Good cafe for chicken teriyaki bowls. I went with a Large Spicy Chicken Teriyaki bowl combo and it hit the spot. The chicken was on the bed of rice, with steamed veggies to the side. The chicken was very well marinated in teriyaki sauce, was juicy, tender and the spice had a perfect kick to it. The combo came with a drink and a chicken eggroll, which was super yummy-- crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and it was not one of those ultra small eggrolls. All in all, a great food experience for that quick lunch. The place itself is clean and has multiple tables for dining in. The customer service was excellent. I feel like that had the food been prepared properly this would have actually been really good but sadly both the salmon and the chicken were overcooked to the point the salmon was practically inedible. The chicken was overcooked but was edible and the teriyaki sauce on the side helped it go down. The rice ans veggies were probably the best part hut honestly we spent $30 plus dollars at this place for overcooked inedible food so I'm very disappointed. Maybe another location will be better, maybe the cooks were having an off night? I will say the gentleman at the front counter was very nice and the facility itself was pretty clean and well organized though we did takeout. I ordered a regular size teriyaki steak bowl with yakisoba noodles and a 6pc. Crab ragoons. My friends got their order in about 3 min. My order took a little bit over a half hour!!! I initially came in to use the bathroom with my son but her energy and kindness and great spirit made me want to sit down and eat so we bought a meal it was so good ! my son loved it . Purchased the double protein plate on Uber Eats app. First, you have to pick two proteins. You are not given the option to order two of the same proteins, so i begrudgingly ordered the spicy teriyaki as the second protein option. Disgusting. Does not even taste like a teriyaki. I get that it's spicy, but the teriyaki profile is not even the main flavor. Skimpy on the veggies. Additionally, the vegetables were way over cooked. The rice was smushy and also overcooked. Uber bill was $32 for this plate (combo). Ended up throwing it away. I'm really getting tired of restaurants charging ridiculous price and giving you garbage for food. I know the prices of everything has gone up because of inflation and wages but lately they've been giving you less and less meat under large size teriyaki chicken with rice and now in the last week or two instead of giving you the large size cup of the teriyaki sauce that comes prepackaged, they give you the super small size that they pour individual cups They used to be about $10 prior to the pandemic with nice serving sizes and now it's about $17 I would expect more for paying more However, the quality is amazing and a healthier choice and the place is very clean But they're skinny too much off the top by charging more and giving less lately read more

I ordered catering for an office event and wow! Customer service was excellent. They answered all of my questions before I decided to put in the order. On the day of last Friday, the food was ready for pickup when I arrived. They did take an extra few minutes on the orange chicken and spicy tofu to guarantee its quality, but in the meantime I put everything else in the car. They labeled everything, gave me more than enough plates, forks, napkins, serving forks, sauces, and even coupons. The food was so good and a hit with my coworkers. Some even requested I get catering from here again for our next office event. I should have taken photos, but I was so busy and focused on making sure the day went smoothly with all the stuff we had planned. I also ended up having more than enough food, but my coworkers and supervisors where more than happy in taking the leftovers home. The most notable foods were the fried rice, spicy tofu, steak teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, egg rolls, and the stir fry veggies. So looks like I'll be ordering catering again and once I'm done with the leftovers, I'll probably stop by for lunch or dinner. Not gonna lie, I may be bias - but this is earned bias. I'm totally in love with this place. I prefer this location because of its proximity to my place of employment, but the one south of here is just as good. The owner, who I believe I bumped into twice (once at each location), has an amazing spirit and personality. She prioritizes the customers in a way you won't find at any of their competitors - and this is clearly a standard given the warm welcome their staff has always given me. Food is a bit pricey but I've never had an issue with their portions - and I work full time so fuq it Joking aside... The place feels very open, they also have a more intimate section off to the side with a few tall tables. The staff seemed nice but I got a different vibe here, in contrast with the truman store. The food was yummy, of course. I chose the orange chicken with noodles and veggies. Tasted great but there was a lot more cabbage than usual and only two or three small broccoli and two thinly sliced zucchini slices, which made me sad because I love zucchini. That was really disappointing, I ended up just having the chicken with noodles and giving my mom the cabbage. I'm going to give three stars to draw attention to the veggie distribution, but I will be back and hopefully there is more variety and not just cabbage. read more
