When it's good it's good and when it's not... I've only been here one time so I can't really say. So, for a buffet it's a four star, not many get past that...But what I do know is that if it's fresh it's good. There are a lot of things that have cheese, those things are not the most tasty but fair enough. This is a Chinese restaurant afterall. Seafood, satisfying. If you go for the hibachi freshy, that shit's good (add an egg or two)! Super personal secret revealed, the best dessert, it's their fresh donuts, puffy fresh hot soft roundy breads rolled in sugar, found on the fried food carousel. Then, go to the dessert carousel and get yourself their some kind of ice cream for a splugerific delight, absolute. The entire place smelled clean, it was clean and there was no fishy nor greasy smell. I did not have sushi yet people were chowin and smilin'. I may try it next time. I'm from way out of town, Cali, so I may not even ever come again but ultimately, yes. If you're looking for something very fair price for the whole family to share and have some fun while enjoying eats together, this is a good choice. Last note, each dish I had with mushrooms was good... I did not have chicken because of previous reviews. Although my 4-year-old great-nephew loved the chicken wings so much that the waitress was amazed because she thought they were to spicy for littles but he couldn't get enough. We had mixed feelings about this buffet. The first time we went around Chinese New Year, it was great! But when we went back in February, it wasn't! It was like we didn't visit the same place at all. During our first visit, the food was fresh and they served authentic oriental dishes, along with, americanized versions of chinese food. When we went back the second time, they did not have the same variety of foods and the food was not fresh. We ended up being unable to eat some of our food because the meat was dried out and too tough as if it had been overly cooked or reheated old food and the seasoning was just very off. I put something in my mouth that seemed like they just poured endless salt over the meat. They also charged us differently than the first time we went and there was no explanation as to why. My family had mixed emotions about this place and was not happy at all on our most recent visit. I would say go at your own risk. read more

As Joan L. noted in her review the prices here are the best part ($10.99 for adult dinner) however I wonder if this is just a marketing scheme as they are new and prices will be going up soon...? My dad's friend wanted to come here to celebrate their joint birthdays, and although he wasn't too enthusiastic he went along with the plan. I must say the place was pretty empty on a weeknight so having 25 people eat together wasn't too much of a problem. We had called ahead and they did have an area set up for us, but after some back and forth we moved the party to another area which we found more appropriate. In terms of food you'll find all the standard sushi/Chinese buffet items here, and a few non-standards, and a few things missing lol. As Joan noted they do have some more authentic dumpling choices, though not as many as I would have hoped, and my "shrimp shumai" looked more like pork. The sushi options were ok, and they have a few different rolls (one with plantains on the outside) but there wasn't any sashimi choices. The raw bar had mussels and shrimp, but no crab and definitely not any oysters. There was some cooked salt and pepper crab elsewhere. The highlight for me was the hibachi station. As many of the newer Chinese buffets are doing the hibachi station is "create your own" meaning the raw meats and veggies are on display so you can pile them high on your plate and then hand it to the cook. Some may worry about the utensils used on the raw meats touching other meats and veggies, but trust me, this grill should be hot enough to kill off anything :P. The cook asked me which sauces I wanted to add and in the end I was quite pleased with my plate of food which was definitely the best of the night. Very close and convenient considering establishments like this featuring Teppanyaki/Sushi/Dim Sum/Chinese are mostly found further out west in Pines, Weston and Davie. So I got here on Monday at 3:00p and I still made it for the lunch buffet- score! That meant my meal was only $7.25 and honestly when I realized that, I really could care less. Well, not completely, but you know... Since I was dining alone, I was given the single persons table as you'll see in my photos. Kind of a miserable dining experience in terms of view points, but it's ok I guess. Kind of felt like a sore thumb the way the chair was positioned. If you didn't know I was single before , you did if you saw me sitting there. The food was good. The first thing, it was hot. Nothing is worse than lukewarm buffet food. The buffet features your typical Chinese buffet fair: your standard rices, noodles, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken and much more. There is a sushi station, dessert station, as well as a hibachi station. The only major down side I can see is the service. It was super slow. Yes, I get that I'm at a buffet and I'm essentially feeding myself, but it took them a very long time to take my drink order, an even longer time to bring my beverage, and honestly, when I needed a refill it sat empty for most of my meal. I need you to know that I never go to a Chinese buffet expecting anything thrilling. I expect at least hot, tolerable food and we didn't even get that here. The sushi area smells like old fish, I wouldn't let my kids eat it. They had the regular fixings, but a lot of it wasn't even hot and you could tell some things had been out way too long. The hibachi bar you can't even put your own garlic and hot peppers on, the chef does...i didn't like that bc I like extra extra garlic and extra hot which did not end up getting. The ice cream was freezer burnt, the hot mustard almost made me vom and they gave me a hot glass for my beer. The prices are low though so I guess you get what you pay for. Me, my family, and friends usually come to this buffet because of the price of the buffet per person but the problem is that food is always cold, service is bad, and when you get into there for lunch they will have almost emitted everything for the lunch menu for the dinner menu leaving you no choice but to scatter around left overs from the lunch menu thats been sitting there for hours and is stale already. I don't normally do buffets because of the obvious quantity over quality and I've had some bad experiences especially with Chinese run buffets. Most of them, if run by FOBs, seem to think Americans will eat anything fried and or has butter as an ingredient. Just an observation and my opinion because fried food does taste good. So yes, sushi cannot be compared to an actual Japanese restaurant but it's definitely better than many Chinese run buffets that serve sushi (like China Buffet). Those places just have sushi so they can say they have sushi. In my opinion no effort into taste. This place, it tastes legit given the price tag and compared to others and for more. I like that the sushi is small and it didn't taste too salty to me. Of course more imitation crab meat items than I prefer but that's expected. Granted with the variety of buffet items it's impossible and not practical to have every single dish be top notch regarding taste and temperature despite the dish is cheap and it literally only takes a smidgen more effort to make a cheap dish taste good much less great. This is a buffet after all, but there are many items that I enjoyed. Maybe not with the expectation that I am eating gourmet foods but hey, for $7.25 it's clearly not gourmet and that's ok! And I've seen $3.99 buffets in Central FL (that is just so wrong and suspect), so I am not saying this place is good solely based on price, but price should be factored into what you expect. I enjoyed the sushi, mussels, their one calamari dish, apple turnover, shui mai, gyoza, general or sesame chicken (can't remember), actually most of the chicken dishes and some other items that I can't remember, but honestly I always get at least two plates of sushi, so that's where my $7.25 went.
