I was looking for a bakery in that area that did wedding cakes at a reasonable price that had great reviews and came across MG Bakery in Gustine. Gustine is so close to Santa Nella so thought we would give it a try. I called and got in touch with Gladis who helped me throughout the entire process. She was so helpful and gave me so much guidance on what I needed. She suggested ordering cupcake samples to try out the flavors of the wedding cake.. she also gave me suggestions on what the best sellers were, what filling goes best with the bread and also gave me feedback on my budget. My husband and I drove from SJ to the bakery and tried them out and omg they were all so delicious!!! We ordered guava with custard filling, carrot cake with vanilla filling and strawberry with strawberry jelly. All were so good! The bread was so moist and the flavors were so different and tasty! I sent Gladis photos of my inspiration and they did exactly what I asked for. We ordered a 3 tier cake and also did an order of cupcakes and it was almost all gone.. haha. Luckily the hotel staff saved my husband and I a plate of cake. We got so much positive reviews from our guests on the bakery. The pricing was so reasonable and honestly worth more than what they charged because it was THAT GOOD!!! Oh and by the way- They also delivered the cake to the venue for a small delivery fee and set up for us. They put the cake topper on and the greenery on the cake and cupcakes. It was so stress free. We stopped at Yogolicious to have some yogurt and socialize. I paid for 4 yogurt cups. I did notice that they already were putting away their fresh fruit. I also noticed a woman with her kids sitting down having yogurt. We realized they were closing early because they had empty chairs upside down on the tables. My friends and I decided to have our yogurt on the tables outside to socialize and enjoy our yogurt. At 8;59 pm I noticed the mother that sitting with her kids on the table inside walking out of Yogolicious. She was asked to leave because they were closed. I could see the look on her face was in disbelief that they asked her to leave right away. We were sitting outside on one of the two tables outside when an employee confronted us and told us we couldn't sit down on the table. We asked her why, she said it would attract other people to sit at the other table. She also said that she would get in trouble if her manager found out that we were sitting there. I asked her then if she had the owners phone number. She didn't give me an answer, and went back inside. We finished our yogurt at the table. At 9:45 Pm the two employees locked the door and left. The yogurt was good, but honestly due to the rude service and attitude, i will never set foot in Yogolicious again. I never write reviews; But because this employee put a bad taste in my mouth, i felt it was necessary to let people know what poor service is given at this facility. I observed about eight people about 8:59 to 9:05 pm wanting to get some yogurt. The employees were more concerned about closing than last minute service. If this business goes out of business, It'll because of the poor service from their employees.

We had reservations for both Saturday and Sunday, but we stopped in on Saturday to cancel that day's reservation since we'd already eaten lunch and knew we wouldn't be hungry by dinnertime. On Sunday, when we checked in for our reservation, I was impressed -- the hostess remembered us by name, which says a lot considering how many guests come through the restaurant. We were seated, and soon after we were greeted by Eleanor, our server. She was warm, attentive, and never made us feel pressured, which was a huge improvement from a previous visit. She answered every question I had, including how they cook a medium‑rare steak (every chef has their own interpretation, lol). She also gave an honest answer when I asked whether the vegetables used at dinner come from their greenhouse. The service felt genuine, and the food was excellent -- a much better experience than my last review. This visit was absolutely worth the return. Kudos to Eleanor and the Kitchen at The Mission.

Came with my siblings and parents for banana splits, as it was my birthday. The store hours say they close at 10:30pm, but when 10:00pm came around the employee said to my mom "I don't mean to diss you like this but we're closing so you'll have to take your stuff to go". Mind you we were already sitting and eating and it banana splits. We had been there for 15 minutes already! It's not like we showed up last minute. He was a teenager but that doesn't mean he can say such rude and disrespectful things. Foods good but the employees are awful. read more
