SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES !! Love Teriyaki house!! longtime standing gem in the parkway plaza food court. Food is always so good & staff is super nice. I always say they have the best teriyaki chicken & stand by that. Crazy crab roll is my go to sushi roll. Everything is great there love it thank you!!

We were looking for fast food and stumbled upon a Japanese restaurant, not realizing it was inside Parkway Mall! Luckily, we had parked near the food court. We ordered the Bento Chicken Teriyaki ($12.99), Bento Katsu ($13.99), Ramen ($9.49), Crunch Roll ($9.25), and water ($2.25). The food was tasty and the portions were huge, which was great. The only issue was the chicken teriyaki, it was a bit dry and could have used more sauce. She asked me if I want to pour the sauce but I said on the side, just to be safe, since my mom has a lot of allergies. The servers were really friendly and easy to talk to, and they even gave me free water! So nice!

Tiny portion of salmon, deep-fried, for $13; do not order!

It was getting late and had to eat & didn't wanna wander far. Half the mall's food court was closed. Panda Express HAS teriyaki chicken, but I insisted to try something non-corporate if you can do so. But when placing an order for a couple sushi, teriyaki chicken, & teriyaki salmon, it came out to $70. Yikes. Was it worth it? Well, the salmon portion was unacceptable AND they deep-fried it. Plus, unlike the teriyaki chicken, which they pulled from container & chopped, & put together, they instead put their teriyaki sauce on the side. No big deal, but weird that they did that. The salmon portion was small, like Waba Grill small- that's why I don't go there again. How you gonna have a measly portion of salmon, deep-fry it, and then fill the rest of the tray with salad & rice? The service was ok- ladies were nice. The sushi wasn't bad either. Sushi probably worth the $13, but not the salmon. Do not order this - it doesn't look like it does on the menu and you'll be disappointed. Overpriced rubbish. Just do Panda or buy your own salmon at Costco for better bang for your buck!

On par with the quality of sushi you'd expect to find in a food court - not very good. Except the one really bad thing was I found a piece of hair in my sushi and lost my appetite.

The people here are nice. That's it. Showed up at 6:30 on a Wednesday and they told me they ran out of beef. Nothing is fresh soggy veggies extremely gross and chewy chicken that I could not finish, and the strangest California rolls known to man. Avoid. This is as low as it gets.

I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered the sunset roll, which was supposed to have spicy tuna and eel sauce on the top. The spicy tuna looked and smelled rancid. It looked like it was days past expiration. I showed the girl working and she said it was supposed to look like that and refused to give a refund. It is NOT supposed to look or smell like that. Never coming back and i'm telling anyone who asks to never go there either.

This is just to show that I did get the food delivery from Teriyaki House.

We were not greeted by an employee at the hostess stand and finally sat ourselves. It took 15 minutes for a server to greet us and ask for our drink order. Once he arrived for our drink order we put in a small food order to test out the quality of proteins. It took 40 minutes to get two hand rolls and one albacore sashimi order. The order took so long to arrive that once it did, we quickly put in a specialty roll order before trying the hand rolls. The specialty roll came out in two minutes flat, I did see a roll sitting on the sushi bar before we ordered. I believe we got someone else's roll because I asked about the long wait times. After the roll was delivered a server came over to our booth specifically to make a snarky comment, he said "you're lucky this was fast, people wait 1 hour for this on Fridays." The restaurant was clean, had a neat wall painting and the parking was free, those are the only positive experiences from our visit. The sashimi was dry as if it had been sitting out not properly stored. Hand rolls were mostly rice, the only protein is what you can see in the pic - gone in one bite of a 4 bite roll. The specialty roll was average. This was a very unpleasant experience, we will not go back and will not recommend to friends/family/yelpers. It should also be noted that we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were 3 sushi chefs behind the counter, 3 servers on the floor and 1 host. Hard to understand why the wait times were excessive and service was poor. Our server did acknowledge that the service was slow, however, he did not offer any apology, he just shrugged it off.

It was very nice that they had special customer parking, since this parking lot does get very busy. We liked the nautical esthetic outside with the vintage diving suit statue outside. We noticed there were a few tables outside and some tables inside as well. We were greeted at the door and asked to sit anywhere. We chose to sit at a 2 seat table where there a long couch on one side and chairs on the other side( you share the couch with the table next to you. I immediately noticed how crowded the restaurant is and how the regular chairs were made to fit a smaller body type. As a larger person, I sat on the couch side (which was hard to get out of without disturbing the table next to us). I did notice when we were seated that our table looked a bit dirty with something stuck on it. I ordered a ginger ale and my husband got a water. We ordered the prawns Roca for our appetizer, it was very flavorful. I ordered the Rainbow roll and my husband ordered the El Ranchero roll. My rainbow roll was very filling and had an interesting tangy flavor, similar to miracle whip My husband loved the el Ranchero roll. He really liked the unique Mexican Japan fusion flavor of it. Overall, we were happy with the food but not happy with the price. We felt it was definitely not worth the price. The knly way we'd come back is if we took advantage of the happy hour special someday.

When our first waiter came by, he took our drink order and then it honestly seemed like he forgot about us. About 10 minutes later, another waitress came over asking for our drink order, and we let her know someone had already taken it but hadn't come back yet. We were seated at a hibachi table and most of us ordered the filet mignon medium. The steak itself was tasty, but there were SO many garlic pieces on top, it was honestly a lot of garlic. The fried rice was okay, nothing really special, just egg, rice, and butter. We all received vegetables except my brother-in-law, and unfortunately nobody noticed or fixed it. The restaurant also felt a little dark and cramped inside, especially once it got busier. What felt awkward though was that by around 4:30 PM, the manager came over and basically told us they needed the table because they had more reservations waiting. We were already finishing up eating, but it had only been about an hour since we sat down. For a party of 8 on Mother's Day, it just felt rushed since most places usually allow at least an hour and a half. Overall, the food was decent and the hibachi experience was still fun, but the service and feeling rushed at the end made the experience a little uncomfortable.

I guess I'm echoing what other long term patrons have already shared. I don't see any of the lovely staff there. It feels less friendly. I used to tell other people to come here for the salmon sashimi, which was the best I had ever had... creamy, and thick generously slices. Not now. Yes, it tastes great, but the slices are very thin, almost translucent, yet the price is the same. It used to be presented on a bed of salad, with wasabi and ginger. Not anymore. Just 5 thin slices on a black platter. We had to ask for wasabi and ginger. The miso soup has barely any tofu in it. And they didn't have any beer - none at all. I think their license expired. The one server was pleasant but wasn't checking to see if we needed drink refills etc. There were literally six customers, including us. It feels like the new owners think some updated decor, which is actually nice, is all that is needed, and they can cut corners to save money elsewhere on food costs and servers. That road will only lead to closure. Tragic, really.
