We were a party of 6 and didn't have to wait for a table. Granted it was a Monday night and we got there about 5:30. The place was still jumping. A lot of birthday celebrations. It's cool how they celebrate for you. The food was good. I had BBQ chicken and a sweet potato. Of course there is complimentary bread with awesome cinnamon butter. Use to really enjoy having dinner here. On the last two occasions the food was disappointing. My Birthday dinner the last time and there was six of us. My daughter ordered a Ribeye med rare, it was actually raw!! Really raw!! Even our waitress that was great saw it and agreed. I was trying to eat leaner meat so I ordered the 8oz sirloin med rare,mine was well done! Also noted by the waitress. My son-inlaw had macaroni and cheese ( paid the upgrade) he turned the little cup over and showed our waitress that the only cheese was on top, all the macaroni was bone dry on the bottom, no cheese at all!! Even the party next to us was mis behaving. Small children standing up on their bench seats, yelling and screaming. I felt as if there should have been management asking adults to make them sit down. No manager over came over to our table to ask us why we were so disappointed. 6 dinners and a take out steak dinner to go and we did get compt $18.00 . Very disappointed Birthday dinner. We live close by and often come here. We've noticed turn around and lot of new staff. The past few times coming there were some hiccups so we gave it some time. Went tonight. Server was new but trying hard to please. The kitchen let us and her down. Our appetizer was wrong and then my husband's meal came out with sour cream on it. When we said it wasn't supposed to have sour cream on the beef tips the person bringing it out said, "I'll have then remove it." Then his server came out and said I'll have them make a new dish. They brought the food and we could tell they scooped it out. The server could tell and when we asked to speak to the manager, he could tell too. He said, "the owner is in the kitchen tonight." This was my very first visit to TRH. I have heard so much about this place and was actually excited that my family decided to go there after Salisbury University's football game. Of course we started out with the TRH signature rolls which were everything folks have raved about with that delicious cinnamon butter I also decided to order the fried pickles. They come with a ranch and a spicy chipotle dip. They have a coating on them that is reminiscent of seasoned fried chicken. Sooo good and they're are enough for the table to share. SN: I took my extras home. They're delicious on a burger with some of that dipping sauce For my drink I ordered the refreshing and sweet Kenny's Cooler Next, I ordered a the smothered chicken breast with onions, mushrooms, and gravy. The chicken was moist and flavorful. It went well with the side of mashed potatoes. I also got the broccoli which was supposed to be al dente, but was definitely over cooked. Overall, my meal was good, but then I decided to go to the bathroom. They're are 3 stalls and the only one available was the handicap stall. The inside of the toilet rim appeared to have feces all around the inside I told the manager. He said he would get someone on it right away, but from the looks of it whoever they have to clean hasn't been paying attention to the toilets at all ‍ This was such a turn off after a pretty tasty meal. read more

So the restaurant itself appears to be recently renovated. The building and parking are quite clean. Had about a 10 minute wait for a table, no big deal. The bathrooms, however, appear no not be installed yet, as they had a trailer in the parking lot for bathrooms. With no air conditioning in the trailer. They also had a jiffy John on the other side of the building. The service was mediocre, with the actual server seeming to want to be elsewhere. He did refill our waters once during the meal, but then disappeared, with no instructions about how to use the on-table kiosk to view and pay the bill, and no opportunity to ask for a take-away box for our leftovers. The server for the next table was friendlier and more helpful to us than our server. I'm thinking I won't be back to this location for these reasons. read more

We had a pretty good experience here. Large group-8 people-had to call ahead to join the waiting list. We were sat very quickly using this service, I recommend using it! Our server, Jaime, was thorough and quick to get orders in and out. She had all this St. Patrick's Day gear on-it was so cute and she helped make for a great experience. I ordered a steak kebab that came with vegetables. I was a bit surprised when my kebab came without the skewer that changes the dish from a steak and veggie platter to a kebab, but it still tasted good nonetheless! One person in our party had a soy allergy and virtually every staff member paid attention to it, asked her about it, and informed her of what she could and could not eat. Betty A. had ribs, a sweet potato, and chile at the Fruitland Texas Roadhouse on 6-11-23. Shortly after getting getting home she became seriously ill to the point of fainting and breaking 4 bones in her foot. She was hospitalized reported to the Wicomico County Health Dept. An inspection was completed on 6-22-23 and numerous violations were found, especially with the ribs and hand washing. ( see Health Dept. Inspection dated 6-22-23 ) Texas Roadhouse refuses to address her situation and needless to say we will never eat there again and do not recommend dining at any Texas Roadhouse. read more

The food was dry and overcooked. The service was terrible and the waiter was very rude and unfit to do his job. We had a male waiter who did not take our order in his notepad, instead danced in place with the notepad and pen in his hand writing nothing until halfway through our order. He repeatedly asked us what was in our order and had multiple orders messed up. When our food came out he would not place them on the table, instead we had to take them from his hand over the table even when right next to him. When we told him the food was wrong he continued to argue with us that this was what we ordered. I had ordered a 6oz sirloin and received an 11oz sirloin. Another at my table ordered a ribeye and received a sirloin. After we told him our order was wrong, we sat with empty drinks with our meals because he did not come back to check on us until he asked about the bill, and then still never asked if we wanted refills with all of our empty glasses sitting on the table. We came hungry and this place delivered. We enjoyed dinner here on a Saturday evening around 8:30pm and it was a great time to go-no wait, not too loud, quick service. Our waitress was not warm or fuzzy, but she was efficient and got the job done. Starting off the hostess " Mattie " is probably one of the rudest people i have ever dealt with in my entire life. My family and I visit this place atleast two times a month. Majority of time it's a hit, good service with good food; however occasionally you'll have a miss. My family and I visited last night, our waitresses name was Denise; and she was awesome. Take for example one of my entree items was absolutely horrible, inedible rather. Rather than make a issue, I was just going to pass it up as a miss that night (it happens). Denise picked up on this when I didn't eat more than one or two bites and refused a box to take it home. Rather than simply collecting the plates and handing over the check she was determined to rectify the situation (even after I continuously told her it was fine); she took it upon herself to get the manager involved. She went above and beyond to ensure that we not only received excellent customer service, but that we were 100% completely satisfied with the food and left feeling we got our money's worth. This is by far one of the worst restaurants in the Salisbury/Fruitland area. I only eat here because my wife likes it, but even she said to reminder her about tonight. We both ordered the country fried sirloin, got house salads...she got green beans, and I got mashed potatoes. Look at the picture...it was as hard as a rock. Everytime I have got food or ate in the food is terrible, and again it is because of my wife that I see what disaster will be seeved to me. The salads were ok, hard to screw them up. The green beens looked edible and the mashed potatoes were ok. I really do not understand why so many people like this place enough to wait outside and rave about the food. I was then told by the hostess "you didn't check in". The text message above was a literal copy paste of the text I received. No where in the text did it say about "checking in". So the hostess checked me in and said my party would be sat next. At this point, I brought my party of 4 into the lobby to wait. As we stood there, 2 other party's were seated in front of us. Even though we were told we would be next. Then after over an hour of waiting, the hostess I had just spoken to minutes before called me. Even though she could clearly see me in the waiting area. She then told me their grill was down and the food would take 45min to an hour from the time we ordered. At this point, we took our business else where. I absolutely love Texas roundhouse. I'll start by saying my family and I have been frequent customers for YEARS. Last night was the absolute worst. I came in to put our name on the list and was quoted an hour wait time. 1.5 hours past before I called. I called to see how much longer it would be before we would be sat and the lady on the phone told me "you haven't even been called up yet which is weird before the people after you have". So I proceeded to go in and ask for a manager because that's crazy. As I was talking to the manager she informed me that they had called me ... literally while I was talking to her they paged for us to come in... Cool, we go and sit down. It takes the server about 10 minutes to even greet us, then another 15 minutes before we received our drinks , which was just a tea and water. We had to ask 3 different times to even get bread. Our food took over an hour to come out , then on top of that one of the steaks was over cooked and super tiny. We ordered the 12 ounce ribeye, which we always ordered and it's never looked that small/flat before. It took the server an additional 10 minutes to even come back to see how the food was. We expressed to her the issue and she assured us that she would have another meal made. An additional 30 minutes has passed before I went up to actually speak to a manager. Now, I've been in the restaurant industry for over 7 years , at least 6 of those serving. So when it comes to going to restaurants I'm at lot more understanding when things go astray. However, this really set me off. I spoke to the manager and there was no accountability at all. She wasn't at all apologetic or offered her assistance at all. I'm used to managers stepping in however they can especially when you see your staff struggling. She did not. It took about 30 minutes for the remake to come out and I told her that we were not paying for it because we've been sat for 2 hours and the other person with me hasn't ate anything. The sever went to tell the manager and the manager took it off the bill. The manager handed us the bill, and still was not at all apologetic. She literally stood about 10 feet from us to make sure we paid and when we got up and started walking away , she asked us "is your payment on the table ". In all my years of serving I've never disrespected someone like that, especially over $20. Went up to the hostess when I came in for my brothers 16th birthday, I asked her how long and she said 15 mins, so we sat in the seats next to the hostess as 5 large families came in. We waited and waited and waited until my bf went up and asked how long more we had to wait. The HOSTESS SAID SHE NEVER CHECKED US IN and that we left. WE NEVER LEFT. Not even to use the bathroom. We waited in our seats. WE CHECKED IN. 100% she said it was a 15 mins wait! Just to tell us that she never checked in and that we would have to wait an additional 30-45 mins! I would've had to wait an hour and 30 mins! Including the time I already sat down thinking the hostess checked us in. The hostess didn't even apologize. She doubled down and was rude about it.
