I can't say enough how underwhelming and disappointing our experience was here. I had the worst steak I've eaten served to me at this place. We were seated and had the bread rolls placed in front of us, we had to ask several times for a plate and silverware. The appetizers were lukewarm at best. The worst part was the 23$ steak. It was completely flavorless and had more fat than protein in it. It didn't look/feel or taste like actual meat at all. The gravy they so gladly charge you 1.99$ for, was just the same. Bland and fatty. Our baked potatoes tasted bland and was missing toppings which we were expecting (green onions). I placed a curbside order for chicken fried steak and this is what I received. Half the steak was also chewy and inedible. The macaroni and cheese was dry with zero sauce. It was very clear, and after pointing it out to the server (Wendy) she just walk away to call the manger who indicated that there is no way they can be wrong since according to him the weight all the steaks. Pretty disappointing that after a meal for 7 people the manager with the worst manners ruined our dinner. Place was packed tonight (for a Tuesday and all) , staff was friendly....where we missed the Mark was cleanliness and temperature/taste of food my wife and I got. My chicken tenders tasted like old frying oil. Cherry on top was the disgusting bathrooms as they looked like they haven't been cleaned since yesterday! Horrible experience picking up a large order. Waiting in curbside while 2 workers hang out in the tent and the manager comes out to get them. They were just chilling. Finally ending up going in to get the food myself after 15 minutes. By the time I got home with the food everything was cold. No cinnamon butter was sent for the buns or the extra ones I ordered. Texas Roadhouse has never disappointed me until the other evening I was dining with my family, our servers name was nick. Very nice waiter so I thought we all received our checks, my check came out to $45.80 I paid with card and left a cash tip of $5.00. I zeroed out the tip on my receipt, when I checked my bank account the next day I was charged $55.80. I went up to Texas Roadhouse to see why I was up charged, as the handed me my receipt the server nick wrote his own tip of $10.00 over my line through the tip. It's a chain, I'm not sure the reviews matter because most of us reading will still go back for the consistency in food but that's it. The hostess was very inattentive, Francesca had three parties standing waiting for her attention and even when acknowledging us standing in front of her after several minutes, she did not look up once from her screen. Definitely not a family restaurant, didn't know I was taking my kids to the club. You'll want to bring ear protection for the kids. I wanted a laid back dinner with my kids and husband for my birthday, being a Sunday, I just want to kick back and relax. This was apparently not the restaurant to do that at. The service was really slow and the seating has you packed in like a subway. We were sitting there for awhile just waiting for someone to take our drink order, but eventually had to flag down a manager. The service was quicker after that, but not terribly friendly. The food was OK, though we did not care for the rolls (too sweet) nor the strange, whipped, cinnamon butter they came with. The pork chop and steak were really chewy and fatty, but seasoned well. For the salad, get your Caesar dressing on the side because it was insanely overdressed. The steamed vegetables were almost raw, but again, seasoned very well. The mac and cheese was really bad, dry and flavorless and definitely not scratch made. The green beans and the mashed potatoes were very tasty. The reason we will not be returning is --- and let me preface this by saying that that we are a loud, music loving family --- the ridiculous Coyote Ugly wannabe reenactment they apparently do every 45 minutes. The dancing itself is not the issue, its the dangerous, ear-piercing volume they blared the crappy music at while the staff "performed". My 5 year old had her hands over her ears screaming "its too loud" sitting right next to me and I could barely hear her. My son and I had pounding headaches afterwards. It was impossible for us to enjoy our dinner - especially knowing if we were not done in time, we would be subjected to another round of auditory abuse. It was insane and completely irresponsible to subject unknowing families to during their dinner. Great service, consistent food preperations. The hostess always greet you immediately and the wait is usually very short, even on crowded nights. They make sure everything is good while they walk you to your table and usually, during dinner, a manager will stop by to see how things are going. My husband and I have had many of the items on the menu. He loves the sirloin special on Wednesday, with steak fries and the sweet potato. I like the ribs and BBQ chicken. My sides vary, but their mashed potatoes are good, complete with chunks of potatoes and creamy mashed ones all mixed in, is a favorite. You can get it with cheese and bacon, or white/brown gravy. The best, best thing here is definitely the rolls and the cinnamon butter. So good!! I am slightly grossed out by the peanuts that everyone eats and then throws on the floor, but people seem to love the all-you-can-eat peanut buckets. The only drawback is that their teas are only ok. The sweet tea and the peach teas both taste very syrupy and leave a lingering taste in your mouth. :( read more

Also get free peanuts. Good for Birthday's. Everything is made from scratch and is fresh. We loved it so much we went back the next day and everything was on par. The value is great, ended up spending around 18 dollars for 2 and both satisfied and full. The mashed potatoes was one of the best as well as their baked potato. My favorite besides their steaks was the chili. The meat used inside the chili is magnificent. I went here with my family to celebrate my mom's birthday. It was a Saturday night and knew there would be a wait. The host qouted us 30 to 45 minutes and our table was ready at 45 minutes exactly. We were paged and go to to the host stand. They were 4 hostess at the host stand and waited for a good 5 minutes before someone acknowledged us. Came in on a Saturday evening around 9:00pm. The wait time was approximately 20 minutes which is not bad for a weekend. Normally, we get great service here but unfortunately that was not the case this time. Unfortunately, all the tables around us got to order and receive their food before us even after we were seated before the other tables. The waitress that we had was Yisselle she was friendly but was not attentive at all. She seemed like she would rather be anywhere else. Also, off the subject her nails were extremely too long to be a waitress very unsanitary and unprofessional for this line of work. Unfortunately, we constantly had to ask her for refills and other items needed for our food. The food was great and delicious as usual and the ambiance was nice as always. I arrive in spot 7 and had to wait over 30 minutes just for some rolls that weren't hot, chewy as hell and dry. Today I placed an order online for this appetizer. I got all the way home and realized that the sauce was never put inside the container. You can clearly see that nothing ever touched the container, the sauce did not spill, and that someone clearly forgot the sauce . I wasn't going to drive all the back but I did call because to me, this ruined bummed me out but not enough to write a bad review because things happen.. I decided to called the store and spoke to a girl in take out who was very apologetic and was transferred to a manager who honestly didn't seem to care about the situation. She made excuses saying, " they usually put it in the brown bag" I checked and it wasn't in the brown bag. "I'll talk to the kitchen" and then silent. To me, she didn't seem to care much or just didn't believe me. Lastly, she said, "the next time you come in, we will give you a free appetizer." And then ONLy asked for my first name, said sorry. I have been to many Texas Roadhouses and never had a problem with anyone. But this situation honestly rubbed me the wrong way. Her sides were green beans and mushrooms. Her favorite were the mushrooms. I had the rib-eye steak and for my sides I had the chilli and mashed potatoes. The steak was delicious.
