First of all, I'm a teriyaki fanatic. Of all the teriyaki restaurants I've been to, this one is definitely on top of my list. They have the best teriyaki sauce so far. The sauce is just right; It's not too sweet or sour. The teriyaki bowl that I always order is very consistent. The chicken is not hard but cooked just right where a little bit of the skin is still intact to really seal in that flavor(you can also ask for chicken breast for no skin). The ginger from the condiment table is a good addition to my teriyaki. It's sweet and seasoned nicely to compliment my teriyaki bowl with extra flavors. They also have different items on the menu such as bento box, sushi rolls, and others which I will eventually give a try. But for now, I'm sticking to teriyaki chicken. read more

I didn't even know this place even existed cause its tucked away in the back of a small parking lot but when on Friday night I decided to pull in here to see what they were all about i found this place has great food and some of the BEST sushi rolls ive ever had and ive been to allot of sushi places. Parking is open space so plenty. First entrance server was polite and attentive to take my order. After I ordered there's a side area of condiments, I helped myself to a plastic container and next to that a pump of teriyaki and other hot sauce. Wow Mistake!!! Great food for the value. I ordered the salmon bento and it came with miso soup, rice, California roll and tempura. I wasn't a fan of the tempura. The batter was way too thick. It reminded me more of a fried fair food more than tempura. It most definitely was not tempura batter. Other than that, I thought everything was very tasty and for the price, you really can't complain. My boyfriend got the combo bowl and he really liked it. It wasn't doused in teriyaki sauce which I appreciate because then it allows us to add more. They leave out plenty of teriyaki sauce for you to add on your own. Best teriyaki in Fullerton ...no seriously! Looks can be deceiving. I know what you are thinking. The name and look of this place looks like millions of other no-name, generic, whatever teriyaki bowl places. This one is actually good though. And for Fullerton, that's saying a lot. They have to battle with Yoshinoya, Flame Broiler, and Waba Grill all within a mile or 2 radius. SURPRISINGLY though, the actual teriyaki here is the best. The chicken is very good, the steak is pretty good, and they offer options like brown rice which is good for the health nuts. EVEN MORE SURPRISINGLY, their fricking Tempura (of all things) is actually pretty delicious as well. Add to that quick service (waba takes FOREVER by comparison) and friendly people, and you got a winner....IF you could get past the name and look of the place to give it a try. I have been here 4 times, each time more of my office wants me to bring them food back. Today I let them taste my popcorn chicken bowl and they all wanted immediately. Not only is it good, but they are super quick with getting food out. I prefer to not take a long lunch and they do it quick. It is much appreciated for the working class. I have tried their sushi and for a quick lunch, sushi its pretty good, and a pretty large portion. If you plan on getting two rolls you better be sharing. And its clean inside. This place is definitely a hidden gem!! I tried this place because I wanted some bomb teriyaki and it did not let me down! In fact I was so impressed I showed my co-workers and we all went the very next day again. I wanted to see what it offered aside from the teriyaki and so i tried the sushi and it is also bomb. I tried their California roll and crunch roll. They left me SO FULL. I struggled to finish both. I initially tried the beef and chicken teriyaki and I think I like the chicken a little bit more than the beef. The rice is cooked well, the teriyaki sauce is delicious but I felt like I just wanted more of their chicken over the beef. The plate size btw is huge. I shared it with 3 people. The bowl is a good size for an individual though. They have condiments right next to the cashier for you to take with. My only "negative" is nothing about food or service rather the small size of the establishment and it not being open on weekends! But still recommend to try it out! read more
