Nice restaurant located inside Ritz Carlton near the pool area. We walked in during breakfast time but we were just having coffee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were offering breakfast buffet at the time but they were not bothered when we requested only cappuccinos. We were in a business coffee meeting and the staff respected our time by not interrupting frequently but always taking care of us and keeping us posted on changes in the restaurant during our visit. Excellent service and delicious coffee. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the food but the breakfast buffet seemed very organized and well kept. read more

Came here as a local looking for the quintessential (and seemingly elusive) Sunday buffet brunch in Naples... like the me might easily find in any metro area throughout the mid Atlantic and northeast. While we we're disappointed in the overall offerings on the buffet (as we were looking for a real brunch, not just breakfast) this is a nice breakfast buffet with fresh, well maintained and well prepared food along with gracious and friendly service. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, eggs Benedict , home fries, bacon (both crispy as well not for you people that like soggy bacon), sausage links, mini Belgian waffles, pancakes, freshly made pastries, sticky buns, bagels, etc. Also included is a lox bar, fresh fruit, steel-cut oatmeal bar, cereals, bagels, muffins, and of course, not to be forgotten... an omelette bar. The quality of food, exceptional... especially given the place was not all that busy and things could have easily been left to die in the buffet line. In fact, this is why I'm giving a 4 vs 3 star review as ultimately, if I were looking for a "brunch" buffet, this is not where I'd come after seeing their offerings. From a value perspective, $30 for a breakfast only buffet... yeah, I guess steep for what it is... but, if you think about the fact it's at a high end hotel, I don't know that I'd consider it overly expensive... especially considering most 3 star hotels offer similar buffets for only a few bucks less. If you have a few kids... especially teens... this place is actually a hell of a deal as kids (not sure the age cut off) are only $14... All in all, while it wasn't was I was actually looking for in a brunch buffet (only BFast items) I was content with the experience. Would I go out of my way to come for Brunch or breakfast??? Mmmmm, I wouldn't say that... What I can say however, after careful study of the menu along with the buffet, for those who are staying in this hotel, I honestly see little reason to venture off grounds to breakfast for any reason other than a change of scenery or different menu items... from a price perspective; one of the few hotels I've ever been to that are pretty close in price to surrounding BFast joints. Also, while I'm sure they may not appreciate me advertising this, I've found that during times of lower occupancy, the staff around the pool may take a blind eye to locals using said facilities so long as they are spending money at the bars and restaurants surrounding the pool and being respectful to the guests a property... so perhaps you think of the premium less like an expensive breakfast and more like a nice experience if you're smart and play your cards right. read more

We had breakfast two different times during our stay. We had the buffet both times. They offer a full selection of hot and cold breakfast items. The omelet station has a complete selection of vegetables, as well as bacon or ham. . They also have several types of cheese that you may select. All of the traditional breakfast buffet items are available: sausage bacon, ham, and potatoes. They also have pancakes and Belgian waffles. There is a section of breads that include bagels, muffins, and assorted pastries., and many more items. Coffee or juice is included with the breakfast. They also have a menu for anyone that does not wish to have the buffet. read more

We came here for both the continental breakfast and dinner when we stayed here so I'll review both. Continental breakfast: The buffet had a decent selection though I'm not sure worth the price. The most unique part was probably their bread selection. My favorites were the pretzel roll with ham and cheese blintzes. But otherwise, nothing too stand out. Dinner: Like breakfast, the food was pretty good but not necessarily worth the price even though they were similar to Chicago Italian food prices. We'd started with the arancini for an appetizer which according to the menu came with spicy tomato sauce. The sauce was pretty bland but the arancini were nice and cheesy. We got the papardelle ($22) and the seafood pasta ($26). Both had handmade noodles and ok flavor but nothing that was too unique. The best part was definitely the dessert trio they brought us to celebrate our birthdays. It had an apple tart, pistachio cheesecake and chocolate mousse. The apple tart was nice and flaky and the chocolate mousse came with light crackers to contrast the thick mousse. read more

I went there for their Sunday brunch buffet. It's $30 and its at The Ritz so you think it's going to be top-notch but, it's just "meh' and I won't be back. There were a few items on the small buffet that were good. The blueberry muffin and the orange juice where both great but no free mimosas you'd expect with a high priced small buffet. We ordered Bloody Marys which were nearly $20 a piece making our breakfast for 2 people $110 - I love to splurge so had it been great I'd have no issue with the price. It's upsetting to pay that much and not have it be 5-star. Also the reviews on no coffee refills... yup, I got one small cup (which was cold) and was never even offered a refill and the salmon wasn't fresh in the slightest. Great Sunday brunch buffet. One of the best in Naples. It was hard to find a Sunday brunch buffet in Naples in May, but we did. Huge selection of breakfast and lunch items. Omletes made to order, scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, waffles, oatmeal, potatoes, cheese blintzes, eggs benedict, incredible sticky buns, croissants, chocolate croissants, coffee cake, muffins, cereal, bagels, fresh orange juice, mimosas, and I am sure I missed more. All the best quality and the staff is incredibly nice. Lunch comes out at 11:30, so the breakfast items are limited after that. They add a carving station, fish, pasta, and more. Most of the breakfast items stay. The sticky buns were the best, covered in gooey pecans. The restaurant itself is a bit cramped for the buffet, but the food is top notch. read more

Food was very good. High quality. I will give them that. (Maybe a little over seasoned filet But perfectly cooked.) We had a delicious meal here last night. Our waitress Jen was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. She explained the dishes in great detail and was attentive but allowed us to enjoy our dinner at a relaxed pace. The food is farm to table with pastas and desserts made in house. UPDATE: This place has gone from Bad to Sad. Had friends in from out of town staying at the Ritz they wanted to eat there so I met them. Although the food looked better than Olive Garden, it had less flavor. Also the kitchen not only miss timed every single dish, but they also got two out of three wrong and in one instance oh, got it wrong a second time. Management offered the cursory apology and insisted upon sending that one dish out a third time. Ultimately although friendly, both management and our servers were completely inept. But nobody felt worse than me, because I had had a really bad experience the last time I was there yet didn't tell my friends about it because they'd already planned on eating there and simply invited me to join them. We stayed at the Ritz Carlton last month and popped in here for dinner. I'm big on aesthetics and Terrazza hits the mark with a polished yet inviting atmosphere. I wasn't aligning with our server's approach however. I'm sure she meant well, but I found her a tad unprofessional in her approach, especially when I received my gluten-free pasta and she came out clapping her hands flamboyantly, exclaiming: "Yay! You get to have something different tonight!". We were seated on the terrace and by the time our meals arrived, there was an onslaught of flies and insects! I've been to Florida numerous times but never in the summer and as I understand now, this comes with the territory. I wish our server had mentioned the possibility of this happening before we were seated on the terrace! Our saving grace that night was the restaurant manager (I believe his name is Michael, tall handsome guy, short black hair, wedding band) who came outside at just the right time and asked us if we were okay. He mentioned that this is normal during summer in Florida and he would be happy to move us inside. Once seated inside, he apologized and offered us free dessert. Now that's service! I ordered 'Anabella's Octopus' for an appetizer and it was so delicious. As a Portuguese guy, I grew up eating octopus and not everyone does it right. I still think about the octopus here and wished I had asked for the recipe! So tender and bursting with flavour! I had gluten free pasta with seafood. I asked our server about the sauce, and she explained the pasta and seafood would be tossed in olive oil and garlic. Personally, I like my pasta ai frutti di mare tossed in a nice marinara or vongole sauce. She assured me that a marinara sauce would be no problem. Well, I didn't quite get a marinara sauce, but the dish was tasty enough and I ate it. Dessert was lovely: 2 choices, both in stemless martini glasses. The first: a layered mousse cup with chocolate on top and what tasted to me like passionfruit on bottom. I asked our server if it was indeed passionfruit and she agreed. The second was simply fresh chopped strawberries tossed in a syrup and garnished with some cookie and whipped cream. I asked our server what the strawberries were tossed in and upon returning from the kitchen, she responded with 'it's a basic fruit coulis'. Gee thanks, that really answers my question. What kind of fruit coulis? A somewhat lovely evening over all due largely in part to the wonderful manager. And that octopus! read more

We are staying at RitzNaples for a few nights, and found a GEM!!! A wonderful Italian restaurant Terrazza, nestled in with the few restaurants at the Ritz Carlton at Naples. We were seated outside. The waitress was fabulous, helpful and incredibly pleasant. The food was all hand and homemade! The octopus was exceptional!!! All pasta made at the restaurant. The eggplant best had anywhere, including the north end in Boston!! The desserts wonderful.. everything to perfection. Come for dinner!! Live in Naples? Looking for a Pleasant evening? You must find this tucked away gem. Loved the wine list. If we lived in Naples this would be our go to private place. We loved our evening dinner!! read more

This spot has good food, but terrible service. The waiter did not tell us his name (for good reason because the service is terrible here) AND TOOK IT UPON HIMSELF TO LEAVE A TIP FOR HIMSELF!!! I have never had such terrible and self-serving, self-involved, and overall selfish service in my entire life. The waiter clearly thought himself better than his current profession and made this known to his customers which he was attending to. I could not catch the waiters name, but he was a white male, slim build, light brown hair, working Wednesday nights, and if you are unfortunate enough to receive this man as a waiter, you are better off going to The Grill, Gumbo Limbo, or any other Ritz affiliated restaurant. This man is a disgrace to luxury service and was demeaning to me and every WOMAN in my party - they were all very upset with how they were treated by this terrible employee. This man severely hurt a multi-grand experience at the Ritz by ruining my party and my family's experience at Terrazzo. THE JOB OF THIS MAN WAS VERY EASY, AND HE COULD NOT DEAL WITH IT. Don't expect coffee refills in your tiny coffee cup. Prices are high and service is low. You feel a bit trapped as to go out for breakfast it is a huge ordeal so you opt for the only choice. It is a pretty place and you can sit outside but food is just ok with a high price tag. No free wifi so if you read your news on an iPad again you pay....and pay. read more

Firstly, my wife conferred with the manager about our kids' food allergies. She was great. We arrived for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. The wait staff was great. The atmosphere was very relaxed, although they could use a little more lighting. We stared with calamari which was, arguably, the best I have had, and I'm from Northern NJ, which says a lot. They were extremely accommodating and thoughtful. The homemade pasta and seafood was clearly homemade and cooked to perfection (al Dente). It was fantastic. My wife had the chicken, which she loved and I thought was very good as well. I also had a Moscow Mule which had a light, refreshing touch. We dined at Terrazza for breakfast. The hostess was welcoming and personable. Service declined after that. The waitress who I've decided not to name mumbled incoherently about the breakfast specials. She did not appear to be a "people person" which is fine, unless your job is in the service industry! After the meal was served, she never checked on us the entire time we were eating and so my water glass was empty. When helping a nearby table, she would walk right by us without eye contact even though I tried to catch her attention. We flagged someone down for water and the check. She brought the check without a word and left. As a result of this less than Waffle House acceptable service, let alone the Ritz where a mediocre scrambled eggs breakfast cost $20 plus, I will be eating breakfast the rest of my week's stay in town. Thankfully, the other Ritz restaurants (Gumbo Limbo, Dusk, and The Grill) open for later meals, have had excellent service and food. We split a Cesar salad, Calamari and Shrimp appetizer, and I had the Seafood Pasta Dish and wife had the Pappardelle Pasta Dish, and split a desert. Was filling and extremely tasteful. We decided to stop in for lunch as we live close by. From the greeters to the wait staff everything was superb. There really isn't a view from this restaurant which is a shame since the Gulf is steps away but the food compensated. I am a hamburger snob and I am usually disappointed. Happy to say that I had one of the best burgers here that I have ever had! My husband had the Grouper Piccato and he loved it. The bread service includes little foccacia bites that are incredible! Just another wonderful part of the Ritz. The breakfast experience is something you will not forget. I would not waste time looking at the menu just sign on for the buffet. The price is almost the same as ordering an an item from the menu. The choices are plentiful. I highly recommend the pecan rolls with the walnuts. Could eat these all day. Sitting outside in the morning under the sunshine is a nice way to start the day. As usual the service was over the top. They are great at anticipating your every need. As an added touch if you go there two days in a row they will remember you and your previous day order. Quite a feat!! Why go anywhere else for breakfast when the atmosphere set the tone for the day. The hotel grounds transport you to an entirely different dimension where currency is limitless and immaculate Phalaenopsis gingerly dangle about, completely oblivious that their less-perfect cousins fetch $29.99 a pop at the Whole Foods down the street. I researched sunset times on Google and made reservations on Open Table 15 mins before. This is paramount. Sunsets are surreal and the setting is fit for exploration of novel Florida landscapes rivaling Conquistadors. Clearly, it goes without saying that service was on par with The White House Correspondents' Dinner (sans annoying one-liners). From white glove valet down to the finely dressed restaurant manager, my girlfriend and I were saturated in a high-class affair. Despite the grandeur the fare at Terrazza was well within the sub-$150.00 weekday budget, including alcohol (though my girlfriend did not order an entree) and a few apps. I had the tuna pappardelle, which was fantastic. The apps were forgettable the minute I tasted the rich pasta dish with thick, freshly prepared noodles and perfectly cooked tuna. Granted it was pretty dead (out of season) but still romantic enough and the beautiful weather made dining al fresco nothing short of a necessity. If you can spring for it, this is an absolute must. read more

A good dining experience is priceless. Terrazza, in the Ritz Carlton, Naples fell seriously short of this experience. It was Christmas Day dinner with the family and our expectations were high, considering the establishment. We arrived and our reservations were for 5:00 pm. When we arrived, they were not prepared on time. The food selection was minimal, but worst of all, cold. Apparently, they had an issue with their steam trays. Cold mashed potatoes, cold mushroom truffle soup, when the salad is hotter than the food, you know there is an issue. The waiter, Adam was sympathetic and concerned about our horrible experience. If it had been any other night, we could have left and went elsewhere to eat. However, being Christmas Day, the options were limited. Very disappointed and will definitely not be returning.
