I don't think 3 stars is fair. Look, it's definitely not fine dining but it was really good. The chicken was cooked perfectly so it was tender and juicy. The spicy teriyaki was really good with just the right sweet/heat combo. The rice was cooked well and not mushy like happens at some places. The veggies lacked a little flavor but overall it was a good lunch. The staff was quick and friendly. Meal was ready in about 7min and they even brought it to the table for me. Not a huge place but wasn't crowded so had plenty of seating. I can see parking being tight since there's a lot crammed into that area but it was fine when I arrived. read more

When this place first opened it was awesome. The chicken was grilled perfectly and service was friendly. I was a loyal customer with at least 20 visits but each time things got worse. Today was the final straw. The veggies were soggy, the chicken was dry and shredded, the $2.59 drink was served in a 12oz cup, we waited 26 minutes to get our food, their app and loyalty system never works, and when it was delivered to our table it came with the same bad additive the server was giving everyone. Recently (July/Aug 2023) teriyaki madness changed the beef they use in their beef dishes. It used to be tenderized chunks of fall-apart beef. Now it's thin strips of leathery lunch meat that is mostly gristle and fat. I tried the Johnstown and Greeley locations and both had this new meat that can best be described as looking like someone cut tongue depressors in half then mixed in some rubber bands so there would be two distinct textures. I'm guessing it was a cost saving effort from the sales reduction department. If you change it back, please reach out to me, so I will know it's safe to return, otherwise I'll eagerly be waiting to see what new restaurants lease your locations. read more

Juicy and soft and tasted great. Rice was flavorful and soft. With fresh vegetables.. Horrible tasting, food not fresh, missing ingredients, sauces very watery or curdled looking, you can always judge a restaurant by how clean their bathrooms are and horrible and stink and nasty. I probably eat here about 1-2x a month. I usually do take out or delivery, and for takeout teriyaki bowls, it's my favorite in town. I feel like you get a decent portion for what you pay. I love either the chicken katsu or spicy teriyaki chicken. The katsu sauce isnt like normal Japanese katsu sauce, so I ask for a side of Teriyaki sauce instead. read more

What a crummy experience. Whoever the young lady is that was working the front counter at 2:00 pm on the 24th is not doing your restaurant any service. She was discourteous (at best) and we could tell she wasn't paying attention. She got our order wrong and delivered it by basically dropping the trays in the table. Even by "fast food" standards the food here is not good. If you don't drown it in sriracha sauce it wouldn't be edible. The vegetables were way over cooked and the fried rice was wet. My only suggestion is that the MAD Spicy Orange Chicken YakiSoba style should have a disclaimer that it will actually burn your face off! You receive very generous portions...I get the large, which is too much for me (and I'm a pretty good eater). No shortage of protein, veggies or rice. I prefer the fried rice and chicken breast and they have amazing crab rangoon! The steak is not sliced into chunks but more shredded, so I doubt it is high-end beef, but it is preferred by my high school aged boys. There are times where they will overcook the protein and it will be a bit dry (this has happened more than once), but it's not a frequent occurrence. read more

First of all, the teriyaki chicken was fine - not overdone, savory sauce, and nicely presented. But there were several issues that are worthy of star reductions. We placed our order at the counter with a mask-less employee (in fact, all employees were without masks despite the Delta surge). It took more than 20 minutes before our food was ready. And the white rice was absolutely atrocious! Any establishment specializing in teriyaki must take rice preparation seriously. The rice that came with my order was not fresh; it had been sitting in the pot for so long, it had dried and had an off-taste. Sadly, unlike tepid french fries, you cannot send bad rice back and get a fresh batch in under an hour. Makes me wonder whether the controlling corporation requires franchisees to re-use rice from the previous day. If so, please stop! read more

I've been a customer since this location opened. The food has almost always been good, but the customer service is terrible. Food is never ready when promised after being ordered ahead online. I have had to call multiple times to get a curbside order and have waited over a half hour for it to be delivered. The staff is not friendly and always seem annoyed to have to wait on customers. Unfortunately, my last order will be my final one for this location. The teriyaki "steak" consisted of a pile of thinly sliced, dried up squares of meat. Tough, tasteless, and unmarinated. It was inedible. Thankfully, the noodles and vegetables were okay, but certainly not worth the $14 I paid for a large bowl. I guess I'll have to go back to Panda Express.
