AMAZING!!! The food was out of this world. The mushroom pizza was one of the best pizzas I have ever had. They made pizza taste so good. The appetizer was delicious. Very creative with ingredients but everything just went so perfectly together. Desserts were also delicious. The meals were from their fall/winter menu and I cannot wait to try their summer menu. Small restaurant but super cozy. Service was amazing and overall fell in love with the place. Highly recommended it!

SCP Mendocino feels like home -- it's so quaint & cozy, and Terra Farm Kitchen reflects the same warmth! Everything is so wholesome with ingredients from the farm & garden found on the grounds. Service was amazing, our waitress was helpful and so friendly! We were debating between 2 wines and she offered a tasting of both to help us choose. She also told us her favorites on the menu and they did not miss! For appetizers, we ordered the cauliflower that came with a divine yogurt sauce, brussel sprouts fried to perfection with hazelnuts on top (game changer!) and a delicious squash salad with a light lemon vinaigrette. These dishes were so good we literally had them again the next day! For the mains, we ordered two pizzas -- the fungo patata and apple salsiccia. The toppings were great, generous, and I especially loved the fungo patata! Only thing that could have made the pizzas better is a fluffier pizza crust. I would absolutely be back here! Great experience, delicious options, amazing service. PS come before sunset to say hello to the llamas and chickens :)

The food was delicious here! Highly recommend visiting. Their little farmstead was precious! You get to feed the chickens and pet the llamas. The service was great. Highly impressed!

Smokehouse Pizza - great flavors and crispy crust!!

What a pleasure to see the new local venue, serenity, cool vibes, beautiful setting and a natural setting capturing the beauty of the North Coast, looking forward to trying the other offerings - that blue cheese stuffed pear is calling me!

Service: Adrienne, thank you for your professionalism, proactive management, and commitment to ensuring our order was delivered on schedule. Atmosphere: The facility was well-maintained, comfortable, and expansive. While the table sizes were somewhat compact, they remained functional for our dining needs. I would recommend utilizing the patio seating, weather permitting, as it offers a superior and more spacious environment. One thing I would recommend, is to call for reservations. Food: The restaurant featured an outstanding selection of fine cuisine. We began our meal with an order of sautéed wild scallops accompanied by Meyer lemon marmalade; the quality was such that we promptly ordered a second serving, which proved to be an excellent value. Additionally, the pepper lemon soup was exceptionally well-prepared. Selecting a main course proved challenging due to the quality of the options, such as the flat iron steak, but I ultimately chose the catch of the day, rock cod. The dish was expertly seasoned, presented with artistic care, and served in a generous portion. My wife selected the grilled pork chop, served with grilled baby carrots, cauliflower, and wild rice. She noted that the dish offered a sophisticated balance of sweet and savory notes, specifically commending the tenderness and high quality of the pork. For dessert, we enjoyed the honeycomb sundae, an exceptional offering topped with syrup, chocolate cookies, and whipped cream. Should you have room for dessert, I highly recommend their house-made specialty selections crafted by their own pastry chef. Location: The proximity to the venue allowed us to explore Mendocino's local culture and numerous independent shops on foot. The combination of pleasant weather and the coastal breeze defined the unique character of this town, leaving us with a strong impression of going back to old West. Spirits/ Wine Selection: The selection was exceptionally comprehensive and featured an extensive array of local wines. Guests have the flexibility to purchase beverages by the glass, half-bottle, or full bottle.

We were seated outside, which was lovely, and the atmosphere itself was great. Unfortunately, the service completely changed the tone of the entire evening. Our waitress came to the table seeming angry, exhausted, and visibly irritated from the beginning. She was abrupt, unfriendly, and honestly couldn't even seem to fake being pleasant. We went out of our way to be kind, patient, and upbeat with her, hoping maybe her demeanor would soften, but it never did. Instead, the energy she brought to the table was so negative that by the end of dinner, our happy group was tired, uncomfortable, and ready to go home. It is amazing how one person's attitude can completely change an evening. We ordered a full meal, and the bill came to around $300. After such poor service, we certainly would not have chosen to leave a 20% tip--only to discover that a 20% gratuity had been automatically added because we were a larger party. I understand automatic gratuities for large groups, but it is incredibly frustrating to be required to leave 20% on a roughly $300 bill for service that was genuinely unpleasant. I've never been particularly excited about eating at Patterson's, but after this experience, I won't be returning. Mendocino is a hospitality town, and being made to feel like an inconvenience for simply coming in for dinner is not an experience I care to repeat.

I'm also glad we made a reservation to go because there was a line at opening on a Saturday night. We ordered the calamari, carbonara and the funghi ravioli, and the crème brûlée for dessert. The calamari was standard but nothing to write home about; I personally wasn't a fan of the house sauce and prefer an aioli. The carbonara was standout, with the right consistency and a good portion of pancetta. I am disappointed I ordered the fungui ravioli over the vongole clam linguini dish. I like mushrooms but it was actually a little too mushroomy for me, and I think the ravioli was over cooked because the whole dish just felt mushy. There was also too much cheese; I love Parmesan but it actually felt overpowering with this dish. The crème brûlée was great. The restaurant was packed but not overwhelming (still felt intimate and quiet), it felt warm and inviting, and our waitress was very friendly. The pacing of the food was perfect, where we could enjoy a bottle of wine and the different courses without feeling rushed. Would definitely come back!

We grabbed our ice cream and found a number of inside tables to relax in and enjoy our sweets. There are also upstairs and outside tables. My wife loved her Hokey Pokey, and I tried it as well and agreed - a unique concoction and delicious! I found my Candy Cap Mushroom OK, but not a favorite. Certainly points for originality (where else can you find one?) but my tastebuds like something a little sweeter. For me it was a little too like vanilla, my least liked flavor. But I won't ding them for a personal preference, as there was nothing wrong with the quality. Great location for Mendocino ice cream - although maybe next time it's the Hokey Pokey for me.
