Worst service around, had my car towed there two weeks ago. It took a week and half to figure out what was wrong with it. After days of no communication, they finally figured out what was wrong. They told me it would be a couple of days until it's complete, then they call me saying they ordered the wrong parts. I keep calling everyday and they tell me they're going to call back and I get no communication!! This is very frustrating, how are they supposed to professional when this nonsense is going on! It seems like this place doesn't care about customers, I had to get a rental because they don't have any loaners there and it's costing me thousands of dollars on top of the repairs. I will definitely do more research before I bring any car here and you should to. read more

I had scheduled an appointment for today August 21st after checking on the GMC app. I figured since they are so big and the first thing you see when coming from the airport that I take my business as a new customer to them to have a transmission on my 2016 Denali checked among the suspension and other things. My appointment was for 9:45am and since I was running late due to some mayor traffic related to the 99 construction on 1485, I decided as a conscious person to give them a heads up about my tardiness. First, in order to reach a department,  it's way too many commands. When I finally reach service and spoke to Alicia (pardon if the name is not spelled correct) explained the situation,  puts me on a brief hold and then tells me that my "advisor" Alex (didn't know this was a thing there) mentioned that it was okay for me to get there late but that the transmission person is out on vacation and that it would be at least a week out before they can even check my truck. That they can do tire rotation but the transmission would need to wait. Now, as a dealer, wouldn't you think that customer service is priority and that a phone call to the customer who is bringing their truck in for various services would have been useful? If it wasn't for my call I wouldn't had known. A phonecall could've went a long way in terms of service. I mean, a tire rotation can be done literally anywhere. The big items here were transmission and suspension but yet no care to advise the customer that these items would need to wait as there is a backlog. Would it be too hard to grab the phone and say "hey, your big items would need to wait but we can do this other piece"; would that be so hard to do? As a company that "prides themselves" on customer service, I must say that you are falling short of it. Very short and that explains the low rating on your Facebook page. As a new Texan,  I'll be doing business somewhere else and would not recommend this place. read more

Texan GMC Buick does NOT want to sell cars! For the last month I have attempted to custom order a 2022 GMC Yukon Denali from this dealership. First I talked to Bobby in the internet sales group. Once he determined that I did not want to buy something I did not want from inventory, he was not interested. I tried multiple times to get him to order a new one for me. Nothing! Since I bought my last Yukon Denali from them, I decided to try one last time. I called in for new car sales. Was directed to a salesperson named Shannon. She was pleasant and took my new car configuration. She even sent me a confirmation of what we had discussed. She said her General Sales Manager would need to actually submit the order. She was going to meet with him and then call me back that afternoon. That was 6 days ago. I have emailed, texted and called but can get no new information. After over a month of giving this dealership the benefit of the doubt.....I am DONE! Today I went to another dealer and the order is already submitted. read more

I purchased a vehicle on Monday Aug. 14, 2023. The problem is that when the sale person Mrs. Geraldine told me that I would need 2500 as a down payment , I told her the most I could do was a $1000, she went and told the finance personnel working on my file, and they agreed, no one not even the finance person working on my file told me that they would contact Texan GMC next door and use refund of 1,580.00 to add to my down payment without my knowledge. Its alot sneaky things going on at texans dodge and they only care about selling the next vehicle. I was also told that I would need my spouse on the loan only because of our prior purchase history together. Come to find out at signing that she is not even on the loan at all after pulling her credit report. Even thought she was on the loan for my trade in vehicle. It's almost like texans dodge does whatever they want to whoever to make a sell. I need that $1500 back from my canceled warranty. It's funny because a finance person told me I can bring the truck back and cancel the new deal and get my old vehicle back. How bout that great customer service! On December 15, 2018 I had an appointment to drop our truck off at your dealership because of a squealing noise when I stepped on the accelerator. After my arrival I was greeted by your service representative who identified himself as Victor. Victor advised that Tests would be Run to determine the problem that he said could be a Pulley or worn out Timing Belt. Later in the morning I received a message call from Victor and when I called him back he advised the squealing noise was a brake issue with metal to metal. Victor also advised that our truck needed a new A/C Compressor. Being told our brakes were metal to metal was shocking since we get regular oil changes and tire rotations at your dealership and no service representative ever told us our brake linings need changing or were worn out. I have a Nissan I bought at Robbins and when I have that vehicle serviced they always tell me the status of my brakes, tires, air filters. I truly believe that had your service department informed me at services that the brakes needed changing we would not have to spend the amount of money now required to fix the brakes. Regarding the A/C Compressor, one year ago the Compressor was replaced under warranty and we paid $50 and when I mentioned that to Victor he told me that the replaced Compressor was just a temporary fix and that our truck needed an updated Compressor that was under warranty but we would have to pay another $50 to have another one installed. Our trust with your Service Department is broken and I no longer believe that your Dealership has the interest to help us maintain the operating condition of our truck. We will now have to drive many miles to another GMC Dealership just for regular service. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE!!!!!!! I have been to this dealership several times, and every single time I have had issues due to the techs working on my vehicles and not doing the job right. First was my wife's Yukon XL Denali, the ac was messed up, I took it to them, they claimed to fix it, with a new blower fan and some other parts, had to recharge the system. I get it back and within a day the passenger side floor board is full of water. I take it back up they said, sorry we forgot to connect the drain tube. (Understandable and first experience) The hook it up in a day and I get the vehicle back. Later on we are in Dallas and AC goes out with my three young kids in it and 100 degrees outside. I find some of the new expensive Freon, put it in make it to home. Take it to them and they claim its a bad compressor, not under warranty and quote me like $3000. I look into it and there is a safety switch that will not allow the compressor to engage without enough Freon, so I know that's a lie. I ask for them to look again and run Die in it, turns out its the condenser, they say its not under warranty, even though they removed it to work on it last time. They cracked a fitting and now Freon leaks. I took it to another replace and they fixed it for $750.00 and charged it and warrantied it. I later went to trade the GMC Yukon XL in (For a KIA my wife loves) and they said there was fraud attempt with the gauge and changing the miles, looking into it, when I took it back to the dealership to tell them what was wrong with it they entered the wrong mileage and now the dealership wont give me much money for it. Really putting the wrong miles in and now I'm being punished. I recently bought a GMC Sierra SLT, with about 20,000 miles on it, shortly after the cam got flattened and push rod bent and lifter messed up. New LT 6.2 are notorious for that. I took it on to Texan GMC I should've known better, they told me what I already knew and gave me a rental, which I had to beg for. They supposedly pulled the motor and put all new push rods, lifters and a cam in it, they did it in about 10 days. I was impressed because I have horror stories about these parts taking time to get it. The best techs worked on it to, they claimed. I figure they did it so fast because it is warranty and they can bill for it. I got the truck back and noticed some loose bolts, visually at the dealership and the rep saw me tighten them. After he said he had his best tech work on my stuff. I tightened them up. about 2000 miles later I'm driving down a major high way at night and it went into limp mode, lost all power, stopped me, then wouldn't let me catch up to speed. Then it just went on like nothing ever happened. I got home and popped the hood, the alienator was so hot the wires melted on it, the lug melted on it and the shrouding was melting, everything was loose, I could turn the lugs/bolt on the alternator by hand. I left it alone and called Texan GMC again. Took it to them, asked for a new harness because even though the internal wires didn't looked damage the outer section was melted, they claim only the main lug and alternator and bolt to be replaced. Are you kidding my, they claim the harness is on national back order and cant get one. I asked if they did a continuity check and they said no we standby our work though. If you did that I wouldn't be here. Now when other items mess up because of these wires have now almost been melted and they get brittle and break, I'm the one paying. Pictures below of the melted wires and lugs, also I had to take a picture while driving so I could prove what happened. They have now had my truck one month waiting on parts really an alternator, belt and wire? Come on man I know how things work, that stuff is on the shelf and easy to get. These guys are rookies and don't know anything about repairing things right. I hope no one belt or alternator goes out, it'll take a while to get parts! Oh now they don't wanna offer me a fair trade either for another GMC. STAY CLEAR OF THESE GUYS! read more

I found a vehicle online priced at 34995. I talked to their salesmen and started the process online to purchase it. I received a call asking if I would be willing to put any more money down. I said that I would negotiate and offer 2000 more and asked if they would be willing to bring down the price 2000 as well. I received a text from the salesman saying that we were approved for our original amount but when I was sent a picture of the paper with all the pricing details they had raised the price by 2000. I had documented that the price for the vehicle on line was for 34995. The paper said that it was 36995. There was no answer to my request for negotiation on the price. I might have not worried about them lowering the price if they had not then raised the price by the EXACT amount that I offered to put down on top of my original offer. I then text the salesman back pointing out that this was not the price that we had talked about before. He did not respond so I called. He then handed me to his manager who told me that I was crazy. That the online price was at 36995. (By that time it had in fact been changed to a higher amount.) My documentation said otherwise and he refused to acknowledge that they had even raised the price. I should have read the other reviews. It is apparent that this company has made a habit of this bait and switch practice. I have worked in the car selling business and seen companies do this first hand. It is cheap and deplorable business practice that makes the car buying and selling process a hellish experience. I am extremely disappointed that another grown adult would act in such a way and then lie to me about it. I strongly urge anyone looking to buy a vehicle from them to be very careful and double check the price you are signing up for before buying. read more

My daughter went to test drive a car she saw online. Afterwards she was given a quote by the salesman. She did not commit or sign anything. The quote she was given was over $2000 more than the price online and included bogus fees. In addition, Without asking or permission they ran her credit which now affects her credit score! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! After dealing with Johnny a few years back, we thought we would get another vehicle at Texan GMC as he was a great salesman. Since he has been gone, the last two times of attempting, we have had horrible service, especially with Thomas McKinney (salesman both times). We recently called about a specific vehicle advertised online, confirmed with him the vin, price, color and miles and that it was ONSITE. I told Thomas I would be there in 20 minutes. Got to the dealership and was greeting by someone all the way across the room sitting at their desk. Confirmed that was Thomas McKinney. He said that the vehicle was not there and he was about to call me. Not an apology- not even offering to show us anything else for the inconvenience and not to mention all of the "managers" sitting/standing around at the sales desk just watching and not on person came out to say a word. Shook hands and took the deal. Well i get my first statement in and low and behold it was 68,999 plus ttl and Added another 2900 on top of the agreed to price. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I couldn't give no star. I had spoken with T-Mac on a Saturday evening to purchase a pick-up. Then again on Monday to get all necessary information and paperwork completed. He spoke with the representative at our CU, he presented the purchase order, purchased order was approved, then he tells me when I'm on the way to pick up the truck, the vehicle had been sold. I don't know what kind of games this guy is running, but I guessed because I was going through my CU, apparently he wasn't making as much money on the deal as he could've if I'd not went through my CU, so he sold it where he could. Thank you T-Mac, I found a better vehicle somewhere else, (did the same thing as I did with you) called about the vehicle I saw on their website, they put the vehicle on hold, they provided the CU with the purchase order, purchase order was approved, I picked up the truck the same evening. On December 12, 2020 , my truck was at Texan GMC for service and it was stolen in from the dealership. The GM refused to answer my phone calls or emails. The service manager informed me they were not liable or negligent. On a side note, they had my truck on and off for 3 weeks and couldn't figure out the problem. I was told by another mechanic they were just throwing parts at it.... Myself and my family have bought at least 4 vehicles from them. I am beyond disgusted with how they have handled this. I wanted to look at a used truck and I did but when I opened the door the smell if cigarettes slapped me in the face, then I noticed minor hail damage in the hood to which the salesman said they could repair. After asking what the price was he was firm at 33k and I had asked if the smell could be removed... The reply I got kinda shocked me, I was told once I but the vehicle they would take care of the hail damage and the cigarette smell.. I looked at my wife and it hit us both, if you could've repaired those issues then why try to sell it and not fix them... I just wonder if anybody has ever had a good experience from Texan. We signed for a vehicle Friday May 22 and that they had to do a dealer transfer for the color I wanted. I was told they had secured the vehicle. Monday I had not heard anything. After two phone calls to two different people they never returned my calls over a seven hour time frame. I went back to the dealership. Was finally told by the general manager that the vehicle has been sold by the other dealership and they were unable to find a comparable vehicle for me. We go back to the lot and look at secondary alternatives on coloration etc. that are in stock. we reclose on a different vehicle on Monday the 25th. I'm told it will be ready Tuesday to pick up. After being promised a call when it went into service for prep no call had been made to me. I made six calls to the dealership. None of my voicemails were returned and both times I talked to a live person I was told they had no information for me. At 8:30 I get a text "trucks ready come get it". Not even the courtesy of a phone call for that. we drive to the dealership, my wife expresses her displeasure with the buying experience to the sales manager. he then pages my salesman who is in the process of walking me back to customer service to pick up my vehicle. my salesman comes back and says "we're not sure we want to sell you a vehicle anymore". When asked why he replied that they would rather not make a sale rather than get a bad review. I replied that they earned the review honestly and I wasn't making anything up. I will give props to their customer relations person, Tara. she finally got me into the vehicle Tuesday night about 10 o'clock. She has worked with me to give me a couple of free add ons to my truck to make up for all the screw ups on the sales side. As I told several people in the sales department, all they needed to do was have one person care enough about customer service to return a phone call or make a two minute phone call over the course of five days. Instead I end up making multiple calls to try to get information and close the deal when you would think the person making the sale and the commission would be the one trying to be proactive. and then to threaten to pull the deal at the 11th hour I found very unprofessional. Long story short... My 3rd-row seat to my Yukon Denali was stolen in Dallas and I had to order a new one. In the meantime, I used a loaner one because I needed a seat for my kids until my new one arrived. When I got my seat in, I needed to ship the loaner one back, but I couldn't remove it because it was stuck. I stopped by this dealership and Lazaro helped me out. He was friendly and very, very fast. Somehow, my kids got marinara sauce underneath the seat (gross lol) and he even wiped that up. It seemed as though he was busy doing something else when I got to this location, but he took the time to help my clueless self out and I appreciate that to the fullest. had towed car there to have it checked what was wrong with it , they said $250. just go see what's wrong with it not to repair yet then come to find out the repairs are $4,400 total. they also want $1,800 plus $242 plus$900 something I cant even get my car out now from them till I pay in full and now have no transportation should of just took it somewhere in Houston to a mechanic instead. Spending so much on Uber lyft everyday with out my car no way I'll be able to catch up and get my car out will never go back to them for any mechanical work ever !!!!!,... I think they put more parts than I needed and probably added things that didn't even need to be replaced the engine control module is not $4400 the wiring harness either . The harness is probably $150-$220 the ecm is probably $500-$1000 so I just can't fathom how on earth it's damn near $5,000 almoat and now I can't even get my car out from gmc Buick until payment is made. Worse Dealership EVER!!!! After spending two weeks working with a Salesman and Sales Manager, I thought we had a deal. My husband and I drove from Cleveland to go sign papers and pick up our New Buick Encore, and what we walked into was HORRIBLE... Everything from the past two weeks seemed to have gone out the window. They paired us with a different Salesman and started the entire car buying process over. I got my car from this dealership maybe one year ago, recently my car engine light turned on. I immediately called the dealership and took my car to get it serviced. The Service worker told me they won't be able to figure out the problem for a week, and if it is covered under my warranty they'll fix it then and there. I am a college student, that also works and missed about 2 days of work already and was in need of a loner car or a rental for the replacement of my car while it is getting serviced. They did not provide that. After a week of waiting they told me they couldn't figure out my car issue and it was going to be sent to The Hyundai dealership. While at this dealership the Service guy named Lane stated he that he will be able to squeeze my car in either 4/5/22 or today. When calling up there Richard claimed he won't be able to see my car 2 to 3 days now. I can not get a rental if i do not know the issue of my car. Me and my husband were looking to buy a 2022 GMC Arcadia I wanted a specific color that the original dealer that we went to did not have they referred us to this dealer and this was a big mistake.. The salesman Syed told the other salesman that we were dealing with that they would honor the price and everything was set all we had to do was to come in and get paperwork ordering started. When we arrived he immediately tried to add on additional costs that we did not need.... we specifically told him this is not what was told to the salesman that we were dealing with... we told him that the price that was agreed upon should be the price and should be honored, he then said they could not do it... I was furious my husband too. We drove 45min for a lie and wasted our time.. I asked to speak to a manager which never came to talk ... so we left and went back to a better dealership and I purchased another color that was just as good... it is not worth the hassle dealing with these people at this dealership.... they will bait and switch you... dont waste your time. It is a shame that these are Business practices that they are implementing at this place... customer are being fooled and lied too... they could have honored what they said but they chose not too.
