One of my favorite Atlanta staples. It's so warm and welcoming every time we go. From the drinks to the food, everything is top tier in the most relaxed way. We love the dumplings, oyster mushrooms and frozen margaritas. The pizzas are also really good. We like to come here at least once a quarter. I wish it were closer to our home!

Loved JenChan's! Came here for some small plates to celebrate a friends birthday - it was very lively and vibrant inside. The street fries and dumplings were sooo good! Our waiter recommended the fried chicken, but unfortunately i was not a fan. I thought the chicken was a little dry and didnt love the sweet sauce on them. Drinks were delish and we finished the meal with a miso chocolate cookie which was also pretty good. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. Overall a 10/10 experience - I need to come back for the pizza!

This spot had been high on my list and I'm so glad I finally got to try it! We came in around 4pm on a Saturday and were seated very quickly. The inside is truly charming. Our server was so candid and made the experience that much better. The menu is so creative making it hard to even make choices or find favorites! You really cannot go wrong. Sesame Street fries -- A STAPLE! A MUST!! Szcheuan crispy sweet potatoes Chinese smashed cucumber salad 007 pizza: pesto base, fried prosciutto Biscotti chocolate cake -- the OMG dessert!!

Looking for unique? This is your spot! My husband and I appreciated the gluten free options. We had fun with the Asian pizza fusion. The fries might have been our favorite though, so tasty!

Food was good. Indoor and outdoor seating. They do charge a 5percent health insurance fee but it can be taken off if you ask.

I came in interested in some of the apps, however on Saturday and Sunday mornings they only serve the brunch menu. I waited to sit outside since such a beautiful day. Orders the pick me up Martini which was amazing. I opted for the lazzagna & birrata pizza. True to the menu notes, pizzas take longer which was fine. Beautiful day!! Pizza crust was not fully cooked in center which the manager promptly corrected. The staff was very nice. Bringing home the blueberry waffle bread pudding for hubby. Hope he likes it!!

Perfect neighborhood spot for friends and family. I saw this place on Atlanta Eats and couldn't wait to try! Great Asian fusion inspired menu. We had green beans, chicken, fried rice, dumplings, pizza, Brussels and more. Everything was delicious. Plates made for sharing with prices $9-20. Cocktails were good as well. Ginger one was the fave.

Wow. This was an excellent meal all around. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, fun, and excitement; both from the staff and the perfect cozy a space that embodies the neighborhood. Do you want to know about the food? Incredible. Every dish we had feels like it was made with intention. Handmade potstickers are bold, and fresh which felt comforting while still being creative. The wahoo cakes were a hidden gem on the menu, I'm not sure why more places don't have them. Lastly, the General Tsao pizza was an interesting choice that ended up as pure perfection. Lastly, grab that campfire drink, you're not going to be sad that it was incredible. Jen Chan's is the place you want to be. It's the kind of neighborhood spot you end up telling all your friends about. If I could give it more stars, I would!

Jen Chans is a trendy, fusion restaraunt. It is very unique in its food and environment. It is LGBTQ+ owned. The service is very warm and accepting and everyone is nice. We ordered the egg rolls and the pizza. It is handmade and scratch. If you do not have a diverse palate, I wouldn't recommend. I loved the bugolgi pizza. If you're looking for a different experience, you should try it out!

Our server was super helpful with giving us a lot of information to decide what drink and food we wanted to order. They were very knowledgeable about the flavor profiles of everything on the menu. The restaurant is small but super cute vibe inside and I never felt crowded. Their drink list is super unique with fun variations of things you would find on a normal cocktail list. My favorite dish was the shumai. We ordered one of their pizzas because they are known for them and it was good but I think I would rather try their more unique entrees next time. We did end up staying for our full allotted reservation time because the time that the food took. They do warn you that pizza takes longer to come out so be prepared to be patient. It won't be hard because they bring out your food as it's ready so you can snack while waiting and try a few of their great drink options.

The food at JenChan's is absolutely superb. It's the best dining experience we've had this year, bar none. We ordered: Coconut Curry Noodles w/ Shrimp (A+): Amazing flavor, truly dazzled us Fried Maitake Mushrooms (A+): What a surprise! Simply delicious, amazing texture General Tsao's Pizza w/ Honey Chicken (A+): So creative! Fusion cuisine at its best! Galbi Ribs (A): Probably the most flavorful galbi ribs we've ever tried Shumai Dumplings (A): Wonderful flavor and consistency 2 Desserts - Biscoff Cake & Miso Cookies (B): Average So excluding the desserts, everything we ordered at JenChan's was exceptional. We we're blown away. And the service was great as well. We plan on returning often! Highly recommended! Before tipping, we spent $123 for a two-person meal (no alcohol, only water, 5 plates plus 2 desserts).

I didn't have the best takeout experience. I ordered online and chose the option for curbside. They ask you how to identify your car, etc and the confirmation email tells you to call when you arrive. Curbside was a major reason I chose to order because I know parking can be tough in that area and I was exhausted so wanted to get in and out. But when I arrived and called they first didn't answer then answered but told me they were too busy for curbside. So I had to circle around and eventually park illegally praying I didn't get towed to run in to get my food. I just wish they had said upfront curbside wasn't available because I would have ordered elsewhere. Their page also never updated to tell me when my food was ready, I just decided I was tired of waiting. Service was so-so. I didn't feel like they cared too much since I was a takeout customer. For dinner I ordered the Coco Curry Noodles with Mongolian Beef. It had spice to it, but not a lot of flavor otherwise. Really bummed because I've been excited to try JenChan's. I may try one more time but only for dine-in. Parking: not great, limited street spots.

Walked in at 4:45 on a Sunday evening and we were seated right away. Brittany was our server and provided great service! We ordered the Ahi Tuna (9/10), Curry tossed noodles Tofu (9/10) and the peaches and burrata flatbread (7/10). Will definitely be back! Cute gem tucked in historic cabbagetown!

To start we got the lobster crawfish wontons and the seafood spring rolls. The lobster crawfish wontons have a Cajun cream cheese inside which was a flavor bomb, and the wontons were fried crispy but not oily. The sauce on top helped to cut through the richness of the wonton stuffing. It was a delicious appetizer!! The seafood spring rolls were massive, again a really good fry on them with the skin being thin and super crunchy but not overdone. The seafood inside was generous, but I would say the flavor was more just of the seafood itself instead of any special seasoning. Still good, but we preferred the wontons more! The mains were the lobster fried rice and the drunken noodles. The lobster fried rice had a gochujang flavoring but didn't have as much of a wok sear in my opinion, but was still good! The lobster was fried beautifully, where the meat was super soft and the fry on the outside was crunchy! It also came with these fried kale chips that were sooooo good, these chips had so much flavor!! My favorite was the drunken noodles, which had a lot of flavor from the wok sear and a slightly sweet and spicy sauce. We asked for chili on the side, and definitely think the added heat made this dish much more flavorful. The lobster here was also really good and well buttered! For dessert, we shared the matcha crème Brulee which was fantastic, strong matcha flavor that was tempered with the creaminess of crème Brulee. The torched sugar on top was superrrr well done, super crunchy and probably one of the best sugar torching on crème Brulee I have had!! In between each item, Jojo would clean our plates and table, and we saw him also ensuring everyone's dish was cooked to their liking. Everyone seemed to really care about the quality of the food and it made for a really nice experience! I would say the ambiance is dim lit casual to upscale, great for work events, date nights, etc. Overall a great place for flavor packed food with exceptional service!

Despite this, the restaurant was vibrant on a rainy midweek day... Almost full to capacity with patrons. Happy my partner recommended this restaurant! I sat at the bar to place my to go order and was greeted promptly by the bartender. He brought me water and provided the QR code to order. The gentleman next to me was enjoying the Bimibap which looked very enticing, but due to the cold weather, I wanted something warm. Soup was not an option and was directed to the glass noodle dish. The glass noodles were of a sweet potato consistency and included several vegetables. I did not know that the bone marrow mentioned in the description would be an actual marrow, quite large that was discovered once I dug into my dish at home. The flavors exuded were right on point! The portion was also ample for a second meal. Will definitely return to sample the Bimibap on a warmer day and possibly some of the drinks offered. I truly enjoyed the waiting period at the bar, striking up conversation and viewing Misery which was being projected on the wall... A true horror classic. I can imagine at varying times it may be a challenge to find a spot. However, and I understand this is a lot to ask for, it would've been nice to have some form of security around. A man approached me asking me for money and was extremely pushy when I apologized and said I didn't have cash. Especially as a woman, this was very intimidating and scary for me... I worried about my car being broken into since he knew which one was mine, but thankfully it wasn't. I entered the restaurant to a cool, casual ambiance. The waitstaff was attentive and pleasant. Our table shared several items tapas-style/a la carte including: beef bulgogi, Brussels sprouts, glass noodle, scallion pancake, shishito peppers, hedo bap, and I believe one of the pork and/or chicken dishes. I can't remember which, but everything we ordered was tasty! My favorite item was the glass noodles! It was served very elegantly with the bone marrow (sorry I only got a picture of the portion I put on my plate). I'd love to take my husband here soon!

I ordered the Shandong braised chicken, a dish presented with its protein resting atop a glossy sauce and a generous scattering... ten or more pieces of accompanying dough. In theory, this bread should serve as both sponge and companion, absorbing the depth of the braise and rounding the dish into comfort. In practice, it was profoundly compromised. The dough was unmistakably moldy, visibly, undeniably so. This alone is alarming in any dining establishment; it signals a breakdown not just in execution, but in fundamental kitchen vigilance. More troubling than the oversight itself was the response. When the issue was brought to the attention of the waiter, the reaction suggested familiarity rather than concern as though such an occurrence fell within the realm of the expected. There was no urgency, no visible embarrassment, no effort to meaningfully rectify the moment. The tone felt faintly dismissive. The effect on the room was immediate: the couple seated ahead of us, having witnessed the exchange, opted against ordering an entrée at all. That, in itself, speaks volumes. There were, however, redeeming elements. The spicy beef was well-prepared, delivering heat with balance rather than bravado. The diced potatoes were excellent, crisp at the edges, tender within, and seasoned with confidence. These dishes hinted at a kitchen capable of competence, even finesse, when fundamentals align. The atmosphere added an unexpected layer. Spa music drifted through the dining room an odd choice for a meal that aims to be bold and hearty, creating a tonal dissonance that never quite resolved. Service hovered in the realm of "acceptable," buoyed largely by polite refrains of "yes sir" and "no ma'am," though these formalities felt more like compensation for a lack of true attentiveness than genuine hospitality. I would not go so far as to discourage anyone from dining here. There is promise, and there are flashes of real quality. But I would offer this advice plainly and without drama: inspect your food carefully. Mold has no place on the plate, and until that reality is treated with the seriousness it demands, the experience remains compromised no matter how good the potatoes may be.
