Been coming here for years and even during covid and was surprised when they made us wait outside in the heat. We were outside with about 20 other people all trying to fit under the shade of a single tree while waiting to be seated, was pretty upset they did that to us. read more

Can't say enough about this location and it's employees. I love Texas Roadhouses for the quality of their meats, but last night, at this location was just awesome. I travel for a living, and am only home on the weekends, and last nights visit made me feel as close to being home as possible. The Manager on actually greeted me personally at the door, and remembered a simple fact from my visit the night before . . . making me feel like a regular. My server Rebecca, in between serving her tables, took the time to actually engage in real conversation . . . not the trying to be nice kind. It all made for a wonderful experience. Well after spending time away from Texas and going to other Texas road houses outside of Texas,I'm truly convinced that Texas road is at its best in the lonestar state. I'm happy about this because I know that ALL TEXAS ROAD HOUSES are not created equal and the best are in Texas! Sat at the bar to enjoy a good steak dinner and cold beer. I was greeted by Chris and the female bartender (apologies, forgot her name), ordered an ice-cold Shiner Bock and requested a menu. The staff was nothing short of amazing and hospitable. Ordered a 12oz Ft. Worth Ribeye med-rare w/ loaded mashed potatoes and corn. Food came out quick, perfectly cooked, and tasted amazing. Bar maid's name: AMANDA. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Wait for it! Had to wave her down more than once. Food was fast and delicious. We had to catch a manager (Chris) to get us another beer. My gosh we're right in front of her! Shh HR e had major attitude. We got the check. $69. No problem. As my husband was paying, he noticed ticket amount was $126! He called her back. Didn't even apologize. I guess she was pist cuz we asked the manager to get us a beer. Customers be aware of this barmaid who was definitely having a bad day! Oh and Chris the manager was called for him to listen to my husband's complaint. He shook my husbands' hand and wouldn't let go. It was so awkward. This Texas Roadhouse does not compare to the Fort Bliss location, the service was very bad it took my wife about 5 minutes to catch a servers attention just so we could get greeted and our drink order AND several servers passed by. We ordered fried pickles and they were very oily and over cooked, we were literally eating just the breaded part. Definitely don't recommend this location. read more

Me and the boy toy were craving a large chunk of meat to gnaw on while we were driving down the one freeway in El Paso that seems to intersect everything in the city. Lo and behold I see the glorious sign for Texas Roadhouse. It seems like a good bet for a nice big steak. There's a bit of a wait so I sit at the bar and gulp down this huge cherry limeade drink. OMG delicious and huge. It's gone in no time and I order some potato skins while I'm there since I'm STARVING. I'm also trying really hard not to touch any of the peanuts or peanut shells scattered about, but it's really hard to avoid. Thus I discover that it's okay to be around nuts. While I'm at the bar, I ask the bartender where the best strip club is in El Paso. She was quick to throw out some names and which ones to avoid. Gotta love a knowledgeable bartender. We're seated and I'm trying to justify another huge drink. I'm on vacation, what the hell, let's do it! The bread here is delicious and I'm not a bread person. The butter is a little cinnamony, which I like. I nom down a bunch and the potato skins come. They suck but I'm hungry so I wolf it down. We ordered their huge porterhouse to split and when it comes we gobble that down as well. The service is kind of sketchy at the table and we're harassing our server when he finally arrives for refills. Apparently he doesn't know the capital of Texas and had to go ask a few people and no one could tell him. The Texas board of education should be concerned. So let me say the actual food here is 3.5 stars, however the novelty of being in Texas in a very Texan restaurant, scaring the staff and making them hate us, and the recommendation for a good strip club has made me tip my rating towards 4 stars. We got there Thursday night and we knew there was going to be some waiting before we were seated. We gave the hostes our phone number and number of people, and when our time was almost close, we went and asked how many people were ahead of us, well, not only she had put the wrong number, also put the wrong number of people, and when she corrected her error, she sent us back to the end of the line, instead of giving us priority since it was her mess up. There's something magical when you walk into a restaurant and all you hear is some country music on the loud speaker and the sound of peanut shells crunching under your weight on the floor. Yes, the sound of cracking comes off, if it has been a busy day here, as you walk through the place to get to your table as it's encouraged to just chuck the peanut shells on the floor. You know what, as dirty as it sounds, it fits the atmosphere just fine in this heavy steak centric dining spot. It may be similar to the chain styles of TGIF or applebees, but there's no way that Texas Roadhouse is close to any of those in terms of food. You get a Texas portioned meal every time and you walk away full as ever. That's a gosh darn promise! They also cook their meat to perfection. I like my cow still mooing and they do offer that and bring it out to you exactly how you like it. Now this must have been the last Texas Roadhouse that I went to on my trip back to Los Angeles, which had me driving through the very big state of Texas. So it was nice to have one more for the road as it would be a matter of time before coming back to one. But man, would I ever want to just hit up this spot again. Maybe on the next trip through the wasteland of the American desert. Very stereotypical country bar with Texas sized portions and friendly service by good ol' farmer's daughter dressed waitresses. Have you ever thought about only eating the complimentary bread they serve you as you wait for your food. Well, as you eat the bread here you'll want to wait a lifetime for your food to come. They also give you a complimentary bin of peanuts. They sport a nice bar with televisions playing the games. The food is great also. I've tried the ribs, the burgers, the chicken critters (chicken strips) and many other plates. They have all been great. I haven't had a bad experience yet. Oh, and the strawberry lemonade is one of the best in El Paso. If your looking for a nice place to eat some good food with a western feel this might be a good place to go to. read more

First, my tea was delivered to my table with something floating in it, then my salad arrived with something in the bottom of the cup with my dressing. My friends and I went here based on some locals recommendations. PROS: Amazing steak Amazing bread (they are so soft and lightly coated with honey, watch out, they are easy to fill up on and you don't just get one basket, they keep coming) Amazing margaritas (If I wasn't eating while drinking one, it would've gotten me pretty good) Great service Cooks actual medium steak Large portions CONS: Ribs are super dry and unflavorful Our server Rachel was great. Let me first say that while road tripping through Texas, we've had a horrible time. By far, Texas is the worst thing/experience we have ever had... All of that being said, I am fairly certain that the entire state of Texas, as well as all of the horrible experiences we've had, have been redeemed solely through the food at this restaurant. The hostess was super friendly, our server was fast and very sweet, and the bread was so delicious I may have drooled. I got the Pulled Pork & Grilled Shrimp, my friend got a half rack of ribs, and we both got margaritas. Our margaritas came out and were amazing, like a deity had made them in the back, and they were HUGE and full of top shelf liquor. We also got Sweet Tea, which was so great that again, I may have drooled. Our meals came out and we both couldn't have been happier. My pulled pork had a delicious flavor, was super soft and tender, and melted in my mouth. The grilled shrimp were a bit smaller than I had expected, but the flavor was amazing.The ribs fell right off the bone and were delicious. At the end of the meal, we got our check and were SO surprised. Our margaritas were less than $8. Seriously, she is from Florida and I am California, a drink like that is easily $18 to $20 in our neck of the woods. Our entire meal was less than $50 and we were stoked. I couldn't be happier with the atmosphere, service, or food. This place is a winner and has a high rating for a reason! If you're a regular, you have to know that this place is great. My first time in El Paso, this restaurant was recommended by the hotel receptionist. AMAZING. MUST TRY. It was the best ribs I've ever had in my life. Every time we visit El Paso we come here for dinner. It's so good. What I Love: The freshly baked yeast rolls. You can see them as you enter the restaurant and walk by the hostess station. They smell so good and they taste even better. I can eat 5 of these in one sitting along with the cinnamon butter that they serve with it. I always get the ribeye/medium rare, plain baked potato, and vegetables. He always gets the New York strip rare with the same sides. There was one thing I loved enough in El Paso to sway me from my psychopathic visions of suicide... and that was Texas Roadhouse's Prime Rib! You Texans have a sweet deal going on... great quality hunks of red meat at half of the cost of us uppity Californians...the juicy, red, medium-rare piece of a real man's steak with two sides ranging from rice to veggies to macaroni and more! Super delicious!! My husband and I were starving and of course ended up ordering waaayy too much but everything we tried, we loved! To start, the hot fresh baked break and cinnamon butter is to die for. I had a filet, cooked perfect and shrimp and hubby had a bone in ribeye, also cooked amazingly perfect. As a side, I had rice (so good!!) and a side salad. I wish the salad had come before dinner and not after but I think they forgot about it. Hubby had a loaded baker and fresh veggies. This is actually one of my favorite chain-restaurants. One of the best tasting steaks I have ever had actually came from this restaurant. However, it seems this place can be hit-or-miss. Overall, I have had great experiences at this location. My last visit was oustanding. My steak was PERFECT. Not the best, but my best ever is hard to top. The sides tasted great, and the service was excellent (I am a tough sell on customer service, because I spent so much time working in customer service myself!). The bartender knows what he is doing, because my mixed drinks were perfect as well. My wife and I had a wonderful evening, and these guys here definitely added to that! TRH is great for a casual date night, or just a good place to feed the family. Birthdays are cool too, especially for kids. The staff brings out a desert and a saddle. The birthday boy/girl then sits on the saddle and the staff songs their birthday song real loud (enough for the whole restaurant to hear. It is pretty cool.
