My HVAC was fixed by another provider just by replacing the sensor. This is while Service Experts recommended $1K+ part placements and later stating that would not fix anything and I needed to replace the unit (that is furnace, condenser, and coil for $10K+). While in my attic they also told me I needed to replace my water heater tanks either with new tanks ($8K+) or with a tankless water heater ($6.5K). They also attempted to sell me their "maintenance plan" and "advantage plan" which basically locks you in for 10 years if you replace anything while the replacement is not even yours. It is leased to you. AVOID BY ALL MEANS!

One of the services I had with them was the maintenance program. After I thought I resolved the Advantage program issue, I decided to cancel the maintenance program where they charge my credit card each month. To avoid confusion, I waited until after the April charge, called April 14 and cancelled over the phone. I asked for an email confirmation, and someone called back and said they couldn't provide that. That was a huge red flag, so I checked my credit card online, and of course they charged me again in May. So I filed a disputed charge with the credit card company. I have email confirmation of the resolution of the Advantage program issue, and they sent me a statement where they first charged me for the item, then credited me for it. That by itself would sound correct, but then there was a sentence that my monthly charge would be the full amount of the charge each month. I will probably have to wait and see next months and file another complaint. In the meantime, I have notified their resolutions team about both, for whatever good that might do.
