One of which was this porcelain diffuser I got that shaped like a flower with a dish below it so you basically poured the fragrance. It could be beautiful classy decoration, beyond served as it's primary function. They also offered gift-wrapping and when they did it they mean it as it was impressively packaged neatly even bowed. The greetings card were equally peculiar and even some came in funny design or wordings. I ended up giving them a wash, hoping that the smell would disappear and it didnt, so today I tried and returned them with a receipt and original packaging and explained the situation. The manager at this store has been there for several years I think her name is "Elena" or "Helena"- she always has an attitude and is always extremely rude just by watching her when I visit the store and her interactions with other customers. She scolded me for washing them and said that she couldn't smell anything which is absolutely ridiculous. She said I was the FIRST PERSON EVER to return sheets at a HomeGoods for the smell. Even though it's all over Reddit as an issue. She said she'd do a "one time favor" but they can't be re-sold. They shouldn't have been sold to begin with without label stating they smell like chemicals. I brought her another sheets by the same brand and style so she could smell and she refused. Scolding a customer and then making me feel like I did the wrong thing by washing them to trying and get rid of the smell is insane when it literally says to do that on Google. One of the worst managers ever, i don't know how she has her job and represents the store to be honest.
