IT DID!!! A GENIUS solution that I would have never thought of. I was able to unload two pallets of boxes and reload the rest of my belongings before leaving town. His Cast Global Shipping business is one of dedication to his customers. He went above expectations by securing my boxes for me with additional stuffing and foam before shrink wrapping them onto their pallets for transportation. Everything arrived within a week, and NOTHING was damaged! Paul was a Guardian Angel for me that day and for my belongings. He was a calm voice within my stormy day. The guys arrived on time and worked their collective butts off to get everything in their truck. We had heavy furniture and they wrapped it with care and placed it in the new home right where we asked. I would especially like mention Gabriel for his help in fine-tuning the location of some of the furniture. Two other guys, whose names I didn't catch, helped moved my very heavy printer into my car, unload it, and carry it upstairs. All three guys had that can-do/will-do attitude. Originally, the monthly rate was $168 - reasonable. Within the past year, it increased to $220, then recently it increased to $306. When I contacted customer service they stated it will likely continue to increase every 6 months indefinitely. Additionally, I have had several items stolen from the boat. Each time I approached management, I was informed that the security cameras were down and was offered zero in compensation for over $1,000 in stolen items. In short, this place sucks. Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! Before I tell you my story, make your move simple and stress free and use Terry Moving and storage. This was the best decision made. Our move from CA to Northern ID went flawlessly. Terry moving went beyond and above during the several months leading up to my actual move. So I really hope you read my story - I started a out of state move search. Got on with Safe Ship, they worked with me, gave me discounts etc. only to find out after giving them a very large deposit they were brokers and had a moving service company in LA that was going to do the move, I thought wait-what I thought Safe Ship was moving me. No they were brokers and the company doing the move had zero good reviews, held belongings hostage for more money as the load was over the weight estimate. They also did not guarantee the move date it was a range of days in which they might show up. None of this ever came up in conversation with Safe Ship. I had to give them over 4k as a down payment. While doing my search on this mover assigned by Safe Ship, I saw Terry Moving and Marks video, so I made a call. It was late in the evening and a very nice gentlemen named Rich answered. Best choice I ever made. He knew I was in a panic and quickly calmed me down. He was going to reach out to Mark Terry the owner of Terry moving and have him call me in the morning, but NO Mark Terry called me that evening. He told me what to do to get my refund and who to contact if it wasn't returned as I had 72 hr and it had only been 4 hours since the deposit was made. Mark also came to my house the next morning and walked through and gave me a reasonable price, we had options as we had a antique car and lots of tools/tool boxes to be moved as well. ( we were not sure if we would move the tools and car ourself. I reached out to Mark a few times with questions. If I sent a text, I never waited for more than a few minutes for a return call or text, same when I sent emails. When Mark says in his video they are hands on he is not kidding. He made me fell like I was the only customer he had. Mark even got on the phone with me to say a prayer while my husband was in surgery. What mover does that? Terry moving is very hands on with their customers and they TRULY DO CARE. I could go on and on but its now move day and the team shows up early and on time. All the guys were kind, polite, and helpful. They worked very hard and took excellent care of our belonging and the house as it was being emptied. We needed to store our belongings for a while but rather then storing them in Terry Moving storage, Mark suggested we find a location close to us in Idaho as it would likely save us some money. The delivery team was also very polite and hustled to get the truck unloaded and stacked in our storage. PS Terry moving moved our antique car in the move. While our belonging are still in storage since late March we will be reaching out to Mark again when time to move into our home. While he will not be doing this move he has contacts in the area that we will used based on his assistance/guidance. Definitely "A" Number "1" not only for their Service, Professionalism, Price and overall Organization!!! I cannot begin to praise the owner, Mark Terry and his incredible Staff at Terry Moving & Storage in Lake Forest for basically "saving" me from a nightmare of my roommate and I trying to tackle a last minute move! Talk about a complete and extreme amount of relief of pressure, but most importantly, the stress, especially realizing what trouble we were going to be in by waiting until the day before we had to be out of our apartment. And by now, knowing we weren't going to be able to tackle it by ourselves. Hell, I don't even think if we had twice as many guys that moved us, that we could have done the job complete and as quickly as they did. There were 3 men total, with Paul leading the crew. They were all extremely courteous, precise, and not to mention very careful and very organized. We all know that moving is stressful enough in itself, but when you do what I did waiting to admit my defeat basically at the 11th hour (actually the day before, not if that makes it sound any better, or makes a difference !). But, luckily I was given Mark Terry's name and Cell Phone Number by a Professional who works with him and the company a lot and whom I trust. Before I even had the chance to gather my thoughts, Mark was calling me! Talk about a "God send". He had my nerves, not to mention my sanity at this point back on ground level within minutes of our conversation. I literally had the whole move under, or I should say that Mark had everything including me under control in a matter of minutes! Okay, I saved the best for last... I didn't mention that we lived on the 3rd Floor (without Elevators). I still think that this is against the California Code and the Apartment Complex should be in Violation! So, even with that huge obstacle to tackle, they still managed to get us moved in the time needed, and they did it without any complaints or hesitation. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Mark, Paul and the whole crew at Mark Terry Moving & Storage. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone and everyone to use them, if not to move, but for Storage. And, I forgot to mention that their 25,000 square foot Storage Warehouse is kept Pristine and very Organized. The Warehouse, which is headed up by the other Mark, who has been with the company for 20 years. As with most of the other reviews, we are very satisfied with Terry Moving. Our move consisted of furniture from a 5-bedroom house in Irvine, CA to Fort Worth, TX (1,400 miles) and a car. Although you might think Terry Moving is a local mover, he also does long-haul moves to approximately 11 other Western states. Facilities/Equipment- I visited the Terry Moving facilities. They are clean and orderly. His over-the-road equipment is first rate. Terry leases his long-haul tractors from a national firm so should there be an equipment breakdown out of state, he can support his drivers as well as a national franchise. Pricing/Flexibility- This is the main difference between Terry Moving and the national franchises. We were moving into new construction and weather concerns were causing the builder to become uncertain on our move-in date - but our move-out date was firm. We obtained quotes from 2 national movers in addition to Mark Terry. One of the national movers and Mark were close on their estimates and "not to exceed" pricing, the other national mover was so much lower, we did not trust their estimate. Mr. Terry was willing to hold our furniture for up to 2 weeks at his facility so we could move out on time. The national mover would have charged us an additional fee to move to his facility and a minimum of a month's storage for the same service (several thousand dollars in addition to the move estimate). Additionally, Mr. Terry hauled one car for the same cost as one of the better auto transport companies - so we did not lose the use of the vehicle for 1-3 weeks. Honesty/Service - The crew that delivered our furniture was experienced; they left the house clean, and we have not identified any broken items as a result of the move. The only problem was a step ladder that was not unloaded from the truck, and Mr. Terry is paying for a replacement. That says it all, as far as I am concerned. Granted, we did not move during the busiest moving season. However, I believe you will find that Terry Moving provides the best combination of price and service. read more

To my great fortune, I found Terry Moving. I was selling my family home in California, because my mom passed away. My sister and a couple family friends were going to take most of my mom's beloved furniture, so the move was a little complicated because we had "3" separate locations to send everything. But to Mark, the owner of Terry Moving, that was absolutely no problem at all. In my search for a mover, I spent a few hours combing the internet and reading review after review about how movers would simply not show up on moving day. This scared me. So when I found Terry Moving, I decided to show up to their office, unannounced, just to make sure they were a real business. They were pleasantly surprised to see me, and gave me a tour of the storage facility and the lot where they keep their trucks. Everyone was very friendly and made me feel at ease. On moving day, they showed up right on time. The 5 team members were super nice, hard-working, and always had a positive attitude and smile on their face. They made me feel very comfortable with how they were handling my beloved mother's possessions. In the end, the move went successfully. All the furniture showed up in one piece and the pricing came in below the estimate... so that was nice! There was one small bit of damage to a piece of furniture, that thankfully was repairable... Mark quickly refunded my money within minutes of getting a quote for the repair. Mark is a super-honest guy. HIs employees are awesome. I highly recommend them even if they are a little more expensive than other movers I called. They are worth it. And you prospective movers are worth it! We used Terry Moving and Storage to move from Orange County to the Seattle area. My husband and I were very apprehensive about using a local mover to move us out of state because, face it, we have all heard horror stories. From the minute we contacted Mark, he completely put our fears to rest. He was happy to give us a binding estimate and even added "not to exceed" on the paperwork. On the packing day, his crew showed up right on time and worked like crazy packing up the house. The next day the crew showed up to load and worked their butts off loading our 2600 sq ft house into a giant moving van. I appreciated that he sent enough guys to get the job done -- we had 6 guys who packed us and 8 guys who loaded us. Less workers would have meant longer days for all of us and things get dropped/broken/damaged when fatigue sets in. The guys were personable, friendly and fun to be around. We met the driver of our van on loading day. We exchanged phone numbers and planned driving routes (we were also leaving the next morning to drive north). On the road, we talked to our driver several times to ensure all was well. He arrived at our new house at the exact time he said he would. There was an unloading crew waiting as well. While the unloaders were not Terry Moving employees, they were also great and worked very hard for us. All and all it was almost an effortless move. I can't recommend Terry Moving and Storage highly enough -- Mark did every single thing he promised and there was no B.S. AT ALL. I forgot to mention that the guys took great care with our house -- stairs were taped, tarps were used, no nicks in any walls or furniture. Terry's Moving and Storage is the way to do it!!! A friend recommended them to me and I do not regret my choice AT ALL. They really minimized the stress of moving! We had an absolutely amazing crew both days for packing things up and moving things into the house!! The first day was very organized as was every other day following. The guys were all so patient as we kept on bringing more things for them to wrap, which they did at a very fast and efficient speed but with the utmost care for our possessions. Everything was transported without a single crack! For the second day (loading the trucks) Chris, Angel, Larry, Lawrence, Mike, and JB were incredibly hard-working, efficient, thoughtful, light-hearted, and extremely funny too! They really made the stressful environment of moving completely disappear! You could just tell that they were very experienced in what they did since they new how to handle different items--all with foresight and care! We forgot to tell them to take our fire heater outside and they came very early the next morning from Lake Forest to pick it up. They really tend to their customers! They are truly a great team, and the same goes for the crew on the third day. They moved our stuff all the way from Lake Forest to Los Angeles. It was awesome having Lawrence, Chris, and Angel back and then we had two other wonderful guys joined to the group. Once again everything ran super smoothly and these guys truly had the best attitudes in the whole world!! We had them around for almost 10 hours and they were SO helpful till the last second. I just moved from California to Las Vegas. Originally I had booked a moving company online that was not based in Nevada and there were a multitude of red flags that were making me nervous so I canceled with them and choose to go with in the LA area whom I would have peace of mind..and that's exactly what I found with Terry's Moving. I talked to a couple of different people in their office at different times...they were always straight-forward and helpful. Everything they said would happen is what happened...no surprises. I got a call when they said I would from Lawrence, who was to do the onsite estimate...he was right on time (a touch early, actually)...we had to communicate back and forth several times following that appointment because it was a complicated inventory and Lawrence was having some computer problems...but despite those obstacles, he returned my calls promptly every time and we worked it out. I was very stressed out on the actual day of the move having been up almost around the clock for the previous 2 days trying to be ready for the moving crew and they stayed so calm and steady all day, their presence completely eliminated my anxiety. And I have to add that they treated every piece of furniture with equal care...even when it was obviously something that probably should have been left behind on the curb! Now I know this doesn't always happen but we were given a 10-day window for delivery and they made it on the first day...only 4 days after pick-up... I cannot recommend Juan and Chuy highly enough. They were absolute lifesavers during my move. This was supposed to be a partial pack and move, but it turned into one of those days where every possible obstacle seemed to pop up. We had to pick up a massive cabinet from a second location, only to discover the road was closed for construction, requiring a huge detour with the moving truck. Throughout it all, Juan and Chuy remained calm, positive, professional, and solution-oriented. Not only are they incredibly strong and hardworking, but they are also surprisingly agile, careful, and detail-oriented with belongings. They maneuvered oversized furniture through challenging spaces, protected everything, and handled each problem with grace and good humor. We ended up spending nearly 10 hours together, and by the end of the day I was genuinely amazed by their work ethic, teamwork, efficiency, and attitude. They were quick without ever feeling rushed, careful without wasting time, and consistently friendly and cooperative. Moving can be incredibly stressful, but these two made me feel supported every step of the way. If you're lucky enough to have Juan and Chuy assigned to your move, consider yourself lucky. I am SO happy I decided to go with Terry Moving for our relocation from Irvine to San Clemente. I was referred to Terry Movers by my mother in law, who has used Mark Terry's company for 3 moves over the years, and also uses them for her storage needs. As a military brat, I've done my fair share of moves over the years and I have to say that Mark Terry and his crew did an amazing job of making a often frustrating, difficult event (MOVING!) easy and painless! First, Mark gave us an in-home, flat rate quote for our move. None of the "we charge by the hour" stuff that the other companies I researched were offering (what gives the movers incentive to work fast if they get charge by the hour?!). His quote was fair and beat every other company I had researched. They assisted us with moving supplies and were always around to answer questions leading up to the move - in fact Mark Terry answers the phone directly! Moving day went great. The crew was punctual, professional and took great care of our stuff. Nothing was damaged or lost. They guys unloaded everything super fast, put together any furniture that needed assembling, moved things that I wanted in a different location and then hauled away all the boxes. Ken and Danny showed up right on time, ready to go, and from the second they arrived, it was clear these guys are true professionals. What can we say, Mark Terry and every member of his team was awesome!!! When we were researching movers to select one that would support our important move from CA to TN, Terry Moving and Storage was recommended by a friend and employee (Vanessa). We selected them over larger movers based on their strong reputation of service, quality, flexibility, and cost competitiveness. From beginning to end, they demonstrated that we made the right decision entrusting them with with this important life event by making it a great experience. Mark, sales, packers, loaders, drivers, unloaders, and assemblers all treated us like VIPS and family. They were professional, very experienced, friendly, polite, listened to understand our needs, flexible, communicated proactively with us, responded quickly to our questions and concerns, were on time, did everything they promised, and handled our household goods as their own. Nothing was damaged or lost!!! And their cost was competitive. Bottom line, we were treated like family, and our items were handled with care. We had to move my elderly parents out of their condo in Laguna Woods, and ship their items to 3 different locations in Oregon and Washington, including up a very windy 2 lane country road to a tiny town in the middle of logging country. This move included a fair amount of paintings and sculptures, as well as mid-century modern furniture - all things we wanted to insure would arrive safe and sound. I searched through and spoke with many movers, and was most impressed with Terry Moving and Storage. Mark Terry, the owner, talked with me on the phone several times as I was making my decision. I was on a very tight schedule, as I was only in town for 4 days. He met with me on Friday morning, reviewed everything I needed, including packing up, and confirming the complex 3 destination delivery. Terry Moving and Storage was amazing! Mark was able to get us packed up and moved Tuesday morning, just 4 days later. They got our items delivered safe and sound a week later, after a 1300 mile journey. The price was more than reasonable, and the time frame was perfect. I couldn't have asked for better planning, and they worked entirely around my schedule. I would highly recommend Mark Terry and Terry Moving and Storage for any moving needs you have. I would use them again in a heartbeat!! read more

I have done many moves, previous moves have always cost me around ~$1,500 for a straight house to house move. This move is different in that we had to move from house to storage then to house. Below is our cost break down for a 3 bedroom 1,400 sq ft home. - Packing my items and to move me out it was $2,700 - storage for 5 months was $2,500 - to move me in is going to be ~$1,175 When I got my quote, the guy was very nice and gave me a quote and stated that he over estimated the quote to be safe. On moving day one guy helped us find some packed up stuff which was nice and another did work at a fast pace. The other couple guys were slower than what I have experienced in the past with other companies. The workers also smoked so many cigarettes that my landlord was very upset with me, he was convinced that I had been smoking while living at his house, due to all the butts that had been thrown in the driveway. When totaling up the hours they included all of their cigarette breaks in the time as well as their lunch, but did stay within the estimate. We had a local move in California from a condo in Irvine/Tustin area to an apartment 30 minutes north and our realtor had recommended this company. We got off to a later start due to scheduling an afternoon move and having to wait for the morning jobs to finish first but Mark Terry personally maintained communication with me through phone calls and texts which was not expected but truly appreciated as a customer. He was a man of his word and made sure our move was completed despite the delays. He is a man of integrity and character and I value that highly in people. The crew he sent worked extremely hard and efficiently the entire time they were on site. Jose, Joey, and Bernabe are three good guys and I would recommend them and work with them again anytime I needed to move. They were respectful and had great communication, always making sure to check in on what I needed or wanted them to do and had fun doing a job that can be stressful for someone moving. In the end my expectations were completely met as the entire move was completed in 3 hours including drive time. My husband and I moved from OC to Mesa, Arizona. We had a short escrow and had tons to do in a short period of time. We got 3 quotes, one of them personally by Mark Terry. His easy going attitude sold me right from the start. We chose Terry Moving and we were not disappointed! The price for moving, some packing and boxes was extremely competitive!...he and his staff were extremely responsive up until the move date providing boxes and packing material as soon as asked for. Customer service beyond what we were used to. He worked with us on our delivery date, giving us an exact day and time, not an estimate of 3 to 5 days like the other movers. Moving day was a breeze..his movers and packers showed up and in 2 hours they were done. They were efficient, responsive and professional. Delivery day came early in the morning and our belongings came in perfect shape and were unloaded in less time than it took to move. No problems, no issues, no breakage....seamless. As far as movers are concerned, Terry Movers are by far the best in their class. Terry - Just a quick note to thank you and your crew for an outstanding experience with helping to empty my mom's house in Covina, move some of it to my house, and then put the rest in storage. The moving crew was on time (a rarity with too many businesses!!), professional and totally customer focused. Anything I asked for got the same reply, "No worries. We'll take care of it." Mark in the warehouse also was terrific. When I needed a access early one morning to deal with the estate buyer, I got the same answer, "No problem. I'll have it ready for you." I showed up early since I'd never been to your facility before, and the storage modules were already out and waiting for me. I wish everyone I dealt with had the same attitude! I appreciate that the job may not have been all that big for your guys, but it was a big deal to my mom after having lived in her house for 50+ years. We have had unfortunate moving experiences in the past, so when searching for a mover we were skeptical. We actually went to Terry Moving facilities in Lake Forest, and met Mark, who stopped what he was doing and gave us a tour of his facility, even though we had no appointment. His whole storage and moving facility is spotless. It is much larger than we expected, and all the workers we passed smiled and acknowledged us, which we found surprising. We thought at the time, "wow, courteous staff!" We moved from Orange County to Northern California on March 16, and could not have been more satisfied with Terry Moving and Storage. Our movers showed up on time, energetic, polite, and extremely well organized. Chuck, Cody and Angel worked non stop getting our things safely into the truck, with only one very short break. The next morning Chuck and Cody arrived at our new home more than 400 miles away, all smiles and the same enthusiasm. NOTHING was even scratched. If I could give more stars to this company I would! Terry Moving and Storage were the most professional and efficient and personable moving service I have ever utilized. I moved from Texas to California then back to Texas and long distance moves are really not fun however, this company made it as smooth as possible. Mark came to my condo in California and did an assessment of the move and gave me up front and honest pricing. The following day boxes and some supplies were delivered for free! The moving team showed up on time and even helped me pack misc items that I didn't get boxed the night before. The most unbelievable part of my experience is I needed to move my delivery date up (again cross country) by 4 days. Mark and his team worked together switched trailers & drivers to get my items to me. In fact, when we closed on the house in Texas the truck and driver was in our driveway to welcome us to our new home! They unpacked, unwrapped, set up furniture in record time. Terry's Moving & Storage provided me with a Full Service (literally) and FIRST RATE EXPERIENCE during my arduous Relocation. They were the Angels who rescued me from what could've been a hellish Ordeal. They started by heavily padding & shrink wrapping all my Furniture, Artwork & expensive Breakables followed by carefully loading then safely transporting everything to a new County. Upon arrival, they unloaded a small portion into my Temporary Abode & hauled the rest to their Storage Warehouse where everything was safely placed & sealed into these Huge Wooden Crates. Years later I found my Permanent Home & Mr. Terry's Crew came through with FLYNG COLORS AGAIN! They delivered all my Storage Crates to the House then unsealed, off loaded & arranged all my large Furniture Items for me. I was amazed how absolutely PERFECT everything looked - as if Time had stopped!!! Not even a single speck of dust..... Makes me wonder if those Crates can stop the Human Aging Process, too. Mercy Movers was a complete disappointment for this single Mom…read more I had only heard good things about this moving company so I hired them just one week after I watched them move a very close friend of mine. It's almost as if they outsourced to a different company? My experience was 180° opposite of my friend that moved the week before. There was no Mercy Mover truck, it was a generic, plain white truck with a sticker on the passenger door, 4 men, one of whom had excellent work ethic. They wrapped a Staples desk chair that could survive being thrown out of a moving airplane- so unnecessary for a move 8 miles away. The youngest two were on their phones, clowning around, sitting around and vaping - it was a disaster. I was completely taken advantage of - and I bought them lunch. I probably paid for them to eat the lunch that I bought them because I certainly didn't see it deducted in my invoice. I had a three hour minimum & I have never seen people move so slow during the three hours, burning time. It took 5 1/2 hours for 4 men to load a medium size truck. Someone from the main company must have called the leader of this crew because it took them just more than an hour and 15 minutes to unload that entire truck. The decision to trust Mercy Movers cost me $1450 and 7 hours of my life I will never get back. I called to alert mgmt with no resolution. I hired another moving company to finish the job and they were lightning-fast, super professional, and I should've hired them to begin with. Ortegas Moving Co is who to call for consistent, good quality people with exceptional work ethic. Don't be fooled by the biblical references of Mercy Movers - it was a terrible choice. 1star to post the review *

I got one skilled mover and one that seems to have trouble figuring out how to move a dolly up and down a truck ramp. The communication with the phone coordinator was great for scheduling the week of. You have to make a deposit online, cash discount. My movers charged me correctly for the time, but it could've probably been done in an hour less with more efficient movers. Problem with the industry in itself is that movers are paid by the hour instead of the job itself. I do recommend this company, but these aren't the best movers I've used.
