This place is as good as it gets. I've been about 5 times now and the consistency of quality ingredients continue to please. From the fresh clean tapped beers to the bread that comes with every visit is indescribable. I usually go with the 12 ounce Rib-eye smothered with carmalized onions and a cup of chili. The chili is the best I've ever had, and the steak is always cooked to perfection. The mashed potatoes are a pretty nice side as well. The manager and staff are always spot on. My new favorite here is the Fillet Medallions, so good. They are tender & flavorful. It comes on a bed of rice, & you get 2 sides. I've tried several of the sides: house salad (has egg), corn, mashed potatoes (with or without gravy), & the chilli cup all good. As soon as we sat down there was a bucket of fresh peanuts waiting. Stephanie, our server, was quick to take our drink order then food order. All the servers were good looking female and males and personable. My side house salad came with greens, tomato, cheese, eggs, and homemade croutons. Food was really good. The managers here are not friendly at all. The one named Art (is what it looked like the writing is so tiny) is extremely rude and unfriendly. He kept trying to mansplain his excuses for why the empty tables aren't usable when the wait was almost twice as long as we were originally told. We decided to stop by on Saturday around lunch time and it surprisingly wasn't too busy. We were told the wait was going to be around 30 minutes and so we decided to wait. The wait ended up being shorter then the 30 minutes and we were taken to our table. Our waitress was friendly and she quickly came on over to take our drink orders. We of course had the rolls with the cinnamon butter because hey these are a MUST when you dine here!! I like my rolls warm and they taste so much better then when they get cold! Our orders consisted of: Two 6oz steaks with a cup of chili, two bowls of mashed potatoes and seasoned rice. Despite being a popular chain restaurant, do not be deceived in believing that all counterparts are created equal. In a previous review of another restaurant carrying the same name (located on Fort Bliss), I mentioned how the worst thing bringing them down was the service. I had the total opposite experience here. Naturally, I sat at the bar and received stellar service. I was treating myself to a well earned rib eye steak lunch after completing a rather daunting homework assignment. Though I have to admit it's been ages since I dared to try a rib eye here. Ever since I tried the rib eye at the Texas Roadhouse in Oklahoma, I've been rather leery of ever trying that cut again. I dunno...it could possibly have something to do with the fact that place left me sh*tting blood clots. But I digress. First I would like to say I love coming here just for the peanuts alone. Grabbing a handful of those perfectly salted, unpeeled whole peanuts and then you are able to throw the shells to the floor is freaking awesome. The downside to that is the servers don't clean under the tables until the end of the night. We sat down at our table but there was napkins, shells and a fork on the floor. Apparently something sticky spilled because it was just a hot mess. Ultimately we ended up moving to the bar. The bar tender Letty was a sweetheart and the food was really good. Suggestion, maybe clean up the floor under the tables or possibly ask the customer if they would like that option. Sadly wasn't a great experience, the service was good but was a bit dissatisfied with the food. Ordered bone in ribeye rare and it wasn't close to what I wanted. It was chewy and over salted, my daughter had ribeye no bone medium rare and hers was over cooked and she didn't like it either. Was celebrating a birthday so didn't want to complain and be the one that complained so just didn't eat it. Bread was on point tho as always. read more

Although Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is our favorite, the food here is very good. The ribeye was excellent, tender, juicy and cooked perfectly medium rare. The filet was very flavorful with the mushrooms and sautéed onions on top. The bread served prior to the meal was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. We looked forward to coming to Texas Roadhouse on Easter Sunday since we haven't been there in years. We called ahead so we were seated promptly. Here are my complaints: I told the waitress our bread plates were dirty, I placed them in front of her and that's where they sat for the entire dinner. I ordered a medium rare N Y steak that was still raw when I cut into it, they returned with another steak that had so much fat that I cut off about one fourth of it because it was fat. A New York steak is suppose to be lean but my steak was not. The waitress came by 15 minutes later but I had eaten the greasy steak by then. She never refilled my water glass and we didn't see her again for another 15-20 minutes. My husband's steak was delicious and it was cooked properly and my mother enjoyed her salmon. The atmosphere is nice and festive however the music was so loud we had to yell our order to the waitress. We are in a restaurant not a night club so we are there to have a relaxing meal and converse with our family members not yell over the music. I had an early dinner and by the time I left at 6 PM, this place was packed. I have never had a bad service experience at a Texas Roadhouse and shouldn't since they are always stacked with servers everywhere. Some are even just standing around doing nothing but waiting. I've always known Texas Roadhouse for their bread and their ribs. Tried the ribs years ago and wasn't a fan. Their bread, however....is heaven. What's good?... -Their Bread of course. I'm not sure if it's the roll itself, the butter, or the cinnamon that gives this their flavor. These are served in a huge basket and have yet to say "No". Regardless, you can't stop at a Texas Roadhouse and not get their bread. -Steak Kabobs: You get the steak, not the stick. I had mine served with rice and mushrooms. This is never a bad option if you're looking for some protein in your diet. Safe choice. -Ribeye: Not bad, not great. I've had better. Maybe next time I will get mine medium instead of medium well. I'm in El Paso at least once a month and I know, there's plenty of other options out here. But you'll still find me here every once in a while since they're safe, consistent, and I know what to expect when I'm at one. read more

My favorite place in town! Seriously, if you are a steak person - you just simply can't go wrong with Texas Road House! I always get either prime rib or ribs - and those are always AWESOME! Service is usually great, but still good on busy nights. It's kinda noisy - that's what I'm not a big fan of, but well for the food they serve - I ll deal with that. When we are there on weekends it sorta seems like everybody's there for birthdays and this whole "yew haw" sh!t is just super annoying to me, but again it's just me and most people( I guess like it) Also, I understand that it's family friendly establishment, but wanna address that to some parents - your burping, screaming, crying kids really don't make people's dining experience any better. This is not a well managed restaurant. Employees are clearly not held accountable for poor performance. I always get my order to go and nearly every time I've gone here, they've managed to screw something up, including today. I called to place a to-go order and per usual, they forgot my condiments, it's a good thing I checked before leaving. I called about 25 minutes before arriving and while I was waiting in the parking lot, I called to get an ETA on my order and was told it would take another 15 to 20 minutes 'at least'. I asked why it's taking so long as they're not particularly busy at which time the lady put me on hold and came back 30 seconds later telling me that my order is ready... When I brought my concerns to the manager, Steve Lopez's attention about my orders being consistently wrong, he either didn't care or didn't get what the problem is. There seems to be a very half-assed culture at this restaurant where no one tries to do their job correctly. There's no way that I'll be back. read more

Food: Fried Pickles (we ordered but they ran out so we nevr got them) Ribeye Steak w/ribs Prime Rib 12oz Rasberry Ice Tea Jamaican (can't recall the other name) The atmosphere is definitely one of a roadhouse but knowing that going in, you shouldnt be surprised by the shells on the floor. If I had to complain about some things they would be minor 1) The green beans were a little salty but still tasty, 2) the marshmellows on the sweet potato was just TOO sweet and the huge Jamican drink wasn't very strong at all. We did appreciate the discount applied on Military Monday and also enjoyed the overall festive environment and service. The prices were also FAB. Not only is the parking to this place a joke but the staff inside is a full on circus of idiots. The staff should all be on the same note and in agreement with what they tell the public and how they verbalize it. To the rude, 4 eyed cvnt who wears the red shirt and ponytail, I understand that working a below minimum wage job stresses you but don't bite the hands that feed you and your bastard "kids." It's no one's fault that you have to work. My suggestions would be fix your attitude since you've chosen to work for the public, learn to swallow and smile when you say, "Would you like fries with that" because it's evident that's the extent to your potential. And when someone tells you to fvck yourself, it's not always an offer but it shows that you're accustomed to thank anyone who does you the favor. Lastly, I highly suggest that you look into exterminating the roaches you have crawling on the walls from the "corral" into your kitchen. There was no clear reason for her to say this as there was plenty of room for us and other customers in the waiting room. Similar to every other place in the El Paso area, it takes a long time to get a table - typically around 45 minutes. I wouldn't recommend going here if you're looking to have a quick in-and-out dinner. Once you get inside, the service is usually pretty good. All of the waiters/waitresses check on the tables pretty often. The food is also great. This is one of my favorite steak spots in the area. They also have some good fried pickles. They also have a pretty good bar area. I would recommend going here if you want to sit and enjoy your meal with a cold beer! read more
