This place is AMAZINGG! It's a small unassuming little shop on a very busy street. The plaza it sits in is very small, with very limited parking but you can park anywhere on the street which is nice. Friend recommended the #12 chicken katsu plate, for $7.69. You get SOOO much food. It comes with a large side of rice, two rows of perfectly fried chicken katsu, a decently sized side of salad, and 4-5 pieces of fried goodies (dumplings and wontons). More than enough food for one person. The lady that takes your order is SUPER nice and friendly. The sauce for the katsu is perfect, which I think is the same sauce for the teriyaki and other stuff. When you order, or maybe I'm just special, the boss-lady relays the order to her cooks who all reply with a shout. It was cute but surprising. Food: Large portions of your order over hot rice. Service is very friendly. There's a middle-aged Asian woman who always takes your order with a smile and brings your food out when it's ready. Be aware that there is a minimum $10 order if you want to use credit cards here, otherwise they charge you something like $0.30 or $0.35. Also, be sure to pick up their menu and order ahead because it takes them 10-15 minutes to cook your food. This is important especially when things get busy here and there's several orders ahead of you. The parking situation isn't great and there are no spots inside the lot when it gets busy; but there is plenty of parking on the street. I usually order the #8, which the chicken and beef combo; This includes rice with some teriyaki sauce on it, 2 potstickers, salad, some sort of sugared cookie, and of course a skewer of chicken and beef. i don't care much for the salad or potstickers, and the rice is only so-so but oh man the chicken and beef are good. they are grilled to perfection and wonderfully marinated. the place is sort of on the expensive side; but the food you get (which is pretty significant) makes up for it as well as the friendly service. The other night was my first time trying Teriyaki Plus. The initial experience was nice. The Cashier was sweet and the cooks were also friendly. Unfortunately, a warm smile means nothing when there is a huge lack of common sense and logical thinking. I went into this restaurant for one thing and one thing only, VEGETABLE Gyozas. As soon as I saw them on the menu I was thrilled. It actually is quite hard to find a restaurant that serves VEGETABLE gyozas. Most only have chicken or pork. Any who, I was delighted that they had VEGETABLE gyozas on the menu because I am VEGETARIAN!!! I clearly ordered the VEGETABLE gyozas and even repeated my order and had a mini conversation about how happy I was they had them. I even had an additional conversation with one of their regular customers about what I ordered and the struggle of finding VEGETABLE gyozas. So as I'm driving down the street I'm eating the gyozas and I begin to smell MEAT !!' so I stop the car and turn on the lights. I see this substance that could be meat but because it was chopped so finely it was unrecognizable so I went back to the restaurant to double check. Turns out the restaurant no longer serves VEGETABLE gyozas, only still have them on the menu ! I told the cashier I was a vegetarian and how sickened I was by this experience. No offense but it was almost like I was talking to someone who has absolutely no understanding of life. She just smiled at me. No Sorry, Nothing ! She looked in the box and said "Well, you at 4" ??? As if I wanted to eat 4 CHICKEN Gyozas !!! She asked the cooks what she should do and literally stood there contemplating how much money to give me back ! Although it would be professional and appropriate to refund me my money, that sadly was not he point ! I'm a fucking VEGETARIAN and now I ate meat and my stomach was in pain all night ! I left the remaining 6 gyozas on the counter and left. Will never be back. And will Shame this place until a true apology is made !!! read more

A great little hole in the wall teriyaki shop! Whenever I'm in the area, this is definitely one of my favorite places to go. They have extremely large portions for a pretty good price. I usually get the beef, chicken, and shrimp combo which comes with rice, deep fried vegetables, and salad. The salad dressing is so amazing and I can't find anywhere else that has a dressing similar to it. The meat is skewed on a stick and tastes great with their signature teriyaki sauce. If you still feel empty after your meal, the fried dumplings is a great addition. It's quite flavorful. Parking is fairly easy and the workers are very friendly. Seating is bench style in a covered patio. A lot of reviewed complained about the gyoza - tasted fine to me. Would like to go back and try shrimp tempura because the menu photos looked good. My husband loves this place, but to me it's just alright. The portions are definitely generous and their prices are okay. I have been passing this restaurant for a couple of years. I always look in but there is rarely anybody inside eating. I have been curious until last week. I was going by for the umpteenth time and I decided to go in and eat. I ordered the Teriyaki Short Ribs and they were amazing. I also figured out that most people seem to order their food to take home. I went in a week later and ordered the Short Ribs again and they were just as good as the previous ribs I ordered(Amazing). It saddens me to think that I wasted a year not eating at this place because I was turned off by the ghettoness of the location and street-view appearance of the building. A great experience from start to finish: Upon first ordering, the Asian lady at the window has always been very sweet. After putting in our order at the window, she brings us out a little pitcher of water with two cups. There are two tvs in the place, the indoor one always on Discovery Channel and the outdoor tv always on CNN (thank you Teriyaki Plus!). Since I only eat white meat chicken, I am super grateful that Teriyaki Plus offers a white meat chicken menu item. The food is always superb and their chicken pot stickers are amongst some of the best restaurant pot stickers I've had. There is a bottle of hot sauce and teriyaki sauce on each table to add a little extra to your dish if desired. In my mind this is worth noting since I've been to several Japanese food places that actually charge extra for additional teriyaki sauce. We've never had a problem finding an open table, since it is rare that there is every anyone in there. With that in mind, give this place a chance so I can continue to enjoy this local Japanese food treasure. read more
