Unfortunately i got food poisoning from here and so did my cousin who went with me, I got steak teriyaki and the noodles and my cousin got white rice and the chicken teriyaki, we both had different items and we both came down with the same symptoms. Decided to try this place out today and left very disappointed never coming back. I had 2 separate orders on one order I had ordered a bowl with white rice and spicy teriyaki chicken and the second order had 2 largest bowls. To our surprise when we got home we noticed they gave a bowl with only noodles and veggies which was supposed to be white rice and spicy teriyaki. For the 2 large bowls we added 2 proteins which is an extra cost to say each bowl was filled to the top with rice and barely any meat or chicken is disappointing. We went back to show the 2 large bowls and the 1 regular bowl that was all the way incorrect and they didnt put chicken, and all they said was they were out of it and most meats as well so that explained the portion. For the price we paid its honestly upsetting, because they shouldve told us ahead of time that they wouldnt have enoughmeats for the 2 larges bowls nor the regular. Went here for to go dinner tonight. Everyone was friendly when we walked in greeting us. There were a lot of people working. I wish I knew the girls name that took our order. She was friendly and explained all price differences to us as we asked for them. Even explained the portion sizes with meat and how that worked. We ordered waited maybe 15 minutes tops. We order the huge bowl of chicken teriyaki with steak teriyaki, rice and the veggies on the side and a steak bowl with noodles. They did not put my veggies on the side, until the people bagging it said something to them and they fixed it but left quite a bit on the bowl still. However it's not a huge deal. Came home and ate. The noodle were amazing! Steak and chicken were delicious. Definitely would eat here again. Next time probably eat inside and it would be more fresh (I live a good distance away). Ordered 2 chicken breast bowls. Was told it would take longer because it's "cooked fresh." Assumed it would be maybe 10-15minutes. It took 40 minutes and only 1 bowl had chicken breast. I have been twice since their opening. Both times the wait was unacceptable. The food was decent but not the greatest, especially for the price. There used to be a chicken teriyaki place on McHenry that charged 3.10 for the chicken bowl of similar quality. Now, I know that's not reasonable now, but it's still overpriced. Also, for some reason the next day after both visits I woke up with a headache. So I am thinking something in the sauce? MSG maybe? I may eventually try it again, if I get that nasty headache the next day then I will know as that will be 3x!
