Checked Yelp to see what was hot in SF, and it led me to Arquet. With so many summer birthdays, we decided to celebrate my favorite sissy's birthday here. Located along the Embarcadero just outside the Ferry Building, the restaurant has a modern, chic vibe with beautiful views overlooking the Bay Bridge. We lucked out with an absolutely gorgeous day 80+ degree weather made it even more perfect. Reservations are definitely recommended. We kicked things off with a few of their signature cocktails before diving into the food. The Grilled County Line Gem Salad was fresh and delicious. The Scallion Fried Bread with buffalo ricotta was tasty, but at $18... I'm still questioning that one. Next was the Yellowtail with nectarine, coconut milk, burnt scallion, and macadamia nuts light, refreshing, and packed with flavor. My favorite savory dish was the Black Cod with coconut curry leaf. It was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The Sakura Rack of Pork, served with grilled apple and spicy mustard seed, was another standout with a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. For dessert, the Ube Basque Cheesecake completely stole the show and was the star of the meal. We also tried the Lemon Panna Cotta. It wasn't really my thing, but everyone else at the table loved it. Overall, Arquet delivered on the food, atmosphere, and service. Really loved the modern ambiance here. From the comfortable, neutral-toned interior to the beautiful plates and cutlery, everything felt thoughtfully curated. It was a good balance between chic and relaxed. Food was great! I especially loved the 'chips and dip' appetizer; chips were light and crispy, and the dip was creamy and delicious. I ordered the steak frites and the steak was cooked exactly how I requested. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and provided great recommendations. One thing that was a first experience for me: when I asked to pack up my leftovers, they had me pick up my takeout at the front door using a numbered ticket, almost like a coat check. It was a fun touch! Gets pretty busy during lunch, which is when I came here to dine, so I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon. Inside environment was spacious. Outside was a little bit smaller than expected and not as nicely decorated. They also have their own restroom inside vs needing to use outside ferry building ones which is nice. They sat us down despite the full party not there. The service was a little slow. Food was solid. Great add to the Ferry building and glad they finally filled the spot that used to be The Slanted Door. The inside has a white, woody aesthetic which was nice. We made a reservation for 4 but had a last minute add for one more person and they were super accommodating despite it looking pretty bus. We shared a bunch of small bites which were all really tasty. The highlights for me were the scallion bread with ricotta and chilli oil, yellowtail and octopus. We the got our own mains - I tried the half chicken and black cod, both of which were delicious. FYI the half chicken comes with a fried chicken foot which surprised our table! All the guys in our party got steaks and they all seemed to really enjoy that. We all then go dessert to go. Came for lunch on a Sunday & really enjoyed the food, service, and the amazing view of the SF Bay! This restaurant is very beautiful yet relaxed. The glass windows added a "indoor-outdoor" feel that cancelled the busy atmosphere of the Ferry Building. It was the perfect venue to catch up with a friend & enjoy a meal together. We had the "chips & dip" which was a nice surprise. The chips were sweet potato & the dip was made of fava bean, zhug, & melted leek cream. We shared the KALE & APPLE SALAD: roasted brussels sprouts, avocado, gorgonzola dolce, walnut, apple cider-thyme vinaigrette and the PACCHERI - hen of the woods mushrooms, & pecorino. These two dishes were the perfect pair. For dessert, we had the guava sorbet. That was super yummy. It tasted like a fresh & ripe guava! Such a lovely spot by the SF Bay, located in the Ferry Building, the vibes were genuinely immaculate from start to finish. The atmosphere felt upscale but still warm and inviting, and the food and the service really tied everything together. Everyone was so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the night, which made the experience feel even more special. Me and my friends don't tend to go to SF like that so when we try spots we like to sample a lil of everything. We ended up trying a ton of drinks, appetizers, entrees, sides, and desserts, and honestly there were so many standouts. For appetizers, the scallion fry bread was incredible, if you get anything to start I would highly recommend this dish. It was soft, savory, crisp and insanely addictive. The octopus and squid was another favourite, perfectly cooked with amazing flavor and crisp texture. For sides, I HIGHLY recommend the hen of the woods mushrooms with XO sauce. So rich, savory, and packed with umami, easily one of my favourite bites of the night. As for entrees, the spatchcocked fish was a big hit, it was super flavourful, beautifully cooked, and just really satisfying. I really enjoyed the sauce that it is paired with, very harmonious. The sakura rack of pork was absolutely divine as well, this might be another must! It was tender, juicy, and incredibly flavourful, another one of my most favourite bites. Dessert deserves its own moment too. Shoutout to Chef Louis because everything was amazing, but the chocolate terrine completely stole the show for me. The layers and textures were sooo good and every bite felt decadent without being too heavy. Honourable mention to the tamarind sorbet though because it was such a unique, refreshing, and flavorful finish to the meal. Beautiful ambiance that is bright and airy with plenty of space between tables. Lunchtime is quite kid friendly and you can get great views of the water. Service was friendly and prompt. West Coast Oysters: Delicious, but on the pricey side even by SF standards Burrata and melted leeks: I wished it was served with more bread (just 3 small pieces) and it was actually difficult to serve cleanly. Definitely very heavy on the leek. Beef tartare: Served with a raw egg and tasty! Paccheri: My favorite dish. The pasta is served in a rich and creamy sauce with lots of umami flavors from the mushrooms. Would recommend! Well, first off, everything was amazing. The old Slanted Door location in The Ferry Building which has probably been this restaurant for a while but it's my first time visiting. Love what they did with the place the food the service everything is top-notch great restaurant group and Team for sure. But a big part of it is how they reimagined the interior. It's actually the same layout, where it was with the bay outside, but with no curtains, you could see the bay and feel like you're in San Francisco. Part of it also is its much lighter colors, and earth tones -- just brighter overall and comforting. The menu is pretty exceptional cross the board. It was very difficult to choose and I'm choosing pretty healthy set of options given that they had a Hungarian wine that I know. A Furmint. Just half the glass. So with that, I had the grilled baby gem salad, which was quite exceptional. Then had the yellowtail which I didn't know was going to be a sort of crudo sashimi in coconut broth, but it turned out quite good. Not a lot of food portion wise but fair and healthy. This would not have been enough if you were really hungry, which to be honest, I kind of was, but it was good fresh and lovely really. Service: I ate alone at the bar the bartenders work together as a team knew what they were doing on top of it water filled, etc. but helpful nice guys engaging. Finally came by to see what came in after The Slanted Door. Very serene cream space- open and airy. Not the same, nearly round booths but- booths with a long couch vibe Sat outside for fresh air and it was nice and chill- but clear panel to the random people sitting out on the otherwise can be a bit distracting. Offered still or sparkling chilled water. Also had a great iced black tea. Started with the Ahi, Olives and the bread & butter! Olives were orange zest flavors and some spice. Very good and the tuna was very delicious all kinds of little somethings that made it so delicious. The bread and butter was SO fresh and perfect! Even if u are gluten free- you will be okay. It's San Francisco! I ended going with the Gem Salad with chicken- which was warm poached? And sliced- , couldn't finish the chicken with all those starters. Dessert menu looked amazing but was full! Trendy restaurant that replaced Slanted Door. Beautiful decor and spacious setting that includes an open kitchen and tables + booths. Got in early for a 5:30 reservation that can only be made online - it'll also tell you so if you try to call in. We were seated right away and given a rundown of the menu. We ordered a little bit of everything from each category. Standouts were the fish, hen of the woods mushrooms, and the porterhouse although for $195, there's not a lot of it. Honestly things were tasty but on the pricier side with the exception of the pork chop which I felt was a tad dry. Around $500+ for 4 adults and 2 kids (8 months and 2 years old) - includes 2 alcoholic beverages, a mocktail and a glass of milk. There's a private room on the back on the way to the bathroom. No changing tables available which makes it difficult when you have 2 little ones who need a fresh diaper. Serving time was also on the slower side where there's a pretty long gap between dishes. This bit in the kids' bedtime despite the early dinner time. Service was friendly. Noise level was fine. read more

Every now and then you come across a restaurant that will be memorable for years to come and Arquet is one such restaurant! The whole experience was absolutely amazing ! Housed in the Ferry Building in the former Slanted Door space, this is being, modern with stunning Bay views as well as an open kitchen. Service was phenomenal throughout the night and each dish was nothing short of amazing! We love to order lots of smaller dishes and did so here with our waiter coursing it out in a way that made sense! We began with oysters - fresh and delicious, their smoked olives, some of the best I have ever had, scallion fried bread with ricotta which was out of Thai world and chips and a fava bean dip also delicious. Then we enjoyed blue fin tuna, yellowtail and the Monterey squid with octopus! Every bite perfect . Recently visited Arquet on a Saturday afternoon and had raw oysters, sour dough and butter, chips & dip, and spicy chicken sandwich. All of which had a unique texture and tastes. The French fries were absolutely delicious and crunchy! I didn't like the spicy fried chicken as it was a tad on the bland side. The texture for the sour dough was also on the tough side . Service was surprisingly slow considering there are around 30 staff working in the kitchen. It did take them the whole meal to refill our waters. They are in the ferry building- so definitely not that fancy to justify the "attitude" of the servers. Our server, Sarah was not a good listener. I didn't like my drink so I expressed that to her just to have her look at me and say: oh... ok. - looking at me with disgust and disbelief- didn't offer anything else. I then asked to see the wine menu. The yellow submarine drink www awful. The staff barely makes eye contact with you during interactions. The food was just ok. Arquet has been on my list for awhile so we decided to go for our birthday! We also mentioned in the reservation that it was our birthday as well and the hosts greeted us happy birthday and wished us well. Our favorite dishes were the scallion fry bread, short rib, and the rib eye with the artichoke, and lastly the ube basque cheesecake was SO good! Overall the food was decent and ambiance was great, but the service really tainted our experience. Service was a very slow, not very attentive, and unfortunately our server was not welcoming. We saw multiple tables receive candles and a thank you for celebrating with the restaurant but unfortunately we didn't even receive a greeting from our server or a candle with the dessert we ordered. We understand this isn't expected at every restaurant, but it was disappointing to see many other tables receive candles for their celebrations except us. High 4.2/4.4 of 5 for me!! Surprised the reviews aren't edging well past the 4 mark here. Honestly a must try PERIOD. Menu is seasonal so it'll change up, but I loved the ricotta, Greek yogurt dish. The whole fish was .. incredible. Pappardelle was exactly what I'd imagine freshly made pasty to taste and feel like. Mushrooms? I would pass next time. Baked oysters delivered! Last minute decision but a star. Crème brûlée was yummy but most importantly what my cousin wanted! Clean modern, well designed throughout. Ceramic dishes. Fast when they switch out plates, water refills, small touches that make a big difference like replacing a napkin that fell. Absolutely beautiful ambiance and interior. Amazing view of the bay bridge. All the food was delicious! I will say the chicken is hard to eat which makes me unlikely to order that again. But it still tasted good. The fry bread was what I was most excited about bc I love fig and cheese. I think I overhyped it to myself but it was still good overall. We asked for another piece of fry bread bc we still had extra of the cheese and that was so great that we could do that. It was an extra $5 for it, so worth to make sure that cheese didn't go to waste. Lobster brioche was my fav thing we ordered that meal. It was so fresh and refreshing. The grits on the short rib were DELICIOUS. honestly loved that more than the short rib. The crème brûlée was really light compared to other ones I've had. This is a positive thing! We had an impromptu date night at Arquet so didn't really plan to make reservations in advance but wanted to shoot our shot for a walk-in. The hostess was very accommodating and let us know that they could make arrangements for a table al fresco if we waited half an hour. We gladly obliged but the wait ended being more like 10 minutes so we were already off to a good start. After we were seated outdoors (with amazing views of the bay bridge, I might add), we were given a menu promptly and the wait staff went over the details of the menu as well as some really great recommendations for the bone marrow and the hot honey chicken. Both recs were on point, the bone marrow came with some sort of fig butter which tasted heavenly when paired with a soft brioche bread. We dipped the extra bread in the bone marrow juices afterwards too. The Dungeness crab on toast was also full of flavor: creamy, a hint of herbaceous goodness and the sturdy toast used as a vessel into your mouth. The hot honey chicken did not miss: honey flavor on the crisp skin, soft and juicy chicken on the inside. Perhaps the best chicken I've tasted apart from that one fried chicken place in Napa. We ended the night with some sorbet (generous scoops of guava & mango) which we absolutely demolished. Service throughout the evening was excellent. Not over bearing but attentive enough. The wait staff checked in a couple of minutes after every dish was served, the plates were "refreshed" after appetizers and entrees and crumbs from the table were removed promptly in between dishes. The service is perhaps what sets Arquet apart from similar restaurants on the spectrum. We will return to Arquet for many, many more impromptu date nights and celebrations. This review is more like 4.5 stars because don't want to necessarily add to the hype. Arquet is buzzing right now, and it does do a lot right. I was visiting San Francisco for the night so made reservations to check this new spot, which took over the former Slanted Door space at the Ferry Building. It's a gorgeous space and service from the front of the house to my server was top notch, professional and yet still friendly. The huge open kitchen really adds to the show for the restaurant, and the menu can feel overwhelming with the different sections but all can combine to an interesting meal. Here's what I ate: -- Seaweed lavash, iacopi white bean hummus, dandelion pesto, smoked trout roe. I was tempted by the seaweed lavash, and while it came out paper thin, the seaweed flavor was subtle. I was hoping more nori flavor, but it wasn't too dominant. The hummus was thick and creamy, and there was a lot left over in ratio to the lavash pieces that came with it. -- grilled county line gems, endive, asian pear, anchovy green goddess, walnut, alpine cheese. My favorite of the night for the freshness, and complexity in flavors and texture. Just a well-rounded salad. -- sakura rack of pork, grilled black, apple, dirty girl spigarello, spicy mustard seed jus. I had a lively discussion with my server about what diners envision when they see the words "rack of pork" on the menu. I imagined it to be like a rack of lamb, but instead, it was a huge pork chop. She said the chef said the rack of pork comes from the same cut as the pork chop so that's why it could be confusing, so basically this was a juicy thick pork chop. It was cooked perfectly and paired with classic winter flavors of apple and mustard. I had it with a side of potatoes. -- hochija tiramisu. I'm obsessed with hochija so was excited to get this dessert, and while overall the cake portion was nice, I didn't get a strong hochija flavor. So it almost seemed like a chocolate cake. Overall I thought the food was solid and at times creative, but not everything lives up to the ingredients featured on the menu. We wandered in after happy hour after work and there was plenty of room to order at at bar(with a little Patience). We chatted with another couple before we ordered and they convinced us to order the fry breaded buffalo ricotta as a snack and 10/10 will always order it. Finished off with a chocolate terrine that was creamy crunchy goodness. Service is friendly and warms. The restaurant itself is very pretty. Ambiance: This restaurant is located in a corner of the Ferry building, lined with windows in an open space. The open kitchen layout is also nice, if you like watching some behind the scenes action. The space wasn't too loud and there's plenty of seating. Maybe we were lucky because it was lunch, but I would highly recommend getting a reservation. I hear their dinner reservations are harder to get. Service: We were seated right away and given several menus and water for the table. I didn't feel we had to wait a long time to order, but our waitress checked in a few times to see if we wanted to start off with drinks, etc. When we finally ordered, she did ask if we wanted our food to come out as it was made, or to course it out. We're fine with everything coming at the same time. The only issue was that our water glasses were empty and we had to ask for water, rather than have it noticed and filled. Not a big deal, overall, but we were thirsty. Food: I didn't realize we ordered all bread products, but we were okay with that. San Francisco Sourdough with cultured butter - sourdough was perfect, soft on the inside with a nice outer crust. The salted butter was creamy and super easy to spread. The stamping was a nice touch. Liberty Duck Liver Brulée - comes with a mandarin jam and grilled bread, both paired with the duck very well. It was really fun cracking the top and balanced the sweet with the savory of the duck. The liver was creamy and not overly salty, which is preferred for me and I would highly recommend it. Littleneck Clams with Herbs - the flavors were amazing. I loved the fennel incorporation and the broth it was simmered in. My friend and I were dipping our bread in it and drinking the broth by the spoonfuls. This is where I had to knock a star off - there was SO MUCH SAND in the clams. About 85% of the clams I ate had sand in it. We were biting and going, "aww man" after most bites. We still finished it, because it was still delicious and fresh, but man!! The sand! I should have taken the broth to go and bought a whole bread loaf at ACME and grilled and dipped. It was so good. Overall, I would recommend trying this restaurant, the quality of the food is good and everything we got was flavorful but not too much. read more

What! I saw Arquet with a 3.9 on Yelp and had to do my part. I had such a good experience here, am truly surprised they're not getting same love from Yelpdom!!!! The appetizers were all very tasty, but the table felt that the ricotta that came with the scallion fried bread was a tad rich. For our mains, we had the short rib, ribeye, trout, Monterey squid and octopus. duck confit and dirty girl salad. Oh, Arquet! What a beautiful restaurant, delicious food, and wonderful experience all around. My fiancé and I made a 5:00 reservation here for our anniversary, and the host was welcoming as soon as we walked in. It started getting busy right as it opened! The restaurant is just so beautiful, from the utensils to the restrooms. We ordered (and shared) the Seaweed Lavash, Milleans Orchards Persimmon, Trout, and Duck Confit. I loved that they explained each dish when it was brought to the table. Everything was delicious; my favorite dish was actually the persimmon! The service was 10/10. Really enjoyed Arquet. First of course you're right on the water at the Ferry Building. So amazing views. Ambiance is terrific, great bar area and open feeling, especially with the kitchen right in the middle. Service was attentive. Particularly liked the snapper and ribeye. read more

Excellent experience! The large space was redesigned to be modern with a large, open kitchen as the focal point, quite different from the previous restaurant (Slanted Door). I was excited to have dinner at Arquet after reading several articles, reviews & seeing IG posts. I noticed how there are many curved arches or partial arches & the gentleman who seated us explained that the restaurant's name is based on the French word, Arquette, which means arch. We started out with cocktails (I had the Ashina Industries, which was described as a pina colada without the pineapple) & my friend had the Yellow Submarine. The cocktails were refreshing & balanced. We shared several small plates (to try more options) & had the fry bread with burrata (bread was lightly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside & was the perfect vessel for the burrata); ricotta dumplings (the sauce is delicate & light with corn); Dungeoness crab brioche; roasted bone marrow that is accompanied by an onion jam & Parker rolls & roasted Monterey squid & octopus. Everything was delicious & couldn't pick a favorite. We were pretty full from our small dishes & didn't have room in our stomachs to try a large entree so I'll have to return to try more menu options. We did have room for dessert & ordered the chocolate terrine, which was the perfect ending to our meal. I had a glass of sherry & my friend had an espresso martini to accompany our dessert which was a good pairing. Interesting new California restaurant. I booked a table a week in advance for dining inside and when we arrived we were seated a few minutes late after our reservation time but that was fine. The waiter explained to us how the menu works and the highlights of it. We ordered the seaweed lavash, the ricotta dumplings (very good), the MT Lassen trout that my daughter ate with joy (they don't have a kids menu) and the hot honey organic chicken that was good but nothing special for me. I'd like to return to try other plates. Ambiance was nice with no loud music that I like. read more

I've been to Arquet for dinner twice now - the first time, I was honestly a bit underwhelmed by the food (especially given the relatively steep prices). However, I went again earlier this week and had a better experience (hence the 4 star average). Between the two visits, I tried the Butter Lettuce Salad ($18), Bluefin Tuna ($27), Monterey Squid and Wood-Fire Octopus ($28), Whole BBQ Red Snapper ($68), Ube Basque Cheesecake with Salted Cream ($14), and the Thai Tea Ice Cream ($14). The Monterey Squid and Wood-Fire Octopus was one of my favorite dishes of the evening - the squid and octopus were well-cooked, very tender, and flavorful. My only complaint is that the portion was quite small for the price. The Butter Lettuce Salad is very unique (it comes with red and green strawberries, yogurt, black olive, thai basil, and mint), and it was the other favorite of the night (and very reasonably priced at $18). I can't reliably comment on the Red Snapper because I only had a few bites (and it was cold by the time I tried it), but it was also very good (albeit expensive at nearly $70). The Bluefin Tuna was underwhelming - it comes with black olive, riverdog radish, and spiced chili oil, which I thought overwhelmed the tuna itself. It also came with four pieces (each bite-sized) for $27, which was quite steep. Regarding the desserts, I definitely recommend trying the Ube Basque Cheesecake. The Thai Tea Ice Cream was less memorable. Service is friendly and efficient, and the interior is modern and upscale - good for a date night or special event. Overall, I'm glad I gave them a try. The food is good, but prices are steep (especially for the portion sizes). read more

what a vibey little restaurant in the ferry building with great views of the bridge right outside! all the staff we encountered were so nice and attentive as soon as we walked in. all of the food we ordered was amazing! the clams and oysters were really fresh, but me and my husband both agreed the broth in the clams needed a little more of something. the paccheri was our fav!!! the sauce paired with the mushrooms was amazing. the only thing we didn't like was the espresso martini but the server told us us they just have a classic martini with just vodka and espresso so be aware of that if you like kahlua and baileys in yours! read more

I would say the food and dinner itself was a 3/5, but the ambiance and experience as a whole made it a 4/5. Heard a ton of buzz about Arquet's opening in the Ferry Building, and went to check it out with a group of friends. The space is beautiful - super airy, light, and modern with plants interspersed! Highlight dishes: - Scallion Fry Bread (so good, came out crispy and hot) - Ricotta dumplings - Steak (potato/spinach side was yummy) - dungeness crab toast Lowlights: - Hojicha Tiramisu (had some oddly dense cake layer, sesame ice cream was good) - Duck confit (flavor was good but one 1 leg) - country line gems Overall was a bit disappointed by the portion size for the price. Hosting guests, so had to do a little bit of the touristy thing , and paid a visit to the Ferry Building. Fortunate enough to stumble upon a new establishment, Arquet. Gave it try, and so happy we did. Personally, I was pleasantly surprised in every metric. The place is inviting, classy, clean, modern, comfortable, with great service, delicious food, and breathtaking view of the Bay Bridge (from our vantage point). Every dish was well presented, and delicious: -SAN FRANCISCO SOURDOUGH with cultured butter. Yes, it's bread, and sounds and appears simple, but at Arquet the sourdough was served properly, which every establishment should be practicing. Served fresh, warm, with house made butter. -DRY AGED BEEF TARTARE - smoked soy, egg yolk, potato chips. Fresh and tender in every bite. -CREEK SIDE ORGANIC PUMPKIN SOUP with soft egg, pomegranate, roasted chestnut. I'm not sure how they got all those amazing flavors into one bowl, but WOW! So scrumptious! -PACCHERI - hen of the woods mushrooms, pecorino. The sauce was so very delicious! We were actually fighting for every last drop YUMMY! -MT LASSEN TROUT - white miso mustard, wilted spinach, mcginnis romano beans. Beautifully cooked. Tender flesh with perfectly seared skin. Date of Visit: 12/26/2025 Located in the Ferry Building in San Francisco, Arquet is a new, ingredient focused California restaurant from the team behind Michelin starred Sorrel. Arquet focused in wood-fired and seasonal dishes presenting local and fresh ingredients. Outside of the window is the waterfront view and Bay Bridge. Led by Chef Alex Hong, and it is known for dishes like barbecued oysters, whole roasted fish and chicken. Starbelly $16 Husband ordered the cocktail made with Cognac, passionfruit, lemon, vanilla, sparkling wine. Snow Diva $16 I got the Snow Diva with Gin, yuzu, and orange blossom meringue. Love the citrus sweet and sour taste. Monterey Squid and wood fire octopus $28 We ordered the squid and octopus for appetizer. This one is my favorite dish! Wood fire grilled octopus and squid with white sauce and sunchoke and chorizo which blended in. 2020 George Descombes Gamay $16 Husband ordered the Gamay from the wine region Brouilly in France. A Marshmellow World $15 And I got the cute cocktail made with Scotch, rum, pasilla, lime, and marshmallow. It was quite special that the ingredient of A Marshmellow World and Snow Diva was very different, but they tasted very similar with citrus and sweet and sour taste. BBQ Snapper $68 For the main course, we got the whole BBQ red snapper with the sauce of vermouth and elderflower. The presentation of the fish was the same as Michelin star restaurant Angler. BBQ Duck Confit $38 We also got the duck confit with Five spice, kimchi, k&j Asian pear, and furikake. The confit leg was quite small and nothing special of this course. Hen of the Woods Mushroom $16 We ordered the hen of the woods mushroom as the side. This was a true gem! Mixed with black garlic X.O and fermented ramps. Mush order. Macallan 12 year Speyside $21 Husband got the Macallan 12 year to pair with dessert. Hojicha Tiramisu $14 We ordered the hojicha tiramisu with a scoop of black sesame ice cream on the side. Ok, so I'm not sure where to begin. As y'all know San Francisco has a fantastic variety of great food from fine dining to quality mom and pop operations. And Arquet definitely belongs! Perfectly situated in the ferry building it brings another fantastic addition to the growing list of great restaurants on the Embarcadero. Walking distance from offices, views to the bay bridge, it is great for business dinners or date nights in the city. The indoor ambiance is something else. Simple, chic... it takes you to another place. Now to the good stuff! The food is phenomenal. Great mix of sea and land dishes with some creatively tasty vegetarian options. Every dish has a unique twist. Every bite is kick of flavor. They use a mix of international ingredients that keep you guessing but loving every bite! The bbq oysters come with a kick of red curry, the blue fin tuna surprises and delights you with a punch of coconut milk and zest. And finally, the wood fire grilled red snapper slaps your taste buds with the right amount of smoke and crisp! By the way - I gotta give a shout out to Dash! He creates an inviting and delightful experience from the moment you enter the door! I definitely recommend. Arquet is now one of my growing list of top restaurants in the city. read more
