Great place for steak but also for chicken. We went for a birthday lunch and we were a party of 5. 3 of us ordered the rib-eye, one the country fried chicken and one the steak medallions. Steaks came out just as we requested and were flavorful and delicious. My mom said her chicken was very tasty. I also had the loaded potato soup which was good and had yummy pieces of bacon in it. Oh my goodness. After a bad experience with cold food last time, we thought we would try one more time. Had a hunk of meat delivered to our table with no baked potato? No notice, nothing, just plop the meat down with little explanation other than they had no baked potatoes and wouldn't have any for 20 minutes. Really, at 6:15 on a Saturday night (July 15, 2017)? We asked for the Manager and low and behold about 10 minutes later, once the steak was cold, we have a baked potato personally delivered by the Manager with a zeroed out bill. Not the loaded potato we ordered and not such a nice delivery by the Manager. When we got home the Manager called our home! I can't believe he would do this. Such an invasion of privacy, as he obviously had to look up our names in their database. We have been going to this location in Arvada maybe 4-5 times a year since they've opened. Restaurants are a dime a dozen now in the Arvada area and competition must be fierce. The manager should have made things right with us when we were in the restaurant, other than zeroing out our bill, with no opportunity to order anything else - no drinks, nothing. We were basically kicked out! We will NEVER be back and I plan to notify Corporate Texas Roadhouse about this Manager's follow up by calling my home. Not right, absolutely not right! This has been my go to steak house for a few years. Minor issues here and there but no sense in crying over spilt milk, until today. 40 min to be seated, and did the call ahead seating. Waited 40 min for food to come out. I ordered a medium steak, guy says hot pink center right. You got it!...... we'll get my steak with my sides, cut in and it raw. Asked to her it fixed, comes back 20 min later well done. Now my sides are cold- my shrimp and chili. Ok, no big deal I wanted to eat it with my steak but I guess I'll eat the steak alone when it comes out. Well, 3rd steak comes out after 30 mins with new sides. Cut into my steak, even worse then before. Charred outside, that's all. Too raw makes me sick. Ya, to angry to eat. They pay for my meal like that fixes anything. Complete disappointment. Called in a phone order today,I was there at 4:50 pm got to window to pick up order, guy behind window said my total was $116 so I gave him $130 then he told me the total again, so I thought he meant $160 so I took cash back and recounted it so I gave him $150 as he gave me receipt was $116 so he gave me $13 dollars back I said that was not right change then he got attitude started calling names at window at the end I didn't get all my change back was short $10 dollars, calling costumers idiot and stupid should not be working at window . no customer service ,I hope to get a response from management read more

This was by far one of the poorest restaurant experiences I've encountered. My family and I called an hour ahead of time for reservations and still waited 20 minutes before we were seated. Waiter was friendly initially but as we waited and waited for our meals, they NEVER came. We waited over an hour for food while other people who arrived AFTER us had already eaten and left. We sat through two Birthday songs for surrounding tables, still no food. We were told our food would be out shortly at least 3 times. I ordered an appetizer sampler for my meal and my order arrived INCORRECT of course. My family still never received any food at this point. We were offered 1/2 off our meals, but after waiting so long we just left all together. Some guy chased us down to the car to give us vouchers. We left hungry and very dissatisfied. Drove up, let the 4 girls standing outside under a tent know my name, and they said okay, go park and someone will be with you. Parked our car and proceeded to wait. 10 minutes go by and nobody so much as looks our way so i move my car to aim at them, maybe they didn't see me. They stare at us and still nothing. So I drive up and ask a girl walking out and she proceeded to tell me to just park. So, I ask again, she YELLS at me and tells me she dont give a FUCK where I park. I was in complete awe. Trying to help local businesses during the Covid-19 outbreak and ordered a family pack online with a pickup time of 6pm on 4/17/20. After pulling through the line of about 15 cars we were directed to a parking spot to wait for our order. A young lady came up to the car, took our name and left. She came back 3 separate times and served 3 card next to ours without a word. At 6:40 I finally asked where our food was and she said she is just the server not the cook. She went inside and another lady came out with our meal. After looking through the bag, we were missing items. I called the girl back over to the car, explained what we were missing. She yells at another person in the parking lot to grab our missing items and they hand it to us. No receipt, no napkins, utensils, nothing. We get home and we are missing the family salad. I called and her flippant response was, So you wanna come get it? Sure, I've only waited 45 minutes to pick up an online order that was totally wrong and now I'm supposed to drive back and pick up an item you forgot? This place gave my wife and I the worst service tonight. They completely took her order and cooked it so far beyond a point of being edible or even appetizing. I will give them a shout out on having us wait 45 min to be able to only eat our sweet potatoes to have my steak improperly cooked twice. Being a frequent visitor at Texas Roadhouse in Arvada, Colorado I was greatly disappointed in the service that we received on last Friday night (12/30/11). We did a call ahead (at 5:20 pm) and were advised that there was currently a 40 minute wait. When we showed up at 5:40 to check in we were told the wait was only going to be 10-15 minutes. For the next hour we watched the entire waiting area clear and refill, several times I went up to ask if we had been forgotten or skipped; I was informed that because we were a large group (7) they were just waiting for a table to clear. Finally at 6:35 we were called up for a table, we were unapologeticly led to a booth. Will, our server never asked about the wait time. During the next hour our appetizers came after our salads, the margaritas were far below the standard we have learned to expect and were never once asked about our service (excluding Will). We were then blessed with a large bill, we paid with gift cards that we receive regularly from friends who know we have enjoyed dining at the Texas Roadhouse in the past and the remainder on my Visa. At this cost with this level of service I will reconsider the next time we visit Texas Roadhouse and will definitely indicate to our friends other dining establishments gift cards will be accepted. I truly hope this experience was a one-off event (and believe so as we had generally been going several times a month), but being with business associates this did not leave a positive experience for any of us. read more

Infested with small black beetles. We originally thought they had come inside on our clothing and kept killing them on the table. The waitress saw us doing this and said, "we have had a bit of a problem with this, the tin roof has holes and they have been getting in a lot". They moved us to a new table and the booth was crawling. We got up to leave and said the place was disgusting and the managers reply was, "go ahead and call the health department, I know we are in code, it's just bugs". We never we mentioned the health department but I'm guessing others have based on her comment. I always take the Dallas filet, every single time and it's always good. Rarely they will cook it wrong. They will usually throw in a free extra if I ask anything. Their margaritas are a treat. My Experience going to one after 6:30pm ,you Usually have to wait for seating, (30-45 min) and it loud and Noisy. So bring your ear plugs/ music headphones and eat a good streak. Not only did we still have to wait upon arriving at the suggested time but we also waited over 40 minutes for our food after ordering that never came. We ended up leaving without even eating. We went here on a saturday night there were 7 of us and a high chair, so we thought it would be best to call ahead because we knew it was going to be busy already. After 40 minutes we questioned the manager on what the hold up was for us, we were told that there were few tables they could sit us at and we were the next to be sat. As a couple minutes passed they sat a group of 8, with 2 babies, that much to our surprise was the group that checked in right after us. 10 minutes later the hostess proceeded to yell, "Can you take these people (pointing at us) to the table." Our waiter Dusty was very polite, which is the only reason this place gets one star. Texas Roadhouse is a Chain Restaurant, focusing on steaks and grilled entrees. They have peanuts in buckets, shells on the floor, and a "cold case" at the front door "showcasing" their cuts of beef. Usually a good sign. While you wait for your table, servers constantly whisk past you with steaming hot Yeast Rolls, whose delicious aroma piques your appetite. (Let me just say here that if I owned a restaurant or grocery store, I would filter in the smell of Baking Bread through the Air Conditioning system. I am convinced that people buy more when their tummies are tempted by the yeasty, doughy smells of baking bread.) So anyhow, it's a Roadhouse, Rowdy atmosphere. I was first introduced to Texas Roadhouse by my Almost-In-Laws. We went for a family meal, in the height of the dinner rush. They had taken advantage of the "Call Ahead Seating" and were told a time to come in. We got there, and still had to wait 20 minutes. Okay, it's the Dinner Rush. It happens. Originally, I was somewhat impressed with Texas Roadhouse. Our server was friendly, and he even gave me a tip: While their Cesar Salad wasn't offered on the menu with Grilled Steak, I could order their Sirloin with both of my sides as a Cesar, and the kitchen would prepare it as a Large Cesar with Grilled Steak for me. Cool! And it was good. Everybody else seemed to enjoy their entrees, too, from Ribs with a Brown-Sugar topped Sweet Potato to a Ribeye with a Loaded Baked Potato. So What Happened? We went back. The first time was uneventful, I got my Cesar Salad with Sirloin, though the Sirloin was a bit overcooked and oxidized, but whatever. The next visit. Again took advantage of the "Call Ahead Seating." Again had to wait for a table anyhow. This time, our server was neither friendly nor personable, and had the intelligence of celery. There was a lot of gazing off, and some high-pitched "Ummm"s too. The BF had the ribs again, and they were good. However, I tried to explain to our semi-intelligent life form that I wanted the Sirloin, but with both sides as the Cesar, told her how the other server had done it, asked if he was there, etc. No dice. She wandered off, and I wasn't hopeful. A few minutes later, an appetizer Cesar arrived. (With Croutons. I'd asked for the Croutons to be left off.) Since a different person brought the salad, I had to flag down our Brain Surgeon, and re-explain what I ordered. She took the salad, and wandered off again. Maybe 25 minutes later, our "Entrees" arrive. His: Fine. Mine? A well-done sirloin with a Baked Potato. (As we all now know, I'd ordered it with two Cesars. And incidentally, I'd ordered Medium Rare.) Naturally, we asked for the manager, summed up the situation, and explained what I'd ordered. His answer? "We don't do that." Well, you've done it twice already. And how do you explain the Medium-Rare order but the Well-Done Shoe leather on my plate? And I never discussed a Baked Potato. Why is there one here? He began to argue with me. At this point, I told him just to take it all back. We packed up the remains of the BF's meal and asked for the check. Not only was my returned Sirloin still on the check, but there was also an "Up-Charge" for the Loaded Baked Potato, which I had never even ordered! So yeah, we've never gone back. The food was good, not great to begin with. What brought us back was the original Server's great attitude. The fact that he no longer works there is a testament to their awful attitude about service. He obviously didn't fit in with the Space Cadet and Aggressive Manager. There are far better ways to drop $20 on a steak. I suggest you skip this disaster and find a better option. read more

We had to ask for plates. Waitress said she would get them and continued to take and put in orders. When she would bring drinks and food she would set them down in front of Husband and not who ordered it. It was like she just didn't care. We got our food. HAIR IN MY POTATO!!! Short thick black nasty hair. Told the waitress. She said ok, I will get you another potato. Leaving the food in front of me, not taking it with her. I got another potato on the plate that was originally brought to my table. She never picked up any of the plates until we asked. She didn't ask how everything was when we received it. If this wasn't unappetizing enough,the table next to us, a waiter spilt a whole glass over. He and another waiter,barely wiped it up,off the table & floor & threw down a bucket of peanuts over the wet mess on the floor. Never came back to clean it up correctly. Also one of the waiters had his pants so low we got a great view of his underwear. This place is headed down hill head first. I only gave it two stars because my dinner was removed from our ticket. However, all I can think about is the hair and the mess that was created by the waiters. I'm still completely grossed out. read more
