I had a Lula's Heart cocktail. It wasn't bad but two things were disturbing. My photo shows how limited the volume of the cocktail was. Really? Either fill it higher or put it in a smaller glass. Secondly $22 for this? Shaking my head. The burger was good albeit on the smaller size. The Za'atar fries were a nice change from regular fries. A pleasant change. You have to try it. We had a window seat which was nice. Service was fine. We arrived just minutes before happy hour was over. The happy hours were incorrect on-line.....bummer.

The food was excellent. Terrene had plenty of vegan obtains. The peta bread with the chickpea hummus was amazing, I also chose the beet salad which was very delicious. To top it all off the experience was shared with my beautiful daughter. The final finale was being served by the most curtious waiter on this side of the Mississipp, Luis. What an amazing experience dining outside enjoying the Embarcader of San Francisco.

They have a really great variety of vegetarian dishes! We ordered a bunch of different things and everything turned out to be really good. Tip: Don't rely too much on their online menu, as some items might not always be available. I really like their sweet potato waffle

A must brunch spot on a sunny day near the Ferry Building! O R D E R E D - Avocado Toast - Steak and Eggs V E R D I C T If you're brunching here, I'm talking specifically about the outdoor seating -- it's giving chill, cozy, and effortlessly aesthetic. You really can't go wrong. My friend and I posted up here for brunch and didn't want to leave. It's order first, then grab your spot -- and honestly, it's a free-for-all in the best way. Bar seats, couches, indoor, outdoor... pick your vibe and settle in. And let's not ignore the setting -- the hotel itself is gorgeous. The lounge next to Terrene is so serene, with the sun hitting just right... it's the kind of place you accidentally spend hours at. Bonus: it's also a great gluten-free friendly spot, so everyone can eat good and feel good.

Nice ambience by the water for a workday lunch. Ordering is quick and at the counter. I tried their shrimp skewer bowl, which was light yet filling. There was plenty of quinoa, vegetables, and avocado. It felt nutritious and was tasty. Service was fine.

We came here as a big group for my friend's birthday and it was disappointing. The service was not good at all and one of our orders came all the way at the end after everyone else was already done and when it was time to go. The vegetarian options here were also a kitchen. The eggplant dish had no flavor and the falafel dish was hard to eat. The mocktail tasted bland as well. The fries and mushroom salad were decent. The Brussels sprouts were okay but could've been better. The food looks aesthetic but tastes below average. Everything is extremely expensive and the ambiance is not cute enough for these prices. I probably wouldn't come here for food again.

Wonderful ambience, attentive staff, and delicious bites! The outdoor area is warm even during wintertime. You can see some epic sunsets :) This space is awesome for a happy hour. The servers always notice when your water needs to be filled. I was very hydrated by the end of the meal. We ordered the following: * Steak Skewers: really flavorful and unbelievably tender * King Trumpet Mushrooms: probably my favorite item after the steak skewers * Seared Scallops: wasn't rubbery at all. perfect cook * Hummus: liked the toasted chickpeas on top * Fries: definitely on the salty side; could've been better * Brussel sprouts: saltier and oilier than expected, but I liked the crispiness * Ice cream + fondue for dessert: very yummy!

I made slightly last minute reservations for this sleek restaurant and was pleasantly surprised to find multiple options available for date and time. The entrance to the restaurant isn't super clear, but right when you enter the hotel you greeted by the front desk concierge services in a friendly professional manner who then provide you to the restaurant on the right. Upon entering the restaurant, there is a front desk with the host, who then guides you to your seating dependent on whether you want indoor or outdoor seating. BTW, they allow dogs indoors and outdoors! :D (which is why I chose a spot since my friend was bringing her pooch.) The ambience is posh with its carefully curated decor in airy neutral colors surrounded by the greenery of real plants! The service is friendly and approachable, but professional. Well, the dishes are a bit small for their pricing, the taste is great. My friend and I shared the beet muhammara, watermelon salad, skuna bay salmon, and the straus ice cream. I also had the Ube Area cocktail. The beet muhammara was tasty with the soft warm pita break. The watermelon salad was spectacular, crisp and refreshing. The salmon entree's sides was a bit spicy but tasted amazingly savory while the salmon was the perfect level of cooked so it flaked off beautifully and softly. The swirl ice cream was a lot for one person so I'm glad we shared that too! Even the Ube cocktail wasn't overly aggressive with the alcohol and neither overly sweet, just perfect. The only qualm with this place is the pricing, but otherwise I would recommend this place! It would be a lovely place for a date too.

Since opening in July 2022, I've avoided Terrene like people with cooties. When it was Americano (Hotel Vitale), my friend set me up on the worst first date ever here. And, then we became frenemies. J/k! But, if anything, they picked a great place for HH because of the vibes with stunning waterfront views. Earlier this year, we (not with the first date person) were at the ferry building across the street and looking for a place for a drink...so out of convenience we ended up at Terrene. Now that they're under 1 Hotel, it's a huge improvement. (+) Mediterranean Cuisine using locally sourced ingredients with rooftop chef's garden. They even make their own honey with onsite beehives. The Za'atar Fries were so addictive! Think McD fries with an earthy tang. (+) Solid, well-balanced craft cocktails. (+) Extremely dog-friendly inside and out (pets stay for free at the hotel!) (+) Yappy Hour every 2nd Monday on the month with pup cocktails and complimentary housemade treats. Wish they had it later in the week tho. (+) Awesome hospitality. Shout out to Kayla and Marianna. (+) Airy, organic design rooted in nature with preserved greenery throughout. AND, picturesque views of the bay bridge. (-) No HH specials (-) 9% SF Mandate (-) Tough street parking but that's a given. Valet for hotel guests is $79/day. Overall, if you're looking for relaxed yet vibey place for drinks with your furkid(s) hit up Terrene!

This is my second time here. Very cute bar and very cute location for lunch. You have to order at the counter and I ordered the harrisa chicken sandwich with fries and the mango smoothie and it was quite expensive. It came out to $45 for lunch. The other times I've had drinks here and they are cute and also have been pretty good. I want to come back and try the bar bites.

Came here for a double date and it was so pretty inside! Good: - The plates all come pretty quickly - babaganoush with the pita came out super quickly and generous portion of pita - The lamb pita was delicious - small but the meat was very juicy - The ice cream dessert was huge - and great for sharing! Super refreshing too - The veggies were all scrumptious - the elote stuck out the most with the corn and super tasty sauce. Bad: - Pretty expensive for pretty small plates, portions are very small - Hard to flag down the waiters - Brussel sprouts were just average, the shakshuka was a bit too lightly flavored for me Overall this was a nice upscale date experience!

Amazing meal! We got a bunch of starters and it was definitely the move. The radicchio salad was good but not our favorite. Radicchio in general is a bit bitter. The fondue was amazing and the portion size was big! We go the fingerlingpotatoes which were super crispy. The best dish however by FAR was the mushrooms. I thought they were scallops at first glance and sent them back lol. Loved the sweetness and the glaze with the umami of the mushrooms. Yum!

My boyfriend and I have been eyeing Terrene for sometime. We finally went there for dinner with two of our friends and it was so great. The flatbreads, Brussel Sprouts, and skewers are to die for. The Verde (Mezcal drink) was one of my absolute favorites. The ambiance of this restaurant is very nice inside and outside. We wanted a table by the fire but they were all taken but got a table outside next to a heat lamp which was still great! The service was also outstanding. They were so helpful with what we should order and how much and let us know which drinks would be best for our likes etc. Overall, we really enjoyed this restaurant! read more

Was pleasantly surprised to visit Terrene, an upscale restaurant at One Hotels. It replaced Americano at the prior Hotel Vitale. The service and ambiance were very good, the food simply terrific. Their marinated skirt steak was just perfectly cooked, topped with a chimichurri steak sauce. Drinks were good, and Kayla their server was just so pleasant. A perfect place to celebrate the occasion of our anniversary. read more

My partner and I stopped down at the bar after dinner at a fantastic sushi spot right across the street. We received complimentary drinks for two in our hotel room. It's a beautiful bar setting, and the outdoor area features comfy seats and warmers. My partner and I usually go straight to the bar. It's generally the best service, and I've been in the industry most of my life. I love engaging with and talking to the bartenders. Eddie, Tezen "Zen", and Johnny. Eddie and Zen made us our drinks while providing excellent customer service, making us feel like we were all old-time friends and they truly cared about our experience. Eddie even created a drink I will try to recreate at home in Kauai. Zen gave us great recommendations for places and bars to go to before our baseball game. Eddie even suggested a rooftop bar where he also works, which was terrific. Johnny helped us out the next night, and you can tell this guy knows what he's doing. They all had great personalities, were funny, good at their job, and took the best care of us. Their attentiveness made us feel valued and well cared for. I'd come back to the hotel just for this incredible team of guys. read more

This place is gorgeous. Think Venice beach restaurants meets sf. Lots of plants, huge outdoor patio overlooking the bay, big bar with cushions, nice lounge area and nice dining place. The kitchen is modern, and the drinks are fantastic. We. Ordered a mushroom flat bread and it was delicious. This is brand new and was formally known as Americano which was very popular. They have redone it and it looks a lot better. There is chill music vibe. Service is on point and the entrance is from the lobby of 1 hotel San Francisco. I would hope that the place picks up, as it was not as packed as I would expect a place like this to be. Nice date spot, nice for group gatherings. It should be very busy when it's summer as they have a nice outdoors which is covered now as it cold. People were both outdoors and indoors. Nice for a large group. It's a nice place to dress up and grab cocktails. read more

Ok this space is probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing I've been to in a long time. We ate outdoors and the only issue with that is some noise from traffic but it is what it is. The food was tasty, well spiced, decent portions. I would have been nice if there were some gluten free options to sub but all the veggie options were delightful. The service was fine, not super friendly but not rude, pretty quick, except for my cocktail - that took longer than the food to arrive! read more

BEWARE! One star for our server Elsa who tried to save a disaster meal and ambiance. She deserves 10 stars but the meal - Thanksgiving prix fixe was straight up inedible especially depressing in San Francisco with so many awesome restaurants. Starter of sweet potato "pave" resembled a cloying paving stone, "bitter greens salad" consisted of soggy overcooked radicchio hidden under a couple leaves of endive, mint leaves and canned mandarins. Ugly! We had to ask for steak knives to cut it, then found it amazingly both slimy and impossible to chew to swallow. Clearly it was cooked/prepared at least a day before. The manager Anthony asked us if we were pleased when we politely pointed out that we could not get it down he argued with us. The main course was white meat turkey wrapped around stuffing over a sludge of almost liquid mashed potatoes and a couple stalks broccolini. The turkey was so dry it was almost impossible to swallow without a swig of wine of water, the kind that draws moisture out of your mouth- HORRID. Saw the couple next to us chewing for many minutes trying desperately to swallow. Dessert was a pathetic pumpkin tart billed as a "Cajun cheesecake" - gummy crust with tiny filling drenched in tasteless cream. Anthony became increasingly belligerent- patrolling by our table with the demeanor of a sales manager at a used car lot. Breathtaking arrogance as if to force us to eat this swill! Did I mention this meal cost about $100 a person without the added gratuity and other fees? RUN!!!! read more

Terrence was pretty good. The hotel lobby smells so great when you walk in and is really pretty. Lots of plants. For a hotel bar/restaurant, the food was great. Good place to swing by before a night at the commonwealth club. Love that they have an enclosed outdoor area for the chillier months. Take a FLASHLIGHT and MAGNIFYING GLASS if you ever hope to be able to read the menu. Printed on off-white paper with light olive green text in a font size that only an ant could see!! Get a grip, folks -- use larger print and fill the page -- I couldn't even read it after taking a photo with my phone and enlarging it! read more

I would give 0 stars. The food is decent and the location is great. However, the service is non existent. We waited between 27-30 minutes for each cocktail and about half the time for water, which was only refilled after we kept asking any worker that walked by. 2 hours later, the bar manager came over personally apologize for the slow service and said they were not prepared for the influx of people and military folks from Fleet Week (which is a known event since the 80's!). He said he will personally make our drinks and as good will, give us his card with his personal number and email so the service will be better next time. He left and never came back. Our drinks never showed up for another 25 minutes. The icing on the cake was when a rat ran across the patio floor under the table next to us. The ladies in our table screamed. We decided it was time to leave. While it's understandable to be busy, to personally promise to return and never improved the service after is unacceptable. We're not expecting free drinks, just a follow through and we didn't ask for him to come over. After seeing the rat and no staff did anything, we will never return as this seems unsanitary and not taken seriously. It's all sad because as long time patrons of the former Americano, we were all happy to see this spot open up. read more

The food was good and the service was ok. The main reason I'm only giving it one star is that I split the bill with a co-worker (her last day) and the next day when I checked my bank account, I noticed both bills were charged to my card. I contacted the restaurant and I was emailed back by someone in their accounting department and after a day she emailed me back and confirmed that the waiter had indeed charged my card twice. She said I would have to get her the other card number and they would re-run it. I told her that the other card belonged to a co-worker who no longer was with the company and left for break so there was no way for me to contact her and also said since this was clearly no fault of mine that I would like to get one of the charges reversed. Never heard a peep back. No apology, no "sorry but how about lunch on us" nothing, nada, ziltch. Guess I not only ate the food I ordered but an extra $55 on top of that. Must be the reason I have a bad taste in my mouth for Terrene. read more

Fantastic bar and restaurant. We live in SF and are excited whenever a good place opens up. This is a beautiful space with amazing menus (we had the dinner menu - Tuna tartare was exactly right) that deserves to be at the very top of SF dining experience. The ambiance here is one of a kind - seriously. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back read more

OMG!!! I am soo happy this place is back. It's the old Americano and it's back with a zen theme. Place is filled with nice plants indoors and has such a calming and zen vibe. I am so happy this place is back. It was one of my top 5 favorite places in the city and i was very happy to stumble across it on my walk. It was a Monday and not usually a drink day for me but those 3 gin cocktails went down too fast. Great service! Always great to recognize staff from the past. So so glad you are open! read more

This is my new favorite spot! Dined in last Friday. I love the decor (lots of plants) a nice large outdoor area with views of the ferry building and bridge. Everything was delicious and had a nice portion. The fries could be less salty but otherwise delicious. I wish they would give you an option for gluten free flatbreads! My favorite drink is La flor de Jamaica. I tried looking for the drink on the menu today but couldn't find it. Please do not stop making this drink! I absolutely love it and the presentation was so cute! Our servers were polite and fast. Can't wait to dine again and having that La flor hibiscus drink! read more

So I assume this place is better if you are actually served, but I wouldn't know. My wife and I had a reservation. We are locals and it's clear the majority of the clientele is not, lot of out of towners dressed up to go out so you'd assume they would be a little quicker to the draw.... We were seated and waited a good 20 minutes before a server even came to chat with us. That was the only time I saw her. In over an hour of sitting that was the only time she came by. Look I get that SF is on the down and outs.... But because of that WE can at least put a better foot forward. The waitress was apparently sooo bad, when I went up to the bar to order something the god damn bartender even admitted she was shit! If everyone knows she shit fire her ass! Now let's discuss the service and the price.... Hummus, 2 drinks... and an 80+ bill all with shitty service.... Yeah no thanks and go fuck yourself very much. read more

Our waitress, Kayla, was rude and condescending from the moment she approached our table. She talked down to us, gave constant attitude, and made us feel like we were a burden rather than guests. She barely checked on us throughout the meal. Our drinks were left empty, we weren't asked how our food was, and we had to wait far too long anytime we needed something. There was zero effort to provide even basic customer service, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and frustrating. The food itself was also a letdown. On top of that, the online menu is not accurate, which was especially frustrating as a vegetarian.
