It's very clear Texas Roadhouse and I have an ongoing love affair evidenced by the number of reviews I've given. And it remains. We had the usual. Medium rare steaks with the best sautéed mushrooms... Perfection yet again tonight. We arrived just after three and the place was a little busy but not loud. I like it that way. Why the four stars? Our server could not have been less friendly. We were not greeted by her, never gave her name.... None of the trained greetings we ALWAYS get from each server. Everything seemed to be a chore and she just did not put forth any effort to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. She may have been having a bad day or maybe the service industry isn't for her. The manager seems to also be part of the issue. She never asked how things were. She did a passing by and stated "enjoy those salads and cactus blossom." May seem silly to some, but great service can make a meal incredible. Poor service can take an otherwise incredible meal and make it not enjoyable. Here's hoping next time will be better. read more

Texas Roadhouse is a favorite for me and the hubs. Our server, Garrett, was polite and helpful. He worked his behind off taking our order, keeping our waters filled, and checking in on us. The food was perfect. Rolls delicious, as usual. The Rattlesnake Bites were so cheesy and yummy. The steak was excellent! The mushrooms were soo tasty! (My fave!) and the potato was great. The restaurant was a-buzz with activity since it was full of customers. There were great country music videos on half the screens piping music throughout the building and a Tennessee versus Kentucky basketball game on the rest of the TVs. People love the sportsball. This is one of my favorite restaurants for a Sunday dinner with steak included. Their salads and steaks are always properly cooked and tasty. Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and the environment. It gets very busy during weekends, so plan ahead and be ready to wait for a delicious meal. Went here for a birthday dinner with seven people in the party. They sat us next to a window with a terrible draft and most of us were freezing the entire time. We would have asked for another table, but with a line out the door, this would have likely delayed us at least another hour. As with any birthday meal, conversations are the highlight of the experience. But not here! Nope, they had the music so loud that it was nearly impossible to hear the person sitting next to me, let alone someone at the opposite end of the table. Finally, let's talk about the food. One of the items that I ordered was a Caesar salad. Let me tell you that this was so bland that even Bob Evan's wouldn't serve it, and their whole premise is bland food. As for the entree? I ordered a smothered chicken with steak fries. The fries had a very off putting chemical flavor that couldn't be easily masked with catsup. As for the chicken, it too was quite bland and over salted. While it was just barely edible, it too makes me wonder if the recipe was also a Bob Evan's reject. As for the others, our birthday patron ordered a sirloin steak and complained that the quality of the steak was many orders of magnitude beneath that of a chop steak from a greasy spoon diner. The lone bright spot in an otherwise dismal experience is that the wait staff was very friiendly, fast and knowledgeable. Overall, I recommend that you find a better locally-owned steak shop if you're looking for a quality meal with a quality atmosphere. But hey, if you're a sucker for the loud fast-paced experience more at home in a Chuck E Cheese, then this is your spot! read more

The service was good, not great. The server brought us old cold rolls to begin with that were stuck in everyone's throat to begin with. We finally got drinks after a while. I let the hostess that took us to the table and the server know that it was my granddaughter's birthday, and we were not recognized at all (she just turned 8). The last 2 times my husband I went there we asked for a booth in the bar and we were seated in the tiny booths. So tonight when we went in we asked for a BIG booth in the bar. They stated it would be 20-25 min. And we said that would be fine. Then after waiting that time period they took us to the tiny booth again. We said we asked for a big one and told them we were willing to wait. They said it will be an additional 20 minutes and we said okay. Then after waiting 30 more minutes they took a couple to an open booth in the bar and they had come after us!! We left! We love Texas Roadhouse but this location needs new management and hostesses to improve their service!!! read more

Service, On Saturday February 21, 2026, my wife and I went here to eat. We were seated, and our drink order was taken. This was the last time we saw our server/waitress for the next 25 minutes. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and from what we could tell, our server only had three tables. While waiting on our food, no one came to check on us, and I finally went up to the podium at the front door with my tea glass and asked the lady there for more tea and some more rolls. I got back to the table, and we waited another 10 minutes or so before our food came. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Salad, and my wife ordered the Appetizer Sampler. Her food was cold, the cheese sticks were inedible, and the rest of her food was too cold to eat. During the entire process, our server regularly waited on her other two tables, but never even looked our way. I hate to use this card but, we are white, and the parties at the other two tables were black and so was our server. Needless to say, we will not be going back to the Fort Wayne location. Instead, we'll go to Auburn when we have a craving for TRH. Although I am a notoriously over tipper, we left no tip this night. read more

Another great meal at the Roadhouse. We got a Cactus Blossom to start, then I had a ribeye and my husband had a sirloin. Everything was perfect. Irene was our server and was really great. The only downside to the visit was that we used the online waitlist which gave us a confirmation but then didn't communicate with the store so they didn't know we were on the list. House salad with french dressing; the tangy dressing was loaded with pepper to the point it was more like hot sauce. For the main entree, my choice was beef tips over mashed potatoes. Again, the gravy was so loaded with pepper that it was almost nauseating. I cook with pepper at home using to enhance the flavor of foods- not to overpower it. Pepper is on the table for those who really like the taste of pepper over the food. It was a busy pre/ Valentines weekend Friday evening so it was busier than usual. Pre-pandemic Texas Roadhouse was my favorite chain steak restaurant with tasty food, fun service, at a affordable price range. Since that time, I have returned back to Texas Roadhouse twice and been disappointed with the ability to get the steak order right. The first time I went I went with my medium rare and the steak was almost raw in most of the steak. This time I came prepared and order a medium steak which should be hot and pink in the middle. Unfortunately, the 16 oz ribeye was cut in a weird way where it was flat and thin. When I cut into it, the meat was colorless and rough to eat. If this is medium, then I would be concern with what well done would be. I am going to give them another try after reaching out to the restaurant, they indicated that with staffing issues, it is difficult for them to maintain consistency and you should speak up if it is not right. This place could be great but it's infuriating. The wait is super long. They say call ahead (it's even written on their door) but they won't take the reservation unless it's for a couple. So, we show up and get on the list. An "hour wait" turns into an hour and a half plus. They split our group up into 2 tables not next to each other. Bar was rube and slow. They ask us to wait out in the "chorale" a room just outside the front door but you have to come inside to get a drink. They ask us to wait outside again, but the bar has to card us. Get it together people. We order on one side of the bar, we're asked to pay on the opposite side. Servers constantly pushing past you. There's not enough space around the bar, you also can't hear anything. DO NOT come here for the bar. Everything was slow, Mixed up orders, forgotten drinks, no silverware. We had several servers bring us things. Our waitress couldn't server the table next to our kids for some reason so we stayed at the other table. Just a miserable experience all around. I highly recommend getting in the virtual line because the wait-list is typically an hour or more. I checked my food prior to leaving and a portion of my order was wrong. I requested double fries and they were not in the bag. I made the young person at the counter aware, she told me that's the way double fries are always packaged. I informed her that is not the way its been done in the past, she again assured me it definitely was. She offered to have the service manager, Marissa, speak with me. Marissa politely informed me I was correct , double fries are normally packaged separately, but there was new staff, so that hadn't been done. She looked in my bag and said, but this looks like double fries. I had 4 orders, she did a precursory view of the items on top, only. I wasn't in the mood for disagreements, nor will I ever be fodder for entertainment in public, I'm above that. I left with what was given to me, but I won't be back soon. My father always told me, "If you lie, you'll cheat, if you cheat, you'll steal" - I was lied to today and cheated out of what I had paid for. Haven't been in years. We went about 5:30 on a Thursday. They are just as busy as they were back then but we got in quick. Front greeter sat us along with our fresh made tolls and butter they were pillowy and hot. Loved them. Server greeted us quickly and took our drink order and brought them right away. (No longer have peanuts unless you ask for them and they come in a bag) They have a Monday thru Thursday deal till 6 $10.99 for a meal with two sides. It's a great deal. I chose the bbq chicken with broccoli and baked potato. My gf got the Italian season chicken with loaded baked potato and broccoli cheese bake. They came out fairly quick and served piping hot. Our chicken was soo tender, we used a fork to cut it. It was well cooked and covered with bbq sauce and hers with lots of seasonings. Our potatoes were huge and filled with sour cream and butter, hers also had cheese and bacon. Our other side dish was perfect too. The entree was huge and left us with leftovers for the next day. For being a chain, TR always comes through with great food. Sometimes the steak isn't cooked exactly how you'd like, but you just let them know and they'll get you a new one. It's never an issue. I don't think they are following all the COVID precautions to a T. There aren't any tables left unseated and there is no social distancing seating taking place at the bar. The overall experience was pretty good. We were greeted by a great waiter. He did a great job. He kept our drinks full, gave us lots of bread, and took our orders fast. After waiting for 1.5 hours, 3 out of the 4 of us had good food. One meal had a massive baked potato however was not cooked all the way through and was very hard. A different meal, a medium ribeye was ordered, however a very well done steak was served. Steak was cut into when delivered and sent back. Then 5-10 minutes later, another steak was brought however it was a totally different cut and was well done again. Sent that one back as well. Got what I believe was the right steak another 5-10 minutes later. However it lacked flavor and was more medium well but it was ate. Then we get the bill, and there was no discount or anything that had come off the bill. So we paid full price for a very below average Texas Roadhouse experience. I don't know where to start... None of the kitchen staff are wearing masks or gloves. Maybe 1/3 of the host and wait staff are wearing masks. The restaurant is packed to the gills with patrons. There is no social distancing whatsoever. There is no mask mandate. There are multiple patrons with visible, severe respiratory symptoms who are sitting in close contact with and physically coughing on other people who are NOT in their group. I am seeing multiple tables of four seated with six people. Multiple wait staff have long, acrylic nails. Acrylic nails cannot be cleaned appropriately as your hands can be. It's Texas Roadhouse, so the food is always good. Given the fact that the KITCHEN STAFF aren't taking precautions I don't think I would even order out here. read more

Went there tonight and it was fantastic!!! was very crowded, but we weren't intimidated!!! We opted for the bar and were seated almost immediately!!! What JOY!!! The bartender was over the top fantabulous! Where we sat was exactly perfect!!! No matter how busy they were we felt like royalty!!! The staff took great care Of us!!!
