Bartender/waiter (wearing a driver hat) was quick & courteous fixing a grub hub mistake, even with packed restaurant/bar. Food was good too.

The Bay continues to be an A-OK spot, in my opinion. Your classic pub food can be found here, but…read morealso a few elevated options like unique pasta dishes, salmon cakes, and tofu peanut satay. Came here recently with a group of six, and good thing we made a rez because it was full! Our server wasn't the friendliest guy around but still made sure we were taken care of. I personally stuck with water but half the table went with old fashioned. Everyone had the same note as to how very sweet they were. My husband and I shared the cubano sandwich and the buffalo cauliflower bites. Those cauli bites were fire, I could order those everytime and be happy! Wasn't the biggest fan of the cubano though. There was way more bread than there was fillings. Oh and I tried my brother's pizza! That was very good. I'll look forward to returning for patio season - great outdoor space here!

I really enjoyed this place. The servers were very friendly and attentive. For an appetizer we got…read morethe artichoke dip- the chips served with it were very good. My partner got the hot chicken sandwich and said it was a 7/10. I got the cubano, and while it tasted good, was kind of disappointed in the cubano to bread ratio. Other than that we had a nice lunch here and wouldn't mind stopping by in if in the area. Foods alright, service is good, but the old fashioned pitcher was what bumped this place up to a 4.

We came here after learning from some locals that it's the nicest and most consistent restaurant in…read moreWhitefish Bay. Another big determining factor was that they're very gluten free friendly and items are marked on the menu (gluten free or can be made gluten free). They also have non-alcoholic options if you or anyone in your party does not imbibe. We made a same day reservation for a party of 4 for a Saturday night dinner. Our table was ready for us when we arrived. The dining area was pretty small and it was almost full at 8 PM. They do have tables outside when the weather allows, and a bar, so that could be an option if you can't book a table inside. What we ordered, and our thoughts: Drinks: Cherry Spritzer (NA) , French 75 Food: Salmon , Blackened Tuna , Niçoise Salad with Blackened Tuna , Caesar Salad with Anchovies , Clam Chowder I would get the Niçoise Salad with the Salmon because it's much easier to break down with a fork to eat. The bathroom was clean and spacious, too. :)

Had a lovely time back in Moxie! It's been few years for us, but the food, drinks, and service…read moreremains really great. My husband and I came in on a whim, and given that it was a Friday night we got very lucky being able to snag two seats at the bar. I love bar seating honestly, especially where bartenders are friendly, as they were. These guys knew what they were doing too, because they wiped up our craft cocktails in a flash. Moxie is kind of known for their martinis, and have a whole section on their menu for them, so naturally that's what I gravitated towards. I can't recall the name of the one I chose, but essentially it was Hendrick Gin, cucumber, and mint. So refreshing. My husband had a bourbon cocktail of sorts and really enjoyed it too. We weren't in the mood for full-dinner so instead shared the short rib medallions from the apps list. Those were tasty! Perfectly cooked braised short rib on top polenta medallions with bourbon-marinated peaches and cambozola cheese... what's not to love? We also had the caesar salad with chicken, which was crispy and hit the spot. Plan to spend a decent amount of $$ dining here, but you get what you pay for. All in all, a nice night!

We visited here recently for our first time. We were a little skeptical after reading some of the…read morereviews from about a year ago, however, we were pleasantly surprised with the entire meal. The servers were attentive and friendly and the food was really good. We ordered wine/beer (decent pricing and pour), kids meals, a ruben, salad, and cheeseburger with jalepeno bacon. All of the food was really good. They served locally made pretzel bread before the meal with flavored butter which tasted like honey mustard. Based on previous reviews, it seems like the place is working to improve their food and service. I am holding off on the 5th star to see the menu expand over time. Perhaps they are focusing on improving from where they were a year ago. I would suggest adding a wider/more unique selection of foods for people that want something a little different, such as the honey mustard butter they serve. Ambiance is great and the kids enjoyed their meals (kid and adult menu items) as well. It certainly didn't hurt that the kids were able to leave the dining room and walk out to their giant playdium with a huge selection of video games, basketball shoot hoops, pinball machines, and other fun games for kids. Depending on the evening, this room is staffed by an adult and you can pay for unlimited play for your children to play in the room while you dine. Or they can have their own meal served in there if you prefer to have them play while you dine alone. The options are pretty wide, but it's close enough that your children aren't far, but not so close that you hear the noise of kids/video games. I also appreciated that the room looked and felt clean. Definitely a far cry from some of those other 'kid game pizza places' where the rooms are sweaty and germy feeling. This is very different, in that it's clean, well staffed, and all the games are included after paying a low fee to get unlimited play. I would suggest this for couples that want to go out and let their kids play while they dine/socialize with their friends. We are looking forward to returning.

It was perfection and we will be hosting our wedding there! We started with the duck confit risotto and honestly, I could eat that every day for the rest of my life. My fiancé ordered the lamb chops and I got a beef dish I don't remember the name of. Food tasted as good as it looked, but we did wish the chops had more of the veggies or something more filling added to the plate. My fiancé was still hungry after he finished, but my meal was so large I split it with him and I was still full. The desserts looked a little sketchy to me in that they seemed to have a lot of components but ORDER THEM! The banana dessert really didn't have a strong banana flavor, but it was mouth watering. Get it. Don't share! All in all, we were so happy with the excellent service and delicious food that we aren't even knocking a star.
