We were then seated and our order taken by a friendly and attentive waiter. We got the following: - 6oz Flo's Filet w/ 4oz lobster tail: Amazing! The steak was cooked to perfection while the lobster was juicy and tasty. - 9oz parmesan crusted chicken w/ half-rack baby back ribs: amazing flavor profile on both! - Fire-grilled Corn on the Cob: this was a great side and complented well with what we've orders - Mashed Potato: don't remember much except it wasn't good - Mac 'N Cheese: delish! Very disappointed. Any time I travel and there is a Longhorn Steak House near by, THAT is where I am having at least 1 of my dinners. I read the reviews 3.9 stars and thought no way this can't be true. Well they were right, sadly. I always order the Rig Eye medium rare, broccoli, Cesar salad and mushrooms, I love mushrooms with my steak. Steak - cooked perfectly but when you cut your steak and you can feal the knife cutting through the steak then you know it's tough, and it was tough! Broccoli - loved it! Mushrooms - I love mushrooms with my steak, always, but these - no taste - luke warm and that is being generous and they looked like your toes when your socks have been wet for 2 hours and you pull them off, wet and all wrinkled. Cesar salad - never had one that tasted so much like salt. I would of given this place 0 stars, but you can't on Yelp, the staff get's 5 stars, from the greeting you get to the server behind the bar, sooo personal and friendly, the food not what I expected at all. Had a gift card to the restaurant we thought we tried out. It had been open for a while, but never actually been there. Been to the one in a different city and enjoyed it. It's just to know that it was really expensive. Heard mixed reviews about it here once in Bakersfield, but since we have a gift card, we thought we'd give it a try. I'm glad we did because it was quite delicious. We had the shrimp and lobster chowder, which is delicious along with the baked potato soup. That was also really nice and the kids had a chicken tenders which I would say rivals Cane's chicken tenders very juicy very delicious thick as well as it was much cheaper. Charles's menu was much better than what I was anticipating it to be as a king with a side energy drink we also had fillet which was nice and tender, even though I ordered it medium, it came out more medium well but it was still very juicy and seasoned. It is interesting that my plate was only the steak because I had the soup with it so the steak kinda looked lonely on its own, but overall it was really nice. Our server was so attempted eating to the kids and what not it was really nice ambience along with the restaurant kind of had a flare out of it. Ordered curbside lunch. It was ready and came out fast for a lunch rush hr. Server was friendly and very polite. All items I asked for where in bag. Didn't go to crazy just something small for recovering from a heavy workout. The cheese on the burger was not good. Longhorn is our Go-To weekday date night. The service is always immaculate, it is fast, attentive & very friendly. The food is delicious as well. Steak is always juicy, corn is relatively always juicy as well make sure to order it with Parmesan crust (was once dry). The BRUSSELS SPROUTS are the highlight of the sides, they're salty, tangy, sweet and overall always good textured. There is never a hold on food and the drinks are always good as well. I noticed that this place did not have great reviews, but I wanted to try it since I had never gone to this restaurant at all, anywhere. I popped in the other day with my parents, and despite them being busy, we were able to get a table very quickly. My mother is in a wheelchair and they were able to accommodate that easily. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the place was very clean, it's still new... And it looked like the tables were being cleaned and bussed quickly after the party left. The ambience is your typical steakhouse type and vibe, such as Texas roadhouse or original roadhouse Grill. The music is balling and in this case, it is mainly country music. There is plenty of handicap parking in the front very close to the door. And a good size waiting area in case there is a rush, although I've seen people waiting outside when I've driven by. We ordered the ribeye, medium, and a baked potato minus the bacon and cheddar, and a cheeseburger that was accompanied by french fries. The steak also came with the green chopped salad. The server brought out a loaf of wheat bread and butter. And it was awful. The bread seemed to have been microwaved, so it was very hard and chewy, and it did not have a fresh flavor. You can almost tell that they don't make the bread there. We asked for a second loaf, hoping that we would get better results, it was a tiny bit better but still when it was cooled it got hard and chewy. The cheeseburger was a good portion and included lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. We ordered it with American cheese and it came on what looked like a brioche bun. I say this because I didn't actually taste it. My dad said the burger was dry. The ribeye was a little bit rough and chewy. Even though we ordered it medium, it was more like medium well. The only good thing on the ribeye plate was the baked potato. The chopped green salad that we ordered with ranch on the side was not the best. It's a very basic salad, and it had oxidized pieces of lettuce and one piece of wilted, purple or green leaf lettuce, and I also found a strawberry that was hidden among the tomatoes. I don't think that was intentional however it tells me that the food prep staff is not as careful as they need to be to make sure they do not cross contaminate food. Overall, I likely won't go back to this restaurant. In my opinion, there are other options which I named in this review. But if you go, I hope you have a better experience than I did. Enjoy! Ps. My husband has been wanting to visit for a while now and we finally made our way out. The place is really nice inside and pretty clean. We didn't have a long wait time and our service was excellent. When we visited there were several parties celebrating their birthdays and there was a large group celebrating a wedding, so this place can definitely accommodate large groups. When we visited it was just 3 of us. I don't remember if my husband or my son enjoyed their meal, but the steak was nice, my biggest complaint was the saltiness of the food. The asparagus served with my meal was so salty that it was inedible. My steak was overly salty too, but it was easier to digest since it wasn't salty on the inside of the steak. I don't see myself coming back unless my family wanted to come back. They have other options other than steak, so if you don't eat red meat or don't like steak, they have something for you too. Tonight we were craving steak for dinner and decided to give Longhorn a try. It's Sunday around 5:45pm when we got there and they were busy. Thinking the wait would be up to 30 minutes due to large crowds waiting to be seated before us. But to our surprise our party of three was seated right away. We had a great waitress named Winter. One of the greatest waitresses we have ever had. She had a great personality and wit to match. She was funny and had a way to make you feel extremely welcome on a busy night. We only had one issue with a steak and she made sure it was corrected immediately. The manager even came to check on us which was nice. Winter really made our night tonight. This is such a wonderful place. Ambiance is great, food is delicious, prices are outstanding and the service is top-notch. Our server Alyssa was so nice, helpful and on top of everything-she made the experience the best. I got the 8 ounce top sirloin, and it was so tender and juicy and not an ounce of fat or grits along with a baked potato and a chopped garden salad that were both amazing. My husband got the ribeye also a baked potato salad and he said his was just as good. We split the shrimp appetizer with peppers and it was yummy also but my favorite thing was their dragon fruit Margarita. I ordered ribs to go this evening and was very upset to discover that I had been given burned, exceptionally dry, sauce free ribs. Check the photo...not even a hint of sauce in the bottom of the container. Seems like they wanted to get rid of the lunch leftovers that had been under a heat lamp all day. I've been here a few times and the food is always pretty good. I usually get the parmesan crusted spinach dip which is awesome. Comes with flatbread chips which goes perfectly with the dip. This time around I tried the Wild West shrimp, which was really good. The service is a hit and miss. They are usually busy so it can take some time to get your food at time but they are always pretty friendly. Love the western vibes inside and love the bar area. My usual main meal is the renegade sirloin with red rock grilled shrimp or the lemon garlic chicken. All their sides are pretty good , the mac and cheese and brussels sprouts are some of my favorites. Our party of 4 had lunch on 01/02/26. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful when trying to decide on what to order. Unfortunately the restaurant was out of several side items and the Stampede dessert. I did not factor this into my review as this is out of the server's control the outstanding rating is based on our service, quality of food and prices. Two of us had the lunch special Grilled Chicken and Strawberry Salad and a bowl of Loaded Potato Soup for $11 Grilled Chicken Strawberry Salad: half the size of the regular salad. Salad was a bed of leafy greens, strawberries, grapes, mandarin oranges, candied pecans, feta with a raspberry vinaigrette. The salad was fresh and the grilled chicken was grilled to perfection (moist & flavorful). I would definitely order this salad again. Loaded Baked Potato Soup: this was served piping hot and had just the right amount of cheese and crumbled bacon. Nice chunks of potatoes. I highly recommend this soup. The other two ordered the Half-pound Steakhouse Cheeseburger with a side for $11. One ordered it with French fries and other with Shrimp and Lobster Chowder. The burger was humongous!! Your classic cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, choice of cheese and their signature burger sauce. Everyone said it was delicious. The fries were nice and hot and well seasoned. The Shrimp and Lobster Chowder was ok. Not really my thing. It was hot and flavorful but I'm not into seafood soups/chowders (unless it's clam chowder). I would not order this chowder. We had the Molten Lava Cake $10.29 Rich, dark chocolate cake with a warm, molten fudge center. Served with vanilla bean ice cream and finished with chocolate and caramel sauce. We had ordered the Chocolate Stampede and our server came back and informed us that they were out of the Chocolate Stampede. So we settled on the Molten Lava Cake. The cake was delicious and very rich. Restaurant was clean and plenty of parking. I was extremely cold inside the restaurant, despite wearing a layered sweater, jeans and Ugg boots. I started with a Perfect Margarita, and this drink truly lives up to its name because it's as close as you can get to a perfect margarita. With the included shaker you'll get at least one full refill) I also really like the option of a salt rim or sugar rim, just my personal preference For dinner I went with a New York Strip paired with asparagus and rice pilaf, and my wife got the filet. I really enjoyed my meal. My steak was super good, a nice thick cut, super juicy and tender. The asparagus was fresh and cooked perfectly, and the rice pilaf was also a good choice. The decor is properly country--from the massive bull head on the wall over the bar to the leather menu--it just felt like a good ol' steakhouse. Visited on a Sunday Afternoon, we went to celebrate my father in laws birthday as a group of 8. Unfortunate they separated our group in two different booths across from each other. I didn't see any tables that could accommodate a group larger than 4. Bummer. The food was ok. Steaks were cooked as ordered. The Mac n Cheese was great, but unfortunately it was just Luke warm. Ok so all of the people dinging this place because of wait times, well you are in Bakersfield with a new restaurant. Happens every time!!! Secondly they have a Join Wait List on their website, use it because it works. When we joined the list it was 30-45 minutes and it took use 20 to get there and a 10 minute wait. The place was packed with a lot of people in front of us still sitting there. As for service, the host were great and warned all of people coming in of a potential long wait but could go fast. I ordered the 1/2 rack of Babyback ribs. They were fall of the bone good. This came with a side and a salad. I went with the mac n cheese and a caesar salad. The salad was super fresh with just the right amount of dressing. The mac n cheese was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly. It had a blend of cheese with a crispy crunchy parmesan crust. Being the place more of an East Coast Chain, yes they have sweet tea!!!! All in all we had a great experience!!!! Warm delicious complementary bread welcomed us - and we each got a Jack n Coke special each for only $5.49 for a very a nice start. Loved the comfy big booth and classy ambiance. Pro- tip- DEFINITELY do yourself a favor and get on their wait list which you can access on their website. We waltzed right in 40 minutes after joining the wait list. They are BUSY!! We are wing lovers and really enjoyed these, and will order again. I would ask next time if they could be a tad more crispy, if possible. We split the Outlaw bone in ribeye which was a great call. A lot of food for a third of the price at my beloved Ruth Chris in LA. My boyfriend felt the steak was perfectly seasoned while I found it a tad salty. Still super delicious. The service was great and polite; no issues there. This was my 4th time coming and never had an issue with my medium rare ribeye. Today, I decided to venture and get a rare ribeye steak. After the delay from the kitchen and finally got my plate, the server confirmed it was a rare order but the steak I got was medium well, at least. It was way too overcooked. I was with a part of 4, all ordered ribeyes, and all were served way too overcooked. I don't know if I'd come back for a 5th trip. read more

Came here for my dad's birthday. Got seated right away on a Thursday night. The ambiance was a dim and moody vibe. Well decorated interior. Loved that the waitress gave recommendations. Gotta say they have the best Parmesan Crusted Spinach Dip I've had. Also like the pita bread it comes with. The steak was also delicious. Topped it with a Parmesan crust. Also had the corn on the cob which was also amazing and flavorful. Would come back another time. read more
