Well, it has potential! Pretty expensive for what you get. A bit of beans and a bit of rice better change or they will lose people! Took a while to get our drinks, this after waiting 15 minutes for everyone in our party to get there even though the table was set for us?? I hope they do a taco Tuesday or game night or something? Can't wait to come again. We came close to closing, but the staff was still friendly and provided great service. I had two margaritas, the blood orange and passionfruit. The blood orange tasted more like grapefruit, so I wasn't a big fan. The oysters were fresh. We loved the Ahi Tostadas and are coming back for these above everything else. The description on the menu was lacking, but the tostada was not. Hubby ordered the steak fajitas, the rice and beans were very tasty. I had the Mariscadas, I could drink the sauce. Our meal was absolutely fantastic. I only wish we had room for dessert, we will just have to have some next time. read more

The fish tacos are delicious! They have a black salsa that is really good on the fish tacos. I enjoy their Micheladas.

On a positive note my cadillac margarita was excellent, so much so we had two. This was another place I once again tried a super burrito, something I use to always order. Unfortunately theirs was not good. The menu said "pastor adobo" so I asked does it have pineapple in it which al pastor does and she said no or just a little or something that made me think it would be OK. It was not, very odd having pineapple in a super burrito with all the fixings like sour cream and quac. I do not recommend this meat in a burrito. The couple with us had chile relleno, tamal and enchiladas they looked excellent so when I go to get a margarita, I may try one of these. The quacamole appetizer was a bit silly looking. It reminded me of a Mexican restaurant we went to in Greece with a small salsa cup size of chips. read more

The hostesses were nice, I just sat at the bar for a quick lunch. The bartender was polite and quick. I tried the tacos tradicianales from the Cinco De Mayo specials. I liked that they were grilled chopped chicken and not shredded. I asked what toppings came on it. He said cilantro and pico de gallo. I got plenty of cilantro and tons of red onion. Not pico. No big deal, just pulled most of the onion off. The chicken was still tender and the seasoning was good, but zero salt that I could taste, and it wasn't anywhere on the counter. The tortillas were on point though. The chips and salsa are great. Great music and not too loud. I will have to come back for an actual meal to give it a fair review. read more

Ambience is upbeat, nothing too 'serious' although I wouldn't consider it a family restaurant..... We ate at both the bar & restaurant on separate visits & the bartender is well versed in tequilas & we tried a few 'sipping' tequilas. Separately, the waiter had good food recommendations on the restaurant side . Place is still new, and we came on Valentine's Day and we were able to be seated quickly. It's always nice to be greeted by folks when you are just walking in even when they are busy with various duties. It's been several months since they amended their Menu and everything is delicious! If I could give a 0 I would. My family and I came in on a Saturday evening. Not too busy in there. It was myself, my husband our 4 kids including our baby. They had us waiting about 10 minutes just to try seating us at a table for 4 people. I told the host there's 5 of us that need to be sitting & he said oh well this is all we have. I said there's no way you can add another table or chair? He replied with no this is all we have & asked us to sit. I don't ever give bad reviews but this was so terrible & uncomfortable. This was a first visit for us and well very impressed with the quality of service received from the time we arrived through the whole time we were there! First greeted so pleasantly and then when was seated and service water the moment we sat down. The server Magaly came to offer to get our drinks first. Upon receiving our drinks, we also received chips and salsa. The glassware was so nice, and the menu has several choices and the al carte items were great for someone not looking for a lot of food. The server Magaly was so pleasant and friendly when taking our order. The Chicken Fajitas were my favorite, and tortillas were hot and fresh. The fish tacos were the other items order and were great and just perfect. The whole experience was well worth it! The best way to describe Tequila Bar and Grill is it is the equivalent of a TGIF restaurant. The service was good. The ambience was loud and definitely not a place to go and have a catch-up with an old friend. The food was okay, nothing amazing. The drinks were good (especially the spicy pineapple margarita) but way over priced for what it is. Will I be coming back? No. But would it be a fun place for Happy Hour? Perhaps! read more
