    Grilled BBQ Chicken Dinner
    Taz D.

I went to this Texas Roadhouse with my in laws and twins around lunch time. The Early Dine menu had plenty of food items to choose from. Slightly disappointed that the Bacon Cheeseburger is no longer on the Early Dine menu. Our waitress was really nice and kept our water cups filled. I had the 6oz sirloin steak dinner. The flavor was nice but a little more done than I cared for. The sweet potato with cinnamon butter had amazing flavor. I typically only love sweet potato French fries, but the flavor for the sweet potato was comparable. My husband had the Bacon Cheeseburger. My husband thought it was ok; but the burger had been cooled off so much that the cheese remained in a solid American style cheese patty. The burger itself was a little salty and dry; but definitely still audible. My father in law had the BBQ Chicken dinner with mixed veggies and fries. The vegetables were made perfectly. The chicken was appropriately proportioned but kind of generic. His expectation would be an off-the-grill taste; and was thoroughly disappointed but still ate his food. My mother in law had the BBQ Chicken dinner with broccoli and baked potato. She enjoyed her veggies immensely. She asked for baked potato on the side but they put it on her baked potato. The chicken felt very plain and should have had more grill flavor. I went into the ladies restroom to change my son; and while everything was available, the changing table was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Disappointed, as I have been to many Texas Roadhouses, and have never had such an off experience all around. I'm not sure that I will come back for the food; but everyone was really nice that we interacted with.

We come often and this was the worst time. Our waiter was not attentive at all we had to wait forever to even get drinks. He forgot half of what we asked for and we had to ask another server for things. Waited forever for our food while others after us got theirs first. Bummer. Back to long horns or conners.

    Fresh veggies. Meh.

Food-3.5, service/curbside and ordering process-4.5. I mean, it's a chain, so you expect consistent but not mind-blowing food. My husband was craving the fluffy yeast rolls and all.the.meats. Texas Roadhouse has it's act together with the ordering and pickup process for to-go orders. Super impressive. The app is easy to order from and prompts your every step. The curbside spots are all clearly labeled, our food was ready within 20 minutes (during dinner on a weekend!) and they came to the car promptly with our mountain of meat. Aside from them forgetting the blue cheese on the steak that we had paid extra for, service was a 5-star experience. The food was good. They definitely excel with the steak and the rolls. I got the shrimp and filet combo. The filet in particular was so flavorful and tender, and cooked perfectly...which is hard to accomplish with to-go orders it seems. The shrimp (5) were seasoned really well and came with a side of herb butter. They had so much flavor that I ended up using the butter on the bland veggies. The mashed potatoes were fine. Served their purpose. My husband got the ribeye and rib combo. Guess he is a rib-tastic fan? He said there were some bites of ribs and steak that were tender and good but both were mostly overly chewy. He did really like his steak fries and said they were crispy and well-seasoned. Felt the same about his broccoli. Underseasoned. We will try salads next time instead. Yes to the filet and rolls. The sides...meh.

Off day! Kitchen staff must have been having an off day. Food times were off and behind. 3 gentlemen ordered before us at the bar. Each one of them got their food separately in 10 minute intervals. One gentleman got his salad after the main course came. I order the ribs with load steak fries (topped w/ cheese and bacon). Fries were cold and the cheese was semi melted with shreds of cheese still visible. On to the ribs they were cold and the bbq sauce was cold. Just an overall disappointing lunch. Bartender was attentive and friendly. She said the kitchen staff was short staffed and she couldn't figure out why everything was amiss. Hey manager please check on the food thats being served - bad day or not. Im about giving staff a break but it'll be hard to return for food service if it continues.

Our kids really like going to Texas Roadhouse. It's hard not to like the rolls with cinnamon butter that are sitting there waiting to be eaten as soon as you sit down. The menu is huge and doesn't seem to have a lot of healthy food, but there are plenty of American comfort food options. Given this, I opted for potato skins. It's a guilty pleasure of mine. My son had the kid's steak bites which he thinks are great. Friendly service and attentive staff as well.

6 oz. sirlion with a loaded baked potato

My husband and I ate here on a Friday night. We made sure we used their website to get on the waiting list while driving to the restaurant. I'm glad we did because we could hardly find parking! It was a busy night, but once we checked-in we only had a 10 min wait. When we eat here, we always order our usual...the 6 oz. sirlion (medium rare, of course) that comes with 2 sides. I always choose the house salad with blue cheese and the baked potato ( $.99 extra to make it loaded.) You get allll this food for under $12 (I think on certain days & times you can get this same meal for $9.99!) We also ordered the sidekick of ribs which came FREE with a birthday coupon. If you love Texas Roadhouse like we do, make sure you sign up for their emails and enter your birthday for free food!

I would not recommend this business. This is my first time back in 10 years. A bug ran across my arm the last time at a different location . This time, they at least didn't charge me for the bug in my drink. Over an hour later and we get served. Overcooked steak.... Athena server did a good job!

We had been meaning to try Humble Hog as I'm a huge fan of smoked bologna so I was disappointed to find that is only served at lunch. Our server was attentive and super sweet. She made some solid recommendations and we took her up on them. We opted instead for a few small plates and my wife and I shared the brisket. We opened with lobster hush puppies and burnt ends. The burnt ends were terrific, well seasoned, wonderfully smoked and a fair portion size. The hush puppies lacked lobster but were still tasty and cooked made to order. From there we indulged in the chipotle smoke Mac and cheese, brisket and corn pone. The brisket was terrific and tender and well smoked, the Mac and cheese was SUPERB and definitely had a spicy little kick but the corn pone was awful. I understand that it's essentially cornbread pancakes but there was zero flavor and they were almost cold. I was looking forward to these because you don't see them on the menu many places abut they were not good. Cornbread served like this should be made to order and served hot and fresh. We finished with the banana pudding which was excellent and I think the finish the top with marshmallow fluff that they torch to give it a smoky taste. So when you head down to humble hog go at lunch and try the bologna, I bet it's amazing...and skip the corn pone.

The calendar is on the web page. But why chase bad BBQ. This wood pellet (Traeger) grill smoked BBQ is dry. The smoke flavor is light to the point of being almost non-existent. The rub is okay, but when a brisket is this dry it's just not worth eating. The other meats are okay. The pork is probably the best thing, and it's just good not great. The ribs were okay too. The sides are about the only reason this has two stars instead of one. The mac and cheese is tasty and well made. The beans are good. Look, I don't write any reviews less than three stars and few less than four stars unless I have visited a place multiple times. Any place can have an off day, and I hate giving lower reviews to small businesses. But this is just NOT good BBQ. And, yes, I know a bit about BBQ, with deep roots in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, and Italy. I've cooked many briskets. Many. With wood. Cooked many pork butts and ribs. Tons. I especially want to try the pork belly bites, but those are only on Fridays. I ordered the most popular dish, the gomer. I asked what the freshest meat was because the reviews varied. Many stated that there was a lot of dry meats, others report tender and perfect. My suggestion if you don't want to be disappointed is to ask what is the freshest for that moment in time. Pork was it today and it was delicious. I think next time I would rather get the meat plate as all the sides piled onto the pork was a bit over the top for me. I wanted to taste each item they have separately, but it was challenging being piled together. But that is what I get for picking the popular item and not what I think I would enjoy more. Gomer was $12. I see the cost has gone from $10, then $11 and now $12. I would not be willing to pay more than $12 but I understand the cost of food has gone up. Curious why the nacho is $16. If I understand correctly it is just the gomer with chips and cheese. I don't think that is worth $4 more. Maybe the quantity is more too??? Overall, I am happy with my first trip to Lloyd's and looking forward to pork belly bites in my future.
