Sailed out on Teralani 4 on 7/17/26 for a snorkeling adventure. The crew was amazing and the snorkeling was phenomenal. Would highly recommend and we'll be back for another excursion on our next trip out to Maui in '27!

Did a snorkeling tour on 7/8/26 with Teralini 4. The staff was great ( I can't remember their names) but all were very friendly and attentive. Dakota was out in the ocean as our lifeguard at sea, this put me at ease as my kids snorkeled off the Mala wharf. We got to see a lot of turtles. The breakfast, bbq and drinks were great. The photographer also got really good photos of us snorkeling and the sea life, I would recommend buying the photo package.

This was my 3rd cruise with Teralani and it has been amazing each time! The crew was amazing! Captain Patrick and his team were so nice and made each person's experience unique: The Vodka Sunset is my new favorite beverage!! The photographer was the cutest and so funny.

Amazing afternoon dolphin sail July 2026. We probably saw at least 100 dolphins. They swam next to the boat, we saw them jump out of the water, just incredible and easy/safe for a family. Our kids ages 4, 7 and 10 all had a great time. The crew were so nice! The photographer was great too! We purchased all of the pics she took of our family and the dolphins for $85 which seemed pretty reasonable. You had the option to purchase one photo for $40 or all for $75 + tax. I was a little worried about our 4 year old but the water was pretty calm and they had life jackets for anyone that requested them.

We booked the Premier Snorkel Sail, and it was one of the best experiences we had in Maui. The tour was from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM (checked in at 9:00 AM), and the full 5-hour trip was absolutely worth the price of around $169.95. This adventure included a tropical breakfast, a chef-inspired BBQ lunch, and a free open bar with Hawaiian beers, wine, and Mai Tais. We visited two snorkeling spots--one near the mother twig area and the other at an artificial reef. Both were stunning, and we got to see turtles, fish, and beautiful coral. The food cooked by Julia was incredible--fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best food we had on the island. But the highlight of the entire trip was Deyha. She was the true star--kind, genuine, humble, and so empowering. She remembered everyone's names, checked in on us constantly, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. Our captain, Nicole, was amazing as well--professional, friendly, and reassuring. If you don't know how to swim, they provide floats and teach you exactly what to do. I was really hesitant to get into the water, but Desa encouraged me, and it turned into one of the best decisions of my life. The boat was extremely clean--the bathrooms, eating area, and cleaning stations were spotless. The overall vibe on board was positive, friendly, and safe. The only small downside was that the ticket seller advertised it as a whale-watching + snorkeling tour, but once on the boat, we learned it was mainly a snorkeling tour, and they would only stop for whales if spotted. Still, the crew more than made up for it with their exceptional service. We did the morning Premier Snorkel Sail, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Maui. Beautiful views, incredible crew, great food, and unforgettable memories. 100% worth it.

We had an amazing sunset dinner cruise in Maui. Left right from the beach in Ka'anapali and had a the best time on Captain Patrick's boat. The whole crew was friendly and attentive with no shortage of drinks flowing. Food was great and the sailing views were beyond our expectations. The live music was an added bonus that really set the mood. Highly recommend

Me, my wife, in-laws and two young boys had an amazing time with captain Mario and his crew! Captain Mario and crew were very inviting, informative, and funny. Made us feel like Ohana! The food and drinks were on par and not only did we get to see a bunch of sea turtles but we were fortunate enough to be taken on an extra adventure and spotted a mother whale and her calf. No extra cost if you don't look at the whale . Overall great experience and would recommend Mario and his crew!! One last note, when boarding and unboarding from the beach, keep your eye on the wave. Cheeeee-Hoooooo!

Their 3hr snorkeling with the turtles was amazing. It was the highlight of our vacation. The crew Sophie, Gavin and the others were exceptionally nice and made our experience outstanding. Highly recommend adding this to your trip adventures.

February is known to be peak whale season in Maui and being able to witness it firsthand was a magical experience. The crew are all incredible, super friendly, and attentive with a vast amount of knowledge. Learning about the fun facts was quite entertaining in between whale spotting. The captain took us to multiple spots and it was a breathtakingly beautiful experience and wonderful way to get the morning started. Went out on the first trip at 7:30 am which I enjoyed because the sun wasn't too harsh at this time. The crew passed out water and had snacks on board, I had some pineapple and muffin. The meeting spot was towards the water on the beachwalk, close to the hut where you can rent gear such as snorkels, fins, & boards. It's close to Kāʻanapali Beach Resort. They check you in and you do a beach loading onto the catamaran. There are plenty of spots to sit or stand and it was a good group of people. Got to experience both close and far spotting, one whale came really close and we got to see it swim under the water and come up to spout. Loved being able to watch them in their natural element, doing turns, breaching, and playing. Can't thank the wonderful and lovely staff enough! I did the Whale Watch experience but Teralani does offer other options such as snorkeling adventures and sunset cruises.

Go snorkel with Teralani! They took us out to a location where there only a few boats and the reef was colorful! They even stopped at a dolphin pod for us to enjoy, even though it was not apart of the tour. The crew was informative and took great care of us. My family and I went on one of their Sunset dinner cruises... AMAZING! The staff; Tanner, Debbie, Captain Joey, and the photographer, Virginia... the food was good, the view was outstanding, the ride on the catamaran was very smooth, and of course the whales were so exciting. I would totally recommend this company if you are looking for something to do. read more

This was the best excursion we could of done in Maui! For starters myself, my wife and daughter had never snorkeled so when we were told to just rent some snorkel gear and jump in the water we were hesitant. Instead of doing that we booked a day with Teralani Sailing and let me tell you it was the best damn time we had on our entire vacation in Maui! You arrive early in the morning and board a beautiful sailboat with about 20-25 other people. They immediately cater you with some fresh cinnamon rolls and a nice breakfast egg croissant. Make sure you stay up on the top deck as the first part of the trip is the boat running with the motor and it can be a little choppy. After about 20 minutes of heading to our first destination the boat slowed down and we were greeted by a giant sea turtle that was right next to our boat. The sight seeing did not end here though as we were then blessed by seeing at least 60 dolphins gliding along side the boat. The captain played flipper over the nice loud sound system as we took in the beauty of these amazing creatures. After about 20 minutes of sight seeing we arrived at our first dive of the day and got to snorkel in some amazing waters where we saw at least 30 different types of fish along with a sea turtle who swam right past us. After a good hour of snorkeling we boarded the vessel and we're treated to a catered lunch along with endless beverages....and yes they have adult beverages for all you thirsty folks....but wait it's not over. The captain takes you to another spot where you get to snorkel for another hour. We saw more fish along with eels and squid. It was so breathtaking. After your last hour you get back on the boat and it's time to head back. But with no motor running...the captain raises the sail and you get to sail for over an hour back to your original spot with a great open bar the entire way home! Make sure you give these guys a shot! You will not be disappointed! Can't wait to go to Maui again and use them. Finally make sure you pay for the pictures. Cost doesn't matter as you will see in just a few snap shots from the day. Cheers! read more

An amazing day on the water in Maui!!!! The crew was amazing, beautiful boat and plenty of sight dolphins, whales, turtles and fish! All the food was great with a nice assortment of drinks! Everything from a peaceful cruise, a few hours of snorkeling and much faster pace sail! We will be back for sure!!!!! read more

First time on a catamaran and it was a great time! We were so surprised on how steady the ride was, the beautiful water and the sails launching into the wind was pretty cool. The Crew was friendly, fun and engaging yet professional in the care they had for all the passengers. It was a dinner cruise with "cocktails", and they could really use some help in that department. We did it mostly for the cruise/cocktails so we weren't that vested in food quality expectation but it needed a lot of help in the food and cocktail department. Pretty underwhelming in those two things but we had a great time and have no regrets in the experience. Well worth it just for the ride and would recommend it. read more

I cannot say enough great things about our AMAZING experience with the Teralani crew. We were on the T5 for the sunset dinner sail and the evening was just perfect. From the crew safety instructions, to the playlist, and the views, everything was top notch and our 2 boys loved the experience as well. The drinks were great, my cup seemed to always be full, and the food was fantastic, topped with a chocolate dipped pineapple wedge for dessert. Spencer provided a great Hawaiian Islands history lesson and kept us sailing in the right direction. We HIGHLY recommend this team for a one-of-a-kind Maui experience. We went on a snorkel trip to Honolua Bay on Teralani 5 on May 9th and had a fabulous time. Captain Patrick and his crew made certain that everyone had a great time. We were able to spend more time on the mooring as another company did not have a trip that day. The barbecue was presented very professionally; good food, and great service. We took the Sunset Dinner Cruise off Kanapali beach and it was great. Everything was perfect. The staff were all amazingly helpful and friendly. They fed us as kept the drinks coming from the open bar. The boat was large and perfectly maintained. The captain sailed so that the boat was dry and stable. There was enough wind so that they sailed the boat. Maui is incredibly beautiful from the water when the sun sets. From the water the lush green valleys had rainbows and clouds coming over the tops of the mountains. The food was excellent, catered by Three's Bar and Grill in Kihei, one of the best restaurants on the island. read more

My family returned to Maui to honor my husband's life and last wishes. I was fortunate to be connected with Mike- the owner of Teralani Sailing. Mike went above and beyond to make sure every detail of our Sunset Cruise and my husband's celebration of life was perfect. The crew was excellent. They catered to every hope and wish we had. They were respectful of our situation, accommodating, generous and fun! By the time we ended our voyage, they all felt like a part of our family. The catered dinner was absolutely delicious with great options for the vegans in our group. We never had to ask for a drink as the staff were right there to get us anything we wanted. The boat was absolutely perfect, clean, spacious, beautiful, so many areas to choose from to enjoy our sunset cruise. I know we all had the best experience ever. Even the dolphins, whales and flying fish joined in the celebration with us. I know my husband was pleased with the above and beyond treatment we received and so were we. This is a definite must do while in Maui. We had the best crew... Thomas, Drew and Peter were AMAZING. They made our first snorkel trip so memorable. It was very special to be on the 1st Snorkel Trip that Teralani had done in 7months due to The Pandemic. We felt 100% safe with the measures taken. We can't say enough positives about this company. Shoutout to Teralani Sailing and the whole entire crew. This was an amazing experience and would 10/10 recommend. The weather was pretty awful. Very windy and a little rainy. My party and I were pretty bummed about the weather and how windy it was. But Freddy and his crew made the experience more than enjoyable. The drinks were HUGE; not little tiny cups. The food was alright but you have to set your expectations when it comes to these things. Everybody was super friendly and welcoming. They turned a pretty miserable experience due to the weather into an amazing experience I would recommend to anybody. The weather also cleared up at the very end and we got to see a beautiful sunset. read more

What a great time on the water. We saw tons of turtles and fish. And I can't say enough about the staff on board. Wow!!! They made sure you had drinks, cleared dishes and trash. The boat was always clean. The breakfast was just enough and the lunch was delicious after a hour of snorkeling it was perfect. If you are thinking of a snorkel tour give these people a chance. read more

We went on the snorkeling cruise with captain Chase and his crew. AMAZING!! They are Top notch!! Great team and loved being with them. They were so great, they were just funny enough, they sang and danced, but you knew you were safe with them. One of them even saved my phone. Ava was great, I was getting nervous, she calmed me down and I was able to get it and snorkel with no problem. Sadly, I did not reapply my sunscreen and have been miserable for 3 days now, so PLEASE if you take this trip, REAPPLY SEVERAL TIMES. We are going on the sunset cruise tomorrow with this same crew. Can't wait!! read more

We've had nothing but great experiences with Teralani every time we've visited Maui. We have done both snorkel tours and sunset cruises, and on trips, the crew has been personable, professional, and just all around awesome. Captain Matt, Dominick, Gabriel..if any of these crew members end up on your boat, you will be well taken care of. I highly recommend booking with Teralani on your next visit to Maui!! read more

Whale watching tour. The crew and catamaran were great! Brought juice and water around and you could also get alcoholic drinks and snacks that were included. Easy to get onboard from the beach, even though we are in our mid-70's. Smooth ride, no worries about motion sickness. Beautiful day when we went. And we saw lots of whales!! They explained a lot about whales. Saw mom and baby. And a breach! I had a great video of the breach, but Yelp wouldn't put it on. read more

We went out with Captain Matt, Freddy, and Sammy today and WOW, what an amazing experience!! We have not stopped talking about it! We saw a HUGE pod of dolphins, had delicious food and drinks, and learned tons of fun facts about the islands. Brooke took amazing pictures too! We are so happy we booked this tour. If you are debating it, go for it! We are on our honeymoon and only wanted to have one thing "planned" SO happy we chose Teralani Sailing, 12/10! read more

We had the best day celebrating my birthday with the Teralani crew! It was so much fun! They took us to the best snorkeling spot. Saw more fish than I have seen on other snorkeling outings. Lots of turtles! Came back to the boat after snorkeling to an incredible BBQ cooked by the crew and an open bar! The crew were so attentive and friendly. They played the best music, too!! Good job Captain Sam, especially on the music! This is a must do when visiting Maui! An amazing snorkel experience. This is one of the best choices for snorkeling in Maui. It was a small group setting with a DELICIOUS breakfast (croissant with egg filling with some other options), personally plated lunches and cocktails (after snorkeling). Not a booze cruise but definitely laid back and comfortable for people of all ages and stages of life. The crew was so welcoming and took amazing care of us. They provide equipment but my mom and I brought our own. We sailed up the west coast to a rare spot for snorkeling, Honolua Bay, seeing beautiful reefs, turtles, and huge schools of fish. They also make sure to show you any and all wildlife along the way to and from the island. We saw TONS of whales and could hear them so loudly underwater. Just a beautiful experience for a birthday excursion. Can't recommend them enough. read more

We had so much fun on a whale watching tour! It was easy to book and reasonably priced. They pick up right from the beach in front of the Westin, so convenient and easy. The two hours on the boat were fun and informative, and the views were beautiful. The crew was attentive and super knowledgeable. We did end up seeing 3 whales! Would definitely recommend to anyone on vacation in Ka'anapali. I took one star off because the boat was a little bit crowded - I would've enjoyed the trip a bit more with fewer people (easier to sit down, more room to move around the boat). read more

We had the BEST time on our Maui snorkeling tour! We booked through Aloha VIP because we had a coupon. It was a 5 hour snorkeling trip originating in Kaanapali. Happened to be whale season so we also saw a LOT of whales. Highlights include: great food & open bar (crew served us); the entire crew was nice, funny & professional; and we saw so many turtles, whales & fish. We were lucky to see so many animals and to have great weather, but I think we would've had a wonderful trip regardless because of the lovely crew and gorgeous catamaran boat. Gabe and Murph also provided great service, and Captain Kevin was really good at explaining timeline and direction. The food was awesome, breakfast, lunch, and dessert. "" Don't waste your time or money. "" It was so boring! My family and I was dying to get off the boat. We barely saw any whales and if we did they were so far away. I literally have to squint my eyes just to see a black shadow from a distance peaking out. We purchased tickets for Whale Watching with a Buffet Dinner included. Instead we each got a plate with rice and lettuce on it only. The crew forgot to pack the chicken so they offered to reimburse everyone 30%. We all were starving and they pretty much fed us rabbit food. Would we ever do another whale watching?????? No!!!!! We were a family of 5 and none of us enjoyed it. It was super boring for all of us. At the end of the sailing the crew would walk around asking for tips $ and to let everyone know that they also except Venmo too. WTF???? This was supposed to be our family Christmas Whale Watching & Buffet Dinner. It turned out to be a starving boring trip. - This is not a whale watching trip, it's more for adults to get together and drink alcohol. ( Not for Kids or Senior People ) - Food is cheaply done and if you do see whales, you would need binoculars for it. ( They do not supply binoculars so good luck seeing them. ) - Desert, they seriously gave us each the tiniest piece of pineapple dip in chocolate. ( It was literally bite size. ) We all only get this one tiny thin piece, No seconds. What a joke! - If you are not quick enough you will not get a table or chair. You will either have to stand, sit on the ground or go sit inside. ( inside no view at all) - I'm not sure how they even got 5 stars reviews on here. This was our second whale watching tour and tbh the crew really blew it out of the water haha Obviously the vessel & crew can't control how many whales are seen but we saw whale after whale and even had a small group circling near the boat for quite some time. The naturalist on board was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic it really highlighted the experience, I took some photos and she said they can be sent to happy whale.com and I was able to see the tracking info of those whale seen previously form their tail patterns, how cool is that...The ladies were attentive and served drinks as quickly as you could down them, the captain had a great playlist. On the way back, one of our daughters helped hoist the sail and we were able to catch the wind of a bit. We also had the good fortune of observing a pod of Hawaiian spinner dolphins on the way to and back from Lana'i. Book this trip! It is SO worth it!!!

Finding the spot initially was a little confusing, we were the last ones to show up! You are given a number based on when you arrive and you choose a seat on the boat. There is a captain and a naturalist on board who talks about the whales. If you're sitting in the back of the boat, you really can't hear what's being said so sit at the front or in the middle. We circled around and got to see a baby whale breech the water! Such magnificent animals. When a microphone was lowered in the water, we could hear the whales "singing." Did you know it's only the males that do this? The time goes by reallllly fast, so just enjoy being out there.

Originally we…read morewere supposed to stay in Lahaina, but because of the rebuilding of the area, we stayed a little further south. I wish I did stay in the area because the whole area is a vibe. It's a little more touristy with resorts and shopping areas, but once you get on the beach you forget all that. Some of our group was already here and gave us specific instructions on where to park. We parked in a paid parking garage and had to walk between hotels to find the entrance to the beach. This particular stretch is in front of the Sheraton Maui Resort. This beach was awesome! Don't get confused like I did and think this was a black sand beach. Black Rock refers to the giant black lava rock going from the beach into the ocean. It's a very popular cliff diving area. In my opinion, you got to have some athletic ability to do the cliff diving. There's two ways to get to the peak of the rock to jump. There's a path from the shore, but you have to do a little climbing with a very sketch path to the top. The other option is to swim in the ocean towards the end of the rock where you have a little ladder to get you up, but you still have to get to the top of the rock. My friends and I decided to do the swim out which in itself was a challenge. One I got close, I decided to be the photographer in the water for when my friends jumped. We hung out in the water for awhile before swimming back to shore. The beach is perfect for lounging around, with soft white sand and crystal clear water. I brought my snorkel and goggles to really appreciate what's under the sea. We stayed out here way longer than we planned because time flies when you are having fun. On my next trip to Maui, I would totally consider staying right on this beach. I will most definitely be back!

I have seen them crowding the turtles (10 ft distance is the law), standing on the swimming turtles to treat them like surf boards, and even approaching the monk seals or blocking their path back to the water (50+ ft is the law). Enjoy this beach responsibly and respect the beautiful wild life that frequent this beach.

The catamaran was pretty sweet, with some really comfy bean bags overlooking the edge out to the ocean. While we did occasionally get splashed in this area, it was worth the unobstructed view of the sunset and the breeze in my hair. The crew was especially sweet and treated all of us like absolute royalty. A note to those who are prone to motion sickness: do not try to be brave and only wear sea bands thinking you'll be okay. Take your Dramamine an hour before you board the catamaran. While the first half of our dinner cruise was fine with my motion sickness, the second half of the trip left me feeling really queasy around dinner service time. This made me very sad. This was no fault of the crew, and 100% my fault for thinking I could tough it out. If you are ill-prepared, the crew has ginger ale, club soda and ginger chews to help. Speaking of dinner, the few bites I was able to eat on our first trip were fantastic: a full dinner buffet prepared by Cafe Jai. The salmon was perfectly tender, as was the short rib. The caesar salad was just the right amount of tangy (and the extra dressing was really great on the salmon as well.) I'm not sure what kind of sauce was on the crispy seasoned potatoes but they were absolutely delightful. And of course, the crown on top of a delicious meal was the mini brownie cup we were served for dessert before we wrapped up the trip. Our second trip (where I was prepared with some Dramamine) was a memorial for our grandparents, where we released their cremains at sea with eco-urns. I must say that the crew handled everything wonderfully. We had the full bar, another beautiful buffet spread including some delicious crispy chicken, a pesto pasta salad, pulled beef sliders, and rolls. After we said our emotional goodbyes, we were given rose petals to release into the ocean. We even received certificates after the trip that gave us the coordinates of where my grandparents cremains were released. I seriously cannot thank Sea Maui enough for giving my family a truly memorable experience on our trip to Maui. They made our trip so special. A million thanks for the kindness!

We spoke with Lenny Verrastro and he ended up selling us on a Snorkeling cruise instead. He raved on about how it was a 4 1/2 hr cruise with two seperate new dive spots that they've only been going to for about 2 weeks and that we would have 1 1/2 hrs at each spot to snorkel. We got there and went out, the crew was great and friendly. After an hour and half boat ride we got to the first spot and we're able to go snorkel. After about an hour and half I went back on the boat to get ready for the next spot. I heard one of the crew announce 20 more minutes and then we will be heading back. I asked about the second spot and the informed me that they dont do two spots, only one. I asked about what I had been sold by Lenny that we would be going to two spots and they said this boat (the Quicksilver) does not do two spots, they never have and that Lenny must have got confused with their other boat the Calipso. This was very dissapointing as I had not taken any pictures at this spot thinking that I would have a chance at the next spot. In order to have pictures, we ended up having to purchase pictures from the photographer on board which was extremely overpriced. When we got back to the landing, I went into the Boss Frogs there and let them know what had happened. They said there was nothing they could do and gave me a number to call. The next day I called Lenny to ask about what happened. I explained that we only went to one spot (which was neither of the 2 he said we would go to) and that when I asked the crew they said that he must have been mistaken because they only go to one spot. He apologized and then proceed to tell me that the crew was wrong and he doesn't know why they would tell me that and they were supposed to go to two spots. After a bit of conversation not getting anywhere, I ended the call and called the number given by the Boss Frogs at the landing. The number was for the boats reservations. I spoke to them and explained again what had happened to which they also explained that the Quicksilver only goes to one spot and their other two boats both make two stops. She said the Lenny must have been confused and there was nothing they could do, I would have to call Lenny back. I didn't feel that I would get anywhere calling him back so I came here to warn everyone to stay away from Boss Frogs for your boat tours and especially do not book anything through Lenny. The boats were great and the crew was awesome, I would recommend them. You can call the boat reservation line directly at 808-661-9937. **Follow Up** Within 2 hours of my yelp review I received a reply on Yelp, an email from Boss Frogs business manager and a call back from Lenny all apologizing for the misinformation and they processed a partial refund.

We went early in the morning and a person was swimming close to us and he pooped in the water. A huge human turd floated by us and it was disgusting. It's sad because the water was clear and the coral made it such a fun place for the kids but that incident made it so gross, I had to shower immediately. But because the area was so shallow we stayed anyways.... The shaded area smells like pee. So not sure how clean it is.

This part of my review is for the snuba contractor that was onboard April 2018. Aaron was articulate in teaching, esp to the kids. But, he stuck me with another family's 10 year old kid since I was solo. It's a team sport and no 10 yr old can cooperate. As soon as I was in the water, I knew it was a mistake to have a kid in tandem...and I should have quit then as my gut told me. I had to babysit the whole ride. He got us tangled twice and both times Aaron addressed ME as the problem! That was the wrong way to handle it. On board as I conversed with him about the matter, he began strongly arguing with me and I called him on it! Hey, I'm the unhappy customer nicely but firmly giving you my opinion of having someone else's child to drag along. Eventually he stopped blaming me and arguing with me, but he was not mature about taking negative feedback. He handled that too wrongly. Afterwards, I jumped into the sea and had a great time snorkeling with the fish and coral. The Teralani crew were fantastic - patient, friendly, always happy and smiling. The BBQ is hot dogs and hamburgers, chips, cookies, plenty of soda, beer and wine. Altogether a great time. My wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary in Hawaii when we experienced this unforgettable dinner cruise. It has been a crazy year with the pandemic and acclimating to a new way of life. Hawaii is the gold standard of preparedness and precaution. Most notably though was the crew of the "Teralani 5" on Dec 15th. Spencer, Heidi, and Christian demonstrated the epitome of professionalism and adherence - enough to make the governor of Hawaii proud. Moreover they made the experience effortless in their work to stay compliant, and also pleasantly non-obtrusive. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset, delicious food, delightful cocktails, and awe-inspiring whale breaches. To say the staff made it all the more wonderful would be terribly understated. A Perfect Day on the Water - Amazing Crew & Beautiful Snorkeling! We had an unforgettable experience with Teralani Sailing! From start to finish, the entire crew went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a fantastic time. The captain was professional and friendly, and every single crew member--from the deckhands to the onboard photographer--was warm, helpful, and attentive. What really stood out to me was how kind and patient they were with my daughters. They helped them get their snorkeling gear on, made sure they were comfortable and safe, and were just all-around lovely with the kids. It made a big difference and allowed us all to relax and enjoy the trip. We stopped at two beautiful snorkeling spots with plenty of colorful fish and clear water--absolutely stunning locations. The boat was spacious, clean, and smooth-sailing, and the vibe was just fun and easygoing the whole time. Highly recommend Teralani if you're looking for a top-notch snorkel sail in Maui. We sailed with Teralani crews twice this past week. Both crews were captained by Capt Spens. The crew last week was Ava, Tanner and Tiffany. Today it was Randi, Tanner and Chase. Both snorkle cruises were excellent, with great food, music, service and snorkling. We even saw whales last week. The downside is no merchandise being available on board. I called the office speaking with Christy last week at the crew's suggestion. She stated she needed to speak with Capt Drew about merchandise and would get back to me. She never did. We have enjoyed sailing on the Teralani since the early 1990's. We estimate we have been on at least 30 cruises with the crews of the Teralani. We have never sailed with any other catamaran sailing company, and hopefully never will. read more

Today I had the pleasure of sailing, snorkeling and snuba diving with Teralani sailing, what an experience, the staff were absolutely amazing, very knowledgeable and extremely friendly, they take you out to Honolua Bay to snorkel or snuba dive if you add that to your experience, we saw turtles, eels and all sorts of amazing fish, then they serve you a wonderful BBQ and if you like to drink there's an OPEN BAR, cmon who doesn't like an open bar, the price you pay for the whole experience is worth the open bar in my opinion lol, finally when heading back to the dock they turn off the engine and sail the rest of the way, we got lucky and got to see dolphins too, overall the staff and trip was 5 stars, amazing read more

We had a great experience with the Teralani tour! Connor and the crew were awesome super friendly and made everyone feel safe and welcome on board. The views were absolutely stunning, and as a bonus, we even got to see dolphins , which made the trip even more memorable. The appetizers were simple, nothing fancy, but honestly, it's a quick 2-hour tour, so we weren't expecting a full meal. They had a nice selection of drinks Mai Tais, beers, and a vodka lemonade mix good enough to sip and enjoy the ride, though nothing over the top. Overall, a fun, laid-back experience with a solid team and beautiful scenery. Perfect for a casual afternoon on the water! read more

I'm shocked! How people can do for money like everything. Even they can take people under the rein just do not refund people they money they not even think about people safety. The rain is pouring like no tomorrow and I feel uncomfortable and not safe to take the tour because 1st the tour for see the around not to be closed under umbrella with all passengers. 2nd is safety and I feel very uncomfortable to go in this weather to the ocean. I called them and they refused to give me a refund and they said it's Hawaii and it's only rain. Ridiculous, you should work on your customer service department if you have one. read more

Teralani was an excellent excursion. Captain Chad, Niko, Bree, and Kylie were great!! Very hospitable. The customer services was wonderful. We were a large group of 15 people, ages 79 - 6, and it worked out great for everyone in our group. The food and drinks were delicious. They were very generous servings. We didn't feel cheated, or that were were being rationed food. Thank you! I was hesitant at first, to get in the water, but Niko and Bree made me feel at ease, and I am so glad that I went in the water. We saw a variety of fish and turtle. This whole operation is tops! Captain Julia, Maka, Brodie and all, are kind and generous and work so hard to fulfill your expectations and hopes. Our adventure started a bit slow but upon seeing the first blow of water the chase was on and successful, surprisingly so for being 2 days before end of season. We also watched a pod of dolphins run through and a sea turtle rounded out the "trifecta," as Maka put it. The crew provided a tour of the area complete with stories, beautiful weather, and smooth waters. Definitely worth the money! Would do it all over again and will read more

We went on a snorkel cruise on the Teralani catamaran November 2 and absolutely loved it! Captain Nick truly did it all, keeping the party going and finding all the great snorkel spots! The atmosphere was very fun, and we would certainly do it again! The entire crew (Meredith and others) were super friendly and fun! The photographer who's great shots of us and even taught us to deep dive while snorkeling. We got to snorkel alongside sea turtles, small harmless sharks, many fish, and even got to see the spinner dolphins! Highly recommend this excursion! read more

Our captain and crew were nothing short of fantastic. We both got a little sea-sick and they were all there in a minute to help us be comfortable and get over it. The Snuba instructor, Beau, made you feel like you'd known him for years, what a great guy. Photos were done by Luana Teixeira and wow, they are amazing shots of us and the marine life. We had never snorkeled or done snuba before and what a great adventure. I would recommend this company and trip to anyone visiting Maui. read more

What a great adventure! Our captain Kevin and his wonderful crew made our day! They were attentive, excited and informed. I was a little concerned about taking my 83 year old husband out but was pleased that they were warm and respectful. The Terilani III sunset sail was absolutely fantastic! Niko and AJ were so welcoming and made everyone feel comfortable, and the captain was incredible at getting us close to the whales while respecting them. Seeing the whales jump and hearing them was something I'll never forget. The whole evening felt magical, and I'm so grateful to the crew for their kindness and expertise. We went on the sunset cruise. From start to end the crew was very friendly. Captain Matt managed to speak to every guest and offer to take pictures. The food was very good and very appropriate for the type of excursion. My favorite was the focaccia bread but the meatballs were also pretty good. The drinks were abundant. Absolutely incredible evening with captain Spence on Teralani 5. Watched whales up close for an hour, then cruised along through at least a thousand spinner dolphins. It was magic. All the while, the wonderful crew served us drinks, a delicious supper and dessert. It's been a rough year and tonight brought my daughter and I to tears, happy, joyous tears. Amazing snorkeling adventure and fantastic crew!! We enjoyed a trip up to Honolu'a Bay for our first snorkel and then cruised over to a little cove next to Kapalua Bay for our second. We did the sunset cruise- the food and drinks were delicious! Was so impressed by how captain Julie and her crew handled the boat. Watching them beach that massive boat was just impressive! Will say if you're not able to move quickly or have a difficult time following directions the beach pick up may not be the way to go. read more

Our captain was Caiden, who was extremely kind, informative, and entertaining. We also had crewmates Sienna, Diego, and Jim looking out for us and making sure that we were comfortable and had all of our wants and needs met. I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire trip and I appreciated having a certified lifeguard on boat with us. The snorkeling experience was phenomenal and being pregnant, it made me feel so calm and relaxed. I appreciated learning the history of the two various locations we snorkeled at and the opportunity to see a sea turtle. The ship itself was pristine, and the restrooms were some of the cleanest I have ever experienced on a boat. The breakfast and lunch that they served us was tasty, and the macadamia nut cookies at the end were the perfect sweet treat. I appreciated that they were able to offer me mocktails since I cannot drink at this time, and those were tasty as well. This experience was worth every penny and I would definitely come back and do it again.

Lucia said that people can come to snorkel at turtle town from the beach. (Behind turtle town are 4-8million condos ). Evidently the beach isn't private , so you could come back on your own. It is a small tour (about 20 people max), so you never feel overly crowded on the boat or at the snorkeling sites. We were able to go to 3 different locations (Molokini crater, the reef in front of Molokini and a turtle cleaning station. We saw a ton of fish, a turtle or two, plus a cute little squid and three octopuses. Deckhands Kelly and Josh were outstanding! They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They definitely made our day! We would definitely book another trip with Seafire in the future. Thanks to the whole team for a great experience!
