Based on reviews and it being a 3.1/5 overall I was pleasantly surprised with the experience. My friend and I arrived around 6:30pm and it was beyond busy. The wait time was about 45 minutes but luckily they gave us an option to sit at the bar and we didn't have to wait. Came here to celebrate my early birthday and I left happy & full. We started off with some frozen mango margaritas. Great mango flavor, the drink was strong & I like that they added chunks of mango inside the drink. Then we ordered a half slab of ribs with steak fries as an appetizer. The ribs were tendered and fall off the bone, flavor wise it could've used some more salt. The steak fries were good and seasoned nicely. The complimentary rolls that were brought out were hot, fresh, soft, fluffy & just delicious. By far the freshest rolls I've had at Texas RH. For my main course I got the 12 ounce ribeye with corn & green beans. The steak came out medium which is perfectly fine with me as long as it's not medium well or well done. The steak was juicy, tender and had the right amount of seasoning. I added extra salt just because I like my steaks a little more salty. The corn was standard and peppery. Unfortunately the green beans were my least favorite. Not much flavor except from the bacon. It was just smoky but bland as well. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience. It's extremely busy so expect a wait. Parking can be challenging even though it has a lot of spots, there's so many businesses that share the lot. Our bartender was friendly and pretty attentive considering she was running around making drinks. Will I come back? Yes.

For some reason the country fried sirloin I had tasted too salty for me. Also the men's restroom was nasty.

I figured this would be a great date with my 15 year old niece and it did not disappoint. We were greeted and seated promptly on a Thursday evening. It was a full house. We immediately received bread as we sat. Which was cool. My niece and I ordered combo appetizer: potato skins, twisted cheese and buffalo bites. They were all perfect. We ordered the medium well 8oz Sirloin and medium 8oz NY Sirloin which was cooked to our liking. It was amazing. The Caesar Salad was very fresh. The fries were good. The seasoned rice was tasty. Maria was our server and she was very friendly and helpful.

TX staple. Service and atmosphere: Because this is popular chain expect to wait around 1.5 h for a table. The restaurant is big and can accommodate many guests and there is plenty of parking spaces but they fill up fast. Service was friendly and swift. Food and drinks: Good effort on the steak side. Many options to choose from and try. My steak was prepared as requested and I enjoyed seasoning on it. Two sides that came with it were good too. The restaurant has full bar so you can order your favourite beverage. Pricing: $$ - probably cheaper prices then in other comparable chains.

My gf has been asking me to come here and try the cinnamon butter rolls, so we decided to come on a weekend evening. It was pretty packed and we waited about an hour Our server was nice and service was great. When we got seated, we were greeted with the famous cinnamon butter rolls and wow they were amazing. The cinnamon butter is just a flavor combination that just works on freshly baked bread We ordered the combination appetizer, fried chicken and prime rib. The prime rib was cooked well and very tender, but we thought the rest were just ok The food was definitely on the heavy side and we felt really full by the end of the meal. Would come back again mainly for the prime rib and the bread!!

I had a really good experience at Texas Roadhouse. I really liked the atmosphere -- it was fun, lively, and comfortable. The service was also very good and the staff was attentive the whole time.

I've been in Katy forever and never once have I eaten at Texas Roadhouse so we decided to stop on in last Friday. It's located on a busy strip with lots of other restaurants but there's a big parking lot and I lucked up on a spot right out front. We were immediately seated with their famous hot & fresh rolls with the best honey cinnamon butter you'll ever taste! Our server even brought a fresh basket of rolls when she came to greet us. She offered great recommendations for their margaritas and appetizers. We ordered the sampler with boneless wings, fried pickles and twisted cheese. It was my daughter's first time having fried pickles and she loved them! Our son wanted a steak and to my surprise they had one on the kid's menu. I was eyeing the ribs but opted for the fried catfish. When I say they have the best green beans ever...I mean those green beans are soooo yummy! I almost forgot to snap a pic because the food was so good that we started eating everything right away. I think I'll add them into rotation because I went to that area for a different restaurant but I was so glad we changed to Texas Roadhouse. I'm glad they're still just as good as I remember after all these years!

The rolls are sent from heaven. Service has always been great when I visit this location and the food is on point. I HIGHLY recommend the seasoned rice!! It's a shock how delicious it is.

Great cuts of steak. We picked our own! This margarita is Delicious! The manager and waitress were attentive but the front desk ladies weren't welcoming and has us waiting before greeting us with a dry, "how many?" Food was good.

The exterior is just as beautifully decorated. It's clear that chef-owner Lori Pope poured a lot of time, heart, and soul into both the menu and the store's design. The hostess was super friendly. As soon as I walked in, she gave me a warm and smiling greeting. The menu was a feast for the eyes. It had a lot of lovely pictures of the different dishes. I was ecstatic to see that there were so many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. Also, most of the dishes can be requested to be made gluten-free. Big plus. You don't order at your table, instead you go to the counter in the back and make sure to bring the sheet with your table number on it. The gal at the counter who took our order wasn't as friendly as the hostess but she was polite enough to inform us about the 15% charge. The food came out very quickly. Hopefully it's because they had a ton of people working in the back. Hopefully. I ordered the Magic Mushroom Tacos and thought it was a beautiful plate. My favorite thing about the dish is the tortillas. It had a nice light crisp to it and kept all the fillings intact from start to finish. The "Magic Mushrooms" were good but could have been better if the batter were lighter and crispier. The batter was a little on the heavy and dense side for me. I also think the sauce could be even better if it had a bit less oil and a bit more flavor. I really enjoyed the potato slices and the fresh berries were a great way to cleanse the palate. My lunch date ordered the Biscuit and gravy dish and thought it was good. We also ordered a side of the Belgian waffle to share. I thought the waffle on its own was extremely sweet and way too dense for my liking. I am happy there's a locally owned and created brunch place like Harvest Kitchen and will definitely be back to try other dishes. Note: There's an automatic 15% service charge to every order.

She brought me my cinnamon roll after I asked for a refund, I relayed that message to granddaughter. My review reflects on her unwelcoming hostess mentioned.. I was also met with pages of messages on Instagram from their personal page after this review that I KINDLY responded to on how they no longer served us. Apparently you can't be open and honest on yelp without being banned from this restaurant. Lack of professionalism and ability to accept open criticism is clearly an issue & displayed here. Being labeled as much considering the close and friendly relationships I've had with the staff here is disappointing, disgraceful, and disrespectful. I will not longer be commenting on this as of 06/17/2026. 06/16/2026: I am a regular. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed my meal and/or experience here from start to finish here. Today was my last straw. The experience and food is noticeably different when chef Lori is not here. For $80 I expect my food to come fresh and delivered with the rest of the tables food. I don't expect to sit down for 10 - 15 minutes to then be notified they are out of what I ordered. I've sat down for an extra 5 - 10 minutes and I saw 10 empty tables with no line. The whole experience here has gone downhill and rapidly fast. To say the least, I will not consider myself a regular here anymore. I added an old picture because I really use to enjoy this place.

But wait, there's more....... The exterior could definitely use some work. Host stand plopped outside. Inside felt a little crowded. Wine cellar-ish. Mother's Day, a bit chaotic for all restaurants. Took 10-15 minutes to be greeted after being sat. No big deal, I get it. Santiago was great. We did the mystery mimosa experience which was fun! We go to order our food and BOOM!! This is where they get you. It was all a lie. A very deceiving menu written in a way where you think you're going to get oxtails and jollof rice plus appetizer and dessert for $55 per person. Because that's a great price, not really a deal, just a great price. WRONG. Santiago had to clarify that it was $55 EXTRA ON TOP OF $42 PER PERSON. SO $97 PER PERSON FOR OXTAILS AND JOLLOF RICE, AN APP & DESSERT. RIDICULOUS! TOTALLY DISHONEST AND DECEIVING. Write it as $55 additional per person, so everyone knows what they're getting into before they reserve their table. Because Santiago admitted everyone he served that day was shocked at the additional cost. Not wanting to ruin my wife's FIRST Mother's Day, I brushed it off and still continued with the order. Appetizer: tequeño & empanada. Bland, came out cold and after our entrees came out. Entrees: Oxtail & Jollof rice. I loved it. Flavor was great. Just wish there was a lot more. For $97, you expect to have 6-8 large oxtails and a side of rice. What i got was 4 very tiny oxtails and a full plate of rice!! Peri peri chicken & jollof rice- flavor was nice and smoky. But again, for $97, you expect more than 2 avg size leg quarters and a full plate of rice. Dessert: They were out of key lime pie by noon. I saw the cheesecake, it was a thin plain slice, so we opted for their seis leches cake. It was not good. It was not soaked enough, very dry. The reason the score wasn't lower was because service was great, the entrees tasted great and they gave each mother a single rose and Mother's Day card which had a pin in it that said best mom ever. Which made my wife's day even that much better. Thank you Chef Casey. But I don't think I would visit again solely based on the deceiving menu and small portions that are not worth the additional cost.

I stopped in for lunch and decided to sit out on the patio which ended up being the perfect choice. The atmosphere was relaxed, bright, and inviting with a nice open feel that makes it easy to slow down and actually enjoy your meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in and everything moved quickly and smoothly. I ordered the guava mimosa and it was SO good. This restaurant definitely aims to please. I was being very specific about what I wanted for my ribeye steak tonight; waitress Jessie was awesome and listened carefully to my requests. And then to make sure that I was absolutely happy, she brought Chef Kenneth to the table to discuss what I was looking for. Kenneth returned from the kitchen with three beautiful-looking ribeye steaks and we discussed which one would give me the best dining experience. He does some of the butchering himself so he knew exactly what I was looking for. I ended up being served the most fabulous Wagyu steak I've had in a very long time. Unlike the other steaks that can have a seasoning on them, the Wagyu is just salt and pepper and then is served with a beautiful compound butter slathered all over it. They make that butter in-house and it has wine and shallots and bone marrow and other wonderful stuff. Trust me, it's amazing! I ordered extra on the side and poured that all over the top of the steak. Delicious!! Sometimes little things count and it was served with grilled onion that was tasty. I could have had a side of mashed potatoes or asparagus, but I decided to treat myself and try the mac-n-cheese instead. Half of that food was my lunch the next day, so I left enough room for dessert, where my choice was the apple pie bread pudding with cinnamon roll ice cream. That was nice and moist and I enjoyed it. On the other hand, I want to recognize our waiter, who was excellent throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food also fell short of expectations. In particular, I would not recommend the mussels. The flavor was unpleasant and left a very bad aftertaste, making them one of the least enjoyable dishes we ordered. Good customer service isn't just about enforcing rules--it's about how those rules are communicated. Unfortunately, the manager's approach, combined with the disappointing food, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable dining experience.
