Went to see the Alamo and afterwards we wanted to find somewhere for lunch. We came across Texas Sizzle. First glance it looks a little old but when you walk in it looks way different (in a good way) the food was wonderful I ordered the Grilled chicken sandwich, I went with my family who ordered the BLT, Texas Cheese steak, and Grilled cheese with bacon added. The people who work here are really nice and they make sure you know that they appreciate you for coming which is nice. The on out thing I would change about this place is that it is very small so if you have a big party it's not the greatest place to sit down at but the food is amazing (highly recommend) read more

I ordered the sizzle street tacos with thinly sliced steak (comes with 4) and my coworker ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. The lady at the counter recommended the chicken sandwich with a twist, not sure what they switched up but she said it was her favorite. The chicken sandwich was amazing. Great flavored chicken and a perfect combination of crispy shell and melted cheese. GET THE SALSA here. The green is amazing and has great spice. It would be a decent option for a family with kids hoping not to break the bank. Unfortunately the food was just ok. I had a chicken fajita quesadilla and I was underwhelmed. I had a bad feeling when I saw the cook bust out frozen peppers. This pretty much made the quesadilla eat very mushy and it was also rather greasy. I got my food to go and was disappointed there was no salsa or anything with the quesadilla, I would have gladly paid a little more if I had been offered this as an option when ordering. By the looks of the other food people were eating I'd call this place a greasy spoon kind of joint. I may give it another try sometime for some breakfast but not impressed. read more
