I was looking for a good place to have some teriyaki chicken before heading out to Disneyland. And let me tell you! This place is a very small business but don't let that fool you. You definitely get your money's worth. The people are nice. The food is delicious. Definitely my go to spot now. It's really convenient that they have like a mini "salad bar" type thing were you can get your condiments and add things to your teriyaki. read more

Wow. I came here today on a whim with my girlfriend and her brother after we were finished with school. They weren't sure what to eat and my girlfriend's brother yelped nearby restaurants and found this at a 5 star and suggested that we eat here. The building can be a bit hard to find but spotting it's sign is no biggie. When we entered the restaurant it was empty led to a big surprise for us since it has a 5 star on yelp. The cashier was very nice and was patient with us as we took our time to choose what to eat. There was a variety of food there from usual teriyaki bowls/plates to sushi rolls. I ordered a chicken/steak bowl (oblivious to the fact that they also served plate which comes with a side salad) and also a tiger roll, while my girlfriend ordered California roll for herself and a chicken plate for her brother. We did not wait that long for the food to be served to us and when I dove in on my bowl I noticed that the chicken was very soft and juicy with little to no burn marks on them ( most teriyaki places near my area had parts of the chicken over cooked and burnt or the chicken was dry). But the chicken was not why I am trying This review. When I moved over to the steak side of the bowl, it's taste was unbelievable. I had never tasted such a soft, savory beef in my life. I had told my girlfriend (whom is currently a pescatarian) to try this delight that I have been craving for. She was a bit hesitant at first but when she took a bite she said felt that the meat "just melts in your mouth". She then later proceed to buy a steak bowl for her own afterwards. Anyways. The sushi may be a bit pricey but man, the sushi roll are big! Big as they are, it was a lot of hassle to just get one piece of the roll with my chopsticks as they were ridiculously large and fall apart. Nevertheless, the tiger roll was really good. I would come here again in a heartbeat when I'm craving teriyaki. Even if I had to drive for half an hour to eat it. read more

Decided to try this new spot based on the 5-star other people had given this location. My appetite and expectations were high. Soon as walking in, i new that those five stars given from what i assumed were friends or family members of locations owner were over exaggerated by far. Even it was dine in, food was brought out in to go boxes. Chicken terriyaki had no taste. Beef seemed like it was couple days old and battered with soy sauce to cover the tasye. Adamame was slimy and not cooked well. Searched for spices to give food some flavor but no luck, only jalapenos were available. Overall, dissapointed in food quality. Will go to flame boiler or Yoshinoya next time i feel like decent terayaki. read more

On vacation from San Francisco and was at the packing district for lunch. My mom wanted a rice plate from having all of the theme park food. Unfortunately nothing at the packing house so went to Yelp for help. Restaurant was very clean, not busy at all. Was very welcoming when I walked in. Looked at the menu and ordered the steak teriyaki and shrimp tempura. Food wasn't bad although the steak was a little dry. Came out in less than 5 min. The service was good and welcoming. I consider it fast food as the food was already cooked before ordered from the amount of time it took to be ready. Nothing bad about that. At this place you get a chicken veg bowl packed to the rim. They also have a spicy popcorn chicken bowl thats bomb as well as all the fixins u want. This place was seriously amazing! You get huge portions for your money and the teriyaki bowls taste amazing! Way better than any of the other chains of teriyaki places like WabaGrill and FlameBroiler. Those places can get pricey. I would defiantly recommend if you want a really good teriyaki bowl. read more
