3:15 on a Thursday and it was full of ppl already. We thought we were early too. It's definitely the place to be. Plenty of parking. As we walked in, no issue getting a table. There were lots of ppl already seated. I presume they all got there at 3pm when it opened. A good variety of items on the menu. We went for the $5 margaritas. Great and refreshing. The warm rolls and sweet butter are our favorite each time. No longer is there barrows of peanuts in the waiting area. There's a package bag of peanuts for you to enjoy on the table. We had a variety of food orders. I had the prime rib with sautéed mushrooms on top. It was perfect and cooked the way I like it. Caesar salad to start was good as well. Waitress had a trainee badge but I think she did a great job. Food was a bit slow to come out but I'm sure they didn't expect the amt of ppl at 3pm.

Went here on a weekend, super busy with a long wait time (as expected) but easy & convenient to get on the waitlist. Lots of space for those who are waiting inside & outside. Service was excellent from the hostess, to the waitress, to the staff that brought out our food. A+! The food was "meh" I'd say. Had a smothered porkchop, delicious. Chili was bomb. We had shared a blooming onion or whatever it's called, I know it's fried, but so much grease pooled up on the bottom. And the batter would fall off as we were dipping it. Rolls & butter are always on point. Chicken tenders/strips with fries were okay. Chicken fried steak, big portion... average taste. Macaroni & cheese was dry, caked up cheese, not the best. Steak, yes, I mean it makes sense since it's Texas Roadhouse. :) Atmosphere is great, prices are fair, probably a place I'd visit a handful of times a year known what not to get & hat to get.

I ordered steak and salmon to go. I added $8 as a tip when I placed the order, only to receive push back when I asked for additional steak sauce. The experience fell short because of the steak sauce situation. The sauce containers were only about 1/4 full, which wasn't nearly enough. When I asked for additional sauce, I was told they couldn't provide more than two. I had to purchase a bottle for $6. For a steakhouse, it's frustrating to feel like you have to ration steak sauce, especially when the containers aren't even filled properly. It may seem like a small thing, but it really impacts the overall experience.

"Fried catfish" (They looked even smaller in person)

Terrible service, just rude, and my group was rushed when we just sat down. We asked for new rolls because they were a little burnt, and instead of checking, were instantly told, "They're probably all like that you'll just have to wait for a new batch." My catfish came out for my 3-piece catfish meal, and it was the smallest catfish "dinner" I've ever seen in my life. Was given no time to think of my replacement and I heard the waitress utter something under her breath as she walked past me, with the food in her hand. For my first TRH in Texas, I don't think I'll ever be going to another here, especially not this location.

Ehhh. Not a fan of this location. They had a lot of hiccups, and even the rolls were crispy... that's right crispy. We just prefer the Mansfield location.

Quick seating even during a rush. Great service. Food never disappoints. Always consistent. But always too loud. That's the only drawback.

Recently, I had lunch here, and they now have a new farm to table menu that really exceeded my expectations. The Ranch has reinvented itself many times, and now it's a restaurant I would visit for the food AND atmosphere. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - At its core, it's a bar with several indoor and outdoor dining areas with a country theme. The Ranch is so versatile that you can host a private event while people dine in the main area while others hang out at the bar. There's also a charming outdoor area that is nice if the weather is cool. Best of all - it's full of people and energy. 1 Star. Service - Our server was great. We explained the concept, went over the menu, and while a large table occupied his time, several of the staff were helpful. Everyone was dressed in Cowboy/Ranch gear. Texas Southern Hospitality is real. 1 Star. Food - My most recent visit was like visiting a new restaurant. The Ranch's menu has changed, and everything was new. I started with the pork belly appetizers, which was a great start to meal. The tender pork meat had a layer of sweet + salty belly that melts in your mouth. I went with the Barbacoa Grilled Cheese that was one of the best I've ever had. The barbacoa (shredded BBQ beef) was the star and was better than any brisket grilled cheese I've had. The sourdough was grilled with lots of butter, so after devouring the sandwich I had to wash my hands. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Absolutely. I had been to The Ranch so many times I considered a place to gather for Happy Hour. Not anymore. The new menu is incredible, and I can't wait to return. 1 Star.

Ordered two. The Vaquero Shrimp were the undisputed highlight -- genuinely outstanding. Everything else fell flat. Steak was bland, fries arrived cold. Two visits, same story. My guess is the overpriced menu items deliver what the atmosphere promises but the $30 deal is a value trap. The Ranch looks the part but the kitchen isn't backing it up at this price point. SAS Verdict: Not Approved. The Vaquero Shrimp alone can't carry the whole meal.

We started with the Smoking Barrel, mixed with rye, Peychaud's, Angostura, peach bitters, orange peel, and smoked mesquite. The fresh popovers served alongside the first course were airy, warm, and a standout touch on their own. The fried calamari was crisp and tender, served with remoulade, marinara, and grilled lemon. The braised tenderloin hummus was equally well-executed, topped with chili oil, onion ash, and green onions with warm pita. For the mains, both cuts of meat arrived cooked to temperature and seasoned with precision. The 6oz filet mignon came paired with cacio e pepe ravioli, while the 12oz ribeye was served alongside asparagus and marbled potatoes. The wine pairing selections matched the steak courses well without overpowering the plates. Dessert closed out strong.
