Brand new hotel! Opened its doors a little over 4 weeks ago. We stayed for one night and the room was amazing! Our room was the premium Studio Suite with a great view of Bryant Park and the Bank of America tower from our bed. The Complimentary Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. In the bathroom, the rainfall shower was impressive and added to the spa like feel. Top of the line comfort and quality. The staff on the 6th floor Terrazzo were extremely friendly and helpful. They served a delicious complimentary breakfast. The overall design of the room was modern, spacious, and very user friendly. NYC can be very overwhelming but the design of the hotel and room certainly made for a relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, service, and easy accessibility to the popular sights in midtown. Wow. Where do I begin? Maybe where my husband and I began our search for the perfect hotel for our first family trip.We were celebrating many things so this trip was important to us and Terrazo Bryant Park/Park Terrace Hotel saw it through. Staff: Each and every staff is very welcoming. From the manager, the front desk to the breakfast bar, and staff we came across in the elevator or hallway. Our toddler felt so at home. They each have wonderful suggestions for places to eat-be specific with what youre looking for. Amenities: They provide refillable water bottles At every floor-a big plus. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion is made in Italy. Nespresso machine is the one thing I'll miss most. Gym on ground floor Room: Lets just say it was a good enough size for a toddler to run around and enjoy. TV cable is spotty but nonetheless it was nice that it swivles so you can watch from the bed or the couch. Breakfast buffet: every morning with a nice view and seating area on the 6th floor. Bagels, donuts, croissants, boiled eggs, assorted fruits, fresh juice and coffee, etc. Location: PERFECTly tucked in the city. Walking distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central Station. Whole Foods a block down, bakery and subway a couple doors down. The terrace is beautiful in the fall/winter with a heated igloo dome and blankets. Surrounded by a gorgeous view of Bryant Park, NY Public Library and the Empire State Building P.S. we read every yelp and trip advisor review..there's nothing slow about the elevators. Slow down..enjoy the hotel and be patient :) If we could give this place 10stars, we would. We highly recommend and because of this place will be back to NY and staying here for sure. We stayed at this hotel during the first full week of December, a very busy time of the year for NYC. Good - They provide a morning brunch every morning with more than enough food and choices. The rooms are modern and very clean. The shower was strong. The location was great...good access to 5th Ave, Bryant Park Holiday Market, grocery stores, and lots of shopping. Easy location to get a cab. Not so great - Only ONE elevator was working so everyone and everything was backed up. The front desk supposedly arranged a large car/XL ride to Newark on our day of departure and a small taxi showed up. Get your own. The rooms are super tiny...maybe six inches between the bottom of the bed and the wall. Hardly any hangers/shelves. Although the breakfast offering is great, there needs to be more seating...not enough for the 15 floors of hungry visitors eating breakfast. Check your bill at the end of your stay carefully...we were charged for an extra day of valet parking that we didn't use. read more

Location: Conveniently located right in the middle of beautiful Bryant Park next to so many great restaurants and stores. Service: As soon as we walked in, the staff was unbelievably friendly and check in was so seamless and quick. Even the employee in the elevator was so professional and welcoming. Amenities: The room was clean and well laid out. I loved the Malin and Goetz full-sized toiletries. They offered a filtered water station with bottles to fill up for your room. And the complimentary breakfast in the morning was incredible- such a nice spread. And this is the first time I've had hotel coffee where I was super impressed. 110% returning. We had a great stay at Park Terrace. It's a very new hotel, so all amenities/features are clean and up to date. Staff was so, so accommodating and kind from the second we walked in to the second we left. They can hold your bags after you check out until you leave, which is really nice for travelers who don't want to lug everything across the city for the rest of the day. The room was a nice size, bigger than some I've had in NYC. Sheets and bedding were very comfortable, and the rest of the bedroom area was well put together, and even offered free snack + drink. In the hallway there is a free water bottle station, which is a nice touch. The bathrooms are clean and simple, with good lighting and toiletries. I believe our sliding door (Rm. 1107) was broken as it wouldn't close fully and left about an inch open, but I'm not sure if this was an intentional feature. Regardless, it was ok for our one night stay. As other reviewers have said, the complimentary (!) breakfast is incredible and has a great diversity of food items. Bagels, yogurt, coffee, and pastries -- nothing meat-based or super heavy, but it was enough to fill us up until lunch. I would totally recommend Park Terrace for its incredible hospitality and great amenities! read more

Loved this hotel! I've stayed in NYC over 8 times and everyone I try and stay somewhere different. This hotel ended that for sure. I'll be staying here next time. The hotel is spotless, the people are friendly, the breakfast is FREE and delicious, there is FREE water stations on each floor, the rooms are modern and beautiful, also the area.... you cannot get any better. read more

Worst hotel experience...ever! I booked a 2night "Premier View Room" for $840 to celebrate my husbands 50th bday for the weekend of August 2nd. We showed up and the front staff was very nice. We got up to our room and the first thing that I did was open the curtains to the floor to ceiling windows to see our "Premier View". Only problem was that we were looking out to a brick wall! I think if I had pressed my nose against the glass and squinted to the right, I could see a tree in Bryant Park, but that's just a maybe. I called down to the front desk w/ this "issue" and was told they'd look into it. After waiting in the room for 10 minutes, we carted our luggage back down to the front desk. I was told that the Manager was "looking into this" so we waited....and waited. About 10 minutes later, Harrison the Manager came over to apologize that there were no other rooms with views available. However, he was willing to give us a "discount" for us to stay in the room with the brick wall view. I told him that I'd look into other places to stay and he assured me that he'd give us a refund if we went elsewhere. So another 10 minutes passed while I sat in clear view of Harrison, on my phone and I booked us another hotel, completely on the other side of town, which now complicated all of our plans because we already paid for parking near Bryant Park, had a dinner reservation there and a show booked also. EVERYTHING now became complicated because this hotel thought it was ok to put someone in a room facing a brick wall that paid $840 for 2 nights in a "Premier View" room. So I tell Harrison that we'll take a refund, he does something in the computer and wishes us well. We now leave the hotel to flag down a taxi and who comes out, but Harrison! "My manager would like to offer you to stay tonight complimentary." NO mention of what our 2nd night incentive would've been. BUT TOO LATE!! He watched me on my phone as I scurried to find another hotel to book and then he offers us a free night after we've been in his hotel for close to 30-minutes?! He literally caught us outside to make this offer, and IF in fact his Manager was the one making us the offer, where was he?! No one else other than Harrison and the front desk staff was visible, so I doubt the offer actually came from anyone other than Harrison. IF he had offered us a complimentary night when he first realized his mistake, that would've made the world of a difference. But because he actually waited until we walked out that door, showed that he has NO consideration for his customers. A total waste of our time and a complete disappointment from a hotel that claims to be 4-stars! And in a city with SO many other hotel options, this was truly unacceptable. We walked out and will never walk back in! read more

We found this brand new hotel in our favorite area in NYC, Bryant Park. The check-in was easy and friendly. The rooms were the perfect size, the bathroom was well appointed, and bed was very comfortable. The front desk told us about the lounge and bar on the sixth floor. We went for afternoon drinks and were amazed. We sat in comfy chairs around the fireplace and gazed upon Bryant Park and the city lights. They also have an outside patio that we will explore during warmer weather on our next visit. The checkout was easy and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming and excited about their new gem of a hotel. We will definitely be back. read more

This is an excellent hotel. I've stayed here twice for work trips. Brand new, very comfortable rooms with precise and powerful thermostats/AC/heat, super comfy bedding and couches. Bathrooms are very nice too with unusually nice toiletries and products. My room both stays came with a complimentary snack Complimentary medium-sized breakfast buffet on the terrace level is really nice (also great quiet spot to grab a drink), with local foods and views of the park and public library. Service is truly outstanding - they provided an actual memory foam pillow upon request. Charlie at the front desk said "welcome back" at check-in before even giving him my name upon returning for my second trip. I walked in with food to-go one night and the front desk offered me a napkin-wrapped silverware bundle. Wow! Location is perfect near the D/F and also the times sq/broadway trains east one block. I have never reviewed a place mid-experience. We are only day one at the park terrace and I'm telling you readers this may be one of the best customer experiences I have ever had. I've stayed at Fairmonts, Ritzs and Four Seasons and have purchased high end luxury cars and this place is going above and beyond like I have ever seen. We had a delayed check in. Not the end of the world right? They gave us a Personal tour and compd a few drinks at the bar. But we are eating at Parker and Quinn nearby and they found out we were eating there and had dessert sent with a personal apology from the manager of the restaurant about our check in???? Seriously who does this stuff these days. I will tell you....Park Terrace. I am completely blown away by how much pride the staff has in this brand new hotel. I come to NYC a couple times a year and I will always stay here. Bravo! read more

This is, by far, my favorite hotel in NY...and I come here at least once a month. The location is amazing, I often get a view of the NYPL outside my window. The staff is so incredibly kind and helpful. They are eco-friendly and offer refillable water bottles on every floor. The breakfast (which is included) is delicious - fresh pastries, delicious cheese, and yogurt. Not to mention a great coffee bar. The terrace view is gorgeous. The rooms are clean and bigger than most NY hotel rooms...by a lot. I feel comfortable and at home. I would give them all the stars and recommend them to anyone looking to stay in NY. read more

Been to the city a few times and this is by far the best hotel we've stayed at. Incredible location within walking distance to many great sites. The service is outstanding. Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating. We were originally booked for the Deluxe with Park view, when we arrived they notified us that we were upgraded to the premiere room. We told them we would rather have stayed in our original room because of the view. They sincerely apologized and actually upgraded us again to the Premiere room with the park view. The rooms are very clean with a large TV and complementary water bottles. The terrace with bar for breakfast in the morning or small bites and cocktails in the evening is delicious! Will definitely stay here for future trips, couldn't recommend it more. read more

This is probably the worst hotel I ever stayed in. The AC broke twice during my stay, the white bath towels had black stains on it and the worst part was that I noticed a strand of hair in the cream cheese when I had breakfast. Yuck!!! So much for complimentary breakfast. I have no idea how this hotel has received such good reviews. It is extremely expensive as well. The hotel is also very very small.. my master bedroom is twice as big compared to their so called lobby. I am 100% sure guests staying at a Hampton inn or doubletree would have a better stay than here. Stay away from this hotel. Not worth it, I terribly regret it. read more

My friend and I stayed here over Valentines day weekend on a deal from hotels tonight. There was a discount because there was some construction going on but there were no issues whatsoever and it was very quiet. The beds were super comfortable, I haven't slept that well in a hotel ever. The bathrooms were well stocked and appointed, and there was lots of lightning.They have complementary snacks in the room and a really chic rooftop lounge where they serve breakfast in the morning and had cocktail hour which I highly recommend there. The staff is so amazing and friendly! This is truly a great hotel and I'll be staying here next time I'm in New York! read more

Pictures looked great, location is great and new and updated rooms are always appealing. But this was bad all around. I rarely have a bad experience by sticking to quality names, even with boutique sub brands. I knew the location and looked at all available info to make an informed decision. But this was disappointing across the board. If you wnat a good location and a place to sleep, It's fine. If you are traveling for business, it's abysmal. The only saving grace is that they are trying. there is no room service. No desk in the room. The room is insanely small. They tout quiet--even soundproof-- rooms but after 9 i hear live music quite distinctly. Towels were hard. Bathroom sliding door took two hands to move open and closed. I see a hotel trying to be a High quality service and experience. But they missed all the fundamentals of making someone comfortable. read more

The Park Terrace Hotel is our new go to hotel when staying in NYC. Located in W 40th between 5th and 6th is the perfect location regardless of where you want to go.
