I can't say enough good things about A La Diabla Sushi--we keep coming back because we love it that much. The food is consistently amazing, fresh, and full of flavor every single time. The service is just as impressive. Gabe, our waiter, was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. Diego at the bar absolutely nailed the drinks, and Joanna, the manager, clearly runs a great operation--everything feels smooth and well taken care of. It's rare to find a spot that delivers both great food and great service consistently, but this place does it every time. Definitely one of our go to stops.

Some of the sushi is pretty spicy so beware! I'd love the three sauce sushi roll. The sauces are very yummy, but I couldn't enjoy some of them because it was just too spicy for me. I love to get their platters.

Great food and even better service! Alex, Bella, and Crystal were all so friendly, attentive, and made our experience enjoyable. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Ive been coming here since they opened and this place never disappoints. El chilango always gets down and they have great service very fun atmosphere . I've tried almost every sushi roll From the menu and they're all so good. 10/10 recommend this restaurant

Came in with my mom and uncle on Sunday 5/17. The restaurant itself is nice and the food presentation was great, but the service was terrible. Our waitress ignored us most of the time, never brought our drinks or plates, and another employee ended up doing it after we had to ask. She spent more time talking with the drunk table behind us than checking on us and only came by once we were basically done eating. To make things worse, my uncle pulled a long strand of hair out of the first sushi roll he was about to eat. Overall, really disappointing experience and definitely not service deserving of the tip that was left at all. My uncle is way too nice and left $60 tip for the shittiest table service ever. Never coming to this location again i definitely recommend their SF location doe, the vibes were great and our waiter was so attentive of us despite it being a busy Friday night.

I'm not sure if I ordered sushi or a crime scene. I paid $18.99 for what was supposed to be Sushi Roll, but what arrived was a disorganized heap of ingredients drowning in a swamp of sauce. I expected premium quality. Instead, I got a portion size that is not worth waht i paid for "Sushi" usually implies some level of craft. This looks like someone put a roll in a blender, added a cup of spicy mayo, and hoped for the best. You can't even see the fish through the sludge of red onions, cilantro, and oil. The Mess: It's so over-sauced that the rice has lost all structural integrity. It's less of a finger food and more of a "eat it with a spoon and regret your life choices" situation. Save your twenty bucks. You can get better presentation and more food from a grocery store clearance rack at 9 PM. Absolute disappointment.

Al la diabla is officially my new favorite sushi spot. Everything was fresh & flavorful. I definitely recommend trying their Agua Chiles roll. The vibes were perfect, with great music. Our server was super attentive and made the whole experience even better.

I go to the valleys beat sushi's; Shibuya, Chiba, Brothers, So Sushi and the likes but some days I crave a fun and cheap spot with good tolls. That's when Ala Diabla comes into play. Such good deals and decent flavored rolls. Kids love it here, I love the fun. I get their sweet chili wings and sake bomb my heart away with their pretty interesting rolls. Come for the fun!

Amazing food with that secret fusion touch. Great staff from servers to chefs and plenty of parking. Thanks guys definitely coming back and recommend the restaurant.

I went to eat here for lunch with co workers. The sushi was fresh and had great flavor! There is a bar and larger tv screens that with sports playing. The decor is nice and inviting. They have some specials especially around lunch time on game days. The staff was accommodating and came by frequently to check in our food and service. I had the rattlesnake roll so good that I looking forward to coming back. I definitely recommend trying this place if you're close by! :)

While waiting in line, I watched the customer ahead of me have his poke mixed with sauces in a separate bowl before being placed on top of the rice and greens. The employee never asked him beforehand if he wanted it mixed and the customer never requested it, it was simply done as part of the preparation. When I requested the same thing for my order, I was told I needed to have asked beforehand and that it couldn't be done. After I explained that I wanted it prepared the same way as the customer before me, the employee appeared frustrated by the request. What made the interaction particularly uncomfortable was that when he went to the back to get a mixing bowl, there was a loud crash of stainless-steel bowls that could be heard from the front counter. It sounded as though multiple bowls had been dropped or slammed together. This stood out because moments earlier, when he prepared the bowl for the customer ahead of me, everything was done quietly and without any issue. Whether intentional or not, it gave the impression that he was upset about my request. At that point, I told him not to worry about mixing it and asked for all of my sauces on the side so I could do it myself. I also requested an extra container so I could mix everything on my own. Later there was additional confusion regarding the sauces and what was included. I repeatedly offered to pay for any extra sauces if necessary, but the conversation still felt argumentative rather than helpful. The food was actually pretty good, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, the customer service made me feel unwelcome and almost caused me to leave before ordering. Consistency and attitude matter just as much as the food, and this experience fell short of what I expected.

It's true that you can get fresh, good sushi at places like Katsuya and the like, but their offerings have lost their edge and lost their excitement, while I've lost my will to pony up big bucks for meals from chefs who'd rather be watching Obsession at the multiplex. And so, Miho is the antithesis of all that pescatarian homogenization. This cozy nook manages to have everything you want: toro (fresh, fatty and fabulous), Saba (smoked and savory chewiness), Uni with Quail Egg (rich and decadent), and Ankimo (monkfish liver, mild and very satisfying). Sake is cold and reasonably priced, while the service is friendly and completely tuned in to each customer. To finish my meal, I asked the chef to make me a hand roll version of one of their most abundant dishes: the New Guy Roll. Bursting at the seams with Spicy shrimp & crab, shrimp tempura, avocado, creamy sauce and eel sauce, it wasn't easy for them to reconfigure and re-portion everything into a handheld model -- but do it they did, and the result was both tasty and manageable. Make no mistake, Miho is a gem that's hidden in plain sight, in a storefront between Round Table Pizza and The Sugar Mill Saloon, and they're serving some of the best sushi you'll get in Tarzana. Go. I LOVE SUSHI...and it really doesn't matter if it's Ralphs, Nobu, or Kura Revolving Sushi...HOWEVER!!!!!!!!!! and I mean this, HOWEVER!!!!!!!! Miho is the only spot that matters if you are looking for a place to go that's not stupid expensive or mediocre quality just to get your fix. Miho IS EXACTLY the opposite of that. Miho is well priced, pinnacle quality and exceptional service!!!! It's a small hole in the wall off of Ventura Blvd in Tarzana and although we were hesitant at first, we decided to give it a shot. How could a sushi join in a largely jewish strip mall be any good...well, because they're some of the nicely, most talented Chefs, that how! The presentation of the rolls, the nigiri and the sashimi is gorgeous and if you sit at the bar the speed the sushi comes out makes you feel like you're the only person in the restaurant (who wouldn't like that?). We had to wait about 15min to get in, there's typically a wait but it's a wait well worth it and honestly it's more exciting this way. Plenty of Parking...unlike Nobu or Sugarfish or Katsuya type places so why waste the time....Good idea GO TO MIHO instead. Support your local shops, Miho is the spot! Go! Thank me later!
