, vegetable lo mein, chicken stick, sweet donut, and sweet plantains, which was cooked to my satisfaction.The vegetable fried rice was alright, but it looked more like Spanish rice than fried rice. I mean the rice was yellow. Isn't fried rice supposed to be brown? I wish I could have eaten some California Roll sushi and a few items from the dessert section, but my stomach was full to capacity. Really 3 1/2 stars. The food is on par with many other Asian buffets but it is much less expensive than other comparable Asian buffets: 10.99/adults & 5.99/kids for dinner. Lunch is $7.25. My first impression of the place was that it is huge! There are at least 8 different stations for food, plus the Hibachi Grill. All the dishes are labeled clearly except the sushi. The choices concentrate mostly on Chinese food. There are several stations with Chinese favorites like Sesame Chicken, Spicy Shrimp, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, General Tso's Chicken, Sautéed String Beans, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, Boneless Spare Ribs, etc. I would say the taste and quality of these items are average to good.....nothing spectacular. My favorite items were on the Soup/Dumpling station. The Egg Drop Soup was fine. I did not like that the wontons were in a dumpling bin on the side so they tasted a little sticky. However, did like the dumplings, including the Pan Fried and Shumai. The Shumai was labelled as Shrimp but it did not taste like shrimp to me. I think it was beef or pork. I would like to have seen some shrimp dumplings. I even tried the taro and egg custard dumplings which were slightly sweet and very good. As with most huge buffets there was a station with an enormous array of fried foods and pizza....I did not touch that station. The only one of us who did touch it was 12 year old who got some pizza and said it was not good. There is also a salad station and a dessert station. One of the smaller stations is for Sushi. I found it strange that none of the sushi was labelled. There is a sushi chef right there churning out a limited selection of rolls and nigiri. I tried a piece of a veggie roll and the rice was a bit hard. Honestly, I would not come here for sushi. For sushi buffet I would pay the extra money to go to Shinju. The place looked very clean and the staff was very nice. The food is not gourmet but hey, it is a decent, quick place to feed a family of four for less than forty bucks! read more

These people eat a lot of food and I doubt if I have been able to make a full dinner at home for that in a long time. As a reference the last 2 "dinner in a restaurant" bills were $195 (sushi) and $178 (Greek). If you are looking for an outstanding culinary experience, pony up. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked into the buffet. The decor is very modern and clean. The actual buffet area is huge with many different sections containing a large variety of hot and cold Asian and American foods. Everything is fresh and constantly rotated and replaced. The service was cordial and polite. While most of the tables only have regular soy sauce I spotted a couple of low-sodium soy sauce bottles in the corner and snagged one for the table. The price is excellent for the food that you get, and I plan to return soon. read more

I was literally afraid to eat here. My Girlfriend was hungry so i made the best of it. Most of the food looked like it was sitting around for hours. Most of the sushi did not look fresh. The seafood salad was spoiled. Bathroom was so filthy looked like someone left a surprise on the floor in the stall. Came here with my family to have a late lunch one rainy afternoon. My toddler fell asleep in the car on the way, no problem- I just put him in his stroller and we were on our way in. Until we were stopped at the door. The hostess would not allow me into the restaurant with my sleeping two year old in his stroller. I've never been to a restaurant with such a bizarre policy... when asked why, we were told there wasn't any space for strollers, and were advised to remove the car seat from my car to put him in so he could... sleep upright on the floor? Totally unsafe and inconvenient for everyone and an absolutely absurd suggestion. So what if one of us was in a wheel chair, which tends to be bulky and wide with large wheels? I find it hard to believe they're not able to accommodate people with disabilities that require wheelchairs so why would a stroller, which tends to be slim and tall, be any different? Of course I understand having a child in a stroller is not the same situation as needing a wheelchair but what I'm trying to understand is how they could say there's no space. I honestly believe they saw three people of color and believed we were looking to steal food and store it in the stroller which is ridiculous if that's the case. The manager and hostess were both very rude and dismissive. We went to Chow Time instead and called ahead to see if my stroller would be a problem, they told me it was okay and we ate there with no issue. The staff was more unfriendly than usual and hardly came to the table. We never received refills. The end of the meal was when we found a fly cooked into the coconut shrimp. When we showed an employee, she quickly said thank you and that she would tell the kitchen. After that, she looked back down at her paperwork, until I asked if I would be paying full price. Masks are required; there's plenty of space to maintain safe distances from others, and food prep gloves are also required to self-serve food in the buffet lines. However, the carpet needs to be cleaned because the area i was sitting in has a pungent stench which was a bit of an annoyance. Then, go to the dessert carousel and get yourself their some kind of ice cream for a splugerific delight, absolute. The entire place smelled clean, it was clean and there was no fishy nor greasy smell. I did not have sushi yet people were chowin and smilin'. I may try it next time. I'm from way out of town, Cali, so I may not even ever come again but ultimately, yes. If you're looking for something very fair price for the whole family to share and have some fun while enjoying eats together, this is a good choice. We had mixed feelings about this buffet. The first time we went around Chinese New Year, it was great! But when we went back in February, it wasn't! It was like we didn't visit the same place at all. During our first visit, the food was fresh and they served authentic oriental dishes, along with, americanized versions of chinese food. When we went back the second time, they did not have the same variety of foods and the food was not fresh. We ended up being unable to eat some of our food because the meat was dried out and too tough as if it had been overly cooked or reheated old food and the seasoning was just very off. I put something in my mouth that seemed like they just poured endless salt over the meat. They also charged us differently than the first time we went and there was no explanation as to why.
