We love Texas roadhouse and go to 1 every week. If your from the Phoenix Arizona area you will understand this comment, the TR is the AJ of TR. The food was good as usual but the chili at this place had way too many beans in the chili.....all the other TR and chili have double to triple the meat to beans. The table behind us had kids running around the restaurant and constantly getting on the way of the servers.

Steak Medallion. Supposed to be medium rare.

This is the second time in a week that our steaks were over cooked. Way over cooked. I ordered the Filet Medallions. The steak was over cooked and the rice was cold. (Ordered medium rare) Husband ordered the Steak salad. And ask for the house salad instead of what came with it. Steak was ordered medium rare and it came back well done. And the wrong salad. I asked the waitress what was going on. She said they had some newbies cooking and they've had a lot of over cooked steaks. I'm sorry. But I understand newbies but I don't want to pay for their mistakes. If a cook is messing up that bad, have that person step aside and get someone in there who knows how to cook. We won't be back for awhile.

Awesome place, great service. Always one of my go to restaurants. Quick, good quality food, great ambiance and very good service. Love the freshly baked bread and sweet fresh soft butter !! Appetizers were yum - Fried Pickles. Tater skins and cactus blossom. Main meal of Salmon Cesar salad was super !!! If you are staying in Courtyard which is just next door to Texas Roadhouse, high possibility of getting this coupon of free appetizer with the main entree at the check-in time. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and company.

I was in Newark for my son's hockey game and we had a hankering for steak afterwards. This place was hopping! We had to wait but they had it down to a science considering the chaotic waiting area. Our waitress wasn't terribly friendly, but I'm sure she was slammed with tables. The rolls and salads came quickly and were just as expected, but our entrees took at least 30 minutes to come out. I ordered the 6 ounce filet and while it wasn't the choicest cut (I expect a filet to be thick), it was cooked to the requested med rare. For a chain steakhouse, I think they do a nice job.

The last time I ate at this Texas Roadhouse was months ago. Due to my steak being over cooked as to what I ordered. Well we decided to try it again and here we are to medium well (crunchy) steak.

The food came out fast, which was great. The pizza was decent, and I ordered the meatball sub, which was good and satisfying. It's a nice spot overall, relaxed and easy for a casual dinner. Nothing stood out as a major downside on this visit--just a straightforward, pleasant meal with quick service and solid food.

Whether it's a mid-week dinner or a weekend hangout, they managed to nail the "elevated neighborhood gem" vibe perfectly. The Food The star of the show is undoubtedly the wood-fired pizza. You can taste the authenticity in the crust--perfectly charred with that signature smoky finish you can only get from a real wood oven. The toppings are fresh, and the balance of flavors shows they aren't just making pizza; they're perfecting it. On the lighter (but equally delicious) side, the fish tacos are a standout. It's rare to find a wood-fired joint that treats seafood with this much respect. The fish is always flaky and fresh, complemented by bright, crisp toppings that make for a perfect contrast to the rich, smoky pizzas. The Service What truly sets Elliot's apart, though, is the bar staff. The service here is consistently top-notch. The team is incredibly knowledgeable--whether you're looking for a specific craft beer pairing or a recommendation from their cocktail list, they know the menu inside and out. It's the kind of place where the staff makes you feel like a regular from your very first visit. Final Verdict: Excellent food, a great tap list, and a team that actually knows their stuff. Elliot's is easily a 5-star experience.

Whether you're a local or just passing through the village, it's a spot that consistently delivers on its promises. The Highlights - Exceptional Bar Staff: The service at the bar is genuinely top-tier. The bartenders here aren't just order-takers; they are craftspeople who know their way around a shaker and offer excellent recommendations with a side of genuine hospitality. Consistently Great Food: You rarely have an "off" night here. From the seasonal entrees to the classic staples, the kitchen maintains a level of quality and presentation that makes every meal feel like a special occasion. A Wine Lover's Haven: The wine selection is expansive and thoughtfully curated. If you really want the full experience, their wine flights are a total hit The Reality Check - The only real "con" to mention is the price point. It is certainly on the higher side for the region, and your bill can climb quickly if you're exploring that impressive wine list. However, this is a classic case of getting what you pay for. Between the ambiance, the caliber of the ingredients, and the polished service, the value is definitely there. Final Verdict: Perfect for an anniversary, a sophisticated date night, or just a Tuesday when you want a glass of Cabernet and a meal that won't let you down.

He even joked to me that he was glad he brought his own drink because he couldn't have waited that long without it. A few tables came in, sat, ordered, ate, and left before we got our food. The staff running around seemed to be trying to take care of tables but it was pretty disorganized. I know they have a sign up for "now hiring" so I'm assuming they are understaffed, but my unsolicited advice is to not sit tables you can't serve. Once we did get our food the sandwich was soggy and the breakfast items were cold. I'll give credit that the pancakes were hot and weren't bad. Overall a rough visit. Usually work to avoid most chains and fast food spots in favor of local, mom and pop options, and would recommend trying somewhere else.

With a party of 17, my husband and I arrived early to secure seating, only to be told we couldn't be seated until our assigned server arrived--despite the fact that she had quit and was still on the schedule. A woman who appeared to be a manager or assistant manager then told us to move from the bar area (where we were told to wait) to the waiting area in front of the restaurant. When I questioned why we couldn't be seated in the meantime, she became visibly irritated, raised her voice, and made the situation uncomfortable, emphasizing that "It is Easter" and she was giving her employees time with their families. With that and her display, we decided to leave, and as we did, she repeatedly said, "Have a nice day!" in a condescending tone. Fortunately, LongHorn Steakhouse in Heath, OH turned our day around. They welcomed us immediately, and the managing partner, Adrienne Schmitt, went above and beyond--having heard about our experience, she even provided complimentary appetizers. The difference was remarkable. Excellent service, great food, and genuine hospitality. Kudos to LongHorn--we'll be back! Texas Roadhouse in Newark, your management team needs to do better.
