Immediately greeted at the door. To make things easier for us we joined the waitlist, before we got there. Checked in and only waited 10 mins before we were seated. I come to Texas Roadhouse a lot but I always get the same thing. I went last week and ventured out to try something new and I was very disappointed. I ordered a full rack of ribs with a side of rice and Mac and cheese. If this wasn't the driest/non-tender rack of ribs I've had I don't know what is. When I say dry, I mean the outside of it was tough and dry. Once you got inside near the bone it was a litter better but still hard to enjoy because a lot of that meat was sitting on top of the bone. Also, the Mac and cheese was horrible! No flavor, no consistency, barely enough cheese on the noodles. I had to take it home and add more flavor and cheese myself just to tolerate it. Thief! I went to celebrate a birthday and forgot my phone on the table. When I realized I did not have my phone, I went to the hostess and she told me no one had turned in the phone. I went to where I was sitting and the phone was not there. I went back to my vehicle and used my iPad to use find my iPhone. I went back into the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager, she told me no one had the phone, but I showed her the location is saying the phone is here! I turned around and a man was coming from the kitchen with my iPhone! The case was removed and he was wiping it down with a dirty dish towel! When I received the phone it was ice cold! My daughter and son recently visited this location to celebrate a coworker leaving the company. They left the table and my son led this AirPod case on the table. When he got to the car it notified him that it was left behind. By the time he got back inside it was gone. No one could find them. When he tracked them the next morning they were at someone's house. This place is the definition of mediocre. I mean the food was fine. Overall it lacked flavor. I ordered the roadkill which is a hamburger steak with onions, mushrooms and cheese on top. It was just a party of 4 but I did notice that larger parties were being split at two different tables (a couple reviews complained about that). They really don't have any wide table areas so it makes sense that parties of more than 6+ people would be split up. It's a heavy boothed kinda restaurant. Very maze like- cramped vibes so that's to be expected. Not too loud either. I could hear everyone at my table despite being there at a popular and busy time. This has always been my favorite place... But Went for my birthday and very disappointed. I placed on app for waiting list. App said 20 minutes wait well no biggie why I place the wait. Drove 18 minutes from my house. Live 2 towns away just to come here. This was perfect time to get our food, eat and be in time for the theater for our movie. Arrived and they were busy as usual. Walked in and told be another 20 minutes. WTH.... The idiots I guess up top decided to take out the waiting area and place table and chairs which was blocked off. Now visualize about 2-3 dz ppl crowded in the entrance and out the doorways and strolling outside waiting for tables (note it was sprinkling too) Received the txt and we went to desk. Waited another minute or so when a guy took my information and said staff be right here. A young guy walked up to the desk and took the tickets. No hi no welcome no nothing just walked off. So little lost since he didn't even get the bread as they usually do. So we decided to follow him. He walked around and just laid the tickets on table and walked off... Waitress came right after and she was very nice and apologized for the rude kid. She took our orders. And was swift to take it to kitchen and back with our drinks. We got our salads 15 minutes later and explained we would now need our dinners to go.. we all 3 finished them. Still waiting for our main courses. And waited and waited. After 30 minutes we asked waitress how long for our dinner. We explained we have to be out the door in 1 Minute. She quickly went to find out. The 1st cut was rare then go into medium rare then we'll done. The side that was ordered was sweet potato and loaded fries with the other steak. We ordered 1/2 dozen of the rolls with the cinnamon butter. We were given 2 small containers. The drinks were suppose to be 2 20oz bottle of soda. We they brought the food the drinks were forgot. When I informed they they bring me 2 16oz drink still for the same rate of the bottles. When I asked if they have a larger size that is comparable to the bottle they were telling me it was free. This place really knows how to do carry out during COVID-19. They are now back open for dine in, but we still prefer to order carry out. Have gotten carry out a couple of times since the pandemic started. We ordered for a group and everything was organized and boxed up per each of our requests. For their "loaded potato" they put all the various condiments in individual containers so you can add the amount you want when at home. Their prices are very reasonable too. Nice and soft with a soft cinnamon butter it basically was the best part of the meal. We got friend pickles for an appetizer that was also good. Perfectly breaded and fried. My main meal was not so great. My veggies were drenched in butter which made it pretty unappetizing to me. My loaded mash potatoes were not hot enough thus my cheese didn't melt in. The shrimp was okay but didn't taste fresh. By this time I was over my food. I didn't even try the sirloin. My boyfriend also didn't finish his food.
