3:15 on a Thursday and it was full of ppl already. We thought we were early too. It's definitely the place to be. Plenty of parking. As we walked in, no issue getting a table. There were lots of ppl already seated. I presume they all got there at 3pm when it opened. A good variety of items on the menu. We went for the $5 margaritas. Great and refreshing. The warm rolls and sweet butter are our favorite each time. No longer is there barrows of peanuts in the waiting area. There's a package bag of peanuts for you to enjoy on the table. We had a variety of food orders. I had the prime rib with sautéed mushrooms on top. It was perfect and cooked the way I like it. Caesar salad to start was good as well. Waitress had a trainee badge but I think she did a great job. Food was a bit slow to come out but I'm sure they didn't expect the amt of ppl at 3pm.

Went here on a weekend, super busy with a long wait time (as expected) but easy & convenient to get on the waitlist. Lots of space for those who are waiting inside & outside. Service was excellent from the hostess, to the waitress, to the staff that brought out our food. A+! The food was "meh" I'd say. Had a smothered porkchop, delicious. Chili was bomb. We had shared a blooming onion or whatever it's called, I know it's fried, but so much grease pooled up on the bottom. And the batter would fall off as we were dipping it. Rolls & butter are always on point. Chicken tenders/strips with fries were okay. Chicken fried steak, big portion... average taste. Macaroni & cheese was dry, caked up cheese, not the best. Steak, yes, I mean it makes sense since it's Texas Roadhouse. :) Atmosphere is great, prices are fair, probably a place I'd visit a handful of times a year known what not to get & hat to get.

my copped steak. Burnt instead of medium well. It was still somewhat pink inside, but could not even chew bottom. Disappointed.

Do not order your meat medium well. The bottom of mines was burnt, and too hard to chew. Roadhouse in Grand Prairie Texas 03/18/26 6:40 pm. I wish I could share the picture of my meat.

"Fried catfish" (They looked even smaller in person)

Terrible service, just rude, and my group was rushed when we just sat down. We asked for new rolls because they were a little burnt, and instead of checking, were instantly told, "They're probably all like that you'll just have to wait for a new batch." My catfish came out for my 3-piece catfish meal, and it was the smallest catfish "dinner" I've ever seen in my life. Was given no time to think of my replacement and I heard the waitress utter something under her breath as she walked past me, with the food in her hand. For my first TRH in Texas, I don't think I'll ever be going to another here, especially not this location.

    Dark rolls lol smh

We went in with a party of 13. We were told we couldn't be seated until a particular server came in. Mind you there are servers standing around at the check area. Come to find out the server we waiting just happened to be black which we were a black party. So with all the managers there no one could seat us we had to wait on one person. Then we asked to have an area for us to bring a few tables together we were denied and split up too 3 booths. After passing two areas that had empty tables. The server was excellent. I am beyond disappointed with the location. We feel racially profiled as well as still can't believe that no manager would seat a party that was told to wait until 330 then we ended up not being seated to like 4 pm.

Seems like a great place for families or large groups although the wait was insane. We were told 30 mins but it ended up being over an hour. I was really hoping the food would be worth the wait and I'm happy to say it was. I got steak and shrimp with a baked sweet potato and side Cesar salad. Everything was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. They had some yummy mocktails I had a cranberry one and it was fire. So all in all it was worth the wait. It's just a shame they don't do reservations but I can understand why. It's pretty busy. I also thought it was nice they have a to go walk up window.

Quick seating even during a rush. Great service. Food never disappoints. Always consistent. But always too loud. That's the only drawback.

At that time, brunch was around $40-$45 and I truly enjoyed myself. This time for Mother's Day, it was the exact same food, but the price jumped to about $55 per person. Everything was going well until my daughter asked for a to-go container for a slice of pie. After that, the manager, Joe, walked up to our table of eight adults and two children and literally rolled his eyes and stared us down for what felt like 10-15 minutes. I would normally give courtesy to our waiter, but instead of helping, he sat there with the manager talking negatively while we were still dining. I can't even remember his name, but he appeared very unkempt. Meanwhile, the table next to us had two girls dining, and he continuously checked on them asking if they were ready to go or needed anything else before leaving. We arrived around 1 PM and by 2 PM we were already getting death stares from management, as if we had overstayed our welcome. We were not even there for two full hours, yet the entire experience felt rushed and uncomfortable. On top of a $513 bill, we still left an $80 tip, only to feel stared down over asking for one small to-go box for pie. Also worth mentioning: there are only TWO bathroom stalls while they are serving what looked like well over 150 people during brunch service, so the wait for the restroom alone was ridiculous. The food was still good, but the hospitality completely changed my opinion of this place. Prices went up, service went down, and the atmosphere felt very unwelcoming compared to Easter brunch. I'll gladly take my money back to downtown Dallas restaurants instead.

The restaurant was practically empty, so we sat in the bar/lounge area. The host and other staff were friendly. Our waiter came off a little smug at first and barely cracked a smile. He honestly seemed a bit annoyed that he had to wait on us, which felt very unfriendly. My friend managed to get him to loosen up a bit as the night went on though, so maybe that's just his personality. To his credit, he was very informative when it came to the main course options. The lighting was dim and intimate. Ambiance was simple and modern. I ordered the sea bass and my friend ordered the beef Wellington. Honestly, after tasting my fish, he ended up enjoying my sea bass more than his own dish. The sea bass was like butter, just as the waiter described it. If fish could fall off the bone, this one would have. It came with rice, cashews, and a ginger miso sauce. The cashews added a really nice crunch and texture and the flavors worked really well together. I thoroughly enjoyed it as b the only downside was the portion size. Like a lot of nicer restaurants, you get one small piece of fish... about the size of my pinky finger. My friend's beef Wellington, on the other hand, was just okay. He didn't say it was bad, but it definitely didn't stand out, especially compared to the sea bass. We also ordered potatoes as a side and the white truffle Caesar salad. The salad was good and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated. The potatoes were solid too and paired well with the meal. Dessert, unfortunately, was not it! We ordered the Wicked Sundae. Our waiter had actually recommended the banana pudding or the chocolate tart, but we decided to try something else. We probably should've taken his advice. The sundae tasted mostly like ice cream and was missing the main part of the dish -- the brownie. Nothing to run home about, and it also happened to be the most expensive dessert on the menu. Definitely not worth it.
