My daughter was originally working with Arina, who was very pleasant and professional. At one point, she had to step away to assist another client with a test driving, and Gabriel stepped in to help. I also want to note that the store itself was really nice and very clean--but of course, it's Tesla, so that was expected. However, when Gabriel began discussing payment options with our daughter, my husband and I felt his approach was more focused on making a sale, and rushed rather than genuinely helping her find the best option. Our daughter also mentioned that the energy shifted noticeably from Arina to Gabriel, which made her uncomfortable. There was a lot of back-and-forth regarding the numbers, and the payment amounts Gabriel shared did not align with what was previously discussed. Because of this, I advised our daughter to hold off on making a purchase, which was disappointing. Additionally, Gabriel shared a story about going out drinking with his friends and using a Tesla (self drive) to drive them home. While I understand trying to make a sale, this is not something that should be shared with a customer--especially when the customer is our daughter and us, her parents are present and listening. Overall, I believe the sales experience could benefit from additional training to ensure consistency, transparency, and professionalism. Went to the Tesla mall location and I was surprised that there would be a Tesla location at Del Amo Mall (across from Apple). Natalie was very nice, patient, and helpful. She went over my options and for leasing vs buy and I ended up walking out of there with an order placed. The buying experience is easy and was done completely online and through the Tesla app. I was able to use the Federal Tax Credit on my purchase along with a $500 referral credit (which Natalie was kind enough to mention to me). Shopping at The Del Amo Fashion Center, I noticed the Tesla store, so I decided to come in & browse the vehicles, roofs & power walls. Mando offered assistance, and was ready for any questions I managed to come up with. Starting with the roofs & power walls, I then moved over to the vehicles and inspected the various models & what not. I have test driven the older Model X & Y, with the vertical screens, previously. Signs saying "Take a Test Drive today" kept enticing me, so I bit the bullet & decided to test drive a current year Model X. The test drive was simple & independent. Mando took the key fob and led me to the parking structure, where the vehicles are kept. He gave me a brief rundown on what to know before the test drive, and soon it was just me & the Model X. The navigation map already had a set trip to follow, but I ventured a little bit off the preset path. Autopilot was disabled, so I couldn't flip it on for a bit. While driving, I moderately punched the accelerator on the straightaways, practiced parking & utilized various functions on the screen. With classic rock pumped through the premium speakers as my soundtrack, I ventured back to The Del Amo Fashion Center & returned the key fob to Mando. I was quite satisfied with my visit to the Tesla store and with Mando's customer service. I gathered more intel & enjoyed the personal interaction, over just checking out Tesla's website. read more

I checked in on time for my test drive and was told to sit tight while my salesperson was finishing up with another customer. 15 minutes later my appointment gets cancelled. I let the checkin worker know and he told me to hang tight it would be okay. Another 15 minutes go by and the salesperson who my appointment was with shows up to assist another customer who had gotten to the store after me. I ask her about my test drive and she tells me my appointment was canceled because I was late, meanwhile I have been waiting in the store the whole time. From that point it took another 10 minutes just to get a new test drive appointment started. I get stores can get busy, but please be respectful of my time specially when I have been patiently waiting. I did not like the fact that I was accused of being late to my appointment. I've been to this store twice. They seem to have a staffing issue, but that's not the employees fault. However on my second visit as I walked in the store there was only one employee who made eye contact with me and then proceeded to get on a phone call. So I waited for 15 mins for a second employee to arrive and tried his best to multitask between the four customers waiting. Disappointing experience. I walked in to the store and spoke with Chris about trading in my 2018 Model S for a new one. I was ready to make a move, and he sent me a trade-in estimate via email. I went home and talked to my husband, and the next day, I sent a text message to the number that Chris provided to me, asking for the numbers so I could get things moving. I got a text back saying that Chris would get back to me. That was days ago, I still haven't heard from anyone. I followed up, but no response. I finally purchased my first Tesla and I can't say enough about the level of service that we got at this location and their Tesla Expert, Stephanie! We were trying to determine if the 7-seater was going to be right for us and they actually allowed us to take it out overnight so that we can try the car out with six people and see how we all fit. It honestly really sealed the deal on the model y for us and we ended up getting our new car. We were in the mall for dinner and I noticed the Tesla store on the lower level, being that I have problems with head and leg room in many cars I wanted to just sit in one of the cars to see what it was like, While they didn't have a Model S to try they did have the Model 3 and the Model Y which both offer me ample head and leg room. We were helped by Erick and Gordon who were both very knowledgeable on the cars, and very helpful even though I told them I was not ready to buy, the only pressure they applied was to take the model Y for a test drive and I did relent and took it around the block, getting used to the reactive breaking will take some time. Overall the Model Y was nice, still need to decide if a Tesla will be our next car. The low pressure sales and friendliness of the staff at the Del Amo Location is very refreshing. I took a test drive in a Model Y. I totally loved the vehicle and placed an order and was told to leave a $100 deposit. I soon received an email stating the $100 was a non-refundable "order fee." I clarified with my sales rep it was independent of the vehicle cost and non-refundable. As a result of losing confidence in the honesty and integrity of this location I cancelled my new vehicle order. Tesla has a very poor performance for after market support. I had an emergency and they kept me on hold for more than 45 minutes and couldn't get to me for about 2 hours. I will not buy another Tesla unless the get their act together and give good after market support. I am not tech savy and want to speak to a live person. Good luck. I highly recommend the Del Amo Tesla store if you're a serious buyer. Tesla has the entire purchase process set up online in a way that is ridiculously easy and convenient so you don't need to talk to anyone to reserve, buy, and even pick up the car. So I didn't imagine needing the mall store before I bought my Tesla, however with special circumstances for my purchase it was really nice to have someone helpful to work with in person that could answer all of my questions and get the process over with quickly. So I ordered my model Y online on the first day that the massive discount promo started back in late December 2022. However, I changed my mind about the model Y specs I reserved online and wanted help transferring them over to another reservation for a model Y closer to my liking that was in inventory up in the Bay Area. So the next day I showed up at the store hoping to get help with the entire process and go through each of the pre delivery tasks since I wanted to pick up the car just a few days after. I wish I could remember her name (Zakia?), but I worked with this really nice associate (tall lady) that was very knowledgeable and capable of answering all of my questions and went through all of the pre-delivery checklist items one by one to completion. What I appreciated most of all was that she was very patient. I had my kids with me at the time and they were running all over the showroom floor playing with the demo Teslas. I couldn't get through 5 minutes of conversation before I had to interrupt and chase them down. After about 45 minutes after starting the consultation (including the time chasing my kids around and pausing to research/get all of the sensitive information needed on the spot), it was nice to walk out of the store having the entire process completed from start to finish with the only thing left to do being picking up the car itself. This was all thanks to the efficient help I received from the associate. And my car was ready in under 2 weeks, much sooner than I expected. First go around I had to wait over 3 months. Had the opportunity to look at and peruse all the novel features associated with new Tesla models. They have several in store cars which you are allowed to check out and sit in. The Teslas come in so many different colors. The model X and the model 3 were in store and there's one with the very fancy butterfly doors! There is a very cool touchscreen board which you can customize and tinker with all the different features that you'd like to include to your dream car. Comes with statistics of gas mileage, engine efficiency, and energy savings. The service was impeccable. The store clerks gave you space but if you had questions, they were lightning quick to inform you and advise.
