Haven't been here in years and decided to give it a shot tonight. It was surprisingly busy for a Thursday night, but we were sat almost immediately. Serene was our server and she was great! Greeted us super quick and got our drinks in and out fast as well. When our food came out we were told there was a mix up in the kitchen so we got the wrong things, but they remade the correct items and brought them out as soon as they could! The manager was great as well, she came out and explained the issue to us so we knew what was going on. She also brought our food out herself and made sure she took care of a dessert for the inconvenience. The food was also delicious. A really good steak which is hard to find these days. It's been a while since I've been to this to Texas Roadhouse we went on a Friday night so the wait was like 55 minutes but it was no big deal Food is always good when we go I never complain You fill up on those rolls in that butter and then you can't eat your entree but that's all good had two margaritas that were on point The chicken smothered and gravy was on point also they always got birthday parties and they do a lot of singing and all that good stuff which is cool It keeps the place lively it's loud at sometimes but it's still okay it's no big deal it's a really lively atmosphere it's pretty cool definitely going to go back I love this spot read more

It was me and my man's first time ever at a Texas Roadhouse. We joined the waitlist online so getting a table was easy. It was pretty active and loud in the restaurant. Our server though was the sweetest, she was so nice and fast. My man got the blue moon craft beer and I got the island cooler with an extra shot added. Absolutely delicious and dangerous which I love. Then my man got the 12 oz ribeye and I got the 12 piece shrimp and both were 10/10. The food is so good and we have no complaints at all. Dined in today (pro tip: $14.99 early dinner specials) for early dinner. We come every year on this day to celebrate in memoriam for my oldest step son as this was the last restaurant we took him to his birthday and was his favorite. This evening our waitress was amazing! Constantly refilling our table with those delicious rolls and sweet butter and drinks! The house salad with blue cheese and what I believe is in house made croutons...perfection! Get on the waitlist and shave some time off we waited about 10 minutes after being on the waitlist for 20 on Friday night got on waitlist at 5:45. Ordered a 23oz. Hand cut bone in ribeye. Ordered medium and it was perfect see pics. Loaded baked potato and fresh vegetables. My wife and I split it and still had leftovers. Everything was great. My family regularly eats at Texas Roadhouse, so I am a bit surprised I haven't already reviewed this place. It is a great restaurant for 2 or a large group and anything in between. We often stop by after church and it seems many others have the same idea. Sometimes we have a wait and others we don't. There is a lot of seating and they get to you as quickly as possible. We have had some seating issues in the past but they are always striving to improve and I noticed some signage during our last visit that shows they are doing all they can to keep people take care of and paying attention to seating details. The food is beyond generous portions and the cost is extremely reasonable. You can easily split meals and have plenty. They are also generous with their dinner rolls, which are amazing, especially with the honey butter. I ordered the beef tips on mashed potatoes with a side of veggies. It tasted amazing. Everyone else also enjoyed their meals and we had plenty to take home for dinner. The staff were extremely pleasant and cheerful. I love the country music playing in the background. It is the perfect volume to be able to enjoy but not too loud so you can hear the conversation at your table. read more

One of our most favorite places to go when we are in Bakersfield. I don't think I've ever seen it not busy. But they seat you rather quickly and have never failed to make it seem like we're the only table they have to serve. They don't hover, but your drink will never be empty. The food is as amazing as the service! Even at the busiest times, the place gets loud but not too loud so you can have a conversation with the people your table. I've told the managers, often that they have the best staff I've ever seen in a restaurant. Everyone is nice and happy to be at work. Once we saw a customer who was being very rude to the staff. Not sure if he was just having a bad day or he was a jerk all of the time, but the staff continued to treat him like everyone else. Not sure I would have put up with that jerk. read more

We just had the best time at Texas Roadhouse. Our server was Rick and he is the Man!!! He took such good care of our huge party and what a personality. He was friendly, funny and fast with the orders. Our drinks were never empty either. He is amazing and deserves a raise or something. Anyways, we came for a birthday, there was 9 of us. We ordered the cactus bloom, streak and shrimp, burger sliders, steak and chicken, chicken fried steak and gravy, ribs and Sirloin. Everything was delicious, the cooks are amazing. We visited for the first time last month and it was impressive. I'm not big at eating at steakhouses. I rather make it at home because you can buy a couple of steaks for $35-$60 and that will feed all of us that included me, my husband and my grown adult sons, whereas here we would spend $35-$60 per person. What I liked is that we were able to pick out our own steaks when we walked in and then go from there. After we were seated I noticed the place was almost full. This place seems like a popular place to go to. We were then given bread and that bread definitely reminds me of my childhood. Filipinos would agree that the bread tastes just like pandesal which is something I ate a lot growing up. On a side note, you can get that bread at Fil Bake Shop in Delano for super cheap ;-). The place is hard to tell how clean it is since the lights are dim, but I know food is fresh since there's tons of people coming in and out of this place. Staff is okay. We were greeted, but they are not too personable. That could be a good thing if you're like me and don't want to interact and just want to enjoy your food. I would love to come back. I recently saw how they do birthdays and I wish I took my husband here for his birthday to embarrass him. I'm all about putting him on the spot because he's a very quiet person. My first few experiences at this location were pretty disappointing mainly due to slow service & the food being brought out cold. When I tried Texas Roadhouse for the first time it was at the one in Yuma, Arizona & I loved it. Don't come here often but, the craving was there this time, so decided to stop in & try something different on the menu. Our date night dinner turned out excellent! When we got there, it was very crowded. They told us we had a 15 to 25 minute wait but that didn't happen. We were seated less than 10 minutes. For starters got the cactus bloom onion: for entree had the all American burger and the Mrs and I split the ribeye and rib combo with baked potato, corn and grilled pinions and mushrooms. This was our very first time eating at Texas Roadhouse. We were in town on 1/10/26 for our daughter's Cheer competition and it was recommended by one of her coaches. It was very good! Hubby and I ordered the 6oz steak and rib combo and the 6oz Shrimp combo. The waiter I think her name was Kensley (sorry) Informed us they ran out of 6oz's, Tha manager, a sweet lady, gave us the 8oz for the price of the ones we ordered. Very clean place, friendly staff. The only things that we were bothered by were the chaos of being on deck, and I ordered a drink and it took almost 30-45 min to get. Supposedly the bar was backed up but i saw the bartenders yapping away. It was still a great experience considering that. This place is so cool! I like the decor and the display of all the delicious meats is my favorite! I was so excited to be here arrived with my appetite to I gobbled lots on the soft, tasty bread that taste like churro, a big margarita and the free platter of onion blossom. Went to the bar area and luckily found 3 seats at the bar for my party and we sat rat away rather then waiting 45+ for a table. Our bartender was on it and very helpful so that was a plus. I went with a porterhouse steak. The price for this cut is very cheap considering how much meat your getting. Very good price when comparing it to other steakhouses. This dish can easily serve two adults, portion is insane. Everyone in my party loved their meal and we all agreed we would come back. Overall, would have to rate my visit a 8 out of 10. I had a gift card I meant to use here for the last two years and we finally made it happen! This is the closest location for my family and is an hour drive so we were hoping it lived up to the expectations! We were sat very quickly by our server Juan, and immediately served their warm rolls with cinnamon butter and they were absolutely delicious! I really enjoyed the cinnamon butter because it just added something so perfect and especially at this time of year! We of course ordered a cactus blossom and it was absolutely perfect! I preferred this one to Outback's! The steak ended up being the best I've had all year! And it was nice that everything came quickly and hot! Juan was very kind and on top of everything! My husband wanted to have Prime Rib today so we went to the Texas Roadhouse. We are always greeted so warmly and didn't have to wait. We got a great young man for our server. I ordered a Rib Eye steak dinner with a side salad and veggies. My husband ordered a Prime rib dinner with a salad and green beans. My steak was perfect and my husband says it's the best Prime Rib he has eaten in Bakersfield. Our meat was so good we asked to speak to the manager. Seriously our meat was amazing. Food was great! Service was great! No complaints until we were headed out and I couldn't believe the size of the ROACH we saw in the lobby right by the host stand. It was HUGE in the middle of the day for lunch (so that tells you they are absolutely infested if you see them in the day). It was crawling around and another little girl was screaming because it almost ran across her feet! So gross. Me and my family were absolutely disgusted by this as we had just finished a large lunch and spent a good amount of $$. I did not want to make a scene inside the establishment so I decided to walk outside and then call a manager via phone. I spoke with a Jeanette (I believe, not 100% sure but she was the manager today on lunch shift) and she questioned the validity of the cockroach in the restaurant and questioned if the workers saw it. Yes of course they did as there was a child screaming and running away from it right in front of the host stand. I'm sure someone took a video or photo. She then said that they do not have an issue because they are serviced every Monday (yeah right, this thing was huge and had been fed well obviously) and was not apologetic and did not offer us a partial discount or refund and denied my request. So I guess it's okay for guests to leave absolutely disgusted and pay full price. Wish they could make this right as I understand some things can happen like roach infestations, but we should have been discounted or a partial refund for eating food that may have been contaminated that a cockroach may have been on. GROSS.
