We arrive at 4pm on a Saturday and there was already a 30min wait, ok fine. We wait and get seated in a corner in which we had to squeeze past the table right next to it to get into the booth. The other table did not enjoy us getting so close to their food. When we asked the hostess if we could just sit at one of the empty tables in the bar, another lady came and said, "No we have to work with what we have available and this is your only option." Fine, but when our actual waiter had to take our order from the next table behind us because even he couldn't fit between us and the table next to us, it's a bit a problem. The bread also has burnt crumbs all over it, but not from the bread itself, so it was cross contaminated with something else. No answers given to what it could be, but we aren't going to complain about some free bread. So looking at the menu and online, I notice there isn't an allergen menu. When questioned, the only option was for gluten but when there's 8 major food allergies and only listing one, it doesn't put much faith in me trying not to die at a restaurant. I order a house salad with no dressing since I have already witnessed cross contamination, the only thing I was willing to take the chance of eating was a bowl of lettuce. It was a fine bowl of iceberg lettuce. My partner, who's birthday we were out celebrating, ordered a ribeye cooked medium rare, house salad and loaded mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were not loaded and the steak was the shittiest cut of meat and a poor excuse for a ribeye. Usually the waiter waits until you cut into it before they leave to make sure it's cooked correctly. I guess because it was just a food runner and not our actual waiter delivering our food, she left immediately. The steak was cooked well done. Not even a smidge of pink to be seen. We send it back as soon as our waiter comes over and don't get it fixed since we have already been here for over an hour at this point. The house salad was also fine. My brother ordered a cheeseburger, and it was also extremely over-cooked and dry. He takes another bite because the hunger has really set it, and it's pure salt. I have never seen him make the face he did and spit out food. He had to drink my water since they never refilled his drink. My mom ordered the pork chop, and it was also over cooked. No one ate their actual meal. The only thing consumed were 3 bowls of lettuce, that we paid $35 for. We leave hungrier than before and pissed that a birthday dinner was no dinner at all. read more

This used to be my favorite steakhouse, and have been coming here for years, but have had 3 star service at best the last few times, including tonight. It was about ten minutes before we saw our server (not very busy at the time). I had my cutlery replaced twice, and with plastic ware the third, which took about ten minutes before the server finally remembered. My wife and daughter were done with their salads by then. I ended up canceling my order. It's a shame that this'll probably be our last visit to this place. Also, as I was writing this review, our food came out and guess what?...it was wrong because he didn't write it down. Disappointed is an understatement. I hate giving restaurants with good food bad reviews. However, I am hoping the manager will read this and make some adjustments. My husband and I always sit at the bar because we get good service. Unfortunately the bar had horrible service. We ordered our appetizers, the potato skins, and they came out in a timely manner. But after we placed our food order it went downhill fast. We ordered two bowls of soup mine came out and my husbands didn't come until 10 mins later. We didn't have spoons so we asked the bartender if we could get some spoons. Her response "oh yea, we are out of spoons" We ate our chili with forks and cancelled the rest of our order after waiting nearly 40 mins and promptly left. First, I love Texas Roadhouse, have eaten at several over several years, ALWAYS GOOD, but... This one is awful, the worst... we're traveling, staying at La Quinta west of Memphis and this Roadhouse is an easy walk across the street. We called for take out. (Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at about 4:30). First, put on hold, long holds, twice. Hung up, called back, put on hold again, but when the guy (Brittany answered my first call) finally came back on I grabbed him and told him to take my order. He did, told me 25 minutes.. Another guy waiting for take out was ahead of me and including the 25 minute he waited, walked, like me, and waiting... waiting - he was into it for a full hour when I got there. I grabbed a young lady at the front register and asked about orders, expressing our displeasure at being ignored, she said she'd check on our orders, she disappeared in back for 15 minutes, came back with my order but not the order for the other guy. ?!?!!! (By the way, while I was waiting,Brittany ran out the door with her purse hanging on her shoulder). The young lady said she would get me bread, while I'm waiting again, the other guys order came and was wrong, missing items... No longer, I'm hungry, my wife is hungry, I left and wished the other guy good luck. Got back to the hotel, wife's food stone cold(steak and shrimp), my burger ok, but no utensils, napkins... NOTHING... Chris is the manager, but obviously has no control, my phone take out order should have been put in a queue with all the other orders and handled with the respect that ALL the orders deserve. Visit here a few times per year while traveling on business. Close to local mall and several chain hotels it is a safe bet for dinner. I've been to several roadhouses and I've never had any problems. Tonight I did. I ordered the salmon with a loaded baked potato and broccoli with extra lemon butter sauce on the side for my salmon. When I got my meal it looked good, but my bacon was missing off my loaded potato and my broccoli was raw not steamed. So I let my waitress Heather know, and she apologizes and informs me that they've had problems in the kitchen tonight. So as I start to dig into my potato...it's hard in places like it was taken out of the oven too soon. I felt bad already for complaining so I just picked around it. The dryness of the potato I couldn't ignore. They put maybe a teaspoon of butter and sour cream on this potato. I had to ask for extra. I was given about 1 milliliter of lemon butter sauce for this huge piece of salmon. I don't know what that was going to do but I had to ask for more. I was given about 2 milliliters of sauce the second time. I hardly ever complain but this was not the experience I would have expected from roadhouse. I've been there twice and I was satisfied both times I went. The food was very tasty. The first time I went, I had the grilled salmon and that was seasoned just right. The second time I went, I had the smothered chicken. You have a choice of having gravy or cheese on it and I chose cheese. It also had sautéed onions and mushrooms. It was pretty good. The chicken was kinda small but if you were to get two fulfilling sides then you'll leave satisfied as well. Also with the free bread that comes to the table, you would leave full every time. Went last Saturday night. They were packed with a 20 minute wait. But boy was it worth the wait. Our waitress was Summer she was awesome. She had rolls on the table before we were even seated and anticipated our every need before we even asked. You never would have known they were so busy. Well I decided to treat myself again and order the brownie. She brings me this. What is this? I was a little irritated because my brownie is saturated in ice cream, and the ice cream was like soup. The loaded sweet potato is heavenly and is more like dessert. Can't go wrong here. And there ain't no dang mice running across the floor. As 1st time visitors, we got a small plate of BBQ ribs that were tender and delicious! Their complimentary hot bread and cinnamon butter were delicious. Beer was servered in a chlled frosted glass. My house margarita had a great taste (not chemically as in some restaurants). I chose a Caeser salad and it had a wonderful creamy, mildly sweet dressing. Let me start by saying our server was really good this is 100% thanks to the kitchen and managers. My husbands steak was wrong 3 times, mine was wrong on the first shot, it was no joke 80 something degrees in there, and it was my birthday dinner. My drink wasn't good and over all it just wasn't a pleasant experience. We were told 15 minuets when we arrived after 20 we asked how much longer and were told 10 minuets. We watched as they told everyone 10-15mins none of us were sat that quickly. After an additional 10 minuets we found out they had basically skipped us because they "lost" our name in the system. We got a tiny booth. We are four larger people and we were all shoulder to shoulder. That combined with the excessive heat made my anxiety flare something horrible! I had to make trips outside to cool off. My husbands steak was $27 he got the massive porter house. With prices like theirs you'd think they could at least afford to turn on the AC! I feel awful for the staff, because if I'm sweating not moving they must be dieing. The bathroom needs some serious attention and love. This location is pretty average. Not the greatest but not the worst. We went on Father's Day and it was busy as anticipated. This location does not have a large outside waiting area; only two benches outside the front door. The inside area was of course packed like sardines and unfortunately, their air conditioning didn't seem to be working as it was cooler outside than in (and it was in the 90s outside) Waited about 40 minutes to be seated and another 10 minutes before our waiter even paused to say he'd be with us in a moment. We weren't given rolls as we were seated as you normally get and it was not any cooler further into the restaurant sadly. Another 10 minutes before he came and we placed our order. The waiter didn't write down what our family of 4 wanted and came back several times questioning our order. Rolls were finally brought to us with our appetizer of potato skins. I had to ask for silverware. When the food came some things were wrong but were quickly fixed. The steaks were good and not over cooked. This restaurant is horrible. Don't go here. They stop sitting people at 8:30 at night even though there hours are til 10pm. You need to show you close at 8 pm. Then if you show up before 6 pm they will not honor the dinner before 6 pm promotion. They purposely make you wait until after 6 pm and tell you that is not available. Don't bother unless you are ordering to go. You might get better service. I have been trying to go there for a month and a half and only seated 1 time. That is 50 times I have been turned away. At 15.00 an order, possibly 3 meals ordered, that is $750.00 out the door during post Covid recovery. The one time I was seated I could not find my waiter. When I did he could not be troubled to be interested in me. Forget getting rolls. It's like asking for a kidney. No one wants to be there, we are inconveniencing all the workers who are busy on their cell phones. I have been going to Chili's. They seat me right away, my waiter is always passing me by asking if I need anything, I am way more than a check to the waiter at Chili's. I am family. I have been seated 50 out of 50 times. They are way more attentive. Benny, Alexis, Peyton, Shey, Corey, and so many more make my day. Benny knew my order by the 3rd visit. I don't need much. He is awesome and just knows if I need a refill as he goes to other tables. They are not wait staff, they are my friends. So even though I can walk across the street to Texas Roadhouse, forget it. After leaving another restaurant because of an extra long Friday night wait we ended up here. It had been a very long time since I had eaten at a Texas Roadhouse so we thought why not? We were seated with no wait at all! I had to use the restroom and had to ask a waitress where it was located, she was very sweet and helped me right away! The restroom was clean and perfect even after 9pm! I made my way back to my table and our waiter was there and was taking our drink order. He returned with our drinks and a fresh from the oven basket of rolls and lots of that wonderful cinnamon butter! We placed our order and started on that fresh bread. It was so good! We both ate 2 rolls before we knew what happened! I ordered a ribeye, baked sweet potato with that cinnamon butter and vegetables, my boyfriend ordered the bone-in ribeye with vegetables and seasoned rice. Our steaks were perfectly cooked to order and seasoned so well there was no need for steak sauce, it was one of the best steaks I had eaten in a very long time! Our veggies were perfect! Even the broccoli was cooked but not mushy! My sweet potato was fantastic and my boyfriend had me try his rice and we were both surprised at how good it tasted!
