Experience was ruined by one of the managers ( the bigger lady) berating a server in front of the other tables by saying something to the effect of "Put the F****** straws and coasters on the table when you greet them or I'm going to take your tips off the table." This restaurant features your typical poor quality meat, cooked by untrained "chefs" I do not understand how this place is always busy. The service is OK depending on the night, but never great. Great service every time. Wine list sucks--4 options. Food is delish. They do great work for local non-profits. Tonight was 15% of sales donated to Hands of Harmony. The servers always are friendly and have a good attitude and I enjoy watching the birthday celebrations they do for their guests. Best Service you could ask for! We hit this place on the way back from Guernsey for the eclipse and after been on the road for 8 hours in traffic our server Matthew was terrific for our family. Went for lunch and had Molly as our server, she didn't know she was our server so we had a bit of a wait. Once she know she was our server, she did a great job took drink order immediately and brought bread to the table, she took our lunch order and we received our appetizer very promptly. Priced like Outback, but better; much better. Soft warm/hot rolls and the cinnamon butter could be addicting. Salads were good but not exceptional, good blue cheese dressing. Steaks are perfectly cooked to order with good quality meat. Burgers also cooked to order and staff said they were safe to eat that way. Good baked potato, but fries were few and not crisp. Have not tried deserts. Ambiance is rustic western, loud, great place to have a birthday, and have pails of unshelled peanuts on the table which you open and toss shells on floor. (Kids love that). Lady bartenders when we went in were fantastic! Friendly, efficient, super accommodating! We had the beef kabobs with rice and the roast half-chicken which were excellent. While our food overall was very good, and our waitress was top notch, the process of getting seated was terrible. We called at 5pm to get on their call ahead wait list. They told us it was about a 1.5 wait so our party of 11 shows up at 6:30pm and they proceed to tell us it's going to be another hour. So we wait an hour and still no seat. Went to check and they said they were waiting for people to leave, in the mean time about 80% of the other parties some of which came in after us were seated. So about 15 minutes later they finally seated us in two tables. Really mad about this because we all wanted to sit together and if they were going to split us they could have done it much faster. Seriously frustrating! If you take advantage of a system that allows you to call ahead and get on a list then what's the point if you still don't get seated for almost an hour and a half after you show up at the location. So from the time we called in to the time we were seated it was 3 hours! Never going back! read more

My husband and I enjoy going to Texas Roadhouse. The food is always good and the service is great! Last night we went between 5:30 and 6:00 pm but were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. I noticed that as people left, a busboy was at the table within a couple minutes, the table was cleaned off and set for the next group of people to be seated.The food was served within a few minutes, drinks were refilled and plates removed quickly. Other than the noise level which is very high, this is one of the best places to eat in Cheyenne. read more

I have eaten here several times since they opened in Cheyenne. Have always had a good meal. Usually order the same small sirloin steak with a couple of side dishes. The service is usually average and sometimes very good. The atmosphere is sometimes a little too loud but can be related to how busy they are. I've been to at least 3 or 4 different TRs in Colorado, and this one is by far the best. Clearly, management knows what it's doing. Now the downside...and this is true for all TRs. We went in last week and the food was very tasty. It was our first time there, so they gave us free sides and ribs. The service was pretty good. They seemed to really take a lot of pride in where there food comes from and how it's served. The only thing I thought was a little weird is the manager gave us a survey with the ribs, so I kind of felt like she was buying my vote. The survey would have made more sense to be delivered with the check. But that was a minor note, the food was very good - the ribs were amazing. On the whole, a very neat place to dine. Food is generally very tasty... however. My wife and I have had a few hiccups with the service and with the food. We had one experience where our very very expensive steaks, tasted like cheap ham. Very odd indeed. Went in picked up food to go and apparently they cut down on their garbage by sending it home with people. Drove 50 miles to get this food and I asked for lightly done rolls and received burnt rolls that had been around for about a week! Do not get food to go from this place. Well let me start out by saying To my waitress Blake. You are a master of your craft. You didn't let our glasses get empty and you kept the rolls coming out until the food was ready thank you very much. Sorry to say that was the highlight of my visit. Took my wife and 2 kids there to celebrate my youngest ones birthday at 5pm. They had the music playing at a normal level for a restaurant, and we were seated rite away (granted they had only been open a hour). We put our order in and had some tokens for free kids meals. Then had our waitress come back to tell us her manager would not except one of the tokens for one of the kids meal. Come to find out they actually classify their kids meals by age. They got normal kids meals then some meals they call ranger kids meals. The tokens our not good for those meals I guess. Maybe they should write that on the tokens so people know how to order according to their stupid in house rules. Any way when the food finally came out to the table, Everything was hot and fresh. I WOULD LOVE TO TELL YOU WE ENJOYED OUR MEAL BUT...... At that point I thought I was at the Cadillac Ranch bar/nite club. The music was blasting so dam loud that you could not talk to the person sitting right next to you. When your waiter/waitress comes to your table you both have to scream at each other in order to hear what you guys are saying to each other. Come to find out that's because for some reason the management has the employees that are on the floor country line dancing. That's just what I needed the aisles are small and cramped as it is now I have people dancing around my table bumping my plate hitting my arms spilling my food I did not pay for that. Therefore we only made it ten minutes into our meal before we asked for boxes just to pack up our dinner and leave. It had been three years since I have been back to eat at Texas roadhouse because the last time I ate there our food was burnt our order was incomplete and service was bad. I thought OK let's try to give them a chance. now I know better my family and I will not be returning. So if you are looking for a really loud music playing and employee dancing in your way with a unenjoyable atmosphere that you can compare to a bar/nightclub during frontier days. Then the Texas roadhouse in Cheyenne Wyoming is your place. I felt bad for some of the elderly people in the community who stopped there to eat tonite. you can see it on their face that they did not enjoy the music blasting at them just so that the workers can dance around on the floor that is not even a dance floor. Way to go Roadhouse you dropped the ball. All I can say is figure out if you want to be a restaurant or a nightclub.
