They provided more movers for the hourly cost than the other two companies and were available. Darlene was kind and amazing, and thorough in asking questions about furniture, packing, pets, and exercise equipment. Things I didn't even consider! Day of the move (Saturday after Thanksgiving) Ryan, Santos, Mario and Amir showed up on time, carefully wrapped all of our furniture with either blankets or plastic wrap. The asked questions about where things should go, and questions about how to assemble or disassemble things. This is our third move, and we are not as young as we were with our last move. We had to make two trips, but it was still within budget. Next move, I'll call them again, and pay for packing (which we thought we could do on our own in our 50s!) Jeremiah's communication heading into the move was excellent and Mike and his team arrived right in the window they said they would. As soon as I gave them the rundown of the place, they wasted ZERO time and got straight to work - all the way until the last item was carried into the new place. Heading into this move, I was worried about taking apart our bed frames and putting them back together. Mission Movers took care of it at no extra cost. But the biggest thing for me is how friendly and HONEST the team was. One of my dining chairs was already cracked before the move and they approached me and apologized for thinking they did it. That small gesture went a long way for me and I know they were going to find a solution even if it was their fault. They also could've charged me for a full 4 hours but charged me to the exact minute they worked at 3.75 hours. Not to mention it was also a really hot day and they powered through it without a single complaint. My wife and I have said several times that we don't know how we would've done it without Mission Movers. I know exactly who I'm hiring for any of my future moves. 10/10 experience! When he was done, I did ask why a few things weren't trimmed, and for each he had an answer that made sense. Most importantly, I didn't have to ask him and go back and pull weeds that still remained or cut other things that should have been cut. On top of that, he trimmed my trees (small lemon and olive trees) way more than any other gardener before me, without my asking! We will never use them again---they broke our stuff and went radio silent after I filed the insurance paperwork. This was a short distance (like 7 mile) move for a small office space and should have been straight-forward. When it was over, they made a point to guide me onto yelp to give them 5 star reviews before they left. Things looked OK at that point, so I left the review, which the mover read and "approved". But when we started setting things up, we noticed two computer monitors were cracked and destroyed and an antique decorative trunk had the handle ripped off. I promptly went through the odious "insurance" process with this company, submitting photos, receipts and answering 20 questions about the damage, etc., but have yet to receive a response as to whether the damage is going to be covered. I keep calling and they say they will get back to me, but that a decision has been made. "What is that decision...?" The operator can't say, but pledges someone from their management will get back to me, which hasn't happened. It's now been over 6 months since our move. We have another move coming up in a few weeks and will not be using this company. read more

I had to hire movers because I don't trust myself to move my expensive furniture without damaging it. This moving company was highly rated, they sent Daniel and Alex over to safely move all my belongings. These guys were the perfect team. Daniel wrapped all my valuables so quickly, never seen someone wrap so fast. Alex was the guy taking everything to the truck. The dude was moving fast!!! I even tried to help because they were on the clock but these guys didn't need me. Almost felt like I was just in the way. I had manuals out to dismantle some furniture but Daniel didn't need them. I really didn't see him take anything apart or assemble anything like he was a ninja. I gave them little instructions and I really appreciate that. I put a lot of stuff in storage, and I have the full confidence that it will come out unscathed. I had the worst luck ever, and the day I scheduled my move, the entire block and alley by my apartment were blocked off for construction. These guys are awesome! I had Rhee and his crew, and they were nothing short of fantastic. They went out of their way to pack, wrap, and protect all of my belongings for the move. I did an inordinately long move for them- I moved 150 miles from Joshua Tree to San Diego, and it wasnt a problem for them at all. They showed up promptly, and even gave me an hour notice of what time they would be arriving. Up on our arrival, it was already dark and they didn't miss a beat. They worked hard in the dark until the job was dark, unwrapping all the furniture and carefully taking everything upstairs. They even helped me unload my personal vehicle. I had a wonderful experience with this company. We called at around noon trying to get movers same day. Right from calling with the dispatcher, we felt like a priority to them. It was a challenging, short time frame and they found an available team and truck for our move. LA traffic caused them to arive a little later than expected but they sent a text in advance explaining the traffic and gave a new ETA. Communication was really appreciated. When the movers (Vlad and Sergi) arrived they were right to work. They were professional, courteous, hard working. I had an excellently orchestrated move with MWAT Moving! They recommended 4 movers and at first I thought I might only need 3, but I am so happy I accepted their advice. This move went very smoothly. There was good communication amongst the movers and they were good about clarifying what needed to be done with certain items. The main mover Rudy was very professional and helpful in providing suggestions to help ease the move. All four movers (Rudy, Nathan, and the 2 Anton's) were very hard working, didn't waste any time, and took direction well. I have moved a lot and this was by far one of the most easiest moves. The guys were on time and did a great job moving the contents of a 3 bedroom house in Azusa to a 4 bedroom in Orange, about an hour's drive. The 3-man crew were careful, conscientious and worked fast. It was a full day move involving some packing services, other things prepacked, and lots of wall art, etc, that required special care and wrapping,including moving an upright piano and heavy safe. The total was about $2300, almost exactly what I expected. I advise using cash for the lower rate vs credit or debit card. I initially sought MWAT out because I required a long distance move between LA and San Diego, and they are one of the few movers that service the whole area. Moved from SoCal to NorCal, packed up my 3 bed home one day and drove up North the next morning. Other companies told me I would not have my stuff for 3 days, these guys got it done in 2 days. Manolo, Vahid and Muradin took good care of all of my belongings, wrapped everything with plastic, even my children's toys that wouldn't fit in a box. They were professional and fast. I finally had a friend tell me he utilized yelp for a project inquiry and that helped in getting businesses to reach out to me with a little more of a targeted price, but it also felt like a lot of the responses where AI responses. Prime Moving was the only company who called me. I honestly still wasn't 100% sold as I wanted a more concrete rate that I would be paying and not put in a situation where any movers knowing it's an hourly rate past the required 3 hours could take advantage of the situation and take longer to get more money. I fully understand it's nearly impossible to determine how long a move will take but I think most still want some sense of security that it'll only cost "xyz" amount. This isn't a comment specific to Prime Moving but the moving industry as a whole from what I experienced. A friend had mentioned they utilized Prime Moving so I felt that bit of security and ultimately went with them. Adam was one of the two movers and both were very kind and professional. They wrapped the items I need and got my moved out and into my new place in such an efficient manner I was trying to keep up with them.

They partially disassembled my twin bed, transported it, and reassembled it flawlessly at my new place. Every item, no matter how big or small, was handled with incredible care and attention to detail. I also have to commend them on their ability to move all my things up two flights of stairs since the elevator at my complex was broken! They made what is usually a stressful experience feel smooth and effortless. On top of the excellent service, their pricing was very fair and well worth the cost. It's rare to find a team that's fast, careful, and affordable, but they checked every box. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers. I got one skilled mover and one that seems to have trouble figuring out how to move a dolly up and down a truck ramp. The communication with the phone coordinator was great for scheduling the week of. You have to make a deposit online, cash discount. My movers charged me correctly for the time, but it could've probably been done in an hour less with more efficient movers. Problem with the industry in itself is that movers are paid by the hour instead of the job itself. I do recommend this company, but these aren't the best movers I've used.
